Buick has confirmed a new addition to its American vehicle line-up, as it will be launching the Buick Envista stateside. The Envista was previously thought to be a China-exclusive model for the brand but will now bolster the US offering as Buick looks to strengthen its brand image.

Earlier in 2022, Buick announced a new brand identity and revealed several concept vehicles including the stunning Wildcat, showcasing the brand's future design direction and focus on electrification. But while redesigns of models like the Enclave and Envision have complimented the Buick Encore GX, more new product is needed.

Built on the VSS-F platform that underpins the Encore GX, the Envista is larger in size. It remains to be seen whether the Envista will replace the Encore GX or slot in above it in the current lineup. At the recent GM Investor Day, Buick president, Mark Reuss, broke the news. "It's already in production in China, paying forward the Buick design off the Wildcat," said Reuss. "A beautiful vehicle, getting ready for the US here as well, just a beautiful addition to the Buick lineup."rnBuick has been enjoying some good years in China, prompting the brand to focus more on its efforts there than in the US. This focus has brought about China-only models like the attractive Chevrolet Seeker and Buick Envista.

US-wise, the new Chevrolet Trax was recently announced on the same platform as those two. This news gave us a feeling we would see a new model for Buick, too, as the Trax and the regular Encore were corporate siblings. No further details were shared, like when we would see the model hit US shores or how much it would cost, but that will most likely come with the official Buick reveal.

The Envista currently on sale in China only has one engine option: a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 181 horsepower paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive. It sends power exclusively to the front wheels and is good for a 0-60 sprint of 7.9 seconds.

It also has a base price equivalent to $21,000 and a whole host of features along with a sporty GS trim but seemingly no Avenir one.

Looking at the upcoming Chevrolet Trax, we can better understand what to expect from the Buick. The Trax is also going to start around $21,000, with a whole host of features like automatic climate control, push-button start, wireless phone charging, and adaptive cruise control. Should the Buick emulate the Trax mechanically, a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine will feature 137 hp. Whether the Buick will have any other powertrain options owing to its luxury status is unknown.

Overall, it's slightly bigger than the current Encore GX, leading to a more spacious cabin and slightly bigger dimensions. Now since nothing's been confirmed, there's a chance that Buick intends to just slot this above the current GX. For one, the fact that it's only FWD is a downgrade from the AWD option on the GX. Then there's also the fact that GM recently debuted a facelifted GX in China, so the model doesn't seem completely done just yet. We'll have to wait and see exactly what Buick's thinking.

I entrusted my family life and safety in Buicks hands, only to discover that they did not have my familys best interest in mind. We got older ones before, however this was the one I liked the best. It is a nice car, but with problems. This car has 2000 miles now and is in the shop for 2 weeks already to be fixed. The problem is that the engine overheated on the way home from school. I had my daughter with me which was so scary and unsafe. I got the car in the shop and they said that the cooling oil and the oil are mixing together which should not happen. They said that this will be a easy fix and the car will be good to go again in 2 weeks. 2 weeks have passed and I get a phone call from the shop that said that they need more time because some of the parts did not come yet. He ordered couple of pages of parts and will take more time. I am concerned for my safety and my family safety that this car with a couple of pages of parts being replaced and the engine being taken down... This NEW car will not function as a new car ever again. I wanted a new car for safety and comfort which I lost in the moment that all this happened. My experience with Buick Encore is not even close to comfort and safety and I dont feel safe to even try to take it back home. What I wanted and still want is a new car.

My car needed some serious work, and has for several months. There is an issue with the GM model of engine in my Buick that was brought to my attention about a year ago, that resulted a class action suit against GM. It was described to me as a slow deterioration of something within the engine (I am not a mechanic and do not claim to be. However, I am in a technical field). I have been saving up the money to get the (1000 dollars plus) repair done. About 3 months ago, my car started overheating. I was told that it would take about $1000 to $1500 to fix. But they said that they could not tell me exactly without taking the engine apart, which would cost several hundred dollars. They showed me how to put coolant directly into the radiator to avoid damaging the engine, until I could afford to get it fixed. I did it daily. The car kept running until eventually it overheated enough to cause several leaks, so I took it to them to fix. Originally, I was told it would be $1000 to $1500 to fix. They tentatively gave me a ballpark figure. I would not hold them to an estimate when they had not looked at the engine. And that is not what this complaint is about.By the time they called me the first time with an actual quote, it was around $2000 (I did not get it in writing). I asked them how much it would cost to fix the fan while they were in there (fan only worked on high, and was a preexisting issue). They told me it would add a couple hundred. I asked them to do that while they were in the engine. Once they called me back, they had found a bunch of other stuff that was wrong with my engine they had not quoted me for, and that it was now going to cost over 3000 dollars. When I told them to stop working on it, they informed me that they had already done 700 plus dollars worth of work. So, if they stopped, I would still have to pay that and my car would still not work. I could not afford this. But they assured me that the good news is that it passed the block test and the head gasket was fine. It had been tested several times. Since that was okay, my car would work for years after this repair.Having already been out of work for days without my car, I arranged to borrow money from my mother to cover the repairs, so I could get back to work. When I spoke with the mechanic to authorize the repairs, they listed a long list of everything that is needed to be done. It was a very long list. When they were done, I told them, I understand it needs quite a bit of work, but my only concern is the end result. I then asked them, If my car is only worth 4000 dollars, and I put 3020 dollars into it, when it is done, will it no longer overheat, will it be drivable, and will the heater work? The mechanic I spoke to (KJ **) said yes and continued to sell me on the repairs and what a good idea it was to do. I then asked the exact same question, just to be sure (I was planning for the worst) and got the same yes answer.The car was in the shop for a few days. The turn around was quite quick for the huge list of things that needed to be done (according to them). I called to check on it daily. I was never warned about any other problems. They told me on Saturday when I called that it was done, although I never received a call. And it was the end of the day when I tried calling. Im not even sure if they were open on a Saturday. And they told me that I had to come get it immediately. Well, it started out as him being pushy and encouraging me to come get it right then. But he eventually turned in to being flat out. He told me I had to pick it up because they did not have room on the lot for it.Regardless of if it was a rush job, a mistake on their part, or flat out fraud, I was sold an end result I did not get. When my girlfriend went to pick up the car to go to work (her work is approximately 1.5 miles from the auto mechanics shop), she was told that it was all fixed (just as I was on the phone). But she was told to keep an eye on it just in case and if it overheats to bring it back. She did not make it to work before it started overheating, not a mile and a half. Our house is only about a half mile away from her work (basically in between the two). So luckily, she was able to make it home after work. She told me it had gotten over half way to the red overheating in that short of a distance. So, the first thing I did the next day was to take it for a test drive (starting out fresh while it was still cold).It overheated off the charts within 10 blocks, red-line overheating. I immediately called the mechanic while letting the car cool down. It was the same guy who had sold me on the repairs (KJ **) and also the same guy that rushed it out the door. When I told him it was overheating, he sounded like he was trying to sound surprised. He was not sincere at all, very forced. He said, Oh really, thats weird. Then, he told me to let it cool down, take it back, and they would take care of it, and that they must have missed something. He said, You know, sometime things get overlooked. Being in a technical trade, I told him I understood (which I did, things happen). I asked him specifically: I have no money left. I just gave you guys 3000 dollars. I do not have. This will not cost me anything correct? He said yes. Once again, I repeated myself and made him repeat the same affirmative answer. I always cover my bases when there is a large amount of money on the line.The car was with them for several days, and I did not hear a word. They did not call me once. I kept calling. All KJ ** would tell me was that they were running a block test to see if it passed. He told me it passed one day, then it failed the next, and back and forth on 4 separate occasions. He said: It failed hot, so were going to let it cool down over night and test it again in the morning. It failed cold so were letting it run. Its been running for hours so it must be fixed (which is obviously a flat out lie, since it could not make it 10 blocks). It passed hot, and so on, going back and forth. He gave me no real answers and becoming less and less honest. This is the test they guaranteed me my car had passed initially before all of these repairs. And this was the whole reason it would be worth it to put $3020 into my 2000 Buick that is only worth $4000 or so.After four or five days total, KJ ** put me on hold for the first time. Then, someone named Nick (who refused to give me his last name when I called) got on the phone. He started listing off the things that needed to be repaired. I said, Thats great, but this is obviously not going to cost me anything extra right? He told me that since it failed the block test, it needed x done (head gasket I believe, along with some other things). And he told me that since that was not what they did initially, it would not be under warranty. Then, he started listing off things that were $400 to $500 a piece, which is where I cut him off. My response was (expletive deleted): Are you ** kidding me? You sell me on a 3000 dollar repair, guarantee me that the thing that is now broken is not broken and that’s the good news. You guarantee me an end result of a working car. But as soon as it drives off the lot, it cannot drive a mile. In addition to that, it broke in your possession due to being rushed or bad repair work, misdiagnosed, or whatever. Now you want more money?!I was obviously quite upset. He kept telling me the same not our problem type responses (that is not an actual quote, however everything else in this report is almost word for word). I told him I was going to call my lawyer. And I told them that I expect them to provide the service they charged me 3000 dollars for, and that was a working car. I told him I would call him back the next day. I immediately looked up everything I would need should they not honor the service they charged me for: this website (the BBB), the State Attorney General, King 5 news Scam Watch series, etc. I also found around 50 reviews online from other unhappy customers that claimed they had done the same thing to them (overcharged etc). Most of them were oil changes that ended up being hundreds. But a few of them were 2000 to 3000 dollar charges that were in the same or similar situations I was, except most of them at least had a working car to show for it!When I called the next day, the uncooperative Nick picked up the phone. I told him he had a day to think about the situation, and asked him if he had decided to do right by his customer. He continued the same not our problem responses. At that point is when I informed him I had legal counsel and that I would be filing with the BBB, State Attorney General, the credit card company, and have them featured on the news. I also told him that I would be taking him to court if they refused to provide the service that they had charged me for. He said, Lets go to court.One thing I find interesting is that when I was referring to my and KJ **s earlier conversation, he said yea that was me when I was quoting KJ **. He told me that I had talked to him. I never talked to him until they decided to try to get more money out of me. I pay very close attention to that type of thing in these situations. There are only 3 different employees I have ever spoken with there (Nick, Ken and KJ). KJ ** was new to me with this repair job. They dont even sound the same on the phone. KJ ** has a pretty noticeable accent, so this immediately jumped out at me as a complete lie. He was obviously trying to add credibility to his argument. Because if it was him I had been talking to, then he could argue about what had been said, and attempt to twist the end result.So, I am now filing this with you along with every other place I mentioned above. Thank you for your help. I just wanted my car fixed for the $3020 (less would have been better, but I was willing to pay it to have my car back and working). And I gave them countless opportunities to finish the job for the agreed upon price, all of which they refused. So now I am asking for my money back. I have been unable to work 2 weeks now due to being lied to, defrauded, sold a scam, and ripped off. I am an on-site computer technician and have to be able to get to a job site within 30 minutes, which is almost impossible in Seattle on public transit. Thank you for your assistance.

Isnt the sensor covered?” He said no, because it’s the wires corrosion and then he said rodents/rats ate the wires. I didnt know that service repair specializes in rodents. Which lie is it? I dont trust car dealer mechanics. I dont recommend LaCrosses and their phony warranties. A rat ate my wires - yeah right! I’m not satisfied! I called everybody in the corporate branches - no one helped me! I also like to mention that if you’re a tall or big person, dont buy LaCrosse as youll hit your head and knees. Looks are deceiving. Dont buy cars in Woodbridge, New Jersey on Rt. 1&9. Poor repair service.

From color to design, each one is a little bit different which made it hard to choose. But I finally did and I love my choice. Buick offers many options from window tint to wheels and rims. There is protective coat on the paint and special stuff to prevent stains inside. It is roomy, has good gas mileage, nice interior and I love the storage area. There is enough room for the whole family as well as baggage and stroller. It is able to fit 7 people total. It’s amazing because I have two kids and I am married so I can also take other kids with me if needed and have plenty of room without squishing people.

For the past 8 months, I have only been able to drive my Buick for 2 weeks at a time without having serious issues. The engine light will come on and I get the following error messages: reduced engine power, max speed 32 mph, traction control off, service StabiliTrak. The first time this happened, I was on the interstate driving 75 mph! Since the end of July, I have had my car in for service multiple times at several different service centers. It has now been at Todd Wenzel Dealership in Davison, MI since January 6th (today is March 22nd), with no diagnosis. Today I was told they cannot diagnose it until the vehicle gets worse and that I should drive it until another symptom develops! They said since they cannot replicate the problem, they dont deem the car unsafe to drive.I have kept records that detail the issues I have been having and the attempts that have been made to fix it. If I did not still owe $12,000 I would have gotten rid of this car by now. I have been told: Total customer satisfaction is important at Buick. If this is truly the case, then Buick/GM should step up and make this right: either figure out the problem and fix it, or give me a replacement vehicle worth what I still owe. This is just not ok and I am at my wits end.

Its a good value for the money! Its a pretty casual looking car. Its beige, and isnt very flashy at all. It is roomy, and it would make a great family car. Overall, its an attractive looking ride! It can be upgraded and personalized, but really not all that much. Its pretty much what you see is what you get! It is a very spacious family car. Its leg/set room is its number one feature. It is great for people who are tall! Everyone is my family has long legs, so its a great fit!

Not being told that this car was in an accident totaling $5600.00 on 10/09/2009 on the right side of the car, 2 doors and front fender was replaced. I have located the body shop manager that was there at the time and he remembers the car and what happened to it. The owner of Ewing Buick loaned this car to his housekeeper to clean his house and his mother’s house at the time. She was in an alleyway and a homeowner came out of his driveway not seeing her and hit the LaCrosse on the passenger side. The car was repaired at Ewing Buick and then back out on showroom floor to sell. When I walked into Ewing Buick on 12/29/10 to buy a car, Rosemary was my sales representative, a very nice person. She did tell us, my husband and me, that the car had a dent on the front bumper, but it was fixed so they would take off a $1000.00 for that. Also, she had Randy, the finance officer, to come in and tell me about the dent on the bumper also. I guess to make sure I was aware of it. My husband and I both said that Rosemary told us about it. I asked how it happened and the excuse given to us was that the car was being cleaned up and the porter did not realize he had hit the post. My husband and I did not think anything about it because they fixed the bumper. But this is a far cry from the wreck that really happened on 10/09/2009 that we were not told about. We found all this out because I was in an accident on 10/20/2011 this year. I was pinned inside this car for 45 minutes because the doors would not unlock. I had to be cut out of this car with the jaws of live. After I got out of the car everyone was surprised the air bags did not come out on the driver’s seat. I had the car taken to Ewing Buick for repairs because that is where I bought it from. About 3 weeks into fixing the car, we got a call from our insurance company telling us this car was in another wreck on 10/ 2009 we told them no because we had bought this car off the show room floor on 12/29/2009. Allstate pulled the VIN and said that it was in another wreck totaling $5600.00. My accident cost about $ 7700.00, replacing 2 doors and back fender on the left side of the car. I went to Ewing Buick on 12/28/2011 to talk to them about the wreck on 10/09/2009 and the General Manager was rude and said that they did tell me and my husband about the wreck. So I am now asking for General Motors to look into this dealership and how it is being run. They did not tell us about the wreck in 2009. I have now contacted Rosemary and she is willing to help us and tell that we were not told about this wreck at anytime. Also, I have Michael, the ex body shop manager, to tell everything about this car also. All I want is for Ewing Buick to make this right. I will get a lawyer if I need to and I will also have Channel 8 and 5 to do a little more on looking into this also if I need to. We are coming to them because we have always bought their cars and would want to continue.

I have so many injuries to my left knee, I cant tell you. Soon, as it heals up a little, I go in my husbands car, and hit it again. I tried adjusting the height and distance of the seat, but I dont want the seat to be way back, or someone adjusts it, and I forget to push it far back. I have never had anything like this with any car I was in, ever. I have a real dislike for this car, and I want him to give it back. The car would not change gears and if I put my foot on the gas it had power but no acceleration. When I took/towed it to the dealer, after their check, I was told they could not find anything wrong with the transmission, sensors, nothing...except the brakes!I was told I do not drive my car very much, 7000 miles in 13 months, and my brakes pads were sticking causing the sensors to be confused, and the car did not know what gear it was to be in so it stopped. This does not seem possible to me...however, I am not the expert. I do not want to spend $650.00 on an overall brake job and still have the same problem. I definitely do not want to be on the highway and lose control like this, no acceleration and no gears.

I really liked the appearance of their SUVs. They did not look big and bulky like some of the SUVs that offer a lot of room. I also like how easily accessible all the features were, and they were all easily reachable for the driver. I got my Buick used so it was mostly standard features and not upgraded or personalized. It took 2 weeks to speak to someone at customer service. She stated she would called me back within 3 business days. She didn’t. After 5 days I started calling her. I could not reach her. I left several messages over the next week and finally heard from a ‘Senior Care representative. She took the details again and said she would call me back in two days. She did not. After 3 I started calling her and leaving messages. I finally spoke with her after a few days and told her that I wanted to talk with someone higher up the chain than her. She said I could not speak with that person directly but she could. She said she would speak to him and then follow up with me within two business days. She did not. I called her and left messages. I finally spoke to her yesterday and she had this follow up information for me: the Manager she spoke with said I had been offered a repair at the dealership that was adequate and I chose not to take it. Because of that and the fact that this is not a warranty issue it’s not a high priority for Buick and they would not release a part from production for the repair. The part is on backorder indefinitely. We’ve owned 7 Buicks in the course of our marriage as well as 5 Pontiacs and a few Chevys. We build vehicles for the emergency rescue vehicle market. I can not imagine delivering a message like that to any customer. Buick, I am so disappointed in you.

After having it towed to the dealership, they told me that it was irreparable. When I asked Buick for help, they said that there was sludge in the engine which must mean I never changed the oil, which is patent nonsense – how would I pass inspection three years in a row with an unmaintained vehicle? Not to mention I had my service station pull receipts from as many oil changes they could find (7) and sent those as proof but they replied those were written in pencil and so are not valid. That is nonsense. But even still, I dug deeper and found another receipt, an original carbon copy on the yellow paper, typed out. They just ignored that, as they also ignored the OnStar system report showing a robust maintenance history with oil changes at about every 5000 miles. No matter. They closed the case. I still owe $15,000 to GM Financing. Why do they think Im going to pay it? I will get justice and have my credit repaired despite their evil tampering. And I will sue for damages too. And Ive started a Facebook Group for other people who have had problems with (what Ive come to learn) their notoriously awful, neglectful, careless, thoughtless, ignorant, unjust, and bullying customer service. This company should be gutted and replaced with a newer generation of younger executives who understand todays customer as well as the power of social media.**

This is the second Buick I have had, and if this one is as good as the first I had, Ill be driving it for a long time. Its a good looking car, and is extremely comfortable to ride in as a driver or passenger. The Lucerne has interior features that are what I use a lot, other than Bluetooth. I could do without that. The interior is leather, with wood accents. It also has the standard AM/FM radio with a CD player. Moreover I really enjoy the air conditioning, as I had no air conditioning in my 84 Camaro, other than windows and t-tops wide open. The body lines are nicely curved, and give a bit of a different flair to it than most others have. Overall, it drives beautifully, its really comfortable.

In addition there are plenty of seats, vents for air, and windows to individually control. All the electronics work and function for my needs with nothing I dont know how to use. However, Im not a huge fan of the blind spots in the car as Im sure design wise could have been avoided a bit more. I also wish that the car would have more cup holders in it. I believe there are only 2 for a car that is able to seat up to 5. Lastly, I wish my model had a truck door that could open and close on its own so putting bags and groceries in the car would be easier. Other than that, I like the size of the car being bigger to be able to carry lots of things and match equal in size to other cars on the road. I liked the fact that for a bigger SUV, this car gets great gas mileage as I drive long distances often.

The side windows fog up except on warm sunny days. The steering wheel radio channel changer does not function. The automatic climate control only works for the air conditioning. You can feel the car change every gear upon take off and slowing down. The passenger seat sometimes slides when the car is moving - it doesnt seem to lock into position very well. The back windshield needs a wiper because of the slant. Dust and rain obstruct the rear view at times. I had such high hopes. I am 48 years old and I have only owned two new cars in my lifetime thus far. The first was a Chevrolet Cavalier which eventually got repossessed because I had to spend so much money to keep it running. I only had it for 2 years before they took it. I was 22 years old then. The car was under warranty but the things that kept tearing up were not I was told by the dealership. Now another GM product with liars and what I feel to be a terrible car. Fortunately I dont have a car payment and it cannot be repossessed this time. I gave this car to my cousin to drive and I now own a new Honda Accord that I really like. I am PRO AMERICAN and bought a Buick for that fact and for the first time in my life I am ashamed to be an American because our businesses have no morals. From the dealership to the company. The Buick is a beautiful car with a huge defect. GM has designed and programmed the 6-speed automatic transmission to shift at over 5,000 RPM. At the high RPM, the engine noise is very noticeable. Perhaps the worst effect is that the high RPM sucks gas and the car gets nowhere near the advertised mileage. The Buicks engine has as much, if not more power, than the Impala so the high shift points are completely unnecessary. They will result in higher engine and transmission wear, and they are killing the gas mileage. I am seeing growing complaints from other Buick LaCrosse owners, but when I contacted Buicks Customer Service about the problem, they blew me off saying the car is performing normal. They wouldnt admit the other complaints, and refuse to discuss any remedy. When entering the highway and accelerating to highway speed, the transmission only uses three of the six speeds before reaching the speed limit. I choked when I heard the new Chevrolet Cruze TV commercial say, With the 6-speed transmission, it allows for lower shift points. If this is the way GM is going to treat loyal customers, then its time for me to check out Toyota and Honda. I dont know how Buick avoided the Gas Guzzler Tax with this vehicle. Someone must have lied to EPA.

They put it on national backorder and couldnt tell me when one would be available.After nearly a week, the dealer told me that they had made arrangements for a one-way rental which I would have to turn in when I got back home. They also told me that I could then rent another car until mine got fixed, and then they would ship it to me here in Maryland. They also told me I could submit the rental car bill to GM and MAYBE they would pay it. I decided to buy a new car instead, primarily because I had no idea how long I would be driving a rental car and there was no guarantee that GM would pay the bill. Now my brand new 2019 Encore is in the shop with a broken charge air plate. No idea how long it will take to get the part. Meanwhile Im in another rental. What happened to quality control??

Today is January 4, 2017. This car was purchased on November 29, 2016. His first payment isnt due till January 13. He called the dealership. They wanted him to bring it in the next day. I talked to the salesman. They got him a loaner car for Monday. They called me today and said there were no codes and they took it out to drive and everything is OK. Well its not OK for me. They have no idea whats wrong. The GM rep at the dealer told me the same thing Ive seen on other sites. No codes no problem it drives OK. Finally this car had 29 miles on it when bought it. Now has just under 300 and the first payment hasnt been made yet. My son is worried about driving the car. I hope this isnt a lemon.

I did some research and found that Buick has been problems with this issue. I took my car back to the repair shop and they looked and found that there was a special coverage adjustment for this. It extended the coverage for 10 years or 150,000 miles. They say they will pay for the expenses if they have already been done. I was told I was mailed a recall in 2014, which I did not. This was about the time I purchased the car used. The representative had my mailing address as MA not MS. Then said it was MS.Bottomline, they refuse to pay for it, saying my deadline was 2015 and I should have taken it to a dealer. I had no knowledge there was a recall (even though it had been in dealer earlier in year) and did not have issues until late 7/2016. If I did, why would I take it to a local repair shop. Guess the 10 year extension really does not mean the paper it is printed on. The local dealer would not even attempt to help with getting a refund, even though on page 14 it says they should help. Not please with the Buick family with my first Buick. Likely to be last due to this.

At 45K miles, she gave the car to me. 45-year-old male, perfect driving record, & preventative maintenance freak. At 48K miles, the transmission began slipping at various times & in various gears. Took it straight to dealer, the warranty was expired 6 months ago due to time, not mileage. The dealer charged me $212 to tell me the tranny was slipping (knew that). Said it would cost me $1,200 just to drop it & diagnose. Suggested I go with a GM rebuilt for $4,800. They said Buick would not help me with repairs or discount the parts, even with only 48K miles. I took it a couple blocks down the road for a $3,000 rebuilt tranny with a 1-year warranty. The bottom line is this was my last try with an American car. I have owned 10 vehicles: 4 Toyotas, 1 Nissan, 3 GM, and 2 Dodge. I still have 1 of the Toyotas with 94K miles & never a problem. I have never gotten to 75K on any of the American cars without major tranny or engine trouble. The opposite with the foreign brands, never any major trouble. Call it luck, I call it obvious & have finally learned my lesson. I will stay with Toyota for life.

However, it doesnt have on windshield graphics that tell you how fast you are going. We have that on our LeSabre, and its a real safety feature. I was given the run around about how that one light controls hundreds of components and that the dealership would fix it. The next day I was given the bogus excuse that because the area where my tank was located had been dented that I needed to replace the fuel tank reservoir because that was causing the problem. I took my car to a non GM dealer and was told it was something going on with my engine. I took my car back only to be told that it was my timing chain after I raised all kinds of hell about the erroneous diagnostics. After that repair, maybe a month later my car starts overheating and I was told that it was my water pump and that was going to be an additional $1200! I am so sick of this car that it is pathetic! I thought about trading the car in towards the purchase of another but with all the invested money on repairs, I feel like Im losing! I would never buy another Buick. I own a Lexus and BMW and have never had these kinds of problems. I love the body style and luxury of the car but the mechanical issues are too much for me. It seems that the quality of these parts are sub-par and below industry standards, just listen out for all the recalls that GM lists every month seems like! Imagine the other numerous issues that get swept under the rug only to be footed by the consumers. GM will lose a lot of its potential customer base with these mechanical concerns because anyone that asks about the performance of my car gets an earful thats surely able to deter them from buying one!

The Car drove sorta good. We bought it. That Sunday night drove it to work, we worked 3rd shift. The Monday morning got in the car, it would not go into reverse. So, I put it back into park and got the rpms up. Then put the car into reverse. It went in gear.The next day Tuesday got the tires rotated. The car had new tires on it. The guy at Melvins Tire in Murray, KY said, Bobby these wheels are bent. So, I called Jermany @ Taylor Automotive. And told them. They replaced 2 wheels. Then later on I found out the car had the wrong battery on it. I emailed Jermany and told him. I Also took pictures and got on GMs website and called GM to confirm if it had the wrong battery on it. Jermany told me that it was the right battery but later on he retracted his words and told me the battery would be there Tuesday. Then the car kept on not going into gear, so I called GM and they told me to take it to the dealer. So, I did.Taylor Automotive said there was nothing wrong with the transmission. Which 2.5 years now it still doesnt go into gear right away. The dealer told me that the new Buicks did the same. I have a 1977 Chevy Nova, it will go into gear in any position. I bought one other wheel because Taylors would not replace it. There is still one more wheel which is bent. They are 17 wheels. I have it documented @ GM that all this is true. I will never buy a GM product. I am going to send one of the bent wheels to GM CEO so he knows what kind of the cars that Taylor Automotive is selling, being a GM dealership. I have more for later.

And its still not working right, thats why I went out and purchased another Infiniti, I was going to buy another GM Yukon Denali but not after going through so much headaches. And recently I have the engine idle is working rough almost stalling, warning that engine power has been reduced, and the other day the engine would not shut off after taking key out of ignition, its like if it were possessed. This is a definition of lemon. Wont recommend this vehicle to anyone.

I had my fuel pump replaced, had to have my fuel drained, lines cleaned and because of the E85 gas I used Im still having issues. The dealership advised me not to use E85 again. GM has a bulletin out since Jan. 30, 2017 saying E85 is damaging these vehicles but REFUSED to help me when I filed a complaint. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM GM. They will not back up their product ESPECIALLY since this is a mistake on their part! I will be contacting legal help concerning this matter.

I have driven 2 other 2012 Lacrosses and no jerk, a 2013, a 2014 and just today a 2015 and no jerk. It is the car and this is just the start of problems. I just had a mechanic from a totally independent shop to ride in my car tonight and he felt the jerking. He feels that there are transmission problems and I was told by several mechanics that a jerk that can be felt so strongly is not normal. I will never own another GM vehicle in all my days. This will be the last one.

Theyre replacing the engine and that took a few weeks for the Buick dealer to get because there were problems getting the correct engine from GM. Then, when they installed it, it had a wrong part. The dealer had been trying to get that part from GM for weeks but no idea when they will get it. The dealer asked me to help by calling Buick Customer Service to escalate the problem of getting parts to the dealer. I have left messages every other day for over a week now and twice requesting a Supervisor but I still havent received a response from Buick. My car has been at the dealer a month and a half now, I have no car, no loaner, and still no response from Buick customer care. I recommend choosing a car made by a different company because what good is a warranty when they cant get parts to fix your car and nobody cares enough to return a phone call. Not a good company.

Cadillac had the ultra luxury space, so it makes it unclear exactly what Buick is going for. We purchased the LaCrosse and were very happy with the appeal overall. The color options were excellent and the curves were attractive. Overall the car had a modern, sleek, expensive look. Several personalization options were excellent, specifically some of the technology options. However, I feel that the Buick is lacking some of the more innovative safety features that other vehicles offer as options. While it doesnt have any huge passenger vehicles, it carries the popular and necessary options that carry between 5 and 8 people, which fits most families.

The sales person provided the normal sales pitch, but neglected to tell us the car he was selling to us have been used as a loaner to folks who brought their car into the dealership for service (it had 5,654 miles on it). By the time we found this out, we had already made up our minds, the car we just took out for a test drive was the one we wanted. This was just before the dealership was to lock up for the Labor Day weekend, and we were supposed to come back the day after Labor Day and complete the transaction, which we did.Day after Labor Day - after completing the paper work to buy the car, we left with the new car. After about a week or two of use, we felt the car rode very rough, and more like a truck than a car. Unfortunately, we had to leave town until after the Christmas Holiday season, so we let the situation go until after the first of the year. Sometime in January 2015, I started writing emails directly to GM. GM responded first by having me take the car in for a check-up to be sure it didnt have a problem, which it did not in their eyes. It then instructed the dealer to contact me to see what could be done.Feb. 25, 2015 - the dealership did ask us to come in, and I met with the sales manager who turned us over to the sales person who sold us the initial car. Since I had been told they would not change the tires, I asked what it would cost to give them the car back in turn for buying the same car, but move up one year and one model (i.e. buy a 2015 Buick LaCrosse model Premium) with a better suspension system. The sales person took what seemed to be an hour, and came back with a figure of $14,141.31 in addition to the $37,050 we had already paid (including my trade-in). To that we said no way and left the dealership. Feeling there was no way we could receive any kind of justification from the dealership, we left. This was 2/25/2015, and we stopped trying to get them to do something ever since. The car is a nice car, but it still rides rough! Even with a tire reduction in air pressure! We just flat-out gave up! Hereafter, after owning a Buick over 20 years and thinking very highly of it, I doubt seriously if I will ever buy another or even a GM car in the future!

Let me start by saying that up until now I have enjoyed my Enclave, and was looking forward to buying a newer model but after today I will never buy a Buick again. I got in my car Christmas Eve to go to work and found my headlight pointing down only casting light 10 feet in front of the vehicle. I called the dealership and made an appointment only to find out the entire headlight assembly needs to be replaced at a cost of $1753.00 that’s right almost 2 thousand dollars for one headlight, so I called corporate saying in so many words, Sorry youre on your own.You would think that a part as expensive as a new transmission might have the warranty cover such a ridiculously expensive part as long as the drivetrain. Alas no. So of course not knowing if the other one is going to go in six months I would not in good conscience ever recommend buying this vehicle due to the cost of just maintaining it’s drivability. Save your money buy the Acura with more power and reliability just for your own peace of mind when a headlight on the vehicle can put you in the poor house.

Electronic locks and windows, sleek, almost space time looking, nice four tires and rims, four-door sedan model with boot assist trunk for when your hands are full, looks incredible and we love it. There was plenty of room for 3 adults in back or 2 full-size car seats or boosters plus room in the middle for a third passenger.

I had to go into the garage to put something away and the fan was running from the engine. I thought that was strange as the car wasnt even hot. It shut off so I thought it was ok. About 5 minutes later, I went back into the garage and once again the fan started again! I opened the car door and my inside fan was blowing at high speed. I came in the house, got my car keys and locked the car. Now it isnt turning on. It concerns me as I know most cars a fan will run after you have turned it off but never have I seen a cars fan turn back on. Anyone have this issue?

I have a 2006 Buick Lucerne, purchased new and maintained regularly at GM dealership as per the maintenance manual. Last week of December 2012, a grinding noise was heard. My wife took it in to Highland Dealership in Aurora, ON and she was told after a thorough check up that there was nothing to worry about and she could drive it safely. Four days later, I took the car back to the dealership complaining about the same noise. Later on that day, they called me to let me know that the transmission broke down while they were test driving it.Again, the car was maintained regularly as per the maintenance manual at the GM dealership and they had flushed the transmission at 65K. The transmission broke down at 124K. I have never pulled or towed anything with the car. I was surprised, called in to GM Canada customer service to complain and was told by a manager that regular car maintenance at the dealership means nothing and will not elongate the life of the car. What had happened was an expected mechanical failure and is due to bad luck! Sorry, you are on your own and the dealership that repaired my car gave me an excellent deal and I should be happy. I just could not believe my ears and after all the expensive maintenance as recommended by GM at a GM dealership, it does not elongate the life of a car and GM Buick transmission is made to last only 120K?!

I was very happy with my purchase of my Buick. It has a variety features that were pleasing to me. Great mileage, interior, tires and great on gas. The Buick was a blue color, four door car, great rims, black interior leather with great stereo and speaker system, not loud, or clanky, no rust. Overall a great lasting car. Its upgrade included the very best of technology, everything is computerized and functions at its best at all given times. At least six passengers can ride in my vehicle. We all fit nice and comfortable and have enough seat room and seat belts for every passenger.

She hit a train trestle base. Since January we cannot pass inspection as they cannot figure out what is wrong with the car check engine light. After months. Its possible its the catalytic converter. Thats thousands of dollars. And part of a class action lawsuit as is the steering. Lets go GM. Give me another car or fix this one to my satisfaction!

We have a 2007 Buick with 25,000 miles on it and the GM engineers cannot figure out what is wrong. First we took the car to Richard Kay Superstore in Anderson, SC. They had it for 3 weeks, told me they called the GM engineers but never documented it. Gave us the car back, said it was fixed but the engine light came on within one hour driving the car home. Called the dealer back, they offered no solution, left us very disappointed. We decided to try the local Chevrolet dealer, Sonic Chevrolet in Walhalla, SC. They had the car for two months, replaced a number of sensors. Contacted the GM engineers, started a issue ticket with them. Sonic Chevrolet took the time with us and said if the light comes on again there are only two things left, one that will cost $700.00 and the other that costs $1,000.00. They said the engineers told them they have never seen this happen before.Well after two days the light is back on. Since we have already spent $1,000 on parts and another $650 on new tires. I should say we originally purchased the car new and always had it serviced by GM dealers and mechanics on a regular basis. We will be bringing the car back to Sonic Chevrolet in Walhalla SC. With this issue, one needs to ask, why would anyone want to buy a GM vehicle when the computer or engineers cannot find out why the engine light is on? Seems to me that if there was no computer you wouldnt need all of the sensors and there wouldnt be a issue with a engine light, and I wouldnt have had the car tied up for three months or had to spend the money on top of the regular service we had done.

You can add a lot of things to the cars. They have a lot customizable features and can even change the sunroof style. 4 people is good enough. Its a family car. I enjoyed their other features as well, such as power reclining seats and leather seats. You can purchase leather seating, and much more. I bought the 4G LTE Wifi which I use for business. It is very reliable and worth the extra money. They offer plenty of room and many ways to make extra space for added passengers. My sedan is very roomy and has no issues as far as space goes.

Thankfully not a worse injury than sore a few days. Last month, I turn the ignition over and the car wont start. I had to have it towed to the dealership to have a software update (really??). Yesterday, car made funny noise under hood. Dealership took it in all day to return it at end and tell me car needs 3 days work but need to come back. I want my money back. Wish I stuck with Toyota.

I have pictures of another Enclave in for service at the dealership that has paint missing in the same exact spots. Buick wont cover this, saying that its because we drive it on a dirt road. So, buyer beware... If you live on or drive on a dirt road - BUICKS ARE NOT TO BE DRIVEN ON DIRT... DO NOT BUY ONE. (Our Chevy Cruze and 2 different GMC Acadias that had 75,000 miles on it never had any paint missing.)
