2025 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo
Find big savings on Porsche Automobile(s) at Auto Helpers. Low Prices.
The 2025 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is the “utility-wagon” version of Porsche’s flagship electric sedan, designed to blend emotional, high-performance EV driving with added practicality and versatile everyday usability. It retains the brand’s sports-car feel while offering more cargo space, a taller ride height, and a more lifestyle-oriented design.
Key Features & Highlights
It features dual-motor all-wheel drive as standard (on the main trims) and a large performance-oriented battery pack.
Ride height is increased compared to the sedan version; an “Off-road Design” or “Gravel Mode” is available, which adds some capability for light off-pavement or rugged conditions.
The wagon/“shooting-brake” profile gives enhanced rear cargo utility and a more upright layout than a typical low-slung sports car.
Multiple trim levels offer varying power and performance: from the “Taycan 4 Cross Turismo” through “4S” and “Turbo/S” variants.
The cabin maintains Porsche’s premium feel: advanced infotainment, refined materials, strong build quality, electric-vehicle-specific tech (regenerative braking, drive-mode selection, etc.).
Performance & Powertrain Info
Entry trims deliver power in the 400-500 hp range, enabling 0-60 mph acceleration around 4.5 seconds (in the base dual-motor AWD).
Higher trims (4S, Turbo) boost power significantly—some approaching or exceeding 800+ hp in over-boost mode—resulting in 0-60 mph times in the ~2.6-3.6 second range depending on variant.
Higher ground clearance (~6-7 inches in some versions) gives a more versatile ride, and the “Gravel Mode” enables more confidence on rougher surfaces.
Rapid DC fast-charging capability is present: battery and architecture support high charging rates (e.g., ~320 kW) and the 800-V electrical architecture ensures comparatively fast top-ups.
Practicality & Interior
Seats up to five, with usable rear seats and a more approachable lifting hatch than a typical sports car.
Cargo space is improved over the Taycan sedan: more rear volume when seats are folded, and a front “frunk” for additional storage.
The taller ride height and wagon profile improve ingress/egress and everyday usability compared to low-slung sports coupes.
Inside the cabin: premium leather or vegan-friendly trim options, high-resolution digital displays, wireless smartphone integration, voice control, and driver-assist tech.
EV-specific features: regenerative braking, selectable drive modes (including full-electric, sport, off-road), and ability to plan charging/route from onboard system.
Strengths
Delivers a rare combination: luxury, sport performance and EV technology with added practicality.
More usable everyday vehicle than many EV sports cars—makes a good case for someone who wants excitement and utility.
Strong chassis dynamics: despite extra utility, the handling remains sharp and engaging, in true Porsche fashion.
Powerful charging and electric architecture: real-world usability for both daily driving and longer trips.
Things to Consider & Trade-Offs
The purchase price is high—premium EV, premium brand, premium features all increase cost significantly.
While more practical than a two-door sports car, space and cargo still don’t match large SUVs or three-row vehicles—so if you need maximum carrying capacity, there are better fits.
The high-performance trims will consume more energy and may demand more charging infrastructure usage than lower-power versions.
Ownership costs may be higher than typical EVs or mainstream SUVs—tires, brakes, insurance, maintenance of a premium brand.
Real-world range will vary significantly depending on wheel/tyre size, driving style, terrain and weather—so the large battery and high power are beneficial, but expectations should be managed.
Ideal Buyer Profile
This vehicle fits a driver who:
Wants a premium electric vehicle and places high value on performance and brand presence as well as utility.
Needs more versatility than a two-door sporty car (for example, occasional cargo, better visibility, hauling gear) but doesn’t need the size or cost of a full SUV.
Has access (or plans to) reliable home charging and possibly uses public fast-charging for longer trips.
Appreciates driving dynamics—but also values usable everyday comfort, practicality and flexibility.
Is comfortable investing in and owning a high-end EV with associated cost and premium ownership profile.

Buy Porsche Automobile 2025 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo
Porsche really shows why it's the best brand around: Amazing cars that will draw the eye of any onlooker, at great prices, and a very very solid post-sale support team. Truly superb!
I love the new 911! Have been a Porsche fan for many years. And personally own 2 911’s. True masterpieces of machines.
Amazing experience, even when buying from home due to covid! James Eadington in particular was a fantastic salesman. Many happy miles with the 718 cayman GTS!
This is a quick report as Porsche ownership is very subjective. Have owned an older Porsche Boxster since 2013, and must mention its easily the best car I have ever owed in 40 years. Mine's old, but its like an old race horse, it might be old but its still a race horse. If your lucky enough to own any Porsche, make the most of it whilst possible, before all vehicles become electric and loose their ability to excite the spirit and imagination.
Want to look good, and impress those around you with a car that's not only fast, but good looking? Look no further than porsche.
