The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover continues its reign as one of the most luxurious and capable SUVs in the world, blending refined British craftsmanship with modern technology and genuine off-road prowess. This new model year introduces subtle updates to design, performance, and technology while retaining the timeless appeal that has defined the Range Rover name for over five decades.

Exterior Design

The 2025 Range Rover builds upon the sleek, minimalist design language introduced in the latest generation. Its smooth body lines, flush door handles, and clean surfaces emphasize sophistication over flashiness. The signature floating roof and continuous waistline remain iconic, while new wheel designs and paint colors allow for further personalization. The front fascia carries updated LED headlights with more advanced pixel lighting technology, enhancing visibility and giving the SUV a modern presence.

Interior Luxury

Inside, the Range Rover remains one of the most comfortable and opulent cabins on the market. Premium leather, natural wood, metal accents, and even sustainable material options give buyers the ability to tailor the interior to their preferences. Seating configurations range from the classic two-row layout to a more versatile three-row setup, making it a luxury SUV that can also serve larger families.

Massaging, heated, and ventilated seats are available in both the front and rear rows, with the long-wheelbase model offering executive-class rear seating with extended legroom. Noise-cancellation technology built into the audio system ensures an exceptionally quiet ride, while the panoramic roof adds an airy, open feel.

Technology and Features

The 2025 Range Rover integrates Land Rover’s latest infotainment system, housed in a curved 13.1-inch central touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, as is a high-resolution digital instrument cluster. For audiophiles, multiple Meridian sound system options are available, including a 35-speaker flagship setup with immersive 3D audio.

Advanced driver-assist features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360-degree camera system come standard. For off-road enthusiasts, the Range Rover offers features like Terrain Response 2, All-Terrain Progress Control, and adaptive air suspension, which can raise or lower the vehicle depending on the driving conditions.

Performance Options

Under the hood, the 2025 Range Rover offers a variety of powertrain options to suit different buyers. The lineup includes:

Mild-Hybrid Inline-Six Engines: Efficient yet powerful, delivering smooth performance with the assistance of a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.

Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV): Offering strong electric-only range for short commutes while retaining gasoline power for long-distance travel.

V8 Power: For those seeking ultimate performance, a twin-turbo V8 remains available, delivering thrilling acceleration despite the vehicle’s size.

Upcoming All-Electric Version: Land Rover has confirmed a fully electric Range Rover, expected to join the lineup soon, though details for 2025 may still be limited.

All models come with standard all-wheel drive, adaptive suspension, and a suite of driving modes to ensure confidence both on and off the road.

Driving Experience

On paved roads, the 2025 Range Rover delivers an exceptionally smooth, quiet, and composed ride. The adaptive air suspension soaks up bumps with ease, while the steering feels precise despite the SUV’s size. Off-road, few luxury vehicles can match its abilities, with features like adjustable ride height, water-fording capability, and intelligent traction systems making it as capable in the wilderness as it is on city streets.

Pricing and Positioning

The 2025 Range Rover continues to sit at the top of Land Rover’s lineup, with pricing starting in the six-figure range and climbing substantially with higher trims, long-wheelbase models, and bespoke customizations. Its closest rivals include the Bentley Bentayga, Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and Mercedes-Benz GLS Maybach, but the Range Rover distinguishes itself with a stronger balance between luxury and off-road capability.

Final Thoughts

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover remains a statement vehicle, appealing to those who want the finest craftsmanship, advanced technology, and authentic capability in one package. It is as comfortable chauffeuring passengers through a city center as it is conquering rugged trails, making it one of the most versatile and desirable luxury SUVs on the market today.

Love them. And even all cars are test drives fun. I really liked the type of all terrain vehicle that this brand provided and hope again to buy another one sometime around the spring time test drives. The appearance is amazing. This car is very good for rough ground and mountains. There isnt so many upgrades on the Land Rover but its still a really good car for anywhere. Have already recommended it to many people such as my friends and family. The gold version is very hard to clean and I really dont recommend it to anyone.

I was very satisfied with my purchase. I also loved the salesman who sold me the car. I had it customized to my specifics and was very happy about it. I would not add any specific details as is looks great. Im very happy with the look of the car. The size of the car is very huge and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this car to others because of the size of the car. I really do love and enjoy it very much.

After 2 1/2 years of leasing my Land Rover LR4, my car began to die. It was towed to Larchmont Land Rover who were not professional and could not get me a loaner; although they offered to pay for me to go to enterprise, I refused. After a week, they were unable to find a problem and then finally said they put in a 2nd battery back up. About 28 days later, my car wouldnt start. Now we decide to use White Plains Land Rover; even bigger mistake because after changing the battery, we also needed a new halogen light which we were advised would be covered under warranty and then later was advised it wasnt and had to pay $200. I was shocked that the service manager wouldnt even go half with me since THEY misinformed me. In the end, he refused the service to me; he should have accepted his mistake and ate the loss but no, instead he was very unhappy that we never used them to service our car for things like an oil change; and why would I do that and pay double for an oil change when I can go anywhere else for less. HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE... I really enjoyed the drive and interior of LR4 but WILL NEVER AGAIN GET ANOTHER ONE!!

Wow, lot of issues with these Land Rovers. Apparently, I am not the only one. I have a 2015 Land Rover. Problems werent apparent when I test drove it, but they sure developed quickly after buying it. My issues are mostly nuisance electronic issues that the dealer has not been able to resolve... or isnt willing to resolve. The parking brake sets at stop lights and fails to release. The transmission often is confused on which gear it needs to be in resulting in over revving of the motor and heavy clunking as it engages. Radio reception cuts out on local stations that never happened on my other cars. Intermittent wipers fail to operate intermittently. The seat will inadvertently adjust fully down and back instead of to the default Memory 1 position. Sometimes it will randomly adjust while drive. One thing I busted them on early was odometer mileage. It logged 250 miles for a highway trip that MapQuest indicated 180 miles. Perhaps they wanted the warranty to run out as quick as possible. I noted this and reported it to the deal. They said nothing was wrong, but after it was in the shop, it recorded the mileage correctly on the next trip. Strange. Perhaps they are repairing more than they want to let on. The local dealer is now in denial. They tell me they cannot replicate the problem. As the owner, we should have the most credibility with our cars. We drive them everyday, but Land Rover doesnt see it like that. These Land Rovers have electronic bugs and programming issues and it appears Land Rover is hiding from them.

I got my first new Land Rover, a Freelander 2 TD4 manual, in 2011. I’ve read the stories, I know about the unreliability. Consequently, I was a bit surprised that it took 18 months and 50,000 miles before an engine warning light came on. Land Rover were out within half an hour, diagnosed it as a faulty sensor and got it fixed right away. At just over 2 year and about 75,000 miles, it came up with a message that there was a rear diff ECU fault which was quickly fixed under warranty. At 90,000 miles I passed it to a colleague who has taken it over 165,000 miles and counting and he’s needed a new rear diff and it’s first clutch. He’s still running it and has no plans to replace it. I don’t think that’s at all bad; perhaps all those who write one star reviews might see it differently?I then moved on to a 12,000 mile and one year old version of the same thing. Over the next year and 35,000 miles, it went about its business with just one odd fault - every week or so, the car would stutter for half a moment under power; nothing dangerous, or even annoying, just a characteristic really. I complained about it anyway and when Land Rover admitted that they had no fix, they made a generous offer to subsidise a swap for another FL2, but a top of the range SD4 automatic this time. That car was a complete gem and loved it to bits, without a single fault over the following 12 months/35,000 miles. However, I had a complete rush of blood to the head and stupidly traded in for a brand new Discover 4. Surely, this money pit had to be my undoing? Nope. The nicest car I’d has to date, with the only “fault” being squeaky rear brakes that were easily fixed. Unfortunately, Land Rover then introduced the nasty new Discovery 5 and I panicked. I had wanted to keep the Discovery 4 for a while, but decided to buy one of the last new D4’s before it was too late. Unfortunately, it was already too late. But, I did manage to trade my 1 year (and, you’ve guessed it) 35,000 mile old D4 in for a beautiful green 12,000 mile old D4 HSE Luxury...Which was very nice. However, after adding another 20-25,000 miles or so, it broke down. This time it was off the road for a month while they had to diagnose and replace a, very dead, high pressure fuel pump. It’s a big, body off, job to replace. Very expensive and very time consuming, no doubt, but why should I care? It was all done under warranty and they kept me in nice loaners too. When I spoke to Land Rover about the amount of time it took, they completely blew me away! They asked me what my dream Land Rover was and they then subsidised an extraordinarily large amount of money to make a top of the range Range Rover vaguely affordable and weapons grade “man maths” bridged the remaining gap!8 Months and 24,000 miles later, I’m chuffed to bits with my Range Rover SDV8 and wouldn’t part with it for any other car in the world. All being well, I’d like to hang on the this until well past 250,000 miles. In conclusion, the cars have been brilliant, the build quality has been superb and the reliability has been well up to the mark. Where things have gone wrong, Land Rover have been first rate and have gone above and beyond in restoring my faith in them. I have no wish to go elsewhere.

With our 4th Range Rover, a 2017 Range Rover Sport, the front spoiler literally blew off the front of our car on a trip. The car having less than 4,000 miles. Contacted the Range Rover Consumer help line, was advised I needed to get an estimate for repairs, and then Range Rover would then decide whether or not they would pay for repairs. I could see where this was headed, and contacted Corporate offices for assistance from a higher level. So far, I have left 2 messages; have not been given the courtesy of a return call from Land Rover North America Corporate. After spending nearly $100,000 for this car, if this is Range Rover and Range Rover Corporates attitude, my advice is to stay away.

One of the display screens started to blind on and off constantly and the other two screens were scramble. I also was receiving a message saying intelligent brake system not available. The service department performed a software update and changed a part. The day I pick up my vehicle from the service department the same problems started again maybe 3 hours later. A few days later while waiting in the valet parking line the truck just turned off while I was still in drive. This happen twice. Another visits to the service department for a software update again and I was told my battery was dead; so they charged my battery. As of 1/6.2020 my vehicle is back in shop again waiting for anther display and a part because now Im receiving a message say Forward alert not available. The dealer refused to give me another vehicle and land rover customer service has not return any of my phone calls. We spent 6 hours on the road and everyone was pretty comfortable. It is a good vehicle.

I bought my 1st Range Rover Autobiography in 2014. Good car all round apart from slow electrics and infotainment system while started on transmission at 40 000 miles. Range Rover would not fix it so I bought a new 2017 Autobiography. New car has much smaller fuel tank which I dont like. Park distance warning goes off when it shouldnt. Sometimes electric rear seats dont fold down or up. When in automatic the gearbox holds on to lower gears too long and the engine is revving too much. Infotainment screen goes blank sometimes. Bentayga is much better car but I dont like the looks of them.

I have the range rover. Its a very quiet ride and feels as if youre floating when driving. Its also very roomy, youre children will love you. It has absolutely fantastic leg room, plenty of room for the pet to come along also. You can also have a romantic evening with your date on the shorelines. They also include top luxury models but do be preparing to spend at least 50,000. The vehicles are beautiful though and well thought out. They also pay attention to detail and you have many options to choose from. Wheels, interior leather, wood trim, many different exterior paint color options and many options for engine. I prefer a v8 engine. They will last a lifetime if you have regular maintenance done.

This is a great car. The drive is safe and smooth. The inside of the car is detailed with everything needed except there is not one place to put sunglasses! For a car in this price range you would expect there to be a slot or compartment for sunglasses. The button for the trunk is in the worst place - never even knew where it was! Near your knee, under the steering wheel. And the button the release the hood is even lower. Very bad placement- The location where we take our Rovers for service Is located in Thornhill Ontario Canada. It is awful! The service department is unorganized and unreliable.

I have leased a Land Rover Evoque 2015 (new) - it has 92000 km and my lease is up Jan 2019. On July 14 the engine just stopped - I had it towed to a local mechanic. I wanted to make sure it was not just a battery issue (quick review) - I was told that the engine had experienced a catastrophic failure and caused the top of the engine block to blow off. I then had it towed to Metro West - where they just sat on the car for over two weeks- Always telling me that they are working on it with Land Rover. On July 27 I went into the dealer and demanded answers. The Service manager gave me a toll free number to Land Rover. I made the call and they had no record of my vehicle issue. It then takes Land Rover until Aug 03 - to tell me that if I went through them they would put in up to 3500.00 on repairs. They only want to replace with new engine (cost 18,000.00). Still they have not investigated why this happened. All service was performed, with the proper oil - there was no tell tail signs that there was an issue, the engine had the proper amount of oil. I have all records and photos of engine, plus a letter with a licensed mechanic opinion. On Aug 07 - I have towed my car from Metro West and brought it to my regular mechanic OK Hi Standard Tire. Through all this I have rented my own car - which I need to get myself prepared for a kidney transplant and work. I have asked Hi Standard tire to take all photos and see if we can determine what failed internally. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is a very unique vehicle. Runs smooth and has great electronics inside as well. Very keen to high speed and great performance. It has blue and black covering on it, has rugged tires, dim lights and great gauges. It has very sturdy, safety tested body as well. It has a great design of smooth texture interior, and has silk on the roof top and dim windows. I added hydraulics and blue lights to make it look cool and added cherry color to the top of the hood to give it my own unique design. It holds up to 6 people comfortable with ample leg room and great arm stretch, and it has a place to put ear plugs so passengers can listen to music. I would tell my friends and family about this vehicle because it gives off a great look and nice ride.

For everyone who owns a Land Rover, listen up! We all know that Land Rovers
For everyone who owns a Land Rover, listen up! We all know that Land Rovers are high maintenance! It doesnt matter if you have a 1990 Defender or a 2015 LR4. It will eventually fail in some way, shape or form! With that said, you have to treat them like gold. If youre one of those Soccer moms - with all due respect, that needs to jump in the car four or five times a day to run errands with the A/C blasting in the middle of the summer, then maybe this isnt the vehicle for you. Land Rovers are like Ferraris. You have to constantly be on top of them, know when the vehicle breaks before it does! Keep money in savings and always be prepared! With that said I recently purchased a 2001 Discovery 2 in mint condition! Only 111k on the OD. First thing I did was look under the carriage - Hmm, no leaks. Looked under the hood - no leaks. Everything was nice, clean and looked new! Checked the oil - it was so clean you could drink it! I thought whats the catch? Took it for a test drive. Ran perfect except for every stop I could hear the airbag compressor blowing air! Ok ,no biggie. I bought it. Next day drove it to work. Halfway to work, bam. Yep the three amigos come on! ABS,TC, and Downhill Assist. Ok, Ill check it after work! Kept driving about a mile - engine makes big noise. Check engine light comes on! Only for a sec then off. Hmm... Thats weird. Go about another mile - bang again. What the... Go about another mile, then vehicle just dies while driving on a heavy street doin 55 in a 45. Quickly, I pulled safely off the road into a CVS Pharmacy. Now late for work, I let it sit for a minute. Started right up - was able to get to work! Next day, took it to my mechanic who is really familiar with Euro cars. He happens to own a Jag! After computer reads 6 possible causes, we found a short in the crank shaft solenoid! $350.00 US later, vehicle ran fine! If I would have taken it to a dealer or Land Rover, it would have been about $1600.00 US and they probably would have fixed the wrong thing! I have recently put new rear airbags. Bought them online for less than $200.00 and had my cousin installed them. Now the vehicle drives like a Cadillac with no lights on! Now I know not everyone has a cousin that is a master mechanic especially owning three Toyota Land Cruisers and a lifted Samuri! But do your homework. Land Rovers are notorious for having electrical problems! If anything gets wet, corroded, dirty, do the best you can - always keep it clean, free of mud, dirt, snow etc... And I have learned if one little thing goes, it makes ten others go as well, so find out for sure if you can exactly what the issue is and then the others will probably disappear as well! Land Rover dealers especially will ** you for your money! And probably never fix whats really wrong! Good Luck and God bless!! Hope this helps.

Land Rovers Range Rover is classy looking, fun to drive and a gorgeous vehicle. There are top of the line options available and comes in several colors. I prefer the white, such an eye catcher. I am thrilled with the looks of this vehicle. They are also available in standard and upgraded models. The upgrades are well worth the extra expenses to add to this vehicle. I love the options of heated seats and temperature controllers. This vehicle has lots of legroom and can seat numerous passengers very comfortably. I love the way you dont feel like you are sitting jumbled together. Also, manufacturer is easy to work with during the sale and maintenance process. Its well worth the money it costs to purchase. I left the car running on my street with the door open while I got out to put my dog away. When I came walking back from behind the house the Evoque was going up the street on its own. If kids would have been in the street like normal they would have been run over. The SUV door hit my brick mailbox and stopped the car. When I got in the SUV the gear shift control was still in the Park position.I called Range Rover and they responded with a tow truck and took the SUV to the dealership. The dealership had it for a couple weeks with very little communication with us. Then one day called and said they could not replicate the problem and said we are pushing your Evoque outside so you need to make arrangements to have it picked-up and file an insurance claim. They said, you must have left it in reverse and gotten out of the car. As you can imagine I was not happy.Next came the repair. The auto body shop called me a few days later telling me that LR/RR said the repair parts were not in the US and it could take from 3 months to one year to get parts. I have been fighting every day with LR corp and still have no ETA for any of it. Seems crazy but I would never by a LR/RR again. Customer service is so bad and my wife will never want to drive a car that can drop in a gear by itself. She has told me to sell the car when we get it back. I am going to have to inform the buyer of the issue.

I bought a 1999 HSE from a guy in NW Houston. He was only too happy to unload this ** on me for $3300. It drives great, it blows cold AC, but since Ive had it, Ive spent nearly twice what I paid for it. First, the key fob broke. It cost $700+ for them to send me this ancient looking control two weeks later. The sun roof track broke. They told me it would cost $2800 to replace the parts. Later, it was $2900 for brakes and shocks, and then, the last straw was $3000 for the catalytic converter. The back story: On one of my wallet siphoning trips to RR North Houston, I had a head lamp reflector lamp come off and a fuel issue that caused my check engine light to come on. I paid $1300 for that, but the week later, the reflector came off and the check engine light came back on. They told me the code was new on the check engine soon, and to bring the truck in so they can see if I had done something to the light which is really only a snap in.Wait, what?! They told me that I had to pay almost $300 for a whole light assembly, but what they really did was snapped in a reflector? Range Rover has a monopoly in the city because not many people can repair them. They treat you any kind of way because they know people almost have to rely on them for service. That really sucks. When I left today to get my reflector looked at, one guy told me it would be in on Monday, June 25. Then I got another call that said it would be in in a few weeks. Im going to do my best to trade this vehicle in and for as long as I live, I never ever want to have dealings with the lying, cheating, stealing Range Rover or their product again.

I am a British Citizen, working and living in Austria. As such, I decided to buy a British car, a Range Rover Sport Hybrid Autobiography Dynamic. What made me choose this car was due to the fact the advertised fuel efficiency figure of combined 6.2 litres per 100 km. I ordered this car back in September 2015 from Austria, and got the car delivered to me in mid January 2016. I was very excited to get the car, however this excitement quickly turned into a nightmare the more I drove the car.Having driven over 9000 km since I got the car, I notice that the average fuel consumption is more like 12 litres per 100km, which is nearly double the advertised combined figure for fuel efficiency of 6.2 litres. Not only did I pay a premium to get a hybrid car, but also I will end up paying twice more for the fuel. I am thinking of getting in touch with news channels, my lawyer, and create website blog regarding what I call scandalous situation with great misleading information from Land Rover that made me buy this car, which fails to deliver on the fuel efficiency. I write as a last attempt to the Land Rover UK to see if somebody at Land Rover UK is willing to take some responsibility on this matter, to accept that Land Rover made a mistake with the advertised fuel efficiency figures for this hybrid car. Bottom line; what I am hoping to achieve is to be able to return this car, or Land Rover to take some responsibility in this matter, and compensate me for the losses I will incur say over 10 years of running this car (which I in detail calculated in the below email trail, and around 24K Euros).

I own a 2016 Range Rover Evoque. Three days after I drove it off the lot, the engine light came on. A call to their service center resulted in being told to drive it for a week and see if it resets itself. Well, a week later and it didnt so I called back. Within the time frame of the engine light and the servicing, the trunk wouldnt close properly one day (kept bouncing back up) and upon closer look, I notice the latch was chewed up from it forcing itself closed. The Evoque went in for servicing and came out with no engine light and the dealership telling me it had to go into a body shop for 2 days to fix the trunk latches, which apparently arent aligned properly (translation: they lack a proper QA process on their assembly line). A few hours after I got the car back, the engine light came back on. I called the dealership back and was told that the issue is part of a problem that Land Rover hasnt sent a fix for. Great. So since buying the car, Ive had the engine light on and the trunk doesnt close properly. It was scheduled to go in for servicing at the body shop today or tomorrow but the service folks wont tell me what day. I STILL cannot get in touch with them - leaving multiple messages results in nothing. No call back. Nothing. So I have no idea what is going on. And as if all of this wasnt enough, last week we had rain. Yes. Rain. But apparently a Range Rover doesnt like rain. At 2:00 in the morning, I was awoken by the car beeping twice every 10 seconds. I actually thought the alarm was going off, but unlocking and locking the vehicle didnt stop it. When I walked up to the car, the beeping stopped, but the trunk started to open and close, repeatedly, in the pouring rain. I had NO idea what was happening. A quick google search told me it was the sensors for the trunk, and that RAIN does this. Imagine that - RAIN. So I decided to back the car up as close to my porch to try to protect it from the rain, but this didnt stop it. Horn going back off. Its now 2:45 AM. I have an 8 AM meeting. My neighbors are telling me theyre going to take a ** baseball bat to the car if I dont shut it up. So when I approach it (within a meter) the trunk starts to open again, but because its so close to the house, it cant open all the way and then it BEEPS to tell me it cant and then closes. This is no joke. I cant even get off the porch to get into the car to stop it because the stupid trunk opening wont let me. I had to climb OVER the side of the porch and garbage cans to get off the porch (in the pouring rain in the middle of the night in my pajamas) to get into the car. Starting it stopped nothing. So I tried to tape garbage bags over the sensors to protect them - nope. Didnt work. At 3:00 in the morning, I had to drive my brand new 2016 Range Rover Evoque 20 minutes north of my house to an industrial area with no houses so it could beep to its hearts content. I was soaking wet, frozen and exhausted, and I sat in the car until 6:10 AM when the rain decided to ease up enough that the car would shut up. Then I drove back home, showered and went to work. Do you know what the dealerships response was? Remove the fuse for the horn. THIS is what they tell me to do. I drove my Mazda 3 for 7 years and didnt have a single problem with it. Ive owned this Evoque for 2 1/2 months and its been a nightmare. I expect the issue to be FIXED, or give me another damn Evoque sans issues. But dont tell me to drive with an engine light on and remove the fuse for my horn to solve problems. These should NOT be my problems to solve. Its BRAND NEW. So no - do not buy a vehicle because they have issues and the servicing and customer service is absolutely dreadful.

Its flat out amazing. The s and r series are awesome. They are of high quality and design. Also recommend the a series as they have back up rear cameras, automatic breaks and wifi. Outstanding. Every single detail is beyond perfect. The leather throws in luxurious class combined with state of the art tech. Also the paint finishes, tinted windows and turbo are grey. I got a wheel drive and traction emergency roadside assistance, first aid kit, concealed storage, gps tracking, beats audio system, and hyper LED headlamps. Also, most Rovers have a enough room for a small family of 5. Its roomy and comfortable for all to enjoy perfect for road trips and family outings.

The fact that they are endangering me and fiancée’s life by letting me drives a car that is seriously defective. Causes me to question the intentions of the companies risk management practices and their exposure in the event of an accident. I have made several telephone complaints throughout the years and have taken the vehicle in for various repairs but more importantly it is the engine/turbocharger issue that endangers my fiancée’s life when the vehicle is not operating properly. It will not accelerate and I will have to turn off the engine and restart the car. This is very unsafe and has been in the shop for over 44 days over a 24 months period. This was a brand new Range Rover Evoque -2013.As stated in the Motor Vehicle Warranty and Lemon Law we notified Land Rover of our intentions to have them buy back the car. Case Number #**. We began the request for a repurchase from Land Rover for the purchase or buyback for our 2013 Range Rover Evoque under the California Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. They feel that they be didn’t have enough attempts that make the value of safety of car worthy of this act. They did offer a goodwill gesture of $1500 however by offering the money; they are acknowledging that there are numerous issues with this 2013 Range Rover Evoque. After being in the shop numerous times for Turbo Charger/Engine issues, we again took it in for service again in February 12, 2015, we didnt get it back until February 20th, 2015 and it will still need to go back to the shop. Mile 29924 (7 Days). The check engine light is on again, and it’s lacking power, and is red lining at 6000 RPM before it shifts gears. Joe went on test drive with the technician and the service writer to show them what he means. The technicians stated to Joe with the service writer in the car that something wasnt right with the turbocharger and that the engine was working too hard which is why it was causing it to shift at such a high RPM, however the Land Rover agent, is trying to say it’s something else. In reviewing the most recent paperwork, I don’t see why it would take 7 days to fix a bulb, which is how the latest service repair reads, nothing about Joe going on the test drive, and showing the red lining of the RPMs before it shift. They stated in the service contract that it was the thermostat regulator is not performing, they needed to do an update. There is no documentation that was witnessed by the Service Writer and the Technician that Joe went on the test drive and showed them it was red lining in the report or the notes. Which leads me to questions how truthful and forthcoming they have been with writing all the other service reports in Land Rovers favor. In Summation - THE LEMON LAW AND WHAT IS A REASONABLE NUMBER OF REPAIR ATTEMPTSAccording The Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (beginning with Civil Code section 1790) we qualify for the lemon law and protection for a newly leased vehicle, when a dealer is unable to meet the terms express written warranty after a reasonable number of repair attempts, the manufacture is required to promptly replace the vehicle or return the purchase price of the lessee or buyer.SECTION (B-1) This is an UNSAFE vehicle and in the event I cannot accelerate through traffic or end up in an accident because of the poor quality of the engine and number of attempts to replace the turbo engine/charger is now going on its third repair. And it is currently back in for service repair again (February 12, 2015 5 days and counting) with the check engine light on. According to the mechanic that did a ride along with Joe **, it’s back in the shop because the engines is working overtime, and redline shifts at 6000 RPM, again making it unsafe to drive. The dealership since then knowingly put me back into a car that had numerous Turbocharger and engine problems and therefore doesn’t consider my life and safety to be a concern for them with this many engine attempts to fix a bad Engine/Turbocharger issue. If I get into an accident because of the lack of power/engine/turbocharger, and get T-boned by on-coming traffic and end up in the hospital, only then they would consider purchasing back the car? Or by then I could be dead, so then I guess they would win because they wouldnt have to buy back the car and just have a lawsuit on their hands for wrongful death.SECTION (B -2) within the first 18,000 miles or 18 months these problems are still happening and the same problem like engine/turbocharger issues where I cannot accelerate to move out of oncoming traffic can cause death or serious bodily injury, and has been subject to repair two or more times by the manufacturer! Are they waiting for me to get in a horrible accident and then I would qualify for the LIFE THREATENING incident?SECTION (B-3) The vehicle is out of service because of the number of repairs and problems this 2013 Range Rover Evoque is having and although the manufacturer has made a number of attempts, the car is still very problematic. This vehicle has a cumulative total of more than 30 days since the delivery of the vehicle; it is actually now going on 44 days and counting. Despite repeated attempts at repair by Land Rover Service, the 2013 Range Rover Evoque still remains defective and therefore there has been a failure and refusal to conform the product to its express warranty under the law.In closing, and just a personal question to whoever is reading this…in looking over the services records, would you let your 16 year old son or daughter drive this vehicle? Would you be comfortable buying this car from me knowing the service/repair history I have attached. Can you honestly say you would feel comfortable driving this car yourself?

In January 2012, we experienced a blow out on front driver side of our 2008 Black Range Rover, which tore up the wiring harness that was above the wheel well. Land Rover was unable to secure parts to fix the vehicle, namely the wiring harness, for seven months. During the seven months they had the vehicle, they had told us they would take care our financial costs to rent a vehicle during this time due to them not being able to loan us a car from the dealership. They have now refused to help with any of the $3,944 worth of expenses we incurred from renting another vehicle to drive during that seven months. They have been terrible to deal with and are liars. After dozens of emails and phone calls to them during these seven months confirming that they would reimburse the charges after the vehicle was fixed, they have basically now said they cant do anything for us. I will never ever purchase another Land Rover. Our insurance paid out over $18,000 to them to repair the vehicle and they still treat their customers unfairly. We couldnt be any more disappointed in this establishment - not only disappointment in their ability to secure parts in a timely fashion but also in their unfair treatment of customers. This is the first review I have ever written so you know the magnitude of our disappointment.

After owning this 2022 Land Rover Defender I have problems. The camera have a red box around the screen and my backup sensors and front sensors do not work. I have to bring in to the dealership but I’m on vacation in Cabo San Lucas for 4 months and there’s the problem. Won’t reimburse me on trip protection because the car is drivable. The closest dealership is 1056 miles away 1 way. Also there are a lot of noises coming from the driver headliner by the grab handle. If you pull down the noise goes away. In the back also there was a noise and I put some tape on the problem area and so far the noise has not came back. You would think on a $91,000 car customer service would help you out better.

Scary to say the least. We leased a Discovery Land Rover for 4 months ago, short before Covid-19. After 4 months with the milage of 2000 is broken down in the down town of San Jose, Ca, a huge city, on Wednesday evening at 8:00 pm. We asked for a roadside assistant and they sent us at 12:30 am, after 4 hours, came somebody and towed the car. On Thursday, the dealer said that, We are not able to start on fixing your car until next Monday!! We do not have a car and we can not do anything until Monday. We asked the customer service to help us. They are the worst respectfulness of the customer service, weve ever seen! They told us clear: We can not help you. We do not pay for any rental car. We do not pay for a second towing to the next available dealership. We do not get you any refund etc.The other dealer in the city has availability to fix my car as soon as possible, they have also some extra car to provide me during this time. But the customer service has to pay for towing and they wont to help their customer after they sold the car!!!! If you are thing for a car, do not go to for Land rover in the U.S, because you dont get any service, after you bought the car. They are only nice, before to sell you, but they dont accept any reliability after they did. It means, they are thinking only and only on their business to make money without any respect!!!

The car is amazing! Its very standard but I havent really had any problems with it so far. It helps me get to the places I need to go without a hassle. My mom loves it! The color has a nice feel to it. I would recommend others to try it out and see if they like it because its a very good car and I dont see many people with it. Its very spacious and when I need to I can store things in it. I can have up to 5 people in the car. Its a very reliable car. I have had to put new tires on it just to keep it fresh. Overall I havent had too many upgrades but I would like to change the color up just a bit.

I have written a review before on this site but this time after 6 years of being in court with Land Rover. I can now tell you everything what has happened. First I have owned 6 Range Rovers and up to the last one I bought from Lloyds Land Rover in Carlisle UK dealer. I had little or no problems with the cars. But then I bought a new sport HSE with the new Jaguar engine 3 litre. From the start this car was a lemon. After only driving less than 200 miles I had a fault when I was driving along it would pull up for no reason. The dash would light up with all kinds of failed components such as hill decent fail brake assist fail engine management fail gearbox fail just about everything.I would then ring Lloyds of Carlisle up and complain that the car has stopped again. This happened several times. I was getting sick. I had just bought this car at a cost of over 65 thousand pound of my very hard earned money. At that price you would think you would have no trouble. This was not the case.I told the garage that I wanted the car fixed so I was asked by Lloyds of Carlisle to take the car in and could I leave it for 3 days. I agreed to this. On the third day Lloyds rang me up and told me that the car was fixed and I would have no more bother with it again. This was on the Friday around 5:30 that weekend we used my wifes car as my new Range Rover had let us down so many times before. On the Monday morning I got into the Range Rover 30th November 2009. I was going to a site meeting at Lochmaben. This was the first phase of 30 houses we started for DGHP possible 5 thousand houses that was getting upgraded and I had a chance of that work. When I was driving the car just out of Lloyds of Carlisle I reached a speed of between 60 - 70 MPH. All of a sudden without warning the cars brakes activated and I came to an abrupt stop. I hit my head on the headrest. Also my left hand was pushed into the steering wheel. I did not know what had happened at all. It was so fast. At first I did think something hit me from the rear but when I gained composure nothing had hit me. The only way I could describe what happened was it was like an emergency stop. I was very angry. I rang the garage from the car and told them what had happened that I was rejecting the car. I did not want it anymore. When I got to the garage I told ** all about it. By this time my neck was hurting a bit also my left hand. Lloyds gave me a loan car and I was told that somebody would ring me later that day. I drove home rang the site gave my apologies told them what had happened that I would not be on site that day. As the day went on my neck got worse so I decided not to go in that week. I struggled on for about 8 week until my wife forced me to go to the doctors from that day. The rest was history. I was x-rayed and I was told that I had shattered my neck after 3 operations on my spine. I am now in a wheelchair and never worked from that day.I had to pay off my workers and close my company down. I lost out in a big way a contract worth tens of thousands of pounds. I tried to sort it out with Land Rover but it was a joke. I was offered 20 thousand pounds plus replacement car at no charge. To me I accepted the car but when that was delivered after about 25 miles it developed the same problem. I was so angry but when I phoned up Lloyds of Carlisle I was told that the problem had been found and had been recalled. It went in. I was told it had sensors replaced and software upgrade had been done. I sold the car soon after but that car before it had done 20 thousand miles the engine had blown up. I did not know about all the problems Jaguar Land Rover had with their cars. If I did I would not be in the condition I am today as I could not sort out some sort of compensation with them and decided to take them to court after the biggest cover up by Land Rover in court. They lied in court to win committed perjury. The judge also said to me that I was trying to besmirch the good name of a first class company. He was under the impression that nothing like I said went wrong with their product dont know if he got a new car out of it or not.All I know is that after six year it was a farce. The only problem is I dont have the money to take them to the high court in London. If there is anyone out there has similar faults with their Range Rovers give me a call or email me as if something is not done to sort out this company. Someone will be killed because of the cars they make. According to Land Rover nothing ever goes wrong with their cars? Email is ** phone is **. Feel free to call or email me. It would help. Thanks.

I know I marked Happy with RR Evoque because I love everything about this car. I just had a very unfortunate incident and after being on your website I noticed someone in UT had a similar incident. This one could have left me paralyzed, but it didnt and I just want answers. 2013 RR Evoque, parked in my driveway that is about a 1-2% incline. Placed in park, car was on, not moving. Went to check mail with door open, noticed back tire rolling back. Ran to car to try to catch the brake with right foot. Could not reach brake as momentum was building with car moving down driveway. Fell on back, tried to brace door with left leg and realized the car was in gear!! Car wish-boned my legs over my head and door ran over me. Car rolled across street into deep ditch, caught by two trees and was stopped. I hobbled over to car after two face plants into street as I felt hamstrings snap! I entered car, was in a little shock so I did not even look at or remember what gear car was in, I just put it in drive and it drove out.

Had excessive noise from engine since purchasing this from the dealer in 2014. Several adjustments made but timing chain never replaced. Chain slipped off and 7 cylinders are bent. Engine is a complete write-off. Wonder how much Land Rover will cover the cost. Should be a complete engine replacement given the documented history and regular oil changes. Love the power and finishes on the vehicle. Apparently the timing chain is a known issue according to mechanics that have worked on this model in the past.

Between Range and Land Rovers, theres a ton of options. Theres the Sport, Discover, and Evoque which are all different prices. They are very nice and easily customizable. You can customize almost anything. A popular route is the blacked out Range Rover, which looks very sleek. You can also choose from the basics - just color of leather and outside. The car is beautiful inside and beautiful outside! I love the look and feel of the cars. Great colors for leather and outside. It has very distinct look and you can tell they are Rovers. A lot of the cars have a 7 person capacity, but the back seats can be small and crammed. The front seats are full and luxurious, though, and could comfortably seat two petite people (not while driving though!). Its overall a great car and would recommend it.

Range Rover 2010 Sport - I love this car... Its like riding a baby pony that wants to go go go... I also own a Porsche 911 Turbo and as far as speed and agility go, the Range Rover cant be beat for an SUV. After reading some of the prior reviews, I agree that if you want to drive this car, you need to treat it like gold and have the $$$ to pay for consequences. Ive had my car in for several things that were covered under warranty but were a pain in the **. Make sure to get an extended warranty. It will pay for all the quirks and issues that definitely will happen. An oil change and tuneup will cost you upwards of $700 (warranty doesnt cover that!). And if you lose your key, be prepared to spend another $600. Im a mom with 4 kids and we all love this car... the status, the speed and the luxury... It comes with a price tag well beyond the $85,000 you spend on it though. I just had new brakes put on and another $1,900 later, am holding my breath until the next issue (maintenance or wear and tear) happens. Bottom line, this is an amazing vehicle... Land Rover needs to work on the high price tag, back charging after purchase and stop nickle and diming their loyal customers for literally everything.

Land Rover LR3 Defective Suspension Compressor - Diagnostics showed original part was redesigned and suggested replacement. Contacted Land Rover. They would not replace as it was out of warranty. I told them it was not a defective part, it was a part they engineered wrong which is why the diagnostic showed that part was to be replaced with updated part. After writing, calling, etc I gave up. So I had to have local repair shop replace as the closest LR dealer was 3.5 hrs away, so 7 hrs round trip, plus two nights hotel as they said they needed 2 days. Local repair shop cost was $1,300.00 using Land Rovers updated part (dealer wanted $1,600). Land Rover does not stand by their product. Yes, vehicle was out of warranty, however, I have since learned that others have had the same problem. When I spoke with their dealer, they stated, yes they have had to replace many of these. So if you buy a Land Rover, and they have a known part that will fail eventually due to their poor engineering, you better hope it fails in warranty period.

Bought a new 2012 Evoque in August if 2013. Early on had a bunch of minor issues (pillar molding making noise at speed, headlight issues, etc.), but loved the car beyond all that (Colima Lime, just the color alone made me smile). About 2 months ago, at 82,000 miles, the engine cut out and could not get it restarted. Thought it was a battery issue and had it towed to a mechanic friend of mine. Within an hour he told me that it was a failed timing chain and that a new engine would be needed. I contacted Land Rover to see if they would cover this even though we were out of warranty. I was instructed to take the car to the closest dealership for inspection before they would even consider the case. It took 5 weeks for them to diagnose the problem as a broken timing chain, but still could not tell me the cause. I provided LR with all the maintenance records. Another 2 weeks went by and they declined to help. When I asked why, I was told that I did not maintain brand loyalty by getting oil changes elsewhere. That has got to be the lamest excuse I have ever heard. It was never a money issue because I always used the highest quality synthetic oils and did oil changes about every 10K miles vs. the recommended 15K. The nearest dealership is an hour away and it’s not always practical to go there. Besides, I have had many vehicles with 100K+ miles on them and did oil changes at the most convenient place, rather than the dealership...never a problem. I am now stuck with having to pay almost $16K for a new engine and the gentleman who declined financial assistance is not willing to even speak with me to give me a better explanation than oil changes not at LR. From reading all these reviews, there does seem to be an issue with the Evoque engine, as they tend to fail right about the mileage mine failed. And from what I read, some of these people even serviced the car exclusively at LR, so it’s not the aftermarket oil & filter BS. Its not even the money that gets me upset, it’s the complete lack of customer service. I mean, it’s $16K...thats the cost of a new car. Couldnt someone take a few minutes to call and explain why they arent willing to help. I am not giving up...gonna try to reach as high as I can, maybe even the company president, or just go screaming to the media...who knows. If anyone has had luck getting to some higher-up, please contact me. Perhaps as one of the posters said, might be time for a class action lawsuit. The bottom line is that they lost a customer. We were about to buy a Range Rover Sport, but thats not happening now. I should have known better to start with. Land Rovers have always had a reputation for being a beautiful car which was extremely poorly built.

I bought my 3rd Land Rover in 2017 after a long hiatus (after issues in 1998/2003). Almost immediately the infotainment screen began blacking out and rebooting all the time. It took 3 days for them to update this, it worked a bit better but it was not perfect. Whenever I called in for service, they would ask me if I was SURE I wanted to get it fixed (like, are you SURE you want to wait for how long its going to take us) because they dont have loaner cars, and the technicians are slow to get to issues. This was April 2017. Forward to December. I am driving out of my neighborhood (I am at 5500 altitude) and I accelerate aggressively to get around an 18 wheeler as I am getting into high speed traffic coming down the mountain. My accelerator pulls from my foot, is flush with the floor, and tips at 85 mph with the RPM gauge redlining at 8000. The car is wobbling and shaking, I have zero control of it. I press the brake several times pretty hard/gentle and it finally pops out. I never drove the car again. (Note, the service person had the audacity to ask if I was sure I wasnt accidentally driving with both feet. Right. 1st gear at 8000 RPM. With my right foot on the brake. Yeah). Car was towed back to the dealership where I got it, 500 miles away, they offered me a decent trade amount, I trade up to a Supercharged regular Range Rover, with a hefty price tag. They put this car above back out on the lot for sale a few days later. The new car has issues almost immediately. The steering wheel jerking into left and right lanes at high speeds out of the blue. Techs said, Oh disable your lane assist. So I did that, no help. I almost was jerked into an 18 wheeler on a curve on a highway in the rain the next day going 65mph. Then they say, Oh, disable your blind spot warning. I did this as well. Of no help. I go in and uncheck the driver assist for both options, and it seems to help some. Then of course the black screen starts its visits, rebooting in the middle of driving or not coming on at all. Bluetooth calls dropping. The gear shift dial sticking (cant D to R or R to D or P) and with the computer rebooting randomly, coming back on during driving, all the cameras go nuts and start making sounds all over the place until it realizes that the car is actually DRIVING now, not trying to park. The dealership refunded my money for this one. I am forever grateful for that, they did step up. They did imply that LRs were more for appeal and looks and status than reliability and dependability. They say, its a great car if you are ok with being in the shop, even better to live near one. I got a GMC Yukon Denali yesterday. Its amazing, and my breakup with Land Rover is complete. The accelerator incident was one of the scariest events of my life. I am not a panicky person, but I had nightmares for weeks after that one.

I purchased a 2015 Land Rover LR4 HSE LUX in December 2014. A couple weeks later I started hearing an intermittent high-pitched sound from the dash. I have not been able to pinpoint what causes the noise. It doesnt matter whether or not I have the heat or AC on. I have had the car back to the dealership several times, for weeks at a time. They have admitted there is a problem, but they have not identified a fix. They have told me 3 other customers at my local dealership have the same complaint, but they have no answers. I have been in touch with both Land Rover North America Headquarters and the BBB. I have tried to evoke the SC Lemon Law. I have been told the noise does not qualify because it is not a safety issue. So here I am with a very expensive car that makes an obnoxious high-pitched noise and I can do nothing about it. I have never been more frustrated!

I have had my 2015 Evoque for 60 days now and we just picked it up from our Land Rover dealer service for a gearbox fault (I will get more into that shortly). On the way home on the highway, the car lost power in the fast lane, basically shut down and give us the same gearbox malfunction code as before. My wife and 6 year old child were in the car with me when this happen. Cars behind me had to slam on their brakes because my Evoque was slowing at a fast rate and I had no power to get out of the way. Luckily there was an opening in traffic for me to pull into the side of the road. The same thing happen last week when my wife was driving my son to the doctor and A SEMI TRUCK NARROWLY AVOIDED RUNNING INTO MY WIFE AND CHILD BECAUSE OF THE SAME ISSUE! My wife doesnt want this car, I dont want this car, I feel like my family is not safe in it anymore and I honestly dont know what path to take.I love(d) the Land Rover brand and weve owned an LR3, LR4, and a Range Rover Sport. We were excited to experience this vehicle and it has led to nothing but heartache. I believe Land Rover owes me a new, safe vehicle. Especially after being a loyal customer for the last 7 years.

Memphis, Tn. Bluff City Range Rover. Very dissatisfied!!! Drop my vehicle off to get some repairs done on July 10, 2019 for (REPLACE BOLTS/RESEAL EXHAUST LEAK. I received a phone call from Mr. ** my service rep. (very nice guy) on July 15,2019 informing me my car was ready for pickup, he also stated that they find another leak that’s going to cost me 4,953.32 total for a new (TURBOCHARGER) after 5 days with my vehicle. Only with 104,000 miles on my Range Rover EVO 2014. I ask ** why they see this when I got the diagnostic done. (Paid 150.00 for diagnostic) I was told to fix the problem that it would only cost me 527.98. At this point, Im like, Are you serious sir. Ok I get to the dealership to do the test drive with Mr. Mike ** on July 16, 2019. While I was driving my vehicle didnt sound no different than when I dropped it off.I ask Mr. Mike why do Ive pay for something that I to still take it to somewhere else to get repairs done? He said, “Let me check on this for you. Because you shouldnt have for the service.” Mr. Mike was very courtesy. By this time a hour has pass by, then Mike approach me again stated his district manager said that I will still have to pay for the service, due to the labor. Wow! Why paid for something that the same problem that you stated you would repair, that’s still not fix. REALLY! 2 hours has now pass by, I ask to speak to Mr. Dennis **. I went into his office and ask him why pay for something that’s still not repaired. Mr. Dennis said in front of me and Mr. Mike because of the labor and also they find another leak, once they got to the part on my vehicle. He once said again the guys has to get pay for the labor time. But my vehicle is driving with the same sound from when I dropped it off.I told Mr. Dennis it sound like you more concerned about the money than the situation and not the relationship as a long time customer. Why pay for something that you didnt repair? At this point I said a few words to him, paid and went on by way. Very horrible situation. Mr. Dennis had not concerns at all. Very Rude in the way he spoken to me. His main focus was money/labor! Ive begin coming to this location since 2015. No problem at all with customer service. It was a COMPLETE RIPOFF. I wonder how many people get ripoff daily here. 2 hours 30 mins and he took my money with a unrepaired vehicle. Spoken to several of mechanics. They said to me this doesnt sound right at all. I dont think this is a bad place--just a HORRIBLE GENERAL MANAGER. Mr. Dennis rob me with no mask on!!! Fighting now to get my funds back. I pray you make this right. Upset & disappointed

I am a student in the United States. I wanted to purchase a car from the local retailer in Richmond, Virginia. They refused to sell me a car just because I am a student but I felt it was a race discrimination. They kept asking me from where I am getting my money. I wanted to purchase a car for my own use while I am here in the United States for the duration I am studying. They started asking me personal question like from where will you get your money. For the past three months I have not gotten an answer from them. I went to visit the dealership again but they asked me to provide a 6 months bank statement. I am not sure why would they want one since I am not financing the car (I cant get a finance since I am an international student). They have been giving me a really hard time. There is no law within the United States that would prohibit me from purchasing a car. I currently own a jeep and would really like to add a Range Rover in the family. I hope I can hear from you soon and help me out with this situation.

I have been in love with my 2013 Evoque up until about 65K miles when a belt had to be replaced for $2,000. I let it slide. Now at 70,000 miles, I need a whole new engine. The fourth cylinder no longer has compression, so it is only running on three cylinders and cannot be driven. I have kept up with all regular service and have taken very good care of this vehicle. The dealership is unable to offer any sort of explanation or concern as to why this would happen to an engine with only 70K miles on it. A new motor is estimated at $15 to $20K. As much as I loved driving this vehicle, I thought I would be a Range Rover customer for life. Never again.

Have a Range Rover Sport- bought in August 2014. The car is 6 months old. The car door handle has fallen off. Range rover claims it is not a warranty problem. Poor customer service. A high end vehicle like Range Rover should stand behind their product. A car that is 6 months old should not be missing a handle!!! Nor should I have to pay out of pocket to get the handle replaced as it should never have fallen off in the first place. Dealership told us they have had numerous cars come in with this issue. A defect in the car??? Maybe Range Rover should stand behind their product and not tell customers that its a wear n tear problem. Not when the car is NEW.

I ordered a new 2017 Range Rover Sport. I waited over four months to have what I thought was the car of my dreams to be built. The day after I took delivery, I was back at the dealership because the navigation didn’t work. My car has been into the service department 7 times. Initially, the car would alarm when getting into it, saying the car was not put in Park. I took pictures to show the car was in park each time, but would sound off when I would get back into the vehicle. This was ultimately resolved with what they said was a software update. I have an iPhone 7 that works all the time, including with my 2008 BMW. The phone does not consistently connect to the Bluetooth. A call will go out or come in, but neither person can hear the person on the other end of the line. The navigation does not connect. My last time in, I was told it might be my phone. There was nothing they could do. Software was up to date. This was after the entire Infosystem has been replace for the phone not working, the media not working, the navigation not working, and the entire screen going black for no reason at all. After contacting Apple, they confirmed my phone is not the issue. After countless trips to the service department without resolution, I requested Land Rover buy back the car. Even though they have at least 6 service records, they replied they have looked into it, and my car does not qualify, without a real explanation. I have now submitted my complaint to the BBB. I cannot imagine a luxury 2017 vehicle is not compatible with a phone that’s a year or so old. It works perfectly fine in every other circumstance, including the Bluetooth in other vehicles.

We decided to buy our son an Evoque last year as a graduation present and he has encountered problem after problem. All in all, the car has been into the dealership over a dozen times and has been off the road for the best part of three months within the year. This was not what we expected and decided to complain to Land Rover customer service teams, as advised by the dealership. We might as well contacted the Ministry of Incompetence - though polite and said the right things, at no point have they actually looked at this from our perspective, let alone do anything for us. We cannot get hold of the directors - who are faceless and do not want to know about the inadequacies of their products and after-sales teams. Finally, after receiving advice, we have had to start legal proceedings against the dealership who sold us the vehicle. Land Rover do not even seem to want to support their own dealerships. We strongly advise anyone that is thinking of purchasing a vehicle from this company not to do so. Extremely disappointed with all aspects of this manufacturer. Best of British - I think not.

Theres a lot of colors and styles to choose from. Its well built and has shiny paint, nice seats and dashboard. The setup of the whole vehicle is very stylish and comfortable. It has matching colors and easy to read. Also has bright lights in and out. The clock works and can be read easy. I love the radio, too. The windshield is perfect and clear, and powerful wipers. Also, the back up, brake and headlights are strong. There is enough leg room for all my long legged passengers. There is enough seat space to be comfortable, and can even carpool. You can customize it in anyway they have available. But I wouldnt change too much of the vehicle from its already amazing design. Simple and up to date is best. I bought a 2015 LR4 in March, and thought I would share some information with prospective buyers. Land Rover USA has admitted that there is a problem in the air conditioning system of the 2015 LR4s, a problem that causes a high pitched whistle to be emitted from the dashboard area whenever the air conditioner is on (as it often is if you live in Texas). Land Rover says this is a characteristic of the 2015 LR4s, and have offered no fix for the problem. If you are considering purchasing an LR4, I would seriously reconsider, until Land Rover has a fix for this issue. Though the dealership has tried, they have been unable to fix the problem, and my car has spent over 40 days in the shop since I purchased it.

Hi. We bought a brand new Land Rover Discovery 2018 last year. Every month has been in the shop for some repair (back seat broken, upper arm left broken, next month upper right arm broken, wire in the control panel not connected after some repair, hood not opening, radio not working and more). Every time it take 3 weeks to have an appointment or more if you need a loaner car. Today I called and the next appointment for my car will be December 12 but I am going in vacations so not before January 12 2021 now. My problem on top of it is I am living in the mountains and the loaner car will not have any snow tires so I am pretty sure I will not make it back home again. I am so tired of the service. I want to sell my car but I cannot do it until my car is fixed.

In August of 2017 I special ordered a Range Rover Sport diesel. In 20,000 miles I have had in for service (only required once at 16K) on 5 different occasions. While the Dealership is fine, the car isnt. Its what I would call a major disappointment. One of the selling points for the car was the fact that it needed servicing only every 16,000 miles. What they didnt tell you was the car needed to be brought in approximately every 4,000 miles to have diesel fluid installed. Each trip to the Dealer takes about 2 hours to install the fluid (approximately 15 liters). This is the 5th diesel car that I have owned and the FIRST that would not make it from one service to the next without. In addition there have been 3 major software updates on the car since I have owned it. The bottom line is the car is overpriced and a pain to own. It is my first and my last. It is not a very reliable vehicle and certainly a headache to own.

My cars headlights is broken and I was trying to get an appointment to get fix. I was told that theyre busy and a service supervisor will call. I waited all weekend but never got a call from them. I called again but told me that the earliest appt they can give me is July 3 which is about 3 weeks. I explained it to them that I need it so badly because this is my only way to get to work but Jenny said that she cant do anything earlier than July 3. For just a headlight, I need to wait 3 weeks!!! My car is a lease and I dont want anyone to just fix it and will end up messed up. And besides, when they were doing the sales talk to convince me to get a car from them, the sales rep advise me that for any problem its better to bring it to them, that they have the best service. Freaking BIG LIE!!! Land Rover has the WORST SERVICE EVER. I use to have a BMW and this is the BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER to switch to Land Rover. The features and appearance are one of the best things about a car, and the fact that you can get the possibility to design your own car is amazing and it seems pretty cool being able to upgrade your vehicle/car. It has space for the whole family but it would really depend how big the family is. It can fit in any normal family at 4-5 but not really a family of 8-9.

The brakes wear warning came on at 27100 km. I drive mostly highway and I am very light on the brakes, so when I saw the warning I ignored and thought it is false alarm. A week later, light disappeared. Drove for another week, warning brake light came on again. Kept driving, but the light stayed on. By that time I had 28000 km, so I decided to take it to my local garage and let him check the brakes.I was told that the rear brake pads are completely gone and rotors were rusted, so I asked if this is normal and mechanic answer was NO WAY. He explained that the front brakes do most of the work and to have rear brakes completely worn out is extremely unusual. He went on to say that they must have been faulty brakes. I called the dealer which is Thornhill Land Rover and talked to the service manager Sandro who told me that this is normal and depends on my style of driving, in other words SOL.I called Land Rover Canada after spending 20 min on the phone with some dim light lady. She decided after consulting with someone else that it is wear and there is nothing they can do for me. So I am sorry to say that after driving BMW for 15 years switching to Land Rover Discovery 2016 was the biggest mistake. My previous BMW all of them I drove to 65000 km and never replaced or seen brake lights come on. For all of you who are thinking or considering buying this car save your money and headache and stay away. Its a lemon and neither the company nor the dealers care.

Months ago we purchased a new Evoque and drove out to Death Valley for the Thanksgiving vacation. Running on the dirt road was very enjoyable till we had a flat tire. Well, flat tire should not be a problem at all since this is a new car and there is spare tire. The real problem happened when we noticed that the wheel has the special lock key bolt, and the car does NOT equipped with the tool to take off that special bolt! And there is no cell phone signal and we could not make a help call! The following time in that day was quite long. We were not able to change the spare tire, had to stay in the desert, waited from morning to afternoon till a car passed by. The gentlemen helped to carry me miles away where we could eventually make the call to road service. The truck finally came in after it was getting complete dark. We were carried to Las Vegas which has the Land Rover dealer. The next day was Thanksgiving so no one work. We had to wait one extra day before the flat tire can be fixed. We finally came back home safely. But the small mistake and the missed tool has given so much trouble and made the vacation such an unpleasant experience. And a complaint sent to the dealer, received no response at all till today...

Excellent stereo systems come standard and the air shocks that were on the car provide a awesome ride. Theres a leather interior, and plenty of plug-in ports for phones etc. And the sun roof/moon roof is great. Theres no option on the phone menu other than for Takata airbag recall, and if you wait in line, it loops you back to the menu again. I was able to get a rep by hitting the airbag option, who told me they knew nothing and called the dealer. A call to the dealer yielded no information as they knew nothing either. The dealer said, We got a letter too but dont know any more information.. The trouble is I dont want to be at the end of a list with 50k other cars on it to get this problem fixed. I called the dealer and was asked to drive to dealership for a checkup. My dealer (Encino CA) is 26 miles away, so I decided to drive to Pasadena Land Rover (1 mile away) for a quick checkup. Then, out of nowhere, my car stalled 4 times in the middle of road on the way to the dealership. I almost got into accident because the car stalled while I was turning in an intersection!Once again, my Range Rover stalled at dealer’s parking spot which happened to be at an incline. The car (switched to?) neutral and I began to slide backwards. Although I was screaming for help because I was losing control my car, the service guy took his sweet time. He nonchalantly told me to keep pressing on the break. However, because of how heavy the car is and I was stationed at an incline it took a considerable amount of strength to press the break in order to make sure the car stayed still. My foot was holding the break for five minutes before the dealer finally approached me. I almost lost my strength to hold on break because my foot was shaking from the amount of force I was using to push the break. I almost attempted to press the panic button.Instead of driving a brand new car, I felt that I was driving some 50-year-old car. Even with its advanced safety features, the system still failed me and I could have gotten into a fatal accident. No one should have to deal with these issues, especially if the car is brand new and you have only driven for a couple of days. Overall, the Range Rover Sport 2017 is an unreliable car and Land Rover has bad service. Don’t buy this car or any cars from this company.

Land Rover makes a variety of models, Range Rover included but pricier. There is an LR2, an LR4, different sports varieties which depends on the style you like and your personal aesthetic towards vehicles. Land Rovers were first described to me to be an all-terrain vehicle that can handle a variety of weather conditions. Some have a roll feature on top in case the vehicle were to roll, most are more square in appearance and have the inside of a sporty luxury vehicle. Land Rovers and Range Rovers both have upgrade features that many other car brands have as well and most vehicles have the ability for seat options greater than 5 people which is great for large families or people needing the extra space for traveling, off roading, camping, etc. Loved the Land Rover but expensive to maintain.

The variety of the car is straightforward. It is good at travel on the land and road. Its a family car that is easy to drive and have a four load that can hold four people for great outings and road adventure. Great for trip where you want to get away and enough room to hold your stuff. This car has it all. It comes in a lot of different colours that and four gear steering, a leather seat that hold against the weather that nature bring plus a GPS that tell you where you need to be. It has a radio of the high variety.

I bought a Range Rover that was pre certified with factory warranty and within just 8 months the Letters on the front and back of the car, as well as the hood vent and one light grill started flaking off, fading and turning different colors. I identified that this has been covered in the past from other dealerships but the dealer (South Bay Land Rover) and the Executive Liaison Peter **, were not helpful at all. I asked numerous times to speak with the CEO Ralf Speth to resolve this minor issue but Peter was unable to make that happen, as apparently customers are not important enough for him (the CEO) to call back. I did not want to go to Social Media but our experience has to be known to all so you can judge what company you want to do work with.Buyer beware when thinking about a vehicle from Land Rover as that are not good for their word (they werent for me) and they treat people differently. At the dealership and Company level I have been discriminated against and the dealership has a used car situation which this experience I will be posting soon on Social Media as well. This was such a minor issue for them and easily to fix but they chose to treat me differently than others have been treated and I just want to share my experience with you all. Think before you buy as the relationships with dealerships and companies make all the difference. Best of luck to you.

Weve always had a Range Rover in the family and change them every two or three years. This one is a 3 litre diesel HSE with a few extras like air conditioned seats, a fridge in the console, self close doors and of course a tow bar which on this new model is electrically retractable. As all the others weve had no problems other than caused by a moronic parking scam in Spain damaging the electronic brake trying to drag the vehicle away. Land Rover were brilliant, arranged for it to be taken into dealer and repaired under warranty even though it wasnt their fault and we had a free hire car for the 4 days it was in the dealer.

2012 Range Rover Evoque - I purchased this car in September 2017. Shortly after, I noticed the interior of my car smelling like gas. When I brought the car into my local Land Rover dealership for service I told them about the constant odor. Unfortunately they said they did not smell it. About a month later I brought it in for service and told them the problem still existed, once it went unresolved. So now I have it back in for the same problem, and I hope that someone resolves this. This strong gas smell is literally making me feel sick, anyone who gets in my car notices and they dont feel safe. My problem is that my warranty ends in days and I do not want this to now be a huge problem for me. Has anyone ever had a similar experience? Help.

They started talking about new brakes before I picked up my 2016 Range Rover HSE w TD6 from the first service at 16,000 miles. For RR brakes are a large expense and as youd imagine they dont recommend changing the pads alone but, rather, pads and rotors always. Sure. The RR is a heavy vehicle. Others such as Ford and others design heavy commercial trucks with reliable braking systems that do not require this type of maintenance. For me, I consider the mention of brake replacement when current brakes measure plenty of life left to be nothing short of the dealer set-up priming you for a big expense down the road. Same thing happened on my previous Sport. Then I carried to a reliable repair shop who replaced rotors and pads for $880 compared to the then-$2200 quoted by RR dealer. So in the end owner sat is heavily influenced by the dealer and their ethics and response to issues. Read other reviews. The vehicles are solid, beautiful, functional and smart. Some of the dealers arent. Beware. Choose your dealership wisely.

Updated on 01/23/2020: Leased brand new 2017 Land Rover Discovery HSE TD6 AWD. Family of 6 so we need to have the third row and this vehicle promised to combine comfort, reliability, and luxury. None of those things were true. The vehicle was delivered to us with the interior drivers door panel detached and hanging from wires. Windows would not open and radio/information panel acting weird. Problems were repaired only to have water coming from upper center console leaking into cabin two weeks later. 10 days to repair. Few weeks later car starts to surge and vibrate loudly when we travelled more than 65 miles/hr. Another few weeks of repair. Over the past 26 months of ownership problems have ranged from the annoying to the absurd: -leaky windshield/sunroof (3 times repaired and still leaking) -electrical glitches with entertainment console -hood cable snapped twice - one time the vehicle would not start because I had to add DEF fluid but couldnt open the hood to add it! -car found dead and unresponsive on driveway needing to be hauled away by dealership on a flatbed because they couldnt even open the doors (never was given a reason as to what caused this other than theyve never seen this before) -defrost fan screaming when turned to max (blower fan changed out twice) -vehicle groans after 65 miles/hr and the noise is so loud the driver and front passenger need to raise their voices to speak to each other (problem still exists even though weve taken car in 6 times for repair - service says they have no idea) -windshield wipers messed up -whistling noise in cabin when on highway - service cant find air leak-condensation inside cabin every day making everything moist and stickySave yourself the hassle and aggravation. Most frustrating, annoying vehicle experience Ive ever came across. Dealership was zero help and never proposed any solutions or resolve. Ive spoken to the general, manager, service manager, sales team and they all shrug tell me ride out my lease. I personally contacted Land Rover and expressed my distress on this and they spent 2 months researching this only to come back with the obvious that the vehicle is a dud. They agreed to purchase the vehicle from me (now only 11 months to go on the lease and most of the negative equity has been paid for by yours truly) BUT ONLY if I purchase a new vehicle from them. So I guess they figure they can treat their customers like crap and then try to force them to get stuck with another one of their crummy vehicles and do it all with a smile on their face and make it seem like they are doing you the favor. Screw Land Rover. Visit my site for more **.Original Review: Purchased a brand new 2017 Discovery HSE Diesel and it has been the worst vehicle. I’ve never written a review before but the public needs to be warned about these vehicles. Problems range from the annoying to the absurd. So far I’ve dealt with leaky windshields (yes, three times), leaky sunroof, water coming into the center console, door panels detaching from their clips and hanging by wires, electrical glitches that get “fixed” by magical updates which require 3 days in service, hood cable snapped twice, car battery dead even though car locked and sitting in driveway with no lights on (had to be hauled on flat bed - service department says they’ve never seen that before and no cause found but took them 3 weeks to get the car back to me), windshield wiper issues, acceleration issues in cold weather, surging when speed hits 60 km/hr, no heat, defrost fan screaming when set to max and I’m sure half a dozen other issues that I’ve forgotten. Save yourself the pain and anguish. This car has spent months in service. It is the worst vehicle made in the last 2 decades.

We bought our 2008 LR2 in early 2007. We have had nothing but headaches with this vehicle since day one. The first day driving, the sunroof seal peeled off and the screen became detached. Then the problems got worse to the point we thought the electrical system was defective. This vehicle has been in the auto dealership repair shop more than my wife and I have seen our doctors. It was so bad that Land Rover had to send an engineer out to look at the vehicle to get an idea what was causing all the problems and it seemed fixed. Lo and behold, the warranty expires and guess what? We start having more problems and costly ones at that. We literally lost our savings account for repairs on our LR2. The most recent repair over $1,200.00 for a cooling fan. It gets better.Prior to this repair our windscreen was damaged by something that struck the windscreen. Safe lite comes out and the tech. is not concerned about the crack as much as he is about the delaminated windscreen. He asked if we had been in accident and if we were the original owners. The vehicle was never in an accident and we are the original owners. The vehicles has only ever been serviced at LR dealership in Ventura, CA. and nowhere else. Apparently, the windscreen was replaced because it was damaged but it was incorrectly replaced and it allowed moisture to enter the instrument panel and thus our electronic headaches I can only presume. Weve had the fuel pump go out, oil pump go out, among a host of numerous other headaches that added up to the several thousands of dollars we lost on repairing this piece of junk.Land Rover asked for the receipt of our most recent repair and the response was laughable. I posted my response on Google Plus. Basically we were told that Land Rover offered a goodwill gesture for reimbursing our windscreen which they fraudulently sold us in a bad and very unsafe condition. I had to laugh, we paid several thousands of dollars in repairs and Land Rover is not in a financial position to assist for one repair. LOL. That is pathetic!

This is our fourth Range Rover purchase, and our last. At only five months old it has had three software patches applied (some of the patches have taken 4-6 hours to download, last time my car was in service for three days). Today, the electronic screen froze again, but never reset after turning off and on, which meant no Bluetooth, no radio, no back up cameras, no navigation, no climate, nothing, just a frozen screen). I was told that ALL models from Land Rover are having epic failures in this area and it will be at least two weeks before the new patch is released, and could take a day of service to download it and apply it and so many people will need to have this software update done. Why has Land Rover not been proactive in contacting owners to let them know about this problem? I’m sorry, but spending 120,000 for a car, even spending 20k, deserves far better communication from corporate. I asked the service manager if sales associates are now warning all new buyers of the complete failure of software electronics, he said they started this week. He also indicated he is receiving a half dozen calls a day about frozen screens, SIM card failures, etc and we just have to wait for the fourth update to be rolled out... hopefully in the next two weeks but they do not know when. Shame on Land Rover for the lack of communication or acknowledgment of an epic failure, which has been going on for a long while given the reviews in the past year. According to the service manager the Vevlars are a disaster.Their answer was the electronic control panel is not necessary. We backed up before without cameras, we can pull off on the side of the road to call someone, so you don’t need Bluetooth, and you don’t need the navigation system because you can use your phone, and you do not need your radio, or fine tune climate in the rear... all true points, but at over a 100,000 dollars for a luxury car you expect those things to be working on a regular basis. We were planning on ordering a ‘19 Range Rover as another car, but now we will not. This is our last Range Rover.

Range Rover sport HSE 2010 - As I read some of these reviews I realize that this scam bags at dealership did not disclose that these cars had to be recalled. I bought mine at November of 2010. Within the first month my navigation and center council kept on shooting off. They could or fix this even though the tech from England tried to remotely fix this. After thirty days they replaced the entire wiring and later on I sue and won 8k. Then I see the same violent leak and it was water pump and I have this again after 4 years. Then the gauge in the gas tank broke/stuck and I was left in middle of highway. Beautiful car even after 4 years but crappy workmanship. My boomers are coming out and body shop is telling me he does not like to fix it as any time he touches these cars something else break and does not worth for him.

The Range Rover Sport is by far the most unreliable vehicle I have ever owned. What a disappointment for a luxury SUV. The car always has issues, stays in the shop and is constantly in need of some type of service. The smallest things will require you to go to the dealer to be addressed. When any warning light comes on, prepare yourself for a trip to the dealer with your credit card ready. And this is way too often. For example, Ive had my tire pressure light come on, which is an appreciated notification, but after filling the tires with air the warning light wouldnt go off. Who needs a trip to the dealer for putting air in the tires? No thank you! Its an awesome looking vehicle but the maintenance is a part-time job and expensive. This car is like dating a young supermodel. Its great when its new and quite beautiful to look at, but it needs a lot of work under the hood and it is gonna cost you! You will get to know your repairman quite well if you purchase this vehicle. A truly disappointing experience.

Purchased a fully loaded 2018 RR Sport on Friday and drove home without issue. The next morning the climate and info system begin shutting down and restarting every 30 seconds. Had the car taken to the dealer Sunday and luckily got ahold of the bank to stop any money from making it to the dealer. Just told them to keep the car. I’m not paying around $100k for a vehicle that needs a repair within 13 hours of driving off the lot. Car had 80 miles on it when I bought it. The fact Land Rover can’t seem to produce a fully functional vehicle amazes me. They essentially make a gorgeous expensive car that looks great on the back of a flatbed truck. Wish a company would buy Land Rover that would then focus more on quality. I was in love with the car but couldn’t be more disappointed with the result. Luckily the dealer was reasonable and let me walk understanding how frustrating this was for me.

When I first received my 2018 Range Rover HSE it was a great car for the first month but its been a year and now I absolutely hate it, here are some reasons why. The infotainment system is the worst that I have ever worked with. The screens in the car will all go black in the middle of driving, even on the highway. It is impossible to connect a brand new iPhone X to the BRAND NEW Range Rover, I have tried relentlessly to connect my phone to the car through Bluetooth. The Bluetooth in the car is always failing. The glitching and lag from the infotainment screens make you want to take a baseball bat to the screen. If you have made it this far in my review now Id like to tell you that my family have had 6 previous Land Rover vehicles and I have a heart felt love for the brand. But, if Range Rover wont fix their infotainment problem, I will never buy another one and suggest that no one should either. Finally you may be thinking to yourself,Did you do anything to resolve the issues? Yes, I have gone to my local Range Rover dealership more than 2 times and they have given my car updates. These updates HAVE NOT WORKED. I still face all the same issues I had faced about 11 moths ago. My favorite part in this experience is the lack of reality that my local Range Rover dealership has. They have told me repeatedly that if I experience any problems with my car them I should, pull over and shut off the car for 5 to 10 minutes. So I guess every time there is malfunction with the infotainment system (which is about every day) then while driving to what ever destination I am traveling to that day, I should just pull over and take, 5 to 10 minutes, to restart my car. Im gonna leave this review by saying I used to love Land Rover but my car sucks and so does the Land Rover for the way they have dealt with this issue.

Make no mistake, I have been a long time Land Rover fan (Im in the UK). I have had many Defenders, Range Rovers and a Disco 3. I have driven to Africa 5 times in a Defender including through the Central Sahara Desert to Niger and have another rebuilt Defender 300Tdi 110 now ready to go again. I have just sold the Disco 3 after a few problems cropped up - it was getting old anyway. We went to a local dealer, Harwoods in Lewes, East Sussex to look at an Evoque or Discovery commercial or anything else that looked suitable for a family vehicle and seeing clients. Well, yes theres a virus going round but we were told we could not enter the showroom and to go and have a look round the car park. Well the car park was full of various vehicles, maybe customers in for service or staff, who knows? By the way it was raining too. We shuffled a bit and left, rather unamused to put it mildly. If this is the best that LR can do when customers are potentially about to spend £100k GBP or more and become loyal to a brand, then they need to go back to business school. Land Rover has a criminally bad reputation for reliability and appalling customer service. Its not difficult to see why. We went to a Porsche dealer who was open, welcoming and thoroughly excellent. The older Rovers were simple and robust. Parts were good and reliable, not expensive. The newer generation ones are grossly over complicated with dodgy electronics, poor quality components (they have gone downhill for the last few years due to cost cutting as the vehicles were no longer required to be robust due to mainly be used on road, not off road). Throw in corporate complacency, inadequately trained technicians who swap assemblies (huge bills ...) rather than fault find and you have a nightmare of epic proportions. My advice is to buy another brand thats reliable and from a source where you can get personal service when buying and for servicing and not be lost in the system. In the Uk theres lot of experience of Land rovers, more than the US - you have been warned.

I purchased this new Range Rover PHEV in May last year. In September we couldnt detach the charging cable. Roadside assist came and said the fault with this is so bad it needs to go to the dealer. This took the dealer and Land Rover 3 months to fix, with all sorts of faults discovered and waits for parts. We get it back and start to get major issues with the infotainment system and departure timers losing settings at random, or the car locking up during the charging cycle, so it wont actually charge. There no traffic info available now, the sun blind operates on its own while driving, the radio can change volume on its own, camera alerts are at maximum system volume, sometimes the infotainment system wont come on until you drive a mile or so.I have documented these and other faults, but are told theres nothing wrong with the car. I even have video evidence, but nothing is being done by JLR, who are aware of it, both at Dealer and Factory level. The leather seats are showing signs of wear on the seat base - The dealer steamed the leather to cure the issues, 500 miles later its as bad as ever. I understand too that its now subject to a recall because the engine does not meet publish emission standards. We have purchased over the years 2 Discos and 9 Range Rovers - Never again will I buy a JLR product, theres simply inadequate support.

I was always told that these are good vehicles. Just very costly to fix. I went ahead and purchased the Rover anyway, and took a chance. It ran good for 5 months, engine light came on, had it looked at and it would come on randomly. Never could get it repaired correctly. I then was driving in a mountain area here in Colorado, when I heard a heavy thumping from underneath the Rover. Got out in the snow and ice and realized my front drive shaft broke at the u-joint which are machined on by a press. When it was flopping around it hit the transmission housing and cracked the pumpkin. So when the front drive shaft went, it also took out the transmission.
