Im just simply writing about my defective dashboard. I purchase my 2006 G35 Coupe pre owned a couple years ago. Little over a year ago the dashboard started melting along with cracking. If it was something that wasnt noticeable, I wouldnt really care. However, its a conversation piece that you dont want to talk about because its pretty embarrassing. I keep my car in shaded areas along with having a garage. If I knew of the matter I would have never purchased my 3rd Infiniti. I have always spoken highly of the Infiniti brand until this simple problem that Infiniti wished to close the eyes to. I dont imagine anything to be resolved. I have research other forums in regards to others trying to start action, a class action suit, and gave my contact information in the event that something does come out of it! Going forward, I will surely NOT talk any good about the Brand Infiniti.

A customer for 14 years. Leased 5 cars through Infiniti and all I can say is... They have no loyalty and dont seems to give a ** about you as a customer. They misapplied a payment to someone else account ruining my credit score 30 days before I was to close on a house. That started a snowball effect of wrong information and just bad customer service and took 4-5 months before it was cleared up and corrected by the Credit bureaus. After all that I still considered getting another vehicle through them...Being the victim of misinformation once again from one of their customer service supervisors. Multiple attempts to resolve and salvage our relationship were met with nothing but long at min 20-30 min hold times. Leaving messages with supervisors that never get back to you. They just dont seem to care. After being a customer as long as I have been they can suck it. Ill just take my business elsewhere.

Upon purchase of our new JX35, wipers did not work day of purchase. Drove home from dinner in rain w/o wipers. Car was then recalled for a rotor problem. Then on Oct. 20, 2013 at 10 months with under 5,000 miles, the entire dash went blank. Our connected cell phone heated up and we drove home because we were leaving for two weeks to CA. When we returned, we called the dealer because our new car was dead! A tow truck took the car to the dealership on 11/5/2013. We were told it would take 2 days to get a part and repair. Now, Nov. 10, 2013 and still no sign of when the new 2013 JX35 will be repaired. We no longer trust the car since we believe all the electronics and wiring received extensive damage in the electrical malfunction. We have requested a buy back by Infiniti to trade for a new Infiniti. We do not know if anyone else has had any similar electrical problems. We had serviced this car at Infiniti in July for regular maintenance and had not used the auto much since that service! We are awaiting confirmation from Infiniti that they will swap the defective lemon JX35 for a new vehicle!!! We feel this should have been resolved with the dealer long before now!!

2015 Infiniti Q70 not well executed. Engine and Transmission do not perform with precision as the Q50 or other models do. Its sluggish and non responsive. Has stupid settings for Economy and Sport, which do nothing except either make the car jumpy or more sluggish. The Navigation system is very complex and cannot find Places (aka Points of Interest). E.g. it could not find of my bank locations (Chase) near me, even though there are 5 within a 4 miles radius. The nearest it found was 60 miles away. It could find the ATMs that my has. If you do not have an exact address, its almost impossible to find anything. It is as what in it is a primitive system. My portable GPS thats 10 years old has more accuracy. The answers I get from the dealer are all BS and they try to jawbone with a bunch of lame excuses. So, no satisfaction.

Duped by Infiniti. I purchased a brand new QX80 from my Houston dealer. The car is fantastic. At the time of purchase I was clear that I was likely to move to the UAE after a year or so. They assured me that my vehicle was fit for export and that the UAE Infiniti dealer will take care of me. Lo and behold, I arrived this Jan with my QX80, and the local dealer washed their hands off me, claiming the vehicle electronics is completely and that they will be unable to service or diagnose any issues with the vehicle. I feel my $90k is down the drain. Really disappointed! To make things worse, I wrote to both Infiniti USA as well as Infiniti ME. The US palmed me off to the ME office, and the ME office was not at all responsive. I will ensure to continue using every opportunity to discourage anyone supporting the Nissan and Infiniti brand. Shameless thugs!

In a two-month span of time my Infiniti G37x seem to have sudden and explained acceleration. On the first occasion, I, Mark **, was the driver. I took the vehicle to a carwash. At the end of the wash I was waived forward by the guys who towel dry the vehicle. As I stepped on the accelerator the vehicle shot forward at a high rate of speed. I was surprised but blew it off as a fluke. Approximately one month later my wife was driving the vehicle. She was a red light; as the light started to turn green she moved her foot from the brake to the gas pedal and the vehicle again took off at a high rate of speed. Its not the kind of thing that happens regularly, so its difficult to know if its a real problem or human error. Frankly, after it happened with my wife I was really concerned because she is an extremely careful driver. Truth be told, she drives quite slowly.I would like to have the vehicle checked out and perhaps have the black box read to see if there is a sudden acceleration problem. Im not sure who or where I should go to have this matter fairly examined and if there is an independent body who evaluate complaints of this nature. As a direct consequence the vehicle was involved in an accident (second acceleration), resulting in approximately twenty thousand dollars in damage to my vehicle and additional damage to other vehicles and property. The vehicle went from a complete stop, traveled about 100 feet striking another vehicle at speeds in excess of 50 mph. In the first incident at the carwash, one employee jumped out of the way and I managed to bring the vehicle to a quick stop.

Infiniti has a big variety of cars and SUVs so that anyone can find the car or SUV they want. We found a 6-speed that hugged the road with ease. Our black infiniti was beautiful inside and out. It has black tinted windows and black leather inside. It was as powerful as it was gorgeous and if you werent paying attention you would be speeding before you knew it. We liked it just like it was - black on the outside and on the inside, stick shift and heated seats. There was plenty of room for the passenger to sit comfortably or to lay the seat back and take a nap with ease. The only time this was a problem was if someone was sitting behind you.

My Q50 has 88,000 miles on it and is out of warranty. It has always been meticulously maintained. This week while parking the engine suddenly failed. The local Infiniti dealer inspected the engine and found that it had, in their words, a catastrophic failure. There were no signs of wear or burning. Something in the number two piston tore up. The oil pan showed large chunks of metal. I had expected this engine life to be at least 150,000 miles. Infiniti Customer Service response to my complaint was that the car was out of warranty and I will have to pay for a new engine.

I have been searching for assistance on line and called the warranty division but have not received any responses or been able to find help. Local dealer cant do anything as this requires higher level of support and investigation. Can anyone from this site help a Canadian owner reach someone of importance at Infiniti related to the warranty division? I do not wish to provide any details yet hoping Infiniti will respond to my issue. This is an extremely disturbing experience. I dont know where to find an order number as requested below.

I bought a brand new INFINITI Q50 Hybrid with technology package in September 2013. Got hit by a deer on Nov 3, 2013 and the car is with the auto body shop till date with no hope in sight... Parts were ordered from Japan but apparently, the new ECM modules were not compatible with the one in the car and now all modules need to be replaced and there is no ETA on the delivery of these parts. I have incurred tremendous stress, frustration and money in paying for rental cars thus far and still using a rental... The car was bought with me putting down $20k and financed for $30k and am still paying the monthly $530 for not using the car! Can I please have my equity ($approx $20k) and the rental car expense back and NISSAN can take the car away...

I have owned an Infiniti 2004 Q45 with 62K miles that has been garaged most of the time. I intended keeping this vehicle as a collectors item. I also own another vehicle, so it has not been my main transport. Unfortunately, the vinyl around the sides of the drive seat has started to tear on its own. On inspection, the quality of the vinyl is very poor. What a disappointment for a car costing 64K. I will never buy another Infiniti product.

Incredible braking system and also a very nice sound system. It handles like a car and I also gets very good gas mileage to be an SUV. I would recommend this vehicle because it is very classy.

I lease my Infiniti QX70 2017 on October 2017. Since then I had very bad experience with their service. It start with the fact that they didnt provide my the additional tool to change my Tire. I waited 3 ours to someone to come and change my tire (I could do it by my self, but I didnt find the special key). When the help arrived he also didnt have the special tool and I was suppose to wait 7 hours for towing. Last week I heard big explosion while driving and the Exhaust fell down.I didnt bump anything!!! And when I went the the Mechanic, they blamed me to bump something and pay 1500$ to replace the exhaust. It was impossible to bump something since the bump was in the posterior part of my exhaust. I try to talk with consumer affairs but they denied my concerns. This for sure my last Infiniti ever. And of curse, all my friends tried to prevent me to lease Infiniti. I feel so bad that I didnt hear to their advice.

I bought a 2014 Infiniti QX60 and since I bought the car, I have issues. First within a week of buying the car the headliner was coming out. I took it, they fixed, then a second time for same issue. Now I have transmission problems, it being twice I take it to the dealer, the car only have 12k miles. The dealer keep saying is normal - that the transmission works like that when I shift from reverse to drive, it kicks really bad. I know that is not normal. It didnt do that when I first bought the car. Joe the service manager said that he was going to call me to set up an appointment - is already being more than a week still havent call me. I already call three times and left message for Hans ** who I took my car for a second time. Until now he havent return my call. In total my car is being at the dealer 4 times for problems. I will never get another Infiniti. I dont recommended, I dont even want to keep this car anymore - the worst experience ever. Dont go to Cerritos Infiniti or any Infiniti.

Decent amount of models but need more in the large sedan category and more sport type cars would be nice. The large SUVs look like a remake of the Nissans. Though I know both are owned by the same there needs to be a difference if someone is going to be paying a higher price. The front looks amazing. Just looks like its angry and is ready to go. The on-board navigation and the whole system though is bad. The infotainment system Infiniti needs to be revamped because it is slow and old. The upgrade options are a little pricey but not as bad as other dealers. Some are worth it like going to the premium but the personalization could be better on them. Back seats have decent amount of leg room though me being a tall guy the person behind me can become squished between the seat. Plus when I get out, the auto bring the seat back can make it even worse and I have to manually stop it.

My black Infiniti began having paint issues. At first I thought it was damaged by something in the environment, etc. But upon inspection, you could clearly see the distinct outlines of the decals that had been placed on the car years earlier. The damage began there has now spread over entire car. I dont know if the paint or clearcoat had a chemical reaction to the paint or perhaps the decals prevented the coating from doing its job or perhaps the solvent sprayed on to remove the decals had some kind of effect. I researched on the internet and found several other issues of the transportation decals causing delayed paint failure on Infiniti vehicles. It is obvious from photos that the damage is not random or naturally occurring.

Kelly Infiniti did it...Herb Chambers I bought the car from says they are with me...but Im on my own. No one wants to help me. After being informed that there was an extended warranty issued and Infiniti would fix my dashboard, I called, the representative told me to get a work order from the dealer and it would be taken care of. I got the work order and called Infiniti Consumers back. I spoke with a different representative and he said he would open a case and I should receive a call from someone within two business days. He also noted that he seriously doubted that they would do anything because the warranty expired in November 2012. I received a call that same evening. Of course they told me the same thing he said. I was told that they sent out letters from their office to many address on file. Which she couldnt give to me. That was strange. My address should have been updated in their system since I frequent the Infiniti Dealer for regular maintenance. I was also surprised that this was never brought to my attention by the Dealership. For Infiniti to be luxury automotive dealer, they dont value the relationships of their customers. I was never notified of this cosmetic issue and did not receive adequate details on why. My local Infinity dealership was selling a pre-owned car. Due to Infiniti being a reputable dealership, I had confidence in purchasing a used car from them. I would not have thought that they would sell a car with a major internal flaw. I test drove the car, looked at the Carfax, and things checked out fine. I purchased the car end of February 2020. A week later, when I was trying to set up my bluetooth and stream music, this feature was not working at all. When I try to make phone calls, the system goes in and out, and I am unable to stream anything from my phone. I took it to a Ford service center (the car is a Ford CMax Hybrid), and they could not diagnose by a quick look. They recommended that since I had just bought the car, I should take it back to the dealership to have them look at it.I called Infinity, and spoke with the sales rep who sold me the car, in addition to the sales manager. They did not even want to look at the car, and tried to tell me that everything was fine when they sold me the car. They did not want to have anything to do with fixing the bluetooth issue. The sales manager basically said oh well it was sold as is. I would have expected them to tell me that this feature was not working/a system was broken, but no one shared any of this info with me. I thought a company like Infinity would not do something like this, but I was sadly wrong. On another note, it took 3 phone calls to get someone to talk to me about this. Nobody was calling me back initially, this should be telling. Now, in order to get this fixed, I will have to pay several hundred dollars that I dont have, so that I can make phone calls in my car and listen to music.

Its been 4 days and I was told that my car would not be available to me for another 5 days. I was given a loaner car but its really not that helpful as they gave me another q50. This car smells too.Infiniti told me they really dont have a solution. They changed the drain hoses from the sun roof and now they are working on deodorizing it. I honestly dont think this is going to work but they asked me to give them a chance. At this point I really have no options. This is supposed to be a high end car, over $40,000. Im experiencing headaches, and feeling dizzy when in the car. The internet has shown many people having the same problems with their Q50. I just wanna enjoy my brand new car but unfortunately, all I wanna do is vomit when Im in it. Please, any help is truly appreciated.

The timing chain went on my car nearly $5000 worth of work and parts to fix. My very helpful garage (Lia Infiniti) said to call Infiniti consumer affairs to ask for their help, as it is a known problem, with this specific recall notice (I knew nothing until car went wrong) with the QX56 model and my car was still fairly new with very low mileage. My car happened to not have a recall on its Vin number but the fault still happened. Because of this and out of its warranty when I bought it they wiped their hands of it. Pretty disgusted with Infiniti consumer affairs as this is a well known problem and even had recalls on this issue. I would never buy another Infiniti purely because of this. The Lia Infiniti garage I used had excellent customer care and tried everything to get it down in price.

This car has been a fun car to drive but the reliability has been a joke. Almost immediately after buying the car the window regulators were messed up and I had to pay to get them fixed. Now the CD player is messed up, its got some CDs jammed in there. And Infiniti is quoting close to $1500 to fix this? Are you kidding me!? These cars are junk. Might as well stick with GM cars. Even if something goes wrong in a GM vehicle it costs under 200 to get it fixed.

I leased my car in 2014. First, it was located in another state. In preparing the car, the paint on the hood apparently peeled off so they had to repaint before it got on the truck. It didnt make sense. Why didnt they just leave it on to transport then pull off at the end delivery? The truck breaks down on the way to our local dealership. So this was delayed 2 extra days. The dealership felt bad about everything so they had a guy bring it to my work. It was raining so we were unable to put the top down and test. He also scraped my right passenger front wheel. That was a battle and a half to prove since no one there documented who even drove my car to me. I got home later that day when it stopped raining and the first time I put down the top, the back window shattered everywhere.Fast forward a year, I take to an Infiniti dealer in another state, because we moved. I just needed an oil change. They scratched my car. They then had to keep my car longer to fix. Then my headliner broke. I took it in to get it repaired. They repaired it but they put a hole in it. So they had to re-do it which mean literally a MONTH at the dealer. Im paying for a convertible and they loan me a plain sedan built for a mom of ten. Finally get my car back and its scratched... Again… So they fix the scratch (kind of) a few days later... Headliner breaks again. They replace...again.Get my car back again... Headliner ropes break. They tell me to bring in the car because they have the part in stock now (because this happens to me more often than they are admitting). I take it in. They give me a brown minivan thing. I drive the brown piece of ** for a week. It stops running at stop signs. It jolts and is just absolutely awful to drive. I call the dealership because Im desperate to have my car back. Anything is better than the brown ** they gave me. They said, oh...they are waiting for an Infiniti engineer to come in on April 7th. Why no one let me know... Can’t say for sure. They did fire the Service manager, Sam, who was handling my account. So no one was working on my car. Awesome! I had to ask to get updates. So then I started talking to Shawn. The new manager is Eric. Ive tried to reach Eric multiple times but he does not return calls.I finally get my car back. It was driven to my house for me. I made the tech stay here while I opened the top and closed it once. Nothing exciting there. However, now the button that you push to move the top up and down has almost all of the chrome scraped off of it to where it hurts your finger to touch. So....here I go calling Infiniti again. Shawn said they will order the part. Meantime, Im working with Kinsi on how to end my lease now. I only have 4 months left. They denied me. I found out by calling again today. Apparently Kinsi hasnt been to work and no one knows when she will be back and they cannot tell me why it was denied. So...The moral of the story here folks... I do NOT recommend Infiniti. Id literally rather walk than buy or lease anything from this company again.

I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan V6. The air system is stuck on auto and my audio (radio) and rear defroster no longer works. I have no control whatsoever on the entire air system. The problems started in 2009, as I lost control off, and on until about six months ago when everything went dead. I had recall work done on the audio circuit board in 2003 and now that Infiniti dealership in Guelph told me that it is the same part which is at fault. This diagnosis cost me 57 dollars. I called the Woodchester dealership in Mississauga that did the original warranty work and they told me that they no longer will back their work because the Voluntary Service Campaign Audio Finisher Circuit Board recall is over with. This is a total scam that Nissan has managed to sidestep even though they issued a recall. They replaced my part, all right, but this same part was again faulty and an obvious health and safety concern exists here. As far as I am concerned, they should once again replace this faulty part since they probably replaced it with a new one that again is faulty. How can I possibly drive this car when no front windshield air or rear defrost exists especially with winter fast approaching. The least they can do is pay for the part again since the dealership wants to charge me approximately 1700 dollars to replace both the circuit board and the radio. If I dont get satisfaction out of this I will never buy a Nissan vehicle again. There are so many people complaining about this. It is pretty laughable that no one from the government has forced the issue. I guess that will be my next step. Whats your move Nissan? Are you gonna take the responsibility for the vehicle you made or are you gonna wait till someone gets killed because they cant see the road while they are driving?

I bought my first Infiniti in 2014, I purchased a demo model Q50 S Hybrid for the price of R574, 430 with km12000 on the clock, a simply awesome vehicle with all the bells and whistles. Early this year I was keen to trade up on a new Infiniti when I heard the news that there is only one dealership left in SA and the brand is basically dead in SA.When I bought into the Nissans flagship (Infiniti) the last thing I expected was to be left in this predicament and now (2018) the very dealership Nissan can’t even give me an exact value on my car. I find this extremely poor from such a global brand. Imagine Lexus did the same to their Toyota clients. The least they could have done was to attempt a marketing campaign in South Africa, and by that I dont mean billboards on major highways. One light at the end of this tunnel is the great service I still get from Nissan Melrose Arch who obviously still carry the service contracts on Infiniti. Needless to say I will in future not invest in the Nissan brand again.

I bought a ‘05 G35 coupe in 2009 as a preown. From the very beginning, I had issues with that car. First, the engine knocked and started to eat oil more. Gas got replaced. Just after that the moon-roof broke. The dealer tried to make me pay $2000 to fix it while the car was still on warranty. Now the air bag light is blinking. Just to get it checked they asked me $300. They tried to change belts that have 30k on then and my clutch that got wet after 30k (supposedly due to the way I drive) just for that another $2000. They are out of their minds. People, please do not buy that **. It’s over-priced and just a garbage. I was in love with Infiniti. Now I hate myself for spending that ton of money on a car that’s ** and has problems with everything (alignment since new, radio, moon-roof, airbag light flashing, clutch not being able to switch gears, loud engine even being replaced). I don’t know what to say. I hate dealers. They are a bunch of legal criminals that will suck 100 times more money then the repair really cost. And service—what’s that? Buy Infiniti, it means no service. I’m getting a ride off that car and I will never come back to that company.

I bought a brand new 2018 Q50. Within the year I have had several problems with the tires. The tire pressure warning is always coming on. I put air in the tires and a few weeks later the same warning comes back on. This has happened to me several times. A few weeks ago I got a flat tire while driving and had to have my car towed to the Infiniti dealer because much to my surprise my brand new Infiniti did not come with a spare tire! No one told me this when I purchased the car. After spending $415 for a new tire and wheel alignment, I now have another tire with a bulge in it. I asked Infiniti to give me a new tire without charge and was told that they can’t help me and suggested I go to the manufacturer. I informed them that being that they could not help me I would not be a repeat customer and I was told that that was OK with them???

It took a while for a supervisor NOT to bother but to call and deny the coverage. I read that paint DEFECT is well beyond the basic warranty, however, even after my calls, anyone bothered to have me take it to a dealer to look at, although a dealer I service the car at, advised to call them originally as he was sure it would be corrected! If your Infiniti Q50 AWD sport or non sport 19 rims with the Dunlop SP 5000 DSST CTT run flat tires will probably develop a low speed squashy sound around 10k-15k miles you will hear with the windows down. If you notice this tire noise the tires are under warranty from Goodyear who now owns Dunlop and Kelly. Goodyear Tire Company will send you to a retail tire shop and once confirmed tires are in fact bad will prorate towards a new set of run flat or non - run flat Dunlop, Goodyear or Kelly tires. I have a 2015 Q50 AWD sport with Deluxe and Technology Package my bad original Dunlop 5000 DSST CTT @ 14,917 miles, I chose the EAGLE SPORT A/S non-run flat tires that come with a 50,000 mile warranty. Very low tire noise, smooth riding, better braking, excellent in rain + dry traction-handling, good snow traction. These new Goodyear tires has definitely improved my overall ownership experience with the Infiniti Q50.

Ive never heard of a car company that likes to screw their customers as much as the Infiniti car company. Before buying any Infiniti thats before 2021, you should know that if you get one with a panoramic roof it doesnt open. Who invest money in a panoramic roof and doesnt allow it to open? You should also know that if you ever want to get Apple CarPlay, or whatever the Android version of that is, you cant. Infiniti decided to be the only car company that would not allow compatibility with any aftermarket product. If youre OK with all of that, then its a very beautiful car. If beauty is all you are looking for and not a car that actually makes sense or a company that likes their customers, then this is the car for you.

The worst car I ever owned. I bought it brand new. It has less than 25,000 miles on it 2 years later. I have gotten stuck on the road 4 or 5 times with electrical problems (not just the battery). I also got stuck with a flat tire and found out for the first time that this $45,000 lemon did not come with a spare tire. Roadside assistance is a joke. 20 minutes worth of robot menus, another hold for a real person who asks the same questions, and then between 45 minutes to an hour before anyone actually shows and tows the car to the dealer. How do you get home? Your problem. The service department dealer, Manhasset Infiniti, manages to find a $600-$1,000 non-warranty item every time the car is brought in for routine service or a warrantied repair. Everyone is very nice and gives the appearance of being accommodating. But the bottom line is that they are handling you, not your problem.

I made an appointment for the dashboard recall for my 2005 Infiniti FX35. I arrived at the Long Branch, NJ Service Center early for my appointment, and received a loaner car. Within an hour, they called me to come back for the vehicle. Mind you, I live 40 miles away from the nearest Infiniti dealer. They told me I need to come back and make another appointment when the dash comes in. I asked them why would they have me come in for nothing then. They stated that we need to see if its normal wear and tear, or warranty. I said that If its a recall, then it should be replaced either way. They said, not if its normal wear and tear. It was a total waste of time and every time I go in there they want to charge for something. This time they tried to hit me with a $120 evaluation fee. I will never buy another Infiniti again! Also, they will not cover paint chips I have all over my front bumper. The paint just keeps peeling off and it looks like crap. Its a 50K vehicle, new. There is no reason why this should not be in the recall as well.

Tens of thousands of G35 sedans and coupes experience gradual failure of control of both radio and HVAC. Eventually display boards go dead and heat/AC revert to a default mode. Initially the radio may still be controlled via the steering wheel. In 2003 Infiniti published a service bulletin for sedans only... More than 23,000 vehicles affected. At that time a finishing board was blamed... Its cost was $114.00. Infiniti is now unable to tell me whether the problem relates to the finishing board or the radio itself. So they now charge $754.49 for the finishing board, and $600.00 for a reconditioned radio that they admit may well fail again. Labor quoted $188.00 to R&I the radio and board. Repair total: $1650.46 for a system that was poorly designed.Even if the company does not feel responsible to pay for the repair, they might have made the customers options as painless as possible. Instead they kicked the price up on the board almost seven-fold, and are unable to advise their customers whether the problem is in the radio or the board. So you are expected to replace them both. A complete failure in customer service. I own a G35 6-speed coupe and an FX35 and will never purchase an Infiniti product again.

The I30, four-door model with leather and good sound system is a mid-level of the brand but it has good workmanship in construction. Its an older model, so design was outdated to more current models. But its attractive and functional design. It also has well-rounded lines with functional interior amenities, controls and easily accessible. Since this was a basic model, it did not contain a lot of bells and whistles. The sunroof was a nice feature and worked well. A larger engine was not needed as the model performed well. The car is listed as seating for five, which was correct, but rear seat leg room was limited. The front passenger compartment was quite narrow for leg room.

However, any dealer Ive visited says that they have never seen the Q70 Hybrid and doubt that it is available. When I go to Infiniti website and do a Build and Price, I can build it, yet the quote goes to my local dealers (not so local... 2 hour drive) and they tell me not available. I try to contact Infiniti Consumer Affairs to find out whats going on and they put me back to sales of the dealers Ive already talked to... that know just as little as I do. 1 year ago, I noticed my dashboard sticky. I take it to Schumacher West Palm Beach Infiniti to look at it and service advisor says dash looks like it is rotting but cant be a defect because nobody else has had the problem, only in the FX model but has never seen it before in the G35. My car is 2007 and had at the time 45,000 miles approx but could be less because I have never had to clean my car because Infiniti would clean it after every service call. My car is practically garage kept, the service advisor contacts the infiniti consumer and they say they will only cover half of the $1200 to replace the dash. I refused feeling very slighted and moved on...Since then I have always had a problem with a haze on the inside windshield and was told its probably a toxic fume from the breakdown of the plastic in the dash. Now I am concerned for my health and have been very sick with allergies and pneumonia and feel dizzy and lightheaded every time I drive my car and have noticed more cracks around the air vents on the passenger side where the door and dash meet and is chipping away exposing the foam underlayment and this is why I have since contacted Infiniti consumer and they refuse to even look at my car (which they never did the first time year ago) because I refused the half compensation the first time, and told me if if I wanted to contact the Better Business Bureau I could. And I have, I have not heard anything yet. I feel a car of this caliber should maintain better when taken extreme care of, I have had American cars last much longer and feel totally ripped off by wasting twice as much money on my G35 than any other car. I really do like the car except this problem but will not waste my money on another Infiniti again but they dont seem to care about the small pittance of one customer, their customer loyalty and the dealership is less than desired.

The steering on this car randomly starts turning left and sometimes right. It is NOT an alignment issue, the car literally makes a left turn if I do not hold on tight to the steering wheel. If I do let go, it will turn left across the highway just as if I turned the steering wheel to make a left turn. A few times the power steering has gone out altogether and that was very scary (if an auto-turning car isnt scary enough). The problem, though regular, is intermittent and the 6 or 7 times I have taken it to Infiniti, they have been unable to duplicate the problem. I have shown them multiple self-shot videos of the car turning by itself but they claim the car is working as designed and will do nothing about it. This IS A KNOWN issue and many others are complaining of the exact or similar issues with this car but it is clear that Infiniti chooses to wait for a few deaths or a class action suit before they do anything. This is my 4th and final Infiniti. I just want them to buy the car back because they obviously do not know why it is happening and they refuse a buyback, claiming the car is operating as designed. Its unimaginable to me since I feel my life is in imminent danger every time I drive it. Infiniti is a BAD company! I thought they were good but they are not. They are fine if everything goes well but when you need them to back their product, they do not. I paid $54,000 for this car, it only has 6K miles on it and it has been in the shop about 7 times and will go back when it starts doing it again. I can only hope I can get it there while the problem is happening because Infiniti is clearly denying the existence of any problem. I feel SO ripped off by this sleazeball company. 54 grand and Im totally screwed! I have contacted an attorney and they will pursue it but I also want Infiniti to pay the price by EVERYONE knowing what a scumbag company they really are. They would rather me die than get my dangerous car off the road. The problem still exists and likely will not go away and neither will I. Stay away from Infiniti!

I drove the car for 1.5 hr just to test it and it did not improve. I took the car to the dealer I originally bought from and they say that the EPA reviews and that they are not responsible for that review. I believe that is unreal for a car to provide less than half mpg than what it suppose to. I called Infiniti and they said the same thing and only provided me with few tips on how to improve it.Also my front passenger seat makes a weird sound (something loose) when I head a pothole. The dealer said that all Q50 makes the same sound and there is nothing they can do in that case. Its a manufacturer problem. I have been with the car for just a month and I am not happy. I would not recommend purchasing this car. I am paying a lot of money to have this type of issue.

If you’re making these cars how do you not provide PARTS? My friend was covered for two weeks of rental and is now for the last four weeks is paying over $600 a week ONLY because of fault of Infiniti NOT providing parts in a timely manner. Why wont Infiniti stand behind theyre product? I have a 2003 G35 with 70,000 miles and it is now having the same electrical problems that everyone else who owns the 2003 is having; radio dead, battery drained, AC stuck on, fan goes full blast then low. I dont understand why Infiniti wont help. This will be an expensive fix. I loved the car. I will never buy another and I will tell everyone I know not to buy Infiniti. Service needs to stand behind this product. You guys are wrong!

I have purchased 2 Infiniti Qx56 SUVs brand new. My current 2012 has been in the shop over 10x with the same problem. The dealership explains the problem to me and how this is unique. Each time the cause is something different when they document it and check you out. Now the truck is out of warranty and it will be my responsibility if it happens again. Trust me when I say, It will happen again. Being stranded and having to be without my own vehicle for days. One time it was in the shop for 21 days, they claimed they were waiting for a part from overseas. I did contact Infiniti corporate office and they refused to do anything. I had bizarre electrical problems with my first Infiniti QX56 as well. I had it in the shop multiple times and no one could ever figure that unique problem out either. I purchased my second one because it was the new body style and it was very spacious. The sales team was very sligh about and claiming it was all revamped and no issues reported. They do have a good looking vehicle but I will never never again buy an Infiniti. For the price ($80,000) you would expect more. They are not trained in customer satisfaction, quality or customers service.

The air conditioner comes on by itself and you cant shut it off. You also have no control of the defroster, so this could very easily be the cause of a dangerous driving situation. I am convinced that this is happening to every 2003 Infiniti G-35 that was made. This is without a doubt a safety hazard and needs to be taken care of free of charge by the dealer.

We bought Infiniti just last year and went to get yearly service done. I was told over the phone that we will get car back after service in 3 hours and they will provide us courtesy car for that time. We dropped car at 2:30 pm and was expecting to get it by 5:30 pm. When we went there, they didnt give us any courtesy car but offered us shuttle ride to a nearby shopping center. We were ok with that and opted for shuttle. When we came back from the shopping center the car was not ready. We asked them, they said it is just due for washing and will be done soon. We waited half an hr more and by that time it was 5:10 pm. At that time, they told us that they guy who is supposed to wash our car is out to drop someone. They had no idea when the guy will return and wash our car. We had another activity to take care after that and regretfully we had to pick up our car unwashed. They were not punctual with their commitment. If they offer shuttle service to the customers, that should not be at the cost of service. We are very disappointed by this behavior of such a reputable car company.

We purchased our 2010 G37 from Infiniti of Peoria (AZ) and both the car and service have been exceptional. A couple of minor items (window trim and transmission reprogram) were dealt with in 2011, and only routine servicing since. Even after six years, our salesperson (Robert) still remembers our names and stops by to chat whenever we are in for service. The car is a great highway cruiser, and still runs like it is new - by far the best car we have owned.

The Infiniti G series has always been one of my favorite designs. Its sleek and curvy and looks much more expensive than it is. The lakeshore blue color is a perfect combo of gray and blue. My vehicle came fully loaded, and even though the car is almost 9 years old, the features have held up quite well. They were ahead of their time. The car provides a super comfy ride for 5 with plenty of leg room, seat width, arm rests, and cup holders, plus dual temperature controls. Both the car and the dealership experience were excellent. But while I found the perfect car for me, I would have appreciated a greater selection of certified pre-owned vehicles that were low in mileage.

I leased an Infiniti JX35 on July 13, 2013. I absolutely loved the vehicle
I leased an Infiniti JX35 on July 13, 2013. I absolutely loved the vehicle up until February of 2015. In February, I noticed the brake pedal would occasionally sink down almost to the floor when stopping. The pedal would also from time to time start sinking down when I was stopped at a traffic light or stopped In traffic. The car would start to roll if I didnt continue to apply more pressure to the pedal when I was stopped. The real concern was that the brake problem was intermittent, it didnt happen consistently. In February 2015, I took the vehicle to the dealership and they said there was a problem with the Master cylinder, so they replaced it. Upon receiving the car back, the brakes operated normally for only a week. After one week the brake problem returned. I called the dealership and they asked me to bring the car in as soon as I can, so I did in March 2015. The dealership claims they could not get the brakes to repeat this problem. I was now even communicating with the shop foreman, who said to me one time he felt something happen similar to what I was saying, but it happened only once. I went back and forth with the dealership in March. In April, they received authorization to change the ABS controller. After changing the abs controller, the brake problem appeared to be gone. The brake problem returned again in August of 2015 and again of course it is intermittent. It doesnt happen when Im stopped anymore, it just happens when Im stopping. If I dont continue to increase the pressure I apply to the brakes when they sink the car will not stop. The dealership took the car in, kept it for over a week, changed the brake pads and said they could not repeat the problem. They even told me at one time that this is the way the brakes operate on these vehicles. I immediately responded by informing them that these brakes did not operate like this the first 1 1/2 years I was driving it. My daughter drives my car frequently and she even came to me and asked me why do the brakes get so soft occasionally. I chose Infiniti because of their advertised HIGH standards of excellence. Theyre supposed to compare in quality to Lexus, Acura and Mercedes. Well, Ive owned 3 Mercedes in my lifetime and their customer service and quality is second to none. My face to face customer service experience with KM Infiniti has been good, however, they have not been able to fix the issues with my JX35. The quality of this vehicle is on the same level as a Nissan. Not only have had issues with the brakes, but Ive had the rubber gasket on the roof rack come loose, Ive had to replace the driver side sun visor.I chose this car because I wanted a car I could depend on when my grandchildren get into it. I wanted a car I could have confidence in for safety. I have just about every option available on this car and thought it would be a safe car for my family to drive in. As it stands now I am extremely dissatisfied with this car and it doesnt appear Infiniti knows how to fix it! This car is a Lemon!

60K of crap. Every day I have to use my 2014 QX60 I wonder what will go wrong. First it was the brakes. Front and rear, rotors, pads, the works at around 12K miles. Shortly after was the transmission. At the dealer I couldnt help but notice the 11 other QX60 cars there. I inquired with one of the service techs who informed me that 8 of the 11 were for transmission problems. I have had windshield molding problems, navigation problems, and small button and switches problems, like falling off; ridiculous! Now at 31K miles, the car battery is leaking. Of course the dealer will not fully replace due to the convenience of only a 24 month warranty. The only good thing with this vehicle is the 3 year lease that cant end soon enough!!

Temperature control unit - A/C turns itself on at highest speed and becomes stuck. I can feel the effect/pull that this has on the engine. Also, audio unit screen goes blank while playing and cannot be adjusted or shutoff until engine is turned off. Both units, inoperable. Problem sometimes ceases and sometimes persists with engine re-start. [Im also concerned with the safety hazard of the drain of power (on battery/alternator) if both units are involuntarily running full power, if not able to pull over and shut off car. The car has now stalled once while at a traffic light, following the onset of this problem.]I took the vehicle to my mechanic and was informed of a voluntary recall and presented with the paperwork. Campaign ID#: P3104 - Voluntary Service Campaign Audio Finisher Circuit Board. Applied Vehicle: 2003 G35 Sedan (V35). Dealer Responsibility. After numerous times being told (via phone call) that there was no recall, I informed the dealer (Warranty Manager) that I was looking at (and citing from) the voluntary recall paperwork. After spending much time on hold, the Warranty Manager confirmed the recall. I was ultimately informed that my vehicle did not fall within the VIN #s for the first 23,600 vehicles built. Therefore, my vehicle did not qualify for repair under the recall. I was told that there was nothing I could do under the parameters of this recall. I asked for a quote for the repair. Estimated: $700 parts and labor. When I asked if there was anything else I could do, I was suggested to file a complaint with Consumer Affairs. So here I am.

I just want to start I am Infiniti loyal customer, this is my 3rd Infiniti. My current car is QX70. About 4 months ago my car would start and shut off. I took it to Oklahoma city Infiniti dealer and they diagnose the issue a day change the break switch with didnt help. Took it the 2nd time and they program the computer and told me this will solve the issues. Same day after I picked the car start doing the same thing + jerking while speeding and slowing down and out power at all. I took it back and they went and changed the engine magnetic head which I dont understand why. Picked the car and 2 days before Christmas while doing shopping with my little girl, while waiting at a traffic light the car shut off. I had to put the gear on park and start the car. This is a safety concerns. I called the dealer the next day and was asked to bring the car. This time I took a video of the car not starting and show it to the service manager which he now have proof. The dealer cant diagnose the issue and I been told by the shop foreman to contact Infiniti consumer affair which I did. After they contact me I been told by OKC dealer I cant no longer bring the car to them since the Infiniti corporate been notify. The consumer affair supervisor informed me that Infiniti cant do anything special to fix the car. What I can do take it to different dealer which about 120 miles which I did and they have the car now. So Infiniti is aware of this issue and I have 3 recorded videos of the issues and wont do anything even its a safety issue. Hope Jacki ** of Tulsa Oklahoma will be able to help. WILL SEE.

BUYER BEWARE!!! The test of a great company is when they have to deal with a customer issue and how they resolve the issue and make the customer a long time loyal customer. Just bought a brand new Infiniti 2014 QX60 in January 2015 with less than 525 miles (the car was delivered with the paint issues) and found manufacturer paint defect issues. And Infiniti Affairs has refused to repurchase or trade out the vehicle and have not accepted responsibility for their paint defects. Infiniti Corp has also ignored the dealer, Infiniti of Dayton, who agreed and provided documentation to the BBB that there are manufacturers defects in the paint. Infiniti Corps response is We will cover the costs for repainting half the car....ITS A BRAND NEW CAR...WORST CUSTOMER SATISFACTION OF ANY COMPANY I HAVE DEALT WITH! The dealer is pointing their finger at Infiniti Corp and Infiniti Corp is pointing their finger at Infiniti Corp. Both have responsibility with the issue because Infiniti of Dayton did not discover the issue during the vehicle prep process, which was done poorly. Infiniti of Dayton will not respond to my calls for next steps. I have had to contact the BBB and the Attorney General and hope something get resolves from this... very sad state of both companies. DO NOT BUY AN INFINITI!!! I bought Toyota for the last 10 years with no issues... took care of any issue. DO NOT BUY INFINITI!! THE CUSTOMER IS NOT A CONCERN. BUY LEXUS/TOYOTA!!

I enjoyed the selection and it made it easy to find everything that I was looking for. I have a very large family. Im happy to say that we are able to enjoy our rides around town and everyone still has their personal space and do not feel cramped. Its also nice because there is a lot of trunk space and since we go on a lot of day trips that makes it convenient. The appearance of the car was very nice. It had a nice color and looks good when driving. The inside of the car has wonderful features, sits enough people, and the climate control is very accommodating for different people in the same vehicle. Also, I was able to get all the upgrades and personalize the vehicle to my liking. I purchased a 2014 Infiniti q50 in February 2014. It FLOATS/DRIFTS/TRAVELS across lanes BOTH directions even when the steering wheel is level and straight. I notice it more on the freeway however, it does it in the city as well. I took it into the dealership in May to have the issue looked at by the local Infiniti dealership. They say they cant find anything wrong. I took it back to the dealership again in May 2014 (Memorial Day weekend) and wanted a Master Tech to ride with us, he rode with us and saw the issue more than once however, decided that it needed an alignment which is crap (It wouldnt travel in both directions!)!! The car had 3000 miles on it and needed an alignment??? Ok so, they did an minor alignment but, it still drifts/floats and travels across both lanes without any help. I have to constantly actively steer the vehicle to keep it in the lane! My local dealership tells me that they cant find anything mechanically wrong with the vehicle. I was told by the local dealership Manager that they were instructed by NISSAN/INFINITI Corp NOT to work on my vehicle until the Infiniti engineer comes out to drive the vehicle on 6/24 however, based on all of the negative comments about, I doubt that he will help me. Do I hear Class Action?? ? I traded in my 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe that I had bought used and NEVER had any problems with for this piece of crap! My Intouch Apps have never worked correctly. The backup camera doesnt work until you put the car in reverse 3 times, my dual screens have locked up 5 times and will not correct themselves unless you pull the vehicle over and turn off the car and turn it back on. My Oil & Filter light came on at 3499 miles and the first Oil/Filter change isnt until 5000 miles!! ! I DO NOT FEEL SAFE IN THIS VEHICLE!! I have told the dealership Manager and Consumer Affairs that I DO NOT feel SAFE in this vehicle! I purchased this vehicle because we are having another grandchild which means that her car seat wouldnt fit in the coupe. I WILL NOT ALLOW MY granddaughters or my pregnant daughter in this vehicle!!!

Its medium sized, with a hard top, the seating was optimized and did not have a lot of room in the back. When I called to take steps for the repair of my 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan, I was informed my car was manufactured in December of 2002, and was outside of their voluntary service campaign, even though the defect is a known problem to the 2003 G35 sedans. I am concerned for my driving safety, knowing the AC/Heat is running full blast for the duration of my drive. I commute at least 500 miles from Monday-Friday (not including weekend driving), and I know this will put a huge strain on other mechanical systems in my car, and I can only imagine my time is short, before my entire car is rendered inoperable. Without Nissan honoring this repair, or until I can afford to repair the defect myself, my car has no value even as a trade in. I will never buy another Nissan/Infiniti product, and will start my own personal campaign to convince other consumers, not to buy a Nissan product either.

2009 Infiniti g37 had clock problem fixed out of warranty, same clock problem on 2013 Infiniti g37, out of warranty less than 2009 was, Infiniti will not fix. There is a problem with these analog clocks, clock flashes on and off. Lack of concern on part of Infiniti. Will no longer buy or tout the Infiniti/Nissan product.

This is in reply to Glenn of Orland Park. I too own a 2003 Infiniti FX35. I too have the same over-heating problems with my vehicle. Infiniti will not do a darn thing about it because they already know of the problem. It is inherent in most 2003 Model FX35s. 1st Model release and build. It is the head gaskets. Low block! It is exactly why Infiniti acts like they cannot diagnose or replicate the condition. They drag and drag running up the bill and they play stupid. A simple radiator pressure test will immediately reveal the flaw. But they dont want to be the ones who conduct that test and reveal this condition to you. Take it to a radiator specialist. You will get your proof! Their only recommendation is to replace the engine! At close to a $ 10,000.00 fix. This is totally unacceptable! I would just love to partake in a class action suit against these imbeciles. Please do not waste any time or money trying to diagnose the problem gentlemen. It is on every Infiniti blog you will find. Good luck to all whom own these vehicles. I know that I am not alone. This should be a zero rank to Infiniti, but this site will not allow it. : (

I purchased my Infiniti G35 at Glenn Nissan in Lexington in 2009 with roughly 30,200 miles on it. I purchased it as is. Two months after the purchase, I started having problems with the vehicle. I immediately had to replace all serpentine belts in the engine, replace the rubber lining on one door because it kept coming loose and was finally too stretched out to re-glue, replace lights in the vehicle that keep burning out, replace my drivers windshield wiper several times/year because it’s bent and shreds the wiper. I have had to replace the tires twice due to flat spots. I am leaking oil in the engine and now need new gaskets and O rings. Every time I go through a car wash, the water leaks into my trunk badly. I can find up to an inch of water where my spare tire is at any given time.My airbag light is on and needs a $1,200 fix due to what they assume is a broken clock spring. My tire pressure sensors are broken and now the key fob isnt working (according to Infiniti, the car isnt recognizing the key fob signal) and will need a whole new computer system. I pulled the Carfax report and noted the car had sustained flood damage and had been issued a rebuild title in California. I met with Infiniti and the dealer told me the Carfax report must be wrong and that all of the issues I have had with my car are normal wear and tear. The dealer then proceeded to contact the KY Department of Motor Vehicle and told them to remove the incorrect Carfax data without my permission (I am the owner of the car) and they indeed did remove the information. My Kentucky title is clean and I am in the process of trying to obtain the California vehicle history of my car. I contacted consumer affairs at Infiniti and they said their records reflected my car had sustained flood damage and had a rebuild title. However, Glenn Nissan in Lexington has declined to address my issues, and only to cover their own behinds. Im not even sure what I should do next. I will never buy another Infiniti again.
