The 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is a high-performance variant of the compact CT4 sedan, engineered to deliver track-ready dynamics, aggressive acceleration, and driver-focused handling in a package that remains practical for everyday use. Positioned at the top of the CT4 lineup, the Blackwing nameplate represents Cadillac’s commitment to performance, blending modern technology with a motorsport-inspired character and luxury sensibilities.

It is designed for driving enthusiasts who seek precision, power, and responsiveness — a sedan capable of thrilling performance both on public roads and closed circuits.

Design & Exterior Identity

The exterior of the 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing expresses performance intent and purposeful styling:

Aggressive stance: Wider track, muscular fenders, and a low profile give the Blackwing a planted, athletic posture.

Aerodynamic enhancements: Functional styling elements — such as a front splitter, rear diffuser, and sculpted side skirts — not only enhance appearance but also support aerodynamic control and cooling.

Distinctive fascia: A bold front grille, aggressive air intakes, and Blackwing-specific trim set it apart from lesser CT4 trims.

Sport-leaning proportions: Sharp character lines and performance-oriented detailing emphasize both athleticism and premium design.

Overall, the exterior communicates performance with luxury precision rather than pure flashiness.

Powertrain & Performance

At the heart of the CT4-V Blackwing is a high-output engine and performance-oriented drivetrain:

Potent engine: The Blackwing typically features a forceful turbocharged powerplant engineered for strong horsepower and abundant torque, delivering lively acceleration and responsive power delivery throughout the rev range.

Transmission choices: Enthusiasts can choose between a manual gearbox for a traditional, engaging experience or a performance-tuned automatic transmission for rapid, seamless shifts.

Performance calibration: Engine, throttle, and drivetrain tuning focus on immediate response, deliberate power delivery, and strong midrange thrust, making the car feel alive under varied driving conditions.

This powertrain philosophy prioritizes both straight-line acceleration and dynamic control.

Driving Dynamics & Handling

The 2026 CT4-V Blackwing’s dynamics are calibrated for agile handling, high-speed composure, and driver confidence:

Sport-tuned suspension: A performance suspension setup enhances chassis feedback and reduces body roll, contributing to a composed, engaging drive in spirited conditions.

Precision steering: Steering feedback is tuned to be direct and communicative, helping drivers place the car precisely through corners.

Braking performance: Upgraded brakes provide strong stopping power and consistent response during repeated hard braking.

Chassis balancing: The suspension, weight distribution, and traction control systems work in concert to maintain composure and confidence through tight corners and fast transitions.

Handling is designed to feel lively and precise, rewarding skillful, enthusiastic driving without sacrificing safety.

Interior Comfort & Technology

Inside, the 2026 CT4-V Blackwing blends performance cues with premium comfort and modern technology:

Sport seats: Deeply bolstered seats support the driver and passengers during aggressive driving while remaining comfortable for daily use.

Driver-oriented cockpit: Controls and displays are arranged to keep essential information and throttle/brake inputs easily accessible with minimal distraction.

Quality materials: Premium upholstery, trim, and finish elements elevate the cabin atmosphere beyond typical performance-only cars.

Infotainment and connectivity: A responsive central display manages navigation, media, vehicle settings, and integrated performance data. Wireless smartphone integration keeps occupants connected on the go.

The interior feels both functional for performance driving and refined for daily comfort.

Safety & Driver Assistance

The 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing includes a suite of safety and driver support features tailored to enhance confidence without diminishing engagement:

Adaptive cruise control: Supports steady speeds and safe following distances on highways.

Lane-keeping assistance: Helps maintain lane position during sustained highway travel.

Automatic emergency braking: Offers mitigation support in sudden traffic slowdown situations.

Blind-spot monitoring: Enhances awareness during lane changes and busy traffic conditions.

While the Blackwing is performance-focused, safety systems are implemented to support confidence during everyday use.

Strengths of the 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing

High-end performance: A powerful engine and performance-tuned drivetrain deliver strong acceleration and dynamic capability.

Engaging handling: Sport-oriented steering, suspension, and braking systems provide agility and precision.

Premium interior: Refined materials and technology create a balance of comfort and performance utility.

Driver-focused experience: Manual transmission option and precise feedback cater to enthusiasts.

Modern connectivity: Advanced infotainment, driver displays, and smartphone integration support everyday usability.

Trade-offs & Considerations

Ride firmness: Sport-leaning suspension setups may feel firm over rough or uneven surfaces compared with comfort-biased sedans.

Fuel consumption: Performance-oriented tuning and spirited driving contribute to higher fuel use compared with non-performance models.

Cargo and rear seating: Compact sports sedans naturally prioritize front passenger space and performance over deep cargo capacity or expansive rear room.

Performance focus: While still usable daily, the Blackwing’s strengths are most evident in dynamic driving conditions and skilled hands.

Who the 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Is Best For

The 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is ideal for drivers who:

Want a compact luxury performance sedan with track-oriented handling and spirited acceleration.

Appreciate driver engagement through direct steering, brake feel, and optional manual shifting.

Value modern technology and premium interior features alongside performance credentials.

Enjoy agile handling and confident road manners on both highways and twisty routes.

Bottom Line

The 2026 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing delivers a high-performance, driver-centric sport sedan experience that blends powerful acceleration, agile handling, and premium refinement. It offers the best of both worlds: everyday comfort and sophisticated technology for daily life, as well as responsive dynamics and performance capability for enthusiastic driving. I have a 2013 Cadillac SRX. Right at 52k, my cue touchscreen started not working and then eventually stopped working altogether. Now I cant change the radio, pair my phone, control the AC, set the safety features on the car. Brought it to the Cadillac dealership, $150 diagnostic to tell me I need a radio control unit. First they say GM will offer some cost assistance. 7 weeks later the RCU is still on back order. After several complaints to Cadillac they say its the first that they heard of it. Yet there are so many back ordered because they are failing at an alarming rate. Cadillac stills holds the line that your warranty expired and you are on the hook. I hate Cadillac. I used to love the car and my Cadillac user experience sucks. Looking for an answer.

GM Cadillac start to disintegrate at 55,000 miles. Not worth the money. No customer service. GM makes the worst cars and GM executive customer service is even worse than their cars. I will never buy a GM and my family and their families will know my disgusting experience with your GM vehicle and horrible staff especially the CEO of GM. NEVER PURCHASE A GM. Horribly manufactured with horrible customer service, if you can ever get a one the phone. My customer service on my Caddy was just horrible and the repair warranty was the worse. Plus, all inferior plastic parts in the Cadillac are disintegrating before my very eyes. And this a low mileage car that was very expensive but built with inferior materials. All glam and hype but no quality. NO MORE GM FOR ME, FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND FRIENDS OF FRIENDS.And one more thing, there has been a knocking in my engine from the day I drove it off the lot but somehow every time I took it in to have GM their mechanics always told me thats normal for this type of vehicle to have knocking in the engine. When I took my vehicle outside of GM to be looked at by Cadillac mechanics, I have been told that this was not normal for this Cadillac to be knocking all the time. I rest my case with GM and whoever is running GM. Plus the windshield was never put in properly. It is just a badly made vehicle with the brand name Cadillac. What a shame for such a classic. Horrible experience with GM dealership, GM customer service and tried to reach the CEO Mary.

I am very pleased overall with the Cadillac that I purchased a few months ago. This car is smooth on the road and there are many choices to choose from. I chose a gold Cadillac and the capacity of the car allows you to carry 3 or 4 passengers. The cars interior was very nice and the hubcaps on the car are very appealing to ones eye. The steering wheel is very nice to grab, as well. The car is even better if you decide to upgrade the cars interior and paint.

Cadillac SRX: Very pretty SUV, handles good. However, acceleration is not so good. The problem is when you need to accelerate quickly you cannot. It takes the computer a few seconds to know that you need some power before it kicks in. I ask dealership about this, they said that is normal. But its risky and that hesitation has almost caused problems more than once, so now I know its just a doggie SUV. Last one Ill buy.

Drive shaft center support rubber grommet deteriorated causing a thumping noise when accelerating. Cadillac said no replacement parts are available and I need the entire drive shaft. Drive shaft part alone is between $680 to $800 depending upon VIN. This part is a Carrier Bearing, for the rest of the world, and they have been available from every manufacturer I can think of $60-$70. And the Cadillac dealer sends me their new car literature?

The Escalade is a great SUV, with power and luxury. It has great handling, excellent 4WD and came with a standard antitheft system. The STS gets good gas mileage for a luxury sedan. It has intelligent beam headlights and has some great features. It also has a phenomenal audio system and I upgraded to deluxe CD player system. I bought the last model year in 2011 and loved the 3.6 L V-6 engine. It has heated seats, heated steering wheel, easy to use cruise control, heated mirrors, rear seats which fold down, and the center armrest has a pass thru. It makes it easy to put fishing poles and/or skis in the trunk. The interior is roomy. It can easily accommodate five adult passengers or six if some are children. Theres enough legroom in the back so that no ones knees are hitting the back of the front seat, even when the driver has the seat back.

The seats on my 2013 XTS are very uncomfortable. Both my wife and I can’t ride more than 10 miles. The seats are too small, and we are not big people. I will not buy another Cadillac. They dont want to change the seats for more comfort. I have a 2005 Deville. Thank God for that car. If Cadillac would do something, I would be very happy. Otherwise, I will tell everyone about this car.

In Oct. 2009 I took my 2007 SRX in for engine light check/repair. In Nov 2009 I brought it in for 5 times, twice for December 2009, once on Jan. 2010, once in Feb. 2010, Mar. 2010, April 2010, Sept. 2010, Oct. 2010, twice in Nov. 2010, once in Dec 2010, and once in Jan. 2011. There are many more that I dont have a repair order detail for. The SRX was in the Miller (now Baker) service shop, most of 2011. At times, when the light would appear, I would stop in, and the service adviser would clear it, if it was the same codes. No repair order appeared. At present, the check engine light is on, and has been on since early Dec. 2011. I was told to drive it.During 2011, Leo from Cadillac customer service would frequently contact me. I gave him an update, but I saw no action to help resolve this repetitive problem. The district rep, Tom **, is not willing to work with me, and is thwarting any resolution. He is certainly staining the Cadillac reputation. Who is his boss? I want resolution! Is this the quality automobile that Cadillac advertises?

I bought the car used and it was a cruiser and it was very roomy on the inside. Its very reliable, and I did not have to worry about if I was going to make it back home or not. Even though it was a boat ride to on the outside it was a very good car to me. The interior was in the best of shape. It did not have any holes in the seats. It was able to fit me, my daughter and her father, and our friends and their 3 kids, so that is 8 people and 1 of those 8 was in a car seat.

My wife and I recently rented a 2017 Cadillac XTS. We wanted to try it out before we bought one. Immediately after starting out we tried to use the CUE system and discovered that it is dangerous to use as it is totally distracting and takes your eyes off the road. It is very difficult to use the controls and activate them. I tried to plug my iPod in and it immediately froze up the system. It was extremely difficult to activate the A/C, heating and radio, stereo controls. This system is a complete failure and a deathtrap as it is dangerous to use. I hear as well that they are very prone to failure and not covered under the radio type warranty. What a failure for a car like a Cadillac where a person lays out high multi thousands of dollars. Cadillac needs to dump this system and replace it with one that this car should have. How disappointing. The car itself had adequate power but rode no better, braked no better or did it handle on curves and straight a ways any better than my 2010 Terrain. The seats were hard and uncomfortable on a long trip. As well the transmission did not do anything better than my 2010 Terrain. I expected a lot lot more from a Cadillac especially for the asking price but the car and the company did not deliver. Cadillac is asking way to much for this car and it does not deliver In conclusion we will not be buying any Cadillac of any kind and have decided to go with an Audi. We DO NOT recommend a Cadillac of any kind to any one.

2002 Eldorado - Bought it used with 18,000 miles on it in 2004. Runs fine and gets excellent mileage. It is the most economical Caddy I have ever owned. Of course I keep it serviced as I have with all of them. I still have a 1983 Coupe DeVille Ive had since 1986. I rebuilt the 4100 engine at 141,000 miles. It has 161,000 miles now. I have a 1978 Seville, a 1986 Fleetwood Brougham, and a 1984 factory Limo. All run fine, no issues. I recently sold a 1984 Fleetwood Brougham. Storage space is getting to be an issue. I only have a building large enough for 12 autos. Some of my drivers are other brands. I am not fond of the new bodies so I keep my old Caddies and drive them wherever I wish. When I need a mechanic I use certified individuals, no shade tree men. Wish you all could have the fortunate experience I have enjoyed with my family of old Caddies.

Recently purchased this as a new car from a local dealer who used it as a courtesy vehicle. It had only 2500 miles and had most of the factory warranty remaining. I am glad I did not pay the new car price and paid at a nearly 40% discount off sticker. This Cadillac defines why discerning luxury car buyers never cross shop Cadillac and laugh at the notion of Cadillac being a luxury brand. This car is rife with rattles, poor fit and finish, low quality materials, the failure that is CUE, clouding headlamps (at 4000 miles), constant headlight malfunction warnings, misfitting panels, steering that seems to have a mind of its own often failing to turn with input or causing the wheel to jerk without input. This is the sorriest excuse for a luxury automobile ever and explains why Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Lexus, Volvo, Jaguar, and other traditional luxury brand owners will never cross shop a Cadillac.

Bought a 2016 CTs with 13,000 miles on it and almost 2 years of warranty left. CUE went out, transmission wouldnt shift properly (torque converter), 3 recalls, sun visor fell out of the headliner, not to mention the cabin rattled like an old junker that three dealerships tried to fix to no avail. I just dumped it with 1 month warranty left and bought a Honda. Cadillac is living off its name only, there is absolutely no longevity to these vehicles. Get out while you can.

I have had the same issues as all other owners with the CUE screen freezing up, as you run out of the warranty. Starts off as a small area wont work and then all of a sudden the screen is frozen and nothing you touch on it responds. Hard reset doesnt work and so on. GM knows about the issue and will not issue any recalls on them. Cadillac owners are left to fend for themselves, and costly bills to rectify the issue.

I purchased a 2004 Cadillac SRX last week from a dealership that did not offer a warranty. That was not the issue, considering the car seemed to be in great condition. A few days later I noticed that my Stability Control sensor repeatedly appeared on my dash, warning me of an issue. After doing my research online in regard to the issue, I noticed that this is a constant pattern for the 2004 SRX and many thousands of owners have complained with no resolution. This is a driving hazard because the car veers out of control and the breaks lock up at speeds over 50 mph.The forum discussion also mentioned a family that was killed as a result of this issue. They also mentioned numerous accidents and near accidents as well. I also know that GM is aware of this issue because they monitor the forum site and have responded with canny and inconsiderate responses to some of the comments made. The sad thing is that this vehicle has never been recalled for this issue.Essentially, I am not blaming the car dealership in regard to this issue. However, I am holding GM responsible for not correcting this highly dangerous defect years ago. I am surprised that this car is still on the road after reading all the horror stories. Thank you for your time and I hope this can be resolved before another innocent person is killed behind a companys irresponsible behavior.

We leased a Cadillac ATS turbo 2013. Thank God that we leased this vehicle and not purchased it. The car exterior is very appealing. The interior is not bad, the CUE system is horrible to operate while driving. Handling is very good, acceleration is excellent. But we have been having problems with this vehicle ever since we got it. It had front end problems twice, the radio is basically obsolete since its always acquiring the HD signal and is not pleasant to hear, already had about 7 recalls on it. Every couple of months the car goes back to the shop for different problems. As a matter of fact its in the shop now. There was noise coming from the engine and they found loose screws. The car had a terrible vibration on rear window area so they notified me that all 4 rims are bent due to potholes. Now how can that be possible? I have owned about 15 different vehicles and not one of them ever had a problem with a bent rim nevermind all 4 of them. My opinion is that these rims were made with cheap materials and have a design fault. This has to be the worst vehicle we have ever had and theres no pleasure in driving it. Maybe I got a lemon but I have received no help from the dealership.

We have enjoyed our Cadillac SRX, but have the headlight fogging issue. We were out of the country when they issued the recall but missed it when we came back. They stated basically that we were out of luck. Earlier this year they offered $200 towards a $1200 repair bill to replace both headlight assemblies. We cant see with the headlights on low beam and have to place them on high beam. In checking with Cadillac today they are standing by their offer. We will not buy another Cadillac and will be telling anyone we encounter that is looking to purchase a luxury car to stay away from Cadillac because of their lack of support. I have had much better success from Lexus and Ford with issues like this. I will stay with these brands.

I purchased a 2006 Cadillac CTS November 2010. Prior to this, the vehicle was under my mothers ownership and care. She purchased the vehicle directly from the Cadillac dealership. While using the CTS I assured it received the required maintenance such as oil changes, etc. February 2015 I noticed one night the vehicle began driving a little sluggish. I decided once I got home I would call in the morning to schedule an appointment. The next day I started the car and it would not turn over. It was below zero degrees that day so I accounted the issue to the weather. A few days later when the temperatures improved, I started the vehicle again with negative results.I had the vehicle towed to the local Cadillac dealership. They conducted a diagnostic exam of the engine (taking it apart) which costs $500 just for the techs to examine it. They called advising me the timing chain jumped 5 teeth on primary gear at crankshaft and there was low pressure in cylinder #6. In other words, they told me I would require a new engine at $9000! That is the new engine price and labor costs. I said no thank you, so they put the parts back in and I had the car towed to my residence. After further investigation, I realized this issue is more common than I thought. Several Cadillacs that are a CTS and other models have experienced similar issues. When I spoke with auto technicians about the issue for a second and third opinion, they gave similar responses. One auto tech that teaches automotive at the local high school and a technical school stated there are a lot of problems with Cadillac engines, especially North Star engines. He didnt even want to get a used engine for me afraid that it would also have engine trouble eventually and waste my money. He said my year and model are commonly known to have this issue. If this is indeed a common issue, why is there not a recall or lemon law case introduced? The dealer and Cadillac Corp is refusing to fix it because they state the power train warranty is up. Of course its up around the timeframe the engines begin to fail. A guy once told me when he saw me with the car be careful because after 100,000 miles they go downhill. They dont make them and build them to last like the old schools. I chalked it up to him being bitter. His Cadillac DTS transmission had to be replaced. He sold the vehicle quickly after and now I see why. I should have listened to him and sold it then.

I have a 2005 Cadillac CTS 3.6L engine with less than 87,000 miles on it. About 2 weeks ago, a screw had somehow backed itself out of one of the gears and caused major damage to my vehicle. The valve cover is shredded, cracked cylinder head and a piece broke off the cast iron timing chain cover. I reported it to Cadillac in hope of them standing by their product and customer loyalty and in turn they have said its not covered under the powertrain warranty. At Cadillacs request, I had the car towed to Don Massey Cadillac because they were supposed to have a reputation for good customer service. That is very wrong. They took almost 5 days to look at my car and give a diagnosis. Now the mechanic that is going to fix the car is on vacation and has three weeks of work before he could get to my car. If the dealership would have looked at the car in a timely manner the mechanic could have looked at it sooner and at least got the parts ordered. I am now going to be at least another month without my car because Cadillac wasted my time. I will NEVER buy another Cadillac or GM product. This car has never been abused or had modifications done to it. Every oil change has had synthetic oil put into it. I am very dissatisfied with the Cadillac brand of luxury. There is nothing luxury about how they treat their customers.

I own a 2011 SRX and at 77,000 Km. I noticed a humming noise coming from the rear of the car. It sounded like an exhaust leak as it varied with acceleration. I took it to my dealer and it was found to be a worn left wheel bearing. It was replaced at no cost to me. The same noise started to appear again at 88,000 km. I returned to the dealer with the same complaint and this time it was deemed to be the right rear wheel bearing. But this time since the vehicle was past the 80,000 km warranty it was going to cost me about $500 to repair. I argued that it should have been replaced with the original complaint and ended up paying for labor only $200. Is this normal for both wheel bearings to wear out with this mileage?

I was a proud owner of a Cadillac SRX until I had to pay to repair a manufacturer flaw in the transmission. I know that Cadillac is aware of the problem because they made a part to fix it, but thought so little of their customers. They left us the bill to fix it. I will not purchase another car from a company that will leave their mistakes for customers to pay for. I feel I am owed a refund for the repair. Its Cadillacs responsibility to sell a car without defects.

Cadillac brings a excellent model. I had no problems with this car for a while because it was just so good of a car. A few distinct features that this car had was the interior. It was a perfect leather, very comfy to relax on and also the car was a very steady car. I painted my car from white to black just to make it look better because I liked the color. The passenger quality is phenomenal. Everyone who got in the car was very relaxed because the seats were perfect and no one gave a negative comment. Cadillac is a really good type of car to own.

I have a 2011 Cadillac SRX. My check engine light started coming on back in Jan of 2016 and going out on and off for three months. I had auto zone check codes. They was po171 & po174. I looked them up on the computer technical description system too lean (bank2) po171 & po174. Very similar auto zone description, said too much oxygen in exhaust so I change two O2 upstream sensor light, still on then po174 mean mass air sensor light still coming on & off. I had the dealer here in Merrillville in. They had my car all day and told me I needed to replace all 6 injector $2500. I told them to close my hood and I was picking my car up. I do all my work myself so everyone having check engine light I started to check myself. The problem was replace. The evaporative emissions purge control valve price $ 41.47 when I installed the light went out. That valve will make your car run bad, make your trans shift funny on my car. The purge valve is right behind the throttle body. I hope this will help someone having check engine. If someone need help email me. PS I purchase my SRX new in Aug 2011. I only got 65000 miles and I service my car regular and the dealer said I needed new injector. I knew that was a lie. The dealer are out to rip you off.

Cadillac has a slight variety, more than in the past. Needs more smaller vehicles that resemble the old style. Some models are too big and use more gas than I prefer. I no longer feel that this brand has one signature look but several looks. Its very different from the original look of the long body frame. Certain models can fit significantly more passengers than others and really depends what your needs are to determine what is a good fit. They dont skimp on the upgrades and has many nice features and accents...navigation, backup camera, etc. Doesnt feel quite as luxury as it did in the past though.

My car has all kinds of annoying rattling sound coming from the interior panels. I left the car the whole day today at the second dealership I went and they diagnosed they couldn’t duplicate just like the other dealership that I visited for the same issues five times. As soon as I drove it off from the parking lot I was able to hear the annoying noise. Before I was able to get my car back, I told the service staff I will come back at seven, but she already left with other staffs by the time I called at 6:30. I was able to find a sales staff and he told me to come back in the morning but I already drove an hour. He found a key later on and I was able to get my car back after begging three twice. I’m not gonna bother by the noise and drive it as is but I’m not gonna stop complaining how crappy the Cadillac service departments are managed.

The 2015 Cadillac is nothing but a hot mess!! Ive dealt with headlights so dim I could not see to drive at night. After four tries, Cadillac Service finally figured out a fix. There were transmission issues: the car would hesitate when giving it the gas from a stopped or slowed position to the point it jerked you back in your seat. The battery completely died at 30,000 miles. The lift gate motor died at 32,000 miles because water from the sunroof drainage tubes literally soaked the motor, ($1800 fix). So, take my advice and just run as far away from this car as you can.

I purchased a brand new, off the showroom floor, 2017 Cadillac CT6 in February, 2017. On March 27, 2017 while driving in Rowland Hts., Ca. I was rear ended by a motorist who was not paying attention to the fact that everyone else but her had stopped. I had my vehicle towed to a Cadillac dealer for repair. 2 weeks later that Cadillac dealer contacted me and stated that they could not repair my car as they weren’t aluminum qualified. They found another shop in the area that was aluminum qualified but, in about 2 more weeks, I found out that this repair shop was not GM aluminum qualified. GM finally okayed a shop in North Hollywood that was qualified to repair my vehicle. My car was transported to this location but the vehicle could not be repaired at this time as there were no replacement parts available for my vehicle. Long story short: my vehicle is still in this shop and tomorrow will make it the 4th month that I have not been able to get my car back. In fairness, the Cadillac dealer that I originally took the car to has supplied me with a loaner car for the duration and they also assisted in getting GM to reimburse me for 2 months of payments on my car, but I have not seen my car for almost 4 months! Car is not totaled. My experience tells me that I will NEVER purchase another Cadillac as GM has truly dropped the ball in regard to supplying parts and a qualified repair shop. The shop that my car is still currently at is the only one in Southern California at this time so, again, I blame GM for really dropping the ball. My insurance company told me that I could take my car to any qualified repair show but by whose qualifications??? Again, I commend the dealership that has supported me during this time frame but I have lost all faith in GM.

In the past other cars I have had have struggled to fit my friends inside, but the Cadillac is awesome. It also makes me feel good to look at it and looks definitely play a role in my purchasing. I purchased 2004 Cadillac SRX and thought it was a nice car. That has turned out to be the complete opposite. As of this writing, the car has only 90000 miles, the engine has been replaced, and for what my dealer said was a dropped valve. The radiator has been replaced, the transmission and/or its parts, and so many other problems that are too numerous to mention here. The car was towed in again last night with a bad water pump. The dealer said it is still under warranty and will cost me nothing, thus, being the good news. The bad news is the transfer case chain is slipping and is going to be 1,700.00 dollars. I thought, how much have I spent on that car? I called Matt, the service manager and he only said its a ridiculous amount of money. I suppose the bills on this car is well over what I spent buying the car 2-fold. I want to mention the $400.00 headlight and the $1000.00 plus radiator that got broken while fixing the engine, that I paid for. I have owned several Cadillacs and that my friend is about to change. I wish this to be over.

It seems like every time we fix one thing, something else happens. We first had the transmission rebuilt, brake hose replaced because it sat for a long time. Now the key gets stuck in the ignition. I had to take my Cadillac in because the fuel gauge would not work properly. I simply washed my xt5 and somehow it caused the door locks to not work. It cost me $575 to get it fixed. I called the corporate office seeking a refund and give Cadillac a chance to stand by their product but they refused. So, if you want to take a chance and buy a Cadillac....good luck.

The Cadillac brand models are varied with respect to the type of environment where they are condescending. This brand is so recognized in the world for the quality and design of its cars. There are few updates that I made to my Cadillac since it is a classic model, however the ones that are made are excellent, you could say that they have given the size. The design of the car allows it to be more spacious, I can usually get up to 6 people of medium size in my car.

I purchased an extended warranty from Cadillac for $3,500. The warranty has the Cadillac Warranty all over the papers that were signed. My engine blew after 3 years (80k miles) and Cadillac said the manufacturers warranty was over and the warranty THEY sold me they could not support since it was a third party warranty. Facts: This is not a Cadillac Warranty. After numerous calls Cadillac informed me it was not their warranty and they could not help (even though their logo is all over what was sold). Cadillac is given incentives to sell third party warranties and allows them to put their logos on the warranty to make it appear it is a Cadillac sponsor and supported warranty. Third party warranty held my car for over month to fix while only giving 10 days of vehicle rental allowance. Third party failed to rebuild engine and it went out again and wanted to charge me additional $3,500 to fix after it. This happened the moment I drove it off of lot from dealership that was paid to replace it. Beware of what you are signing. The dealership I purchased this from has said their hands are tied due to Cadillac not supporting them in helping the consumer. After spending $90k on a vehicle I expected more from a brand and the services they sell you.

Over 2 weeks ago, the brakes on my 2007 Cadillac DTS suddenly felt soft as I was going down a hill. This was immediately followed by the following warning signs lighting up on the dash: Check Brake System, Check Brake Assist, Check Traction Control. I managed to get the car down the hill without going over the edge and took it to the GM dealer in town for repair. They advised me that 3 of the brakes needed to be replaced but that there was one part they did not have in stock. After a week of them being unable to locate a dealer in Kentucky that had this part, they were allowed to access GMs system where GM locates and arranges for shipment of the needed part. More than 2 weeks have now passed and no part has been forthcoming, nor do I have any idea when (if???) the part will arrive. So meantime, I and the dealership are a captive audience to this. I would trade the damn thing in but not for another GM product; except, of course, I cant move it as it has no brakes. It is just stuck there in the dealers service department while GM has failed to find and provide the needed part. What happened to the law that says auto manufacturers must make and retain parts for every vehicle they make within a ten-year period? I am not sure how to proceed from here as to if it would do any good to complain to the federal government with regards to lack of available parts or whether to go see a lawyer.

The display showed traction control malfunction, and I pulled over right away. The car went straight to the local GM dealership. The service writer told me it could be a number of things and he would have a tech look at it. Gave me a ride home, no loaners. He called back that afternoon and told me the problem was the transmission module and solenoid, pulled pan and replace parts, fluid, and filter. $1500.00! I couldnt believe it, I told him the car only has 82000 miles on it and the transmission was just serviced at 70000 miles, maintenance. I am going to ask for the old part back and somehow come up with the $1500.00.

I had submitted a review in June after having been told by Cadillac that I was SOL regarding the issue I had with the OEM tires on my 2017 XT5. Fortunately, I complained to my dealer and told them I wouldn’t be back after my lease was up. The dealer intervened on my behalf with Cadillac and shockingly, they were successful where I had not been....I received a check for full reimbursement for the Continental tires I replaced the OEM Michelin tires with. According to the lady with the dealership that handles warranty issues, there should not have been an issue with Cadillac refusing my claim as there had been a Bulletin issued regarding the problem with the tires!! So...I have a decision to make....I’m happy with my dealer, but still unhappy with Cadillac! I will at least consider another Caddy, but not a slam dunk for me like it once was! I will also consider others as well! Remember when you bought a Cadillac knowing you were buying quality? Not so much anymore. One would think the manufacturer would figure that out. Regardless, I felt I should tell “the rest of the story”!

Everywhere I went people gave me compliments (I had to swag it out a bit :) ). I loved the way this car looked - it definitely stands out from the rest. However, this car was a love hate relationship - starting from the 1st week. The car spent more time in repair shop than I actually drove it. Im a bit smarter now. Purchasing a car close to 100k is a bad idea. You just might as well buy a newer car. The repairs went into the thousands easily. Everything was breaking down and needed to be replaced. I was afraid to even drive the car after while, because the car can just shut down if there is a problem (youre unaware of)/I wouldve like some type of warning sign. Long story short - I ended up parking the car for a while until I was able to buy a new car (foreign). I still love they way they look but I would never buy one again. These cars are all over Craigslist now for pretty cheap which should tell you a lot.

Lights come on all by itself. Had to disconnect battery. Dealership said I needed a module, I think that is what it was called. 1,900.00.. Kept car for 2 months. Whenever it would rain hard, my car would flood with water in the back floor board.. Now my car can sit for 2 days and I drive it, and make my stops 5 or 6 stops, get into car and car wont start, need a jump. Happened 2 times in 2 weeks. At 70,000 miles I needed a new engine. I can go on and on about the brand new Cadillac CTS that I bought brand new in 2003. I will never buy another Cadillac as long as I live. And this is just some of the problems that I have had. I havent even listed all of them. Car seat wouldnt go forward for 1 month, then it would. Gas hand would work and then it wouldnt. I honestly think that if you can call Onstar and they open your door for you, then they can do things to your car to make you bring it into the dealership. That is what I think. A 40,000.00 car you wouldnt think would give you so many problems, but I have learned my lesson. And they just called me yesterday to get me to try and trade it in for another Cadillac, Ha!!!

I purchased my first Cadillac (2015 SRX with approximately 20,000 miles) in December 2016. The CUE system was replaced in January 2017. Also in January 2017, 2 emissions related sensors had to be replaced. Later in 2017, another sensor had to be replaced. In October 2018, both front end wheel bearings and windshield washer sprayer had to be replaced at about 58,000 miles. In January 2019, the purge solenoid thingie had to be replaced at about 65,000 miles -- a recall that wasnt officially classified as a recall. In May 2019, my car wouldnt start as if the fairly new battery was dead. Dealer ran a diagnostic check. No problems were detected. Now at almost 72,000 miles, the CUE system is malfunctioning again. I am a victim of bad work performed on my vehicle by the service department
I am a victim of bad work performed on my vehicle by the service department, unethical car service practices and unheard-of customer resolution at Suburban Cadillac Plymouth, 40475 Ann Arbor Rd., Plymouth MI. I took my car in for service on 6/2/17 and the dealership had my car for over 2 months which caused me great concern. I researched the Timing Change job that was being done and learned it was a very tedious job. When I finally received my vehicle, cost $3111.01 which my warranty covered 100% but $750.00 was rolled over to me due to dealership not accepting $70 per hour labor cost and I had to make up difference. The next day while heading to work I noticed my XM Satellite radio wasn’t working. I called my Cadillac representative, ** to report the issue. He stated, “I’m sorry to hear that but that has nothing to do with the work that was done on your car and there are no loaner cars available at the time, you can schedule a loaner car but know this will be a separate issue/charge.” I explained these things were working prior to car repair and please have techs go over their work. It could have been the way they re-assembled things back together that obviously effected something else. My rep ** states to bring it in but understand no dealership responsibility and expect new charges.Upon arrival I ask to speak with the service director, **. He appeared friendly and sympathetic to what had happened to my car but agreed with his rep, **. When I ask ** to speak with someone higher up he declined and stated he is the only one that can assist. I insisted and he left the office briefly and returned with a business card of a manager under him. I was insulted and felt disrespected with the treatment of the team working together against me, the customer. He had me sign papers agreeing to check the vehicle for 130.00 fee. He gave me a loaner car and said, “Have a nice day. We will call you.”I received the call maybe a week and half later with ** asking for permission for a tech to drive my car home to ensure engine light doesn’t come back on. It is determined pass 50 miles, I gave consent. The next week ** called to say they have an estimate for my car. “The radio needs replacing cost $1600.00 because Sirius Radio stated the issue is not on their end, and by the way, while your car was being test driven something pertaining to the brakes collapsed and that will cost you $700, your total bill $2500.00 warranty doesn’t cover nor the dealership. The remainder covers the engine light and lockout issue. Let us know how you would like to proceed.”At this point I felt raped by these unheard-of business practices and called in later in an effort to reach a higher up. I left several messages on ** phone but received no call back. I was passed around the dealership and sent to voicemails with no return calls after leaving a couple messages. Much happened in between that revealed their dishonesty and how they worked together to ensure I didn’t speak with someone in authority to attend to this matter.I picked my car up today 10/3/17 paying 751.00 for the brake collapsed incident that happened while at dealership. Of course, my satellite radio still not functioning due to me declining to pay 1600.00 for a problem that occurred with them working on my car. And my computer system is now out of whack; voice commands no longer working, cd player not working, sound system poor sounding. I could have taken my car to a non-Cadillac qualified mechanic but felt Cadillac was top of line service. I am sick about the condition my car is now in. A couple of similar unethical instances happened to me within the past 2 years but were resolved satisfactorily via escalation so I continued to do business with this location but with this last instance and seeing this is a trend and now their normal practices, it’s clear I need to get the attention of someone who cares about the bottom line of the company. What Im asking for is the dealership take ownership for their work which is the right thing to do -- refund my money for the incident that occurred while they had my car (mechanic took my car home) and put my car back in the condition it arrived in, working satellite radio (which I’m paying monthly services for) and reset or adjust my computer system. Voice commands no longer work. All inside controls and functions were working perfectly prior to the major repair done on my vehicle. The work they performed had nothing to do with these issues but obviously the way they reassembled my vehicle affected these things. They tore my engine down; kept my car 2 1/2 months, something obviously went wrong.Suburban Cadillac is using dealership mechanical lingo and rhetoric to mask what really happened and it is extremely frustrating that they have charged me 3111.00 plus 750.00 within 30-days to return my car to me out of whack and satellite radio not working. The radio is fine but the XM Satellite whom I’m paying monthly subscription is no longer working after car pickup. I filed a complaint with GM website, mailed a letter to corporate and spoke with someone finally at GM Customer Care on 10/17/17. They stated they spoke with Suburban Cadillac and must believe the experts and it’s nothing they can do. She was young and appeared insincere and indifferent to what had happened to me. She spoke very fast as if reading from a script and closed the matter. So now I’m reaching out to Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General because the dealership has taken my money and left my vehicle with problems and no repair shop wants to go behind their work. Respectfully, Ripped-Off Customer.

Cadillac offer many models to choose from, which are Seville, Deville, Allante. The Deville has been my choice because of its traditional styling and clean lines. It also performs amazingly well. The appearance of my Cadillac is just breathtaking, I get looks of approval from people everywhere. It has a beautiful finish that has held up well even under the worst weather conditions. The upgrade options are electric windows and individual front electric seats where both riders can adjust their desired seat positions. My Cadillac also has the deepest plush carpet which is very comfortable. Also, my Cadillac Deville has a large passenger capacity where 6 people can be very comfortable riding in it. The all leather seats are so soft. A babys butt couldnt be any softer than they. Overall, my car is a joy to own.

2004 Cadillac Deville - The first regulator failed ($366.78) 2010, service advisor said a common problem for the vehicle. The second regulator ($319.23) failed in 2012 - different dealership service advisor said known problem for the vehicle. In 2012 I emailed Cadillac to see if they would cover these repairs. Escalated in GM several levels but ultimately they denied there was a problem - the parts not defective, the failure because they were beyond expected life cycle. Today the third regulator failed. This vehicle has 51000 miles and the rear windows were rarely used if ever. I have 3 other GM vehicles (92 Cadillac Allante, 1994 Saturn, 1998 Cad Deville) - no regulator problems.

Its a BMW with nice big wheels, a good engine, runs 15 miles, has nice beautiful windows. Gas is good. It runs really fast with a high speed limit. It is the color red with some white in it. Red cars are the best. Has a nice big stereo. However, it will need a lot of work like nicer, better, big wheels, more windows, and a different color would be nice and a better stereo, long distance and more miles. The miles could be better with more room for a bigger family. But the capacity of this car is good. It was really good experience.

I have owned Cadillacs my whole life, used to be a good car back in the day, Now I think they are made in China. In my yard I have now a 2001 DTS, a 2006 DTS, a 2008 DTS and my latest a 2013 SRX4. I bought this car at TnT moros in Lumberton NC with 77k miles, bought it on a Saturday in Feb and on Monday the cue went out. Since then it has started to spiderweb so you cannot even read it. I have been a loyal Cadillac owner for over 50 years but I am done now. I will start looking for an Acura. Anyone interested in my Cadillac collection, let me know. I will sell them all very cheap.

I bought a 2007 Cadillac CTS about 3 years ago and the car only have 51,000 miles right now and is in the dealer getting a major repair because half of the motor has no compression. The car had no oil but the engine light never turned on to let me know. And once the car stopped running, that was when the engine light finally turned on. I really dont know what good is to complain if I am not going to get the repair for free but, it would be nice if all these complaints about Cadillac go public on national television. The government bailed out GM with the tax payer money and they are still screwing up. That car was my dream car and now, its my nightmare car. I will never buy a Cadillac again.

Bought my 2013 SRX off the showroom floor. Love it, my wife drives it to work and it is garage keep. After 30,000 had to have a new battery. When the warranty ran out in July 2017, the next month the CUE system locked up and the dealer wanted 1400.00 to replace it. Then I argue and beg that I am only two months out of warranty, then they replace it for 325.00. So I did some research and found the company that makes the CUE system (Infotainment) and contacted customer service who gave me a additional warranty on the system til 2022 or 123,000 miles. Now my heated seats do not work, I am a retired GM employee of 36 years and getting disgusted with this car. I drive a 2000 Cadillac STS 97,000 miles six CD changer still works along with the radio and the heated seats are hot. All four.Updated on 01/09/2018: As stated in my previous review, I purchased this 2013 SRX off the showroom floor. And now after 50,322 miles, garage kept it is falling apart. At 30,000 new battery, 48,000 replace CUE system and now the heated seats do not work.at 50,322 miles. The Cadillac dealer wants 900.00 dollars to fix. The passenger side worked the night before I took it to the dealer (Delaware Cadillac) and now neither works. Initially the service advisor told me 1600.00, but after discussing the problem with GM, they decided to pay 50%. If they are having a problem with the heated seats it should be fully covered. I am not happy as being a GM employee of 36 years. Maybe time for a change.

I have owned my 2006 DTS for 3 years. I bought it used with 51,000 miles. It now has 142,000. The car is very comfortable to drive and ride in. I love all of the luxury features such as automatic high beams, memory seats, remote start, and XM radio. I had a roomy trunk and quiet interior. It gets between 21 and 23 mpg pretty consistently on regular unleaded. What I dont like about it is how often it needs repairs. Around 70,000 miles, I had to have the entire front suspension system essentially rebuilt, as tie rods, ball joints, and struts were worn out. I developed several oil leaks, and I have stopped trying to get those fixed. Changing front turn signal bulbs and headlights requires the front bumper be removed. Parts seem expensive. I plan to keep it for another couple of years. I doubt that I will be replacing it with another Cadillac.

I purchased a 2006 Cadillac CTS in May 2010. Since the purchase, I have had several car repairs resulting in thousands of dollars. I make sure that I receive regular oil changes and follow recommendations for Mobil 1 oil only. I have to purchase approximately 6 to 8 quarts of the oil to add to my engine between oil changes. I had my mechanic assess the vehicle and there are no leaks. The car simply drinks oil. This is quite an expense since an oil change is approximately $100 and a quart of Mobil 1 oil is $10 a quart. This is simply unacceptable. I have read many complaints where people have lost their engines over oil consumption. Its simply not fair to the consumer to have to bear this expense for a product that is supposed to be trusted. In addition to this, I am putting brakes on my vehicle (front and back) twice a year. This is unheard of. There needs to be some accountability and responsibility for the makers of this vehicle.

Bought my XT5 in December of 2020. It has been the worst thing I could have done. I traded my Lexus and I am so disappointed in Cadillac. I took it in 3 times for them to try and fix, Parking Brake, All wheel drive system, StabiliTrak, steering assist. My dash was lit up like a Christmas tree only to find out after 3 times there was a corroded wiring harness and then a bad camera. After all of that, I had a flood under my gas pedal that soaked over to the passenger side too, so I took it in a fourth time. This vehicle stalled on me driving south bound Interstate 75. I have called Cadillac customer service 3 times to report this safety issue and they have not bothered to call me back. Shame on Cadillac on the lack of response to a serious safety concern! Really regret trading my Lexus. Dont buy Cadillac!!!! They clearly do not care about safety concerns.

We have a 2014 Cadillac SRX... One of the key fobs went bad. Called our Cadillac dealership (Sunset Cadillac) and was told the cost was $200+.. Took the car in and they said it would have to be programmed, still no mention of extra charge for programming. Got the bill and the total was $447.74. Was not told the programming was extra!! $155.00 for programming. $35.00 for miscellaneous charge. We could have bought a fob off eBay for $32.00 and had it programmed for the $155.00 and been a whole lot cheaper! But since we thought Cadillac’s pricing included programming we didn’t go this route. I called the dealership the same day and vented my frustration, to no avail. On top of that they kept our old fob, which we were going to keep for the key. Not happy customers. We are in the market for a new vehicle, it will not be a Cadillac...

It is so much different than others. Such as one is made for families while others may be made for romance or business. I do not often contain passengers in my car but when I do my guests seems to love it. My model may only carry 5 passengers but overall its great. The GPS is great and it gives such accurate information. I never get lost anymore. The speakers are crisp and clear and the airbags are regularly checked. This brand has a good selection of models to choose from whether it be 4 door, one, 2 door, or sports type car. I like to have a fun car and I like to buy something that gets my friends and family attention so having a Cadillac is a eye catcher within itself and I like that. The car is totally loaded and has everything a car seeker with prestige could ask for. Its style and easy to maneuver. The color is shiny and holds its coloring so when it is dirty it does not even look that bad. The system in the car sounds good for an manufacture system. I trust the brand and I like the way it flows when I drive it and the attention I get from driving the car. I love the cd player and I like being able to take along my phone and use it in my car to hear different tracks. When new, my 2006 CTS with 3.6 liter V-6 used about 3 quarts of oil per 5000 miles. At 70,000 it was using 7 to 8 quarts per 5000 miles. At 93,000 it uses 9-10 quarts per 5000 miles. I bought an after market warranty for 8 years but kept getting the song and dance from the original service desk, and the next dealer did the same, after we moved across the country. The first dealer said oil usage was tolerable and should be ignored. Second dealer said the aluminum heads caused excessive oil use, not to worry. I told him my Toyota with well over 100,000 miles had an aluminum head and had never used a drop of oil. Then the service rep said bring it in after he was free from all these recalls and hed have a look. He said the engine would be drained and Mobil 1 synthetic oil would be put in the engine and Id have to return to the garage to get oil added so the system could be monitored. I told the service rep I had Mobil 1 five-quart jugs marked with mileage readings and I had been monitoring oil consumption since the car was new. The engine burned nothing but Mobil 1 oil. I told him repairing this engine was not an option, because it burned oil when new. It needed a different engine that would bolt in. I offered to buy an engine, but not the same 3.6 liter from Opel. He said I could schedule an appointment when the engine man came back. Had I been told the engine was from Opel, I would never have bought the car. I had to learn that on the internet. I thought Cadillac learned not to do this in the 1980s after they sold a low grade Cavalier with an Opel engine and called it a Cadillac. GM used to make good engines. Cadillac was a flagship product. What has happened? I dont blame GM, since the mistake was mine in buying a Cadillac. I recognized the decision was a big risk. But mostly Im just disappointed GM continues to market Cadillac heavily with glitz and sex appeal and make such a horrible product. How many American consumers must be duped?

When it was delivered the paint was messed up and it took so long to repair I made my first payment before I received the vehicle (paint still not perfect). It was so bad a cadillac rep had to come view it. My car since day one has occasionally shook when being crunk. The check engine light would immediately pop on, but when car was restarted it would go away. I was told several times by the dealership that they could only fix it if the check engine light stayed on.There were other issues as well, We were told by the General Manager not to worry. Cadillac would do a buyback and gives us 10% off of msrp of a new Cadillac. The dealership has since closed, getting Cadillac to do the right thing seems to be a nightmare! I got my 2013 Cadillac SRX back in March and have put several miles on it since I got it. I am at almost 54,000 miles now. Started hearing a weird sound and found out that it was my left rear wheel bearing. My warranty ran out at 50,000 so the dealership would not fix at no cost. Took it to my local garage and they fixed it at the tune of $350.00. I have never had a wheel bearing go out on any of my past cars. It is just disappointing that a car with this few miles would have an issue like this. I asked the guy at the garage what made this happen and he said usually it is from age, but that a car that is only a few years old should not have this issue. Said it was probably a defect in the bearing. If that is the case I believe that Cadillac should have repaired it at no cost to me. Love my Cadillac. It is just disappointing after only having this car for a few months. I hope other 2013 Cadillac SRX owners dont have the same problem.

I think the Cadillac is one of the most beautiful vehicles there is. They have a high class look and the interior is always immaculate. They are always one of the first to upgrade to the highest quality of merchandise and are always up to date. The technology is always high class and superb, and I am always happy with the newest gadgets they have. They offer a very good variety of cars and I was very happy when Cadillac started making bigger vehicles. I have a very big family and want to stay with the Cadillac brand but definitely needed the space. The only problem I had is my Cadillac caught on fire eight days after I had it.

Cadillac offers and includes very unique models. The one I purchased has incredible handling and speed. Its red and black with white stripes. It has black tires and white rims. It also has ornaments and tattoos. It has auto-pilot and TVs inside of it. Its personalization options are unlimited as are all the other cars Ive purchased. Ive upgraded the engine and the tires for a more rounded car. I recommend Cadillacs to all of my family and friends. Its price however is a bit unreasonable. Furthermore, the passenger capacity is not very good. You can only fit 2 people in the car including the driver. Id much rather have a 4 seater car than a 2 seater car. But it was an enjoyable experience.

New run flat tires installed on 2016 Cadillac. If they get a flat you must buy and install a new tire at a cost of $300.00 plus they cannot be repaired and this is not considered a road hazard defect under warranty description. This is not made known to the buyer as a fact until you get a flat that should cost about $30.00 to repair on all older type tires. The sad part is if you get another flat tire by a nail or anything else you would have to buy another new tire. The car does not come with a spare or tools to change your tire.

What they had then and what they have now are different. A Cadillac no matter what model is a prime car at that time and very dependable. You cant go wrong with one. This was my 1st car in 1962. It had a sleek body style with sort of mud flaps called wings which clipped on the back tires. It had everything the cadillac had to offer. Radio, heat, air which was about it back then. The car had both a front and a back full bench seat that would ride 6 to 8, very comfortable and has plenty of leg room.

Cadillac is a great vehicle that have great potential for upgrades and personalization. I like how well the vehicle drives uphill and downhill and I like the controls in the console which I can easily push the button. The passenger side of this vehicle is great and impressive. Its a great car and I cannot wait to give it a drive again. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Bought my SRX last year. I have spent over $600 have both bulbs replaced twice and now the passenger side is out again. Received a letter over the weekend about the moisture in the light itself. Took it to the dealership and was told that I needed both changed and new bulbs that would be covered by GM. Then I was told that I had to pay $1,500 to the dealership and file a claim with GM for reimbursement. WHAT A JOKE! If their certified tech at their branded dealership says they need replaced, why am I paying anything? Furthermore, EVEN IF I am to pay for something and wait for reimbursement, why is the LABOR and PARTS? The parts are coming form GM WHO IS REIMBURSING ME! Ugh.

During the last 18 months, I have had to replace all four (4) of the window regulators on my 2004 DeVille. The one on the driver’s rear was replaced on 6/17/10; that on the passenger front on 9/30/2010; the driver front window regulator was replaced on 12/31/10; and the passenger rear’s regulator was also replaced on 1/22/12. This would almost be funny if it wasnt so sad. This is fundamentally a quality issue with a supplier or a product specification issue with Cadillac. Either way, to have something like this happen to a Cadillac and 3 of the 4 within 6 months, makes me question Cadillacs commitment to overall product quality. To make matters worse, when I called Cadillac and opened a case requesting some recompense, they simply offered the canned response: “off warranty, too old and too many miles for us to be concerned with.” Well, they may have gotten the benefit of the parts sales thru the dealer (this was almost $600/regulator), but I will not buy another Cadillac. Too bad, this was my 3rd.

The vehicle owned was a Cadillac Seville. It was a great vehicle to drive around in. I really hated time caught up with it. It was a 1989 white vehicle. The ride of the vehicle was very smooth. The seats were leather and were red in color. The music system was great. It had a radio and cassette player. The tires were black with white walls. The carpet that come with the vehicle was replaced with new carpet of the same color which was red. The vehicle would seat 5 people comfortable. The seating would accommodate 3 large individuals and 2 medium size individuals with no problem. The vehicle was very personal in a sense that I owned it for so long it became part of me. One of the best vehicles.
