2026 Acura Integra
Find big savings on Acura Automobile(s) at Auto Helpers. Low Prices.
The 2026 Acura Integra is the latest iteration of a nameplate that holds a special place in automotive history. Originally known as a fun-to-drive compact performance car in the 1980s and 1990s, the Integra name has been revived in recent years as a sporty compact that blends performance, practicality, and premium features. For 2026, the Integra continues as a compelling choice for buyers who want an engaging driving experience without sacrificing everyday usability.
Design & Position in the Acura Lineup
The 2026 Integra sits below larger models like the Acura TLX and the Acura ILX, targeting buyers who want a smaller, more agile car that’s more engaging than the typical compact sedan without moving into full sports-car territory.
Acura’s design language is clearly present: sharp lines, a bold diamond-pentagon grille, sculpted bodywork, and distinctive LED lighting give the Integra a sporty and modern presence. The proportions balance sleek aesthetics with a practical cabin layout, and the overall look aims to appeal to both younger buyers and enthusiasts who remember earlier Integras fondly.
Powertrain & Performance
At the heart of the 2026 Acura Integra is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Key performance traits include:
Horsepower & Torque: Strong output for a car its size — giving it brisk acceleration and responsive throttle feel.
Turbocharged Power: Turbocharging allows the engine to deliver a good blend of everyday fuel economy and spirited performance when you want it.
Transmission: The CVT is designed to deliver smooth, seamless shifts and improved efficiency, though it trades off some of the shift-feel and mechanical engagement of a traditional automatic or manual transmission.
The Integra’s handling is tuned for agility and balance. With a sport-oriented suspension, precise steering, and a chassis that rewards confident driving, the Integra tracks corners with composure and grips confidently in everyday driving situations.
While it’s not a dedicated high-performance sports car, the Integra’s handling and powertrain deliver an engaging drive that places it above many typical compact sedans or crossovers.
Fuel Efficiency & Practicality
One of the Integra’s strengths is its balance between performance and economy:
Fuel Economy: Thanks to its turbocharged engine and CVT, the Integra returns competitive fuel economy figures relative to peers — strong for drivers who want efficiency without sacrificing fun.
Everyday Use: The Integra’s size and performance make it equally at home on the daily commute as on winding back roads. It handles city streets and highway cruising with confidence, while also offering enough pep for spirited driving.
Unlike performance-only vehicles, the Integra does not demand premium fuel to deliver its performance — an advantage for owners who want to keep running costs reasonable.
Interior & Comfort
Inside, the 2026 Integra blends comfort and technology with a sporty character:
Seating & Space: Room for up to five passengers with supportive front seats and good head/leg room in both rows — a practical solution for commuting, errands, and weekend trips.
Materials: Higher-grade upholstery and trim reflect Acura’s premium aspirations without being overly luxurious. Sportier accents and comfortable bolstering help reinforce the car’s character.
Infotainment: A modern touchscreen interface provides easy access to navigation, media, and connectivity. Wireless smartphone integration keeps passengers connected, and higher trims may offer premium audio systems.
Acura’s focus on driver comfort and ergonomics means that controls are intuitive, and visibility is good — important for everyday usability.
Technology & Safety Features
The 2026 Integra comes with a robust suite of technology and safety systems designed to enhance convenience and peace of mind:
Driver Assistance: Standard systems include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear-cross traffic alert — features that help make daily driving safer and less stressful.
Infotainment & Connectivity: Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, smartphone compatibility, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB ports are among the expected modern features.
Audio & Convenience Options: Available premium sound systems, digital instrument clusters, and upgraded comfort features help elevate the interior experience on higher trims.
Safety and connectivity are core parts of the Integra’s appeal, positioning it well against competitors that may skimp on tech at similar price points.
Trim Levels & Pricing
The 2026 Integra lineup typically includes several trims:
Base / Mid-Level Trims: These bring strong standard features — power accessories, touchscreen infotainment, basic safety tech, and stylish interior and exterior elements.
Sportier or Premium Trims: These add larger wheels, sport styling cues, better seats, upgraded audio, and more driver-assist features.
Performance-Oriented Packages: Certain trims or option packages emphasize sportier suspension tuning, aesthetic enhancements, and premium interior touches.
Pricing generally positions the Integra as more approachable than larger, more powerful rivals, but it delivers a sporty feel and premium touches that punch above its price class.
Driving Impressions & Market Position
The 2026 Acura Integra earns praise from many drivers and reviewers for:
Strengths
Engaging Driving Dynamics: Agile handling, confident steering, and a lively turbo engine give the Integra a driver-centric feel.
Daily Comfort: Good ride quality, supportive seats, and user-friendly tech make it comfortable for everyday use.
Balanced Performance & Economy: Turbocharged power combines with competitive fuel economy — strong for its class.
Modern Interior Tech: Effective infotainment and safety systems help make the Integra feel current and well-appointed.
Areas for Consideration
Transmission Feel: The CVT offers smooth efficiency but may feel less engaging than a traditional automatic or a slick manual.
Not a Dedicated Sports Car: While sporty, the Integra is designed as a fun, dynamic compact sedan — not an all-out high-performance machine.
Cabin Materials: Premium but not ultra-luxury — well-appointed, but those seeking a true high-end feel might prefer larger luxury brands.
Overall, the Integra stands out in its segment because it offers genuine sportiness without compromising comfort or everyday usability.
Who the 2026 Acura Integra Is Best For
The 2026 Integra is ideal for drivers who:
Want a sporty compact car with engaging handling and a modern turbo engine.
Value fuel efficiency and practicality alongside performance.
Prefer a car that’s fun to drive on back roads yet comfortable on the daily commute.
Appreciate premium features and safety tech without paying luxury-car prices.
Enjoy a car that feels more dynamic and responsive than typical compact sedans or small crossovers.
It’s a sweet spot between practicality and performance — offering the excitement of a sporty compact and the everyday comfort of a modern commuter car.
Bottom Line
The 2026 Acura Integra succeeds in its mission to be a fun, sporty, and practical compact sedan. With peppy turbocharged performance, agile handling, modern technology, and a well-appointed interior, it stands out in a crowded segment. Whether you’re a driving enthusiast who wants a spirited car for weekend outings or someone who needs a comfortable and efficient daily driver, the Integra offers a compelling balance of personality, value, and everyday usability.

Buy Acura Automobile 2026 Acura Integra
Having purchased 5 new Acura from Crest Acura in Syracuse NY I expected some consideration for being a very loyal sales and SERVICE customer. When considering purchase of a sixth Acura I encountered Jim **, a very disappointing encounter. Upon having my TL (purchased new at Crest and fully serviced at Crest) looked at for trade in, I was offered far less than book value. When I questioned this, I was told by Mr. ** that he couldnt pay more for my car than he could buy one for at an auction, no consideration for a one owner fully serviced Acura from his dealership. He then challenged me to visit a competing dealership to determine if I could get a better deal. I did and I did. Upon learning that I had traded elsewhere Mr. ** spent 5 minutes running my new vehicle into the ground and telling me how unhappy I will be. What a very sad individual he is. He could have saved a very loyal customer if he had used appropriate business protocol. An example: Im sorry you arent happy Joe, what can I do to correct the problem? No he acted like a spoiled child who didnt get his way and totally ruined a good relationship.Ive been in business for 35 years and have handled a number of complaints. Ive found that attacking the complainer, defending your behavior does nothing for the business except lose a potential client, something Mr. ** easily accomplished via his negative behavior. He could have saved me had he been a professional rather than a spoiled child who doesnt belong where he is. You can be right but wrong and you can be wrong and be wrong. Whos the real loser here?
Paint is falling off rear bumper. What once appeared to be a little scratch has spread to become an ugly scar. I would assume that the paint would be more durable than this.
Before I purchased my Acura, I had a VW Passat and although the VW ran good, the upkeep was ridiculous. I had to get breaks and it cost me 1200! The final straw was that the rear privacy screen was broke and would not retract. I hardly ever use it so I was mind blown as to how it would break on its own, even more mind blown when VW said that they couldn’t fix it, only replace for $600. After that, I traded that VW in and purchased my 2008 Acura TL. I have made that car for 11 Years and have never had any major issue, just the normal wear and tear stuff but as far as reliability, they can’t be beat! I was rear-ended a couple years back and ran into the car in front so I had both rear and front damage. Insurance totaled the car cause it cost more to fix than what it was worth. They paid me $8000 for it and I kid you not, it still runs. I got a new hood and had someone paint and it STILL runs without any issues, even after being totaled and now having over 150,000 miles! Since then, I have purchased at 2017 ACURA MDX and it’s awesome. Fully loaded with all the amenities for thousands less than what you’d get from BMW or Mercedes. You just can’t go wrong with Acura or Honda!
We purchased our Mdx new knowing it was considered a luxury car and expecting it to last a long time without having any major problems. This car has been garage kept and only has 51 K miles on it! Three years ago the AC quit working - that cost several hundred dollars to get repaired. A few days ago the power steering quit. Luckily my husband was driving because he said I would never have been able to steer it safely off the road. He added the correct Honda fluid 3 times in order to make it home. Now we are being told it needs a whole new rack & pinion! How can a luxury car with only 51 K mile need a rack and pinion! We have owned many cars in the last 40 years and have never had to replace this part. The under side of the car is also all rusty. What else will go bad? Poor reliability for what is supposed to be a luxury car. Will not buy another one.
I own a 2006 Honda Pilot and 2009 Honda Accord with over 260,000 miles and no major issues. I decided to upgrade to an Acura considered their luxury brand and I am living to regret it. I have owned a 2012 Acura TSX for 4 years - kept up with routine maintenance and lucky me I have had issue after issue costing me thousands. I have had to replace the CV joints, converter, power steering control module and the transmission. Overall costs to date - $9500 and not done yet. My Hondas are still working and my Acura TSX - is constantly breaking down. Such a nightmare. Will never purchase another Acura. Buyer beware!!
I have a 2012 Acura RDX with technology package and only 24,000+ miles on the vehicle. I financed the vehicle in May of 2015 at the end of my 3 year lease and purchased Acura Care for over $2,000 should anything go wrong with vehicle to make sure it is still under warranty. Needless to say, the positive end of the battery cable became so eroded that the cable became loose and was very thin. I have kept up with the regular maintenance but for whatever reason, the battery terminal was never serviced by the technician. The car could not start and I thought the battery was dead. I purchased an after market battery and drove it to Acura dealership on Nostrand Ave in Brooklyn, NY so they could diagnose the problem. It was determined that the cables could have been eroded by environmental factors and the battery needed replacement. Acura replaced the battery since it was still under the 4 year or 50,000 miles original warranty but they stick me with the $400 replacement cost of the battery cable since it is not covered under the original warranty nor under Acura Care. I find this outrageous, since a premium vehicle should not have its cable corroded in less than 4 years. I told the Customer Service case manager that I also have a 2006 Toyota Rav 4 with under 47,000 miles and have never had any issue with the battery cable. They keep referring to environmental factors as a result of the corrosion and therefore not covered since that is not a defect in the cable itself. The car is driven in Brooklyn over 95% of the time with a few trips to CT and 2 trips to Montreal, Canada. The cost of a new premium car, Acura Care for $2000+ and now $400 for battery cable replacement for a vehicle that is not 4 years old yet. Please advise if anyone else has this issue with Acura. They should be held liable for inferior accessories.
MDX is a nice mid size SUV and the RDX offers more seating. The TSX is a smaller sportier sedan. We have the TSX. The dealership also has a lifetime supply on Acura grade cleaner for the exterior and interior as well as superb customer service. Very sleek and stylish. Definitely looks like a luxury vehicle. The leather has not cracked at all and the paint has stayed in perfect condition. You can upgrade pretty much anything from upholstery to wheels to the technology inside the car. Bluetooth aux output plus Bluetooth ability to hook up and play music without any cords. While other models of Acura may be roomier we chose the TSX. We bought it fully knowing that there was not going to be much room. One kid fits well in the backseat with maybe one additional person.
Got the car in July 4. To start it is a beautiful car but first day of having the car had to call because the rear cargo door every time it opened sound like a whale and the cooling on the seat was making noise. When I came back they tell me they have to leave the car because they need to order parts and the head liner has to come down in order to change the hinge. I talk to someone about getting a new car that was less than a week and they were like, You put miles on it, in which I replied, Of course I have to use it to go to work, otherwise I can’t pay the car, but they refused. Resolution on that was replacing the hinge and the seat. It was a plastic that was never removed and was making the noise. Now around September I start hearing noise from the brakes and took the car on October for oil change and ask them about it and they said there was a service bulletin to replaced the rotors because it is a known issue. Got rotors replaced and they still make noise. Call them about it and they tell me I have to deal with it until they come up with a fix because the service bulletin did not fix that issue and they are working on it. Now today is December 5 and the screen does not turn on then I try again and again and it finally came on but is stuck on the Acura disclaimer turn on and off the car and the screen now remains turn on on the disclaimer screen killing my battery. Called SPRINGFIELD ACURA again about it and they tell me again that they know about the issue and to disconnect the battery terminals for 15 minutes. First off I don’t have personal tools to do that. Second I am in warranty. If I touch it they will blame it on me. Apparently the engineers they have are not doing a good quality check on their work and for a luxury top brand of Honda like Acura very terrible service.
I have been given the royal runaround today and all I want is to make my 2007 Acura RL safe for me and my family. I was contacted to by your customer no service, reference case number **, and the drive side and passenger airbags that need to be replaced. I was told I could get a rental car to use until parts became available and to contact Sons Acura to set this up. This was wrong or at least Sons Acura say so. So they told me to call 888-234-2138 and press opt 3 to arrange for the rental. The person at opt 3 told me to call Sons Acura, so I called them back. Sons Acura then told me that they saw where I had requested the airbags to be ordered in back in July, but they were not in. They also said that Honda of America is wrong and they are not giving rental cars to those people with airbags that can kill them. I dont want your car anymore. I dont want to die or my family to get hurt either!
It serves the purpose and really is all that is needed. It is stylish and yet passes safety tests. The car steers well and is smooth on the road. It has a lot of extras on the body and inside. I feel proud to drive it. Sometimes I just get in it and drive just for the pleasure it provides. It is leather on the inside and has a stylish sunroof. Also there are a lot of ways it can be personalized from top to bottom. It can come in several colors and personal choices. The tires can be upgraded along with the stereo system. There are lots of room with a total of five people. The belts and the seats are comfortable. It sits well and has lots of room upfront as well as in the rear.
Experienced total steering failure. Extremely dangerous, apparently a more wide scale problem and they don’t seem to care people could die. Upwards of $3500 to get it fixed! This is on a 4 year old upscale vehicle (Acura TL). This dealer (Hertrich Acura) especially does not care after purchasing 6 cars among me and family. Car was impeccably maintained but if you don’t service the vehicle at their overpriced garage you can forget it. It does have a 109k miles on it but that’s a break in period for other upscale brands! Stay away!
The Acura I purchased was sporty and fun to drive. It had all the safety features I wanted as well as most of the options I was looking for within my budget. I had bought a sport coupe, but even with the 2 doors, the back seat had ample leg room for anyone sitting back there. I was pleasantly surprised how roomy the car was. The upgrades I got were rear spoiler, power sunroof, and leather interior. All other options I wanted were standard features with the model I chose. There is a good selection offered by Acura, however, they could diversify their cars a little more. They should offer a more affordable selection of sport coupes.
I purchase an Acura RDX 2017 in Dec. 2016. There is a whining sound when I drive around 60 km/hr. This is quite annoying especially since this the average speed when driving in residential areas. No one seems to know the cause of this sound. Has anyone else experienced this annoying sound. Acura will not give me a replacement vehicle and I only have 588 km on this car.
I contacted Sons Acura in Morrow, GA. My 2011 Acura TL would not start. Unsure as to what it could be, I contacted the dealership (this is my 2nd Acura TL from this dealer). The receptionist stated that at 6:03, there was no one to assist me with a service question. I then asked for someone in sales to assist. I explained that I was stranded with a 2 months old. She stated, Oh well. She didnt know what to do. I hung up and contacted the Acura dealer in Atlanta Ed Voyles. I spoke to a Jimmy **, the service manager. He asked me questions, figured that it was my battery, gave me the number to roadside assistance and called me back to make certain I was helped. He was the best. I will no longer have my Acura TL serviced at Sons Acura 7060 Jonesboro Rd Morrow, GA 30260-2905, 770-968-5252. I will be going in to formally file a complaint.
Acura offers everything from sport utility vehicles, sedans and coupes. Very wide selection of quality vehicles that are reliable, stylish and dependable. There is something for everyone. Acura vehicles are very up to date and comparable to other makes of the same kind. Available upgrade options are extensive on all models, the options are designed to accommodate all drivers... With all the latest technology everyone is sure to find something to satisfy their needs. These vehicles are roomy and spacious with room to seat all passengers and the driver comfortably while also leaving ample room for cargo or other items.
I am faithful Honda buyer. Currently, I own a 97 Prelude, 08 Accord V6, 08 Pilot and a 07 Acura MDX. Of all these cars, the MDX has been the worst in quality. First, there was the left suspension that rattles at 12k miles. My dealership (Continental Acura of Naperville) took countless of trips to diagnose the problem; they replaced the whole front left suspension, rear left suspension, re-did the brakes and after 6 visits, it was determined that the battery holder was cracked. Now, the car has 33k miles and the oil sensor switch has malfunctioned. In all my years of owning cars ranging from 0 miles to 200k miles, this has never happened. My car is past the warranty, so I am out of pocket $230. However, if you do a bit of research online, Acura has had this issue with 07-11 MDX, but did not issue a recall on the system. I own a 08 Honda Pilot and I have never had any issues. If you are considering buying an MDX, I employ you to take a look at their cheaper sister, Honda, who has better service and quality. And if luxury is what you really want, then go check out a Lexus. This is not a biased view, but rather a fact from US News and World Report, Motor Trend and Edmunds. I also talked to a US rep (1-800-382-2238, if anyone else needs it). There’s no help on the matter, just an apology for the poor product.
As an owner of an Acura MDX I must express my sincere disappointment with the companys customer service (or lack thereof). The dealer from whom I bought my car lost its contract with Acura. (This can happen.) Acura has never contacted me to advise as to where I should take the vehicle for warranty work. The nearest Acura dealer is a 2 hour (one way) drive for me, but an certified Honda dealer is only 10 minutes away.Acura now sends me a recall notice informing me a bolt needs to be replaced. The Honda dealer tells me they can do the work, but it will be covered by Acura only with prior authorization. Acura denies authorization and will require me to undertake a 4 hour trip to effect this recall. Oh and it took Acura 4 weeks and multiple calls on my part to decide my request to deal with the Honda dealer would be denied. Never once did Acura return my call. Oh. Acura did send me a letter to wish me a Happy Anniversary in recognition of my Acura Ownership. Based upon their lack of caring, and lack of responsiveness, I would never purchase another Acura!
I have been giving business to Acura since 2010 and I bought one TL, leased TL/RLX. You could say that I was a loyal Acura customer. Least as I had expected, Acura stole my money and screws me up. When I was leasing the 2014 RXL I signed out auto-payment via my checking account; for fear of continuing charges from my checking account. I asked my bank (Citibank) to stop the auto payment in November, 2015 and I had been sending checks every month since until I traded the 2014 RXL to 2016 RLX in May, 2016 in Acura of Westchester and as usual, the dealer pays off the remain value and I signed a new lease with Westchester Acura. So I thought, and you will think as well, that the 2014 RLX car is left behind me. Lo and behold, in July 2018, I received a letter both from Acura Financial services and collection agency charging me $1651.98. When I first called Acura Financial service, a man with British accent told me that I did not pay the last month payment (which is strange, even it were true that I did not pay the last payment, it would only be $825.99, not $1651.98). When I called them back again from my vocation on 07/31/18, Acura financial told me a totally different story -- Because Acura overcharged me 3 months (twice of $825.99), I called my bank and the bank reversed the overcharge. Now Acura wants me to pay extra money, when in fact that the dealer had already bought off the older car and I am under new lease over 2 years! Acura had overcharged me more than 3 months and only month even charged me 3 TIMES! That is stealing because by contract, I only authorized Acura to charge me once a month! Not only that Acura lying to me by saying that they had been trying to contact me during the past 2 years, which is the biggest lie in the world -- because I have never received any mail/call regarding the 2014 RLX until July, 2018 and I have been paying the monthly payment of the 2016 RLX every month. I called Westchester Acura and spoke with the General Manager who was angry as well and states that he will contact Acura Financial Services in the morning. Regardless what outcome it will be, I have lost trust and confidence towards Acura and would like to share this experience with you guys, especially the potential buyers -- stay away from Acura unless you want to be screwed up and potentially have your credit scores affected negatively and being bullied and discriminated like this! I plan to go to court if this matter is not resolved. Watch out giving business to Acura! Watch your wallet because Acura may steal from you like what they did to me!
Acura has cars and SUVs. The cars range from sporty to convenient. My husband and I both drive Acura. My Integra is very spacious and comfortable. I have fit 4 people and a car seat in my Integra, and everyone had enough room to move around. There was wiggle room, enough leg space which is very important especially when traveling. I love all the features the car has. I also love how safe I feel in the car, considering I have a newborn child. My Integra is very personal. With it being a new car, I can set my phone up through Bluetooth and answer calls in the car, through the speakers, which is very important to me, be wise of work, but also safer.
I’ve purchased a used 2005 Acura TL with 69K miles on it. At 96K miles the transmission blew out, it was a $4000 bill to rebuild the transmission. My AC compressor had to be changed. The tension pulley had to be changed. The battery dies if the car is not turned on daily or in cold winter months (I live in Houston, we don’t have severe weather). It has a new battery and the alternator is just fine, we never could establish what the battery issues were. The car will lock you out since it automatically locks, the mirrors shift while driving. The dashboard has cracks. I happily sold the car to a junkyard for $500, I just couldn’t wait to get rid of it. I maintain my cars regularly and only put less than 20 miles a day on it. I didn’t expect all these issues with less than 100k miles on it. Never getting an Acura again.
2016 Acura TLX only 69000 miles noise coming from timing belt, after taking to dealership the dealer came back that they don’t know what happened but the noise of coming from one of bully’s rubbing on the cover /camshaft so they will be installing a SHIM, what kind of repair is this? A 2016 acura cover under till 70K warranty. The dealer come back and said this will not be covered even though they will be taking the timing belt off and installing their SHIM. Called Acura. 3 hours on the phone and all they did and will do is give me the run around. Very disappointing with Acura.
2012 Acura TL Power steering fails. From the airbag recall to the transmission recall I can handle. Now the fact that my power steering suddenly seizes and leaves me in the middle of an intersection with a non functional vehicle I cannot handle. The answer? Pay to have the EPS replaced. Now, going on blogs this is a COMMON issue and should be a recall warranty issue! Not self pay. Someone is going to die until Acura/Honda notices. Its not right. I have been a Honda or Acura owner for years. I will tell you, this will be my last. It is dangerous and someone will die then they might listen.
Looking at all of the reviews that preceded the one I am writing, I think the problem is that Honda Corp. has allowed itself to become Americanized. The service culture of North America has increasingly taken over the company and it is behaving more like a GM, FORD or Chrysler. The pedantic, customer-oriented style of Japan has slowly been wrung out of Honda North America. My Acura 2008 MDX which I purchased as a certified model in late 2011 has been a basket of problems. Poor shocks (which they wont acknowledge), tire replacement after just 25,000 miles, a GPS system that needed to be replaced, battery that failed quite conveniently after its warranty expired, a power tailgate that didnt operate properly, a failure of a relay that affected the Air Conditioning are just a few of the problems. The ride on my MDX is very rough and I cant figure out why. Most have been taken cover under the warranty - but its a pain to keep going into the shop. I thought the whole idea buying a premium SUV was that as long as you did the regular maintenance, this type of thing wasnt supposed to happen. This is certainly the case with Mercedes E350 that I own and my previous Lexus RX 350 (which was a fantastic vehicle). The service culture at the dealerships is okay but it feels more like a Ford dealership than a Lexus or Mercedes dealership. The other day, their shuttle driver forgot that my son had been waiting for 45 minutes for a lift home and he ended up having to get home on his own. It was an innocent mistake but the problem was indicative of some structural problems. Again, this is okay for a middle value car but for a company that is holding itself out as a premium company, its not acceptable. Its unlikely Ill buy an Acura again. Ill go back to Lexus where frankly the product and after market service was just a league above. To put in airline terms, Acura feels like premium economy not business class. I dont know if anyone at Acura reads these reviews, but someone should start paying attention. There is a lot of competition out there. Finally, the weird thing is that whenever I send my car in for servicing, I get assailed for customer feedback. Yet when I sent an email on this, there was still no response. Hopefully, our reviews are taken seriously by someone who has some influence within Acura.
Love my Acura RDX. Acura has great customer service and I have not had any issues with it since I bought it. Its reliable and stylish with features I love. I will definitely be buying another Acura when I decide to buy another vehicle. I love the backup camera. The technology package is amazing. I like having a built in gps. I like the driver one and driver two settings so the car is always set for my favorites when it recognizes my key. The gas mileage could be a little better though.
Acura continues to advertise that the ILX has more headroom than the TSX, and many competitors. I have been to Acura Headquarters and they refuse to discuss this. I wonder what else they are lying about?
I have several complaints about Acura and to be more specific, both Acura of Bay Shore and Acura Company. I leased a RDX in 2015. They deceived me in every possible way. Before I went to Acura I had a lease through Nissan and I had 5 months left on that lease. Allison, the sales rep, repeatedly told me that they would pay the 5 months I had on my previous lease as part of the deal. Needless to say, they added the amount of those 5 months to the new lease. The day I sign the contract I was in a hurry and I did not want to go through the whole process and I took responsibility and I am paying for what they told me they would do.One of the selling points was, or is, that Every time you bring your vehicle for service we will wash it for you. Well give you a free car wash every time. When I brought the truck for the first service, I dropped it in the morning around 8am. I did not hear from them until I called around 3:00pm. They said it would be ready in 45 min. When I received the truck it had noticeably some drops of water and all the dirt that it came with when I drop it. So I called the service person. When I showed to him the quality of the job done, he offered to take it back to wash it. Once again, they did not deliver on their promise and deceive me again. And the most recent complaint, which is no fault of Acura of Bay Shore but Acura as a Company, is that due to the recall on the Takata airbag used on my Acura RDX, I have been trying to reach Acura to work with me. My RDX has been parked for a month now and will be until the dealership receives the parts to replace which could be 3 month or a year, according to service manager. In the meantime, they provided me with a rental, a Kia Sedona. I have tried to get a different car, something comparable to what I am paying for. It hurts to pay $475.00 a month and drive a $200.00 dollar a month truck. After one month the car rental place contracted by Acura claims that, they dont have any SUVs available. I have called the Acura Relations Department to negotiate my monthly payments, to lower or stop for the time I am not using the car. They told me they cannot do anything for me and I am to fulfill the contract by paying my monthly lease of $475.00 for something I cant use. I have not been late with any payments since I entered into this contract with Acura. I have fulfill my obligation but ACURA HAS FAIL TO PROVIDE ME WITH A SAFE CAR. I dont expect to resolve this issues in my favor at this point. I just hope that whoever is reading this THINKS TWICE before dealing with Acura Company.
New car but I love it! The ride is smooth and comfortable. Gas mileage is good. I have had the car for a little over a month. It has a luxurious feel and ride. I only have positive things to say about the Acura.
Super dependable car and have never let me down. The gas mileage is super good for long rides... love all of the different styles and brands this car have to offers. And very spacious. I would recommend this car if you have a large family of at least 5. Lots of storage and very comfortable seat to ride with joy and peace. The passenger cap of mines is up to six people to sit. And another great thing that I like about it is that there still leg room to move around. The car that I have is more like a crossover and thats the great thing that I like about it the most. Also it came fully loaded, with seat warmers and a 6 disc DVD players.
My family has been a loyal Honda customer for 30+ years and 6+ Honda cars. Weve loved their reliability and dependability. That being said, it is unfortunate that I have had a negative experience with most my recent vehicle. I drive a certified pre-owned 2012 Acura TL Tech Package, which I purchased in 2014. Since the purchase, the car has driven very well, showing no indication of any issues. Though I purchased this vehicle in a metroplex, I live in a rural area. I drive 60 miles round-trip to and from work. Last Wednesday, while driving on a rural highway between offices, the car lost all power without any warning traveling at 75mph. The RPM dial went crazy, and then the check engine lights flickered (check charge system, check ABS, check VSA). Luckily, I was able to pull over to the shoulder. I let it run, hoping it would stay on until I could get assistance. After about 5 minutes, it shut down completely. I was stranded in between 2 small towns on a rural highway with spotty cell phone coverage plus the inconvenience of missing work. I could not restart the car—absolutely no lights came on. Thankfully, I was able to contact a tow service to tow the car back to my house (28 miles away). I assumed the battery was the issue and replaced it, which worked for 5 minutes before it was completely drained. I live 350 miles from the nearest Acura dealer, so I had to tow it there. When I got it to Acura on Saturday, they ran diagnostics on the car and determined it was a faulty alternator, covered by my extended warranty and fixed the problem. My main concern with this situation is that there was no warning whatsoever to alert me of a problem. Had I been alerted, I would have acted proactively to prevent this from occurring, especially since I live so far from a dealer. I can only imagine how much worse this could have been had it happened in the middle of the night in this rural area, or if this happened on a 5-lane highway in a big city during the morning or evening commute. When I mentioned the lack of warning to the Acura service guy, he said, “Sometimes there is no warning on these things.” That is a problem. There should always be some form of warning before a relatively new vehicle is malfunctioning. Acura needs to determine why their vehicles are not warning the drivers of potential repairs for the safety of its drivers and all other drivers.
Not many different models, but there are great colors and have different engine sizes. The car itself was great looking and I loved the easy going body. It didnt look like some weird spaceship like other cars look. The car had a nice sleek looking dash and is easy to clean too. My immediate space, and front seat passenger space was nice and did not feel confined. However the backseat was small and not very comfortable. Also, whenever I had issues with my car, the parts were very expensive and that was the downside for myself.
On 6/23/10, I experienced transmission failure from my 2002 Acura MDX and brought it to an Acura dealership. I was not informed of the recall issued 4/15/04 impacting transmissions for this year and model and was quoted for full replacement. Therefore, I had rebuilt at another facility due to cost at Acura dealership. Then on 8/14/11, I was traveling back from a trip and my transmission locked up on the highway almost resulting in a crash. I had to have the car towed 215 miles back to the transmission shop that serviced the vehicle. After further research, I identified that this issue was a result of the gear shift becoming too hot at a high speed, causing the transmission to grenade inside. This was exactly what is described as the defect consequence in the recall information. Due to the faulty transmission design, an additional jet oil kit is needed in order to ensure the transmission functions properly to allow fluid to flow through the transmission and dissipate heat. I placed a claim with Acura product services because both transmission issues were due to overheating of the gears. They denied my case and did not even contact the two shop references verifying both transmission issues were a result of this.
Ive had the Acura RL for a while. It is the first car in many years that I still love to drive. The design is awesome, the performance is awesome, and it has been very low maintenance, even though Im almost up to 200,000 miles!!
Dealership totaled my car while in for repair and tried to hide it, they tried to pay me off not to leave reviews. 9/5/17 I received a call from the service department saying my car was involved in an incident at the shop that they had found that morning. I was told that they were unsure the extent of the damage at that time. I sent my mom down to get important papers out of my glove box as I was unable to get there. When she arrived, she found someone still working on the car and she opened the glove box to it full of water rushing out like a fish tank being dumped over. The next day I went down to the dealership to see my car myself and speak to management. We met with George who promised to bend over backwards to help me.I was continually pushed aside and treated like I was a nuisance. Once their insurance finally claimed it a total loss (over a week later) I then was left to do all the work, I had to fight for 104 days to get my car paid off. This was daily calls and emails and hundreds of hours of work. When it came time to get me into a new vehicle I was shuttled back and forth between salesmen (who were all friendly but couldnt help) and the 2012 that was comparable to my MDX was sold before I could get there to see it the next morning. I was hopeful theyd cut me a great deal on a replacement vehicle for all Id been through but alas all I got was a lousy $1000 off the price (something anyone could haggle down) and still paid over blue book, and 15% off floor mats and I had to pay for moldings to be put on to cover all the scratches on the passenger side. To get the $1000 off I had to fight for $250 of it and was told by Gene **, Fine if its a fight over $250 Ill do it just to get you done and out of here. He was incredibly rude to me and honestly I shouldnt have proceeded with the purchase of the new car especially since the only viable option was a 2015 MDX that now costs me an extra $150 per month and I had to start payments all over again.Once my car was paid I reached out to the dealership to try to work out some compensation for my time and losses like new tags, paying double insurance while I fought to get my car paid off, and interest accrued during that time. I sent a certified letter to George, and Gene called me in return, I asked to hear from George who refused to contact me and I never heard from again. I then put a complaint in with the BBB because I was receiving no response. George blank told the BBB they bent over backwards to help me and there was nothing more they could do.I then contacted Acura corporate directly (who were wonderful by the way) and they couldnt believe how I had been treated and they tried to help me. They arranged a call with the dealership which was between me, Acura and Gene. Gene again was not very friendly in his tone and took no responsibility for what had happened. His apology is, We are sorry this happened, and that WEVE had to deal with this. He finally offered me some compensation for my loses. $1000 with the stipulation that I leave no negative reviews and do not discuss the dealership negatively. And 3 years free oil changes (no way would I bring my car back to them).I refused his offer because I believe people need to know that while I was fighting the insurance I found out from their own tech and from their incident report I had to collect, MY CAR WAS ACTUALLY TOTALED 4 DAYS PRIOR TO THEM CONTACTING ME AND THEY TRIED TO HIDE IT!! Ive collected thorough documentation on all the events that occurred, and it is now my mission to warn people about this dealerships poor business practices. There are good people that work there that if they could have would have helped me more; these people are Bob **, Chris ** and Matt in sales.
I bought a new 1991 Acura Integra LS on 7 Dec. 1991. With the purchase, I received several warranties. One of the warranties included the free replacement of a 2nd muffler. I have been a loyal customer of McConnell Acura for 20+ years. I took my car in for service on 17 July and asked the advisor to check the engine because the car was difficult to start. I also asked the advisor to check the AC and muffler. The technician found faulty spark plugs and a clogged PVC hose and valve. They also wanted to retrofit my AC from R12 to R134A. The car is in good shape, so I agreed. The advisor did not mention anything about the muffler. When I picked my vehicle up and paid the invoice, I asked the advisor if there was a replacement warranty on a 2nd muffler. She stated that she had asked her management and there was a replacement warranty on the older vehicles. I called McConnell Acura on 24 July 2012 to schedule an appointment to have my muffler checked. I spoke with another advisor. She scheduled my appointment for 27 July 2012 at 10am. When I arrived on 27 July, the Acura service advisor called the Honda service advisor and based on their conversation, she told me that the muffler replacement warranty covered rust and leaks in the muffler. I gave her the key and went to the waiting area. After about 30 minutes, the advisor came and told me that I did not need a muffler. There were no leaks or rust. I asked again when I reached the counter and she confirmed that there were no rust or leaks. I asked for a printout and left.I was skeptical of McConnell Acuras determination because I felt I was being ignored and dismissed. So, the afternoon of 27 July 2012, I went to another auto shop and took pictures of my muffler that shows rust, deterioration and a hole. I am only asking McConnell Acura to honor a warranty agreement that was made almost 21 years ago when I bought the vehicle.
There are different models which suits the need of different people. Inexpensive maintenance cost and nice luxurious interior without the cost of an arm and leg. The Acura has a sleek design and available in many colors. There are many available features with a modern design and technology advanced. Also, theres an easy one push start up to warm up car in advance. Basic feature work fine although there are optimal advance upgraded features. Also, they have cheaper upgrades compared to other brands and the ability to customized based on ones needs. There is enough space for what I need. But would like more leg space without buying a bigger car. Passenger seating is close if sitting in center tier. Overall, worth the cost.
I love everything about my Acura - from all of the safety features to the the storage to the comfort. The speakers are top of the line and the stereo sounds wonderful. You can upgrade OnStar and Sirius radio which is awesome. I love the color, the seats are very comfortable and the trunk has a wonderful space. Seat warmers and camera options can also be upgraded which is really cool as well. Not only do you have the standard 4 seats but you have to appreciate the middle seating being very spacious. Your guests have lots of leg space. Youll love this car.
Bought the Acura TL as a CPO. Good value. No real issues except for a couple of minor computer parts that needed to be replaced. Now have 127k miles on it and have owned it for 9 years. 2005 model year. Best body style... Do not like the newer ones, style wise.
The Acura Integra is a very nice car. I purchased it earlier in life and it was a blast. Highly recommended. I loved the interior and the exterior. The interior was very sleek. The knobs were also sleek and slim. All the features were good. I didnt like the power of the a/c though, but it was bearable. I upgraded it a lot; rims, tires, exhaust, engine, suspension, etc. The upgrades were very high end and it roared. I loved it. But, the whole car felt small. I could easily fit two passengers in the front but if I tried to put another two in the back it would be less spacious.
I bought a new 2014 MDX AWD w/ Tech Package. 1st the Tech Package sensors stop working as soon as the temp. reaches anything beyond 103 degrees. Then, I got a pinhole leak in my radiator that Acura refused to take care of under the warranty. It turned out the design is changed to expose the radiator to the elements. Bad engineering is all I can say. Acura, I have news for you, it gets hot in Arizona and cars will encounter debris on roads. Your design should withstand both. Own up to your mistakes in designs and fix our cars.
Transmission problem at 101,*** miles - bought the car (2002 Acura MDX) used with 55k. Car was reliable until I saw my temp sensor trigger while driving on the freeway. I live in the desert so extremely hot temperatures are common. From what Ive read from former Acura mdx buyers is that transmission failures are common and inevitable. I made sure that the scheduled maintenance was performed to prevent the transmission failure. Im disappointed that even though my transmission had the oil jet kit that supposed to help lubricate gears inside I still have the transmission problem. Acura quoted me 4k dollars to fix it and my transmission specialist wants 3k. I feel like Acura should have these transmission replaced for free especially if you do your scheduled maintenance with them. Im going back to Toyota/Lexus.
The ILX is a nice small car with good electronic features. The TL, TLX and many other Acura models have very nice exterior and interior designs and it isnt too small or too big and has nice seats that arent easily damaged. The cars work very well and have great helping technology. The upgrade options are very good just a little pricey, the upgrade includes extra things for the car to make it look and perform better which adds onto an already great car. Acuras are very good for family, you can fit 5 people in it which is a good size, there is enough space to take little road trips.
I have a 2010 Acura TL, 6 weeks ago while making a turn the driver side CV Axle cracked and broke disabling the car. I had it towed, $150 30 miles to my mechanic. It took 4 weeks to find a replacement CV Axle. Dealers couldnt get them. Apparently there were only 500 of these Axle setups made for this model - there were 12 available in the entire USA. I was lucky to get one I am told. Now just a week later, my passenger side did the same thing. CV Axle broke. These cars are garbage!!! I am told it could be as long as 8 months, by the dealer mind you, to locate and get a part from Honda!! I am out of a car. Piece of garbage!!! Sell yours and get a well made car, Tonka, Hyundai or Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet!! Anything but this crap!
I purchased a 2008 Acura TL new. The car was well maintained and garage stored. Within several years the perforated leather seats began to split. I had to have them replaced. The car was in great condition otherwise so I spent the money to replace them. A couple years later I noticed a crack on the right side of the dash. The crack grew and has expanded to multiple cracks. I have never experienced this with a car and would certainly not expect it from a brand known for quality and luxury yet when I did an internet search I discovered that it is a common problem with the Acura. Buyer beware.
I was driving on the freeway at about 60 MPH, keeping up with morning traffic on US101N, when my ACURA MDX 2011 suddenly stalled. I was pressing my foot on the accelerator but it would not go faster; in fact, it started slowing down. I was able to coast off to an exit, luckily, and then the car completely stalled, and would not start back up again. The dealership, Acura of Marin happened to be right there, and I had bought the car from them, Certified used, just 5 months prior. Although the service department was really great, and my car was under warranty, I sold the car back to them at a loss. Turned out it was a faulty/defective fuel pump. They called it bad; I call it defective. I was lucky that neither my children and I who were in the car, nor anyone else got hurt at the time of incident. No warning lights ever came on. Would not buy another Acura again.
My Acura MDX is a really great car. It was used to us, but was a great buy and is still to this day running smooth. We take it to the dealership for maintenance. But Id change the exterior color because there are a lot of the same models that are the same color out there on the road and in parking lots. But for a 2004 car, its awesome. Even in the snow and ice! We always knew we wanted this model, we just had to wait for the right one to come along. They just hold up when taken care of. The interior craftsmanship has held up. Very safe.
Acura offers vehicles for whatever your reason and needs. They offer the TL models, TSX, ILX, sedan. SUVs include the RDX and MDX. Sedan models seat up to 5 people. SUV models can seat up to 8 people and plenty of room for cargo and can be adjusted for smaller families as well. Their cars are very sporty and luxurious. Clean lines and sharp features are often found in these brands. Comes in colors white, black, and grey. Features include navigation in the touring models, CD player, remote alarm, seat warmers, blue led lights, window defogger. Upgrade stereo to DVD player or in dash system. Personalize every drivers seating preference like the navigation system and music settings and volumes. Overall great customer service and luxury models always come fully loaded. Warranty is awesome and great efficiency in gas mileage. Value of car is worth it in the long run.
I had purchased my $55,000 Acura RL from King just a couple of years before the high-end GPS unit went belly-up. It just quit working! I took it to Kings service department and was told: You must have bumped the unit when you were putting something in the trunk. (Say Whaaat?!?) Thats customer damage and not covered by the warranty. Its going to cost you NINE HUNDRED BUCKS and take about six weeks to get a replacement from California. Please know, the unit showed NO SIGN of being bumped while I was ...putting something in the trunk but King Acura would not budge. Need I say, my RL will be remembered as my first and last foray into the sordid world of Acura.
2008 Acura MDX rear cupholder - We had an issue with the rear cup holder not opening properly. It was getting stuck. We dealt with it for several months. Finally, I decided to bring it in. They said, It looks like liquid was spilled on it, and could not be fixed, needed to be replaced. I paid for replacement parts and labor. Within a few months, it was doing the same thing. I questioned if my original one was defective and, in fact, not my fault at all. I asked if they could please fix and have the part ready so I would not have to make the trip out there again since it takes at least 2 hours for oil change. When I got there, they said, It looks like someone spilled liquid in it; we will order another one. It will be a day or two. I was frustrated because NO ONE spilled on the new one. Now I had to come back again when I specifically asked so we could avoid this. Then I find online an Acura Service Bulletin stating there are issues with this. Several people have the same problem and bring it in to have it fixed under warranty. Now I am really frustrated. When I confronted the service rep, Charlotte, she said, Well, that could be a new bulletin. No, it is 5 years old. Why did I have to find this on my own? Why did they just keep telling me, You spilled liquid? I expressed my aggravation and stated that I wanted my money back for the first one that I should not have had to pay for. She told me to call Acura. I said, Im in Acura dealership; who do I call? She said, Call California. Seriously! Then the service manager came out and said, I am not replacing this one as it is sticky, as he proceeds to show me the outside of the housing unit, which clearly has no effect on the internal mechanism. Then he began to ask me to read the bulletin. After 2 new cars from there and 8 years of loyal service to them? I spent thousands on new tires, service appointments, new parts, etc. And I am left with, Call California. I am very disappointed and I will no longer service my car there. I will no longer consider Acura for any future purchases.
I loved the car and I was very happy with the interior. The stereo sounded great and the seats were comfortable. My two kids are comfortable enough in the backseat with all of their accessories. Three people could also sit back there. The trunk is roomy enough as well. However, anytime I go to buy a car from Acura the colors available are very limited. Im not patient so I drive away with a bland color. Every time I tell myself going in that in nor selling for less than I want but I always do. My car also came with the basics, but I could have paid extra to get a remote starter and an alarm system.
I purchased a 2007 Acura RL brand new. It has been a nightmare. It only has 60000+ miles on it and it looks like it has a 100000 miles. The trim around the windows and inside the doors are peeling and rotting. The material in the inside leather (more like cheap vinyl) is cracked and peeling off. The material covering the center console has already peeled. The dash covering is bubbled up and cracking. The center display goes in and out of view. The wheels squeal. We have replaced brakes that we really did not have to. Having this car was a dream turn into a nightmare. I will never buy another Acura of any type model for as long as I live. There is a thick greasy streak in the passenger side window that there is no explanation for. DONT BUY ONE.
Acura provides a number of different vehicles to choose from, from sport sedans to luxury SUVs. They offer mid to high range vehicles that are tightly tuned and a blast to drive. Acura vehicles all look very sharp, with trim features youd expect to see on a luxury car. The trim lines are sleek and the headlamps make the front end look stylish. However, they dont give a lot of options to upgrade, but most features already come standard. A technology package is usually available which usually gives navigation and a few extra bells and whistles. Depending on the model, you can expect ample interior space for passengers and cargo. Some of the smaller sport sedans may sacrifice rear leg room, but this is expected in this type of model. The SUVs are spacious.
On June 8, 2012, I took my car into Acura of Milford, CT for an oil change and check the AC which was not working properly. All was done or so I thought to thetune of $304.52. I brought the car home and after a few days, my grandson, who is going to school for mechanics, said my car was leaking oil. He checked it out in my garage and found that the oil drain plug was stripped and that it did not tighten properly and needed replacing. This should have been caught by the mechanics at the Acura dealership. This cars previous owner always used the dealership when anything had to be done and I have followed in her footsteps taking the car to be serviced there also. I am indeed dissatisfied and will think about taking my car for an oil change next time I need it. On top of this, I was never told the oil drain plug was stripped. If I had been told, it could have been replaced.
The software on the fly by wire throttle is inconsistent to the point of being dangerous. Acura USA says thats the way it was designed so tough luck. Live with it. Basically when in traffic where you need instant acceleration, myself or my wife can hit the gas and nothing happens for a few heartbeats. My wife is a one foot driver and notices it which shows the severity of the problem. My 2010 TL didnt show this problem so it seems to be a fairly recent modification. I guess I should have bought the Lexus.
Called Acura when I got flat tire this morning. It is now 3 hours later they just arrived. There was no spare in car. No Acura emergency service like other brands such as Mercedes and Lexus. Very little help for person who does not know how to handle the problem. We own three Acuras. Never again will I buy one. With Mercedes or Lexus you call and they come get you and car. They repair. None of this arguing for a tow truck. No need for a million explanations. They just lost my family’s business. What a shame.
Its high class. Not a lot of work needs to be done because of the quality of the car itself. It offers Integra which I had myself. Then you have the sort ILX and MDX. Its a lot of sporty type cars with smaller engines to save games. It has different models. For example the base model is like an normal car, maybe power windows and a standard stereo. Then you have the different packages to go along with the car. It goes like any other car that a person would buy. Basic and then upper class and then the middle affordable one. It depends what you can buy on your budget. But if you are looking for space these cars are probably not the ones you are looking for. Maybe good for two or four people. But if you are looking to have more than four, dont even think about adding another person inside.
I took my car in because of a noise I heard in the right wheel well. It seemed like brakes to me. Marin Acura told me it wasnt the brakes; my brakes were fine. The front read 4 and the back 5. I asked if we should replace the front and they said No. I said, I dont want to have to come back in a few thousand miles to replace the front brakes. And they said, Dont worry, you have a lot more than a few thousand miles to go on them. It turns out the front brakes needed replacement immediately. Their diagnosis was completely incorrect. When the brakes were measured again, the front were at 0 and the back were at 6. In other words, the front were completely worn out, and the back had more left than Marin Acura had diagnosed. Dont take your car to Marin Acura for brakes, or for anything else, for that matter.
Purchased new from Acura dealer, a 2014 MDX. At 22,000 miles noticed annoying chirping noise. After second time to dealer, they advised noise is from fuel pump and characteristic of vehicle & similar to other MDX. The loaners I have driven do not have this noise nor did mine for first 22,000 miles. I paid $50,000 for this vehicle, which is my fourth MDX. Unless Acura changes their response and fixes this noise, it will be my last. Who pays this amount of money to listen to irritating noise caused by fuel pump? Acura appears to be company driven by cost not customer relations! Where in the past I recommended to friends to consider an MDX, I now advise them of my unresolved issue. Those that ride with me ask what the noise is and wonder why I do not have dealer repair. They are dumbfounded that Acura considers this noise acceptable.
Apparently someone tried to steal my 2014 Acura MDX and thus it was immobilized by the anti-theft. They stole my sunglasses and apparently tried to use a crowbar to get in the window DENTING the window frame even though the car was unlocked! Therefore, I could not start my car as it was immobilized and was told to get the other key fob that was 30 minutes away at home. I could only get to that the later in the evening after the Acura service dept was closed. So the next day, today, beginning at 8 am, after TENS of calls with Acura Roadside Assistance and then with several non-English speaking tow truck drivers, the first tow truck could not get the car into neutral so they left. Hours pass, the second truck was not the right kind to pick it up after specific instructions were relayed that it had to be the special tow truck. Hours pass, the third truck had a flat tire so ultimately could not make it but failed to call. Hours pass and the fourth tow truck arrived 3 hours later than expected and then delivered the car to the WRONG DEALERSHIP ACROSS TOWN. I was then told that the car is nowhere to be found by that dealership and that the driver had driven away with it on his truck!!! Two hours later I was told it was found and being delivered to the right Acura service. Then I was told the car was LOST and could not be located at the new dealership! One hour later, after I called the last of five tow truck drivers and the dealership and connected the dots for them, the car was found again. Moral of the story, beware of Acura Roadside Assistance promises and next time plan to spend TWELVE HOURS OF YOUR OWN TIME TO RECEIVE ACURA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE.
The Acura car works well with great quality including technology and runs fast. It has a lot more experience and it is also expensive, but its worth it. The appearance is amazing and they run in different colors. And dont get me started with the features. Theyre really creative!!! Their upgrade and personalization options are okay. However, I feel this is not their best decision or choice but they can do much better. But basically, great quality and compansive. The passenger seat feels just right. Its very comfortable and I feel secure right in place. Good job.
Acura has comfortable luxury cars ranging from small sedans to SUV. I own the TL which is a luxury sedan with a V6 engine. They also have an Acura RL which is even more luxurious and the Acura MDX which is a luxury SUV. Acura has very good looking cars that are very comfortable, along with many luxury features. Seat warmers, air conditioning, hands free link, customizable seat adjustment, a huge trunk, leather seats. In the Acura TL you can customize your temperature, your seat position, and the side mirrors. The Acura MDX you can get leather interior and automatic locks. The Acura TL has a ton of space in the backseat and also has a ton of space in the front seat and also has a giant trunk. You can seat 5 people very comfortably. The Acura MDX seats 5 people with even more space in the front and in the back.
Do not think about getting this car. The new Acura redesign has a major problem with the infotainment system causing the Battery to die. There is no fix at this time. The dealer put his hands up and said I wish I could help but we do not know what to do. Acura corporate admits to the problem, has no solution, wont take the car back and wont waive lease payments until the car is fixed. (Mercedes Benz did that for me.)
The car is the best that I have driven. It rides smooth... its good on gas... and I have not had any problems with the car since I got it. I can fit everyone I need in the car comfortably.. everyone has legroom. I love that I dont have to hear anyone complain about being too close to the other. When you see the car you know its an Acura. Its unlike any other car I have ever seen or ever driven. I would recommend it to everyone.
When driving on a highway in a snow storm my dash lights up like crazy telling me that the Collision Mitigation and adaptive cruise control has stopped working. The voice on the warning said to turn off the engine and restart it. If this didnt help see the dealer. When I went to Pauly Acura to find out about the problem I was told that was normal. When I called Acura directly I was told to check the owners manual and basically this is normal. We bought the car for its safety features. Wouldnt you want all features to work in bad weather? I asked what Acura was doing to correct the problem and was told nothing. I asked to talk to a supervisor and the lady I talked to would not connect me. My other car has the same type of system and works perfect in bad snow storms. This TLX 2015 with 3000 miles on it is not as good as our old 2001 or 2006. If I knew that this safety system had a problem I would of bought a different car. Who reads the owners manual before they buy a new car?
I bought the Acura MDX 2007 1/1/2014. The car had this battery issue that caused it to died. In the span of 5 months, four of the car battery died. Each time we replaced it with a new battery. After the fourth time we brought it up to the dealer because we have a warranty. The dealership claimed that replacing the HFL unit and the the battery cable which would total around $670. We only have drove it for around 4,000 miles and this was outrageous. The dealership would refuse to accept that the warranty would cover this. The warranty claims that this isnt cover and the dealer said that the warranty refused to pay the $670 required to fix this. After calling the warranty company for hours, they refused to fix this. After reading online for a while I notice that Im not the only one with this issue, its a common occurrence for other acura owners. A note to buyers, check your warranty! Make sure to check what they cover and what they dont. We paid around $2,400 for the warranty for 3 years and this hasnt even been a year and were having this issue. The warranty company is MPP (mechanical protection plan). Make sure youre checking what you get before you buy it! We basically spent $2,400 for nothing. Another annoying thing was when we sent the car in for repair, the dealership didnt offer us a replacement car to help us travel around while its being repair. They also didnt bother calling us back. I had to call them and ask whats going on. If you have had similar car issue and resolved this Im in need of help. Please message me!
My name is Paul **. I am one of the many owners of 3rd generation (2004-2008) Acura TLs who are experiencing significant cracks in the passenger side dashboard, and resulting SRS indicator lights suggesting a potentially dangerous airbag problem. Most of us have contacted dealers and Acura corporate headquarters for assistance and have uniformly been told the parts are not defective and the damage results from normal wear and tear. We know this to be a lie and believe Acura knows it also.A small number of us have received partial payment as compensation, the majority have been rudely dismissed without any offer of help. Acura steadfastly refuses to admit the parts were defective at installation and, for years, has refused to make the needed replacement or repairs. This must end. I think Acura has been successful at denying our claims because they have been too fragmented to gain public attention. It seems that in the absence of popular and media pressure, the company has been able to conceal its bad faith and behavior. Its time to expose them.I suggest creating a common website or forum where those already and yet to be affected can post their complaints and condemn Acuras dishonorable conduct. Then we can gain wider and more focused access to a larger influential audience. It may not persuade Acura to act honestly and responsibly but it certainly can influence consideration of all Honda products. Our intent would not be to further injure the companys reputation; instead we will attempt to return it to responsive customer service. Please join me in getting this started by suggesting ways to establish direct contact with one another.
Love the Acura deluxe. The car is beautiful and also has a perfect shine to it. I love the black color interior. Its perfect to go to the beach and does not get wet very easily. Its very big and has a perfect warm seat. It is perfect if you have kids, and the kids and love ones love it. Also the deal I have made for this car is perfect. Did not pay that much. The best machine and engine. The best car for me.
With a variety of models to choose from, I have found Acura to be the car for me. Their cars are designed with a sleek look, are fuel efficient, and are safety tested to ensure that the vehicle is road ready and safe to drive. In my car everything is digital and easy to see. Not only will the cars appearance draw attention, the inside was designed to provide the customer with a sense of pride for owning a Acura. Plenty of leg space to provide comfort for the driver and all occupants who ride along. With a sleek and sexy design these cars should be the most cost efficient vehicle on the road. I believe there is a body style to fit anyones preferred taste in appearance.
Seems that I have purchased a vehicle with a bad history of torque converters and I am now one of those victims. Dissatisfied that I did not do homework on this brand and model. Me bad. Just have to say that when after a year not one service place knew what I was talking about, I should have gotten online. Went to an Acura dealer and got a clean bill of health one month. The under body vibrates and grinds a noise at certain speeds which has not been consistent, now the engine does not want to go as if transmission is not getting power and that is not consistent yet. Here I bragged about this car and seems that Acura needs to make a count on how many MDXes have this problem. Husband bought this for me and I wanted to get my own in the summer, now I will find the heated seats in another brand!
The Honda Acura had many models including SUVs or sedans. I have an SUV car and it is very convenient for the snow. It handles snowstorms pretty well and is able to get up the hills. The car looks luxurious and has an expensive feel to it. Definitely cheaper than the Lexus or BMW but has many similar car features. The additional higher end features are included in this car. It has many advanced features and upgrades including the sound system, sunroof, Bluetooth accessibility, roof rack, heated seats, GPS, parking cameras in the front and the back. This car seats 5 people including the driver which is perfect for a regular sized family. It is good for vacationing and there is a good amount of leg room when seated fully and no one is really cramped or smushed together.
I have the Acura TL model, which is a sedan. Theres an Acura MDX which is the sport utility vehicle and also the Acura LX which is the full sedan. This car is so sporty and cute! Its definitely an eye catcher! It is mid size but has plenty of room! Its interior is cozy yet roomy! It has a navigation system if recommended and the style is superb! On the Acura TL you can add a rear spoiler which gives it more of a sporty look. Also you can add a navigation system with satellite radio available along with roadside help availability! The passenger capacity is suffice! There is plenty of leg room whether your short or tall, small or big! Your seats are also adjustable so however your comfortable, this car makes it easy!
I leased with Acura for two consecutive 3 year term and I initially thought it was a great vehicle (MDX) and great service until I decided to try another car company. I received an invoice for almost $3000 for excessive wear and tear. The report indicated that I had a poor repair and my car was NEVER in need of repair in the three years I had it! I was charged for two tires when only one didnt meet the spec requirements. Youre fine as long as you keep your money with Acura... They dont bill you unless you decide to leave. Fusion Auto Finance asked me to take the vehicle for inspection on Long Island and I live on Staten Island: it was a major inconvenience to me. The communication from Fusion Auto Finance initially billed me over $1600 because there was an error stating that my lease was overdue when it wasnt! The miscommunication to rectify that error was insane. Then, in dealing with Ms. Doreen ** and her supervisor Marissa **, the miscommunication continued in trying to ground my vehicle from another dealership. Overall, it was a nightmare that I never want to go through again. The corporate office (Drake ext. ** at Fusion Auto Finance) was rude and did not want to do anything else but collect my money. Its ABUSIVE and they (Drake of Fusion Auto Finance) made accusations of damages to the car and then accused me of lying when I said the vehicle was never in need of repair!! I will NEVER give my business to Acura again. They totally rip you off. There are so many other dealerships that offer better.
I love Acura RDX. This model is the best performance driving car Ive ever had. I can speed the driving on any street and still feel very comfort while Im driving. The appearance and features are wonderful to use, this model has high technology advanced system to synchronized with wifi systems while youre driving and most newest systems are updated. Plus, I like the passenger capacity for this vehicle. I can take a passenger in a comfortable setting and also I can load up any packages and easy organize in so many spaces available at the back. I also like the upgrade and personalization option on this vehicle. It has a easy process setup even I can do it by myself without any professional help. Always alert me with a latest upgrade to need.
At the beginning of this summer, my dashboard randomly started cracking above my steering column. The crack has extended all the way to the windshield and split off in one direction. Also the passenger side has started to crack around the airbag. An expensive luxury car like this should not have these types of issues. I love this car, but now every time I get in, I cant help but feel that I am driving a piece of junk.
I was very impressed initially with the car, it truly lives up to its reputation. I have been driving Acura for many years as my father did when he was alive. However, when it comes to customer care, I can tell you that the dealership fell very short. I had to replace the windshield due to a crack. Once the windshield was replaced, it then needed to be re-calibrated. When I contacted Center Acura, they told me that they were very familiar with this issue - no problem. It would take about 1.5 hours to do the job. Come very early in the am. So I did, to discover they could not calibrate the windshield because it needed a specialized silicone film first. They said, We will order this and call you next week, but should take a couple of days to get. They never called - two weeks later, I called and they said, We forgot to call you. I couldnt believe this since Acura is totally customer oriented.I rescheduled for this past Monday am - when I brought in my car, the service representative said, I will need to do extensive research on this. I replied, This is unacceptable. I had to leave because I was taking time off work. Several service department employees sent me emails and text messages asking me if I was satisfied with the service I received??? I promptly replied to all of them via email, text and phone calls. No one replied!!!I then ended up calling client relations. My case was assigned to a rep who I just spoke to. She listened but did not grasp the issue - the main issue is the lack of response to the customer. She perseverated about getting someone to do the work. I re-explained my position again, she ignored me and said this might be a good training issue for the dealership. In the meantime, I, along with my insurance company who offered to pay for this are attempting to locate a vendor who can do the job.
I have had Acuras since 1987. Most reliable car ever had. And, when there was a problem, both dealer and Acura resolved issue to my complete satisfaction without any hesitation or reservation.
Acura offers a sufficient variety of models to suit every lifestyle (sedan, SUV, sport model, etc.). When I owned an Acura, I had the Vigor sedan model, which I absolutely loved. Their models are classically designed, and an old Acura looks just as contemporary as a new one. What I particularly appreciate is the fact that blind spots are minimized, reducing the need to stretch and crane your neck before changing lanes. Also, their upgrade and personalization options are comparable to those offered by other manufacturers of upscale automobiles. For example, on-board GPS, air conditioning, hands-off mobile phone, etc. The passenger capacity depends on the style and/or model of car selected. My Vigor sedan had standard seating capacity for two passengers in the front and three in the back.
My husband bought a 2016 MDX from Acura Ramsey in Ramsey, NJ on June 27, 2015. One week after that he started having problems with the car. On Saturday we were out to dinner the car started giving weird noises and it said transmission problems. On Monday I tried to take the car to the dealer but all of a sudden the car stopped on RT 17. We had to tow the car to the dealer. When I was at the service I asked them what would happen with the car and they told me to talk to the sales manager Chuck **. When I went to his office he did not even told me to come in and I had to talk to him standing by the door. Actually first response I got from him was There is nothing to talk about. Go to the service and wait for your car. I asked him nicely what the procedure because it was a major problem with transmission. He again told to get out of his office and go to the service department and wait for the car. I did not understand why he was so mean and refused to talk to me and I asked him but he got worse. He kept saying Obviously you do not understand me again and again. I reminded him that I may not be a native speaker but I perfectly understand English and I am a US Citizen and I have the right to know what the procedure but he again treated me like an immigrant who did not understand anything. Unfortunately he was getting worse every time I opened my mouth. I did not understand why he was so rude and mean and why he was discriminating me saying that I did not understand him. I also have an MDX that I have bought from the same dealer in 2011 and I have been going to the same service since then. I have never ever been insulted and discriminated like this before. Actually I have never been treated like this in my life before. Brand new car stopped on a highway. I was totally traumatized and shocked. I did not know what to do. Instead of saying sorry he kept insulted me. He never ever not even once said he was sorry. I was so upset that I was shivering and crying but he seriously did not care about what happened or how I felt because of a car that we paid $60,000. This has been one of the worst days and treatment in my life. I like my car but I think Acura has the worst customer service and they do not think about doing anything about it since my husband also complaint about him via email a week ago and nobody responded his emails. I hope they will do something to improve their customer service and they do not hire these kind of people who do not know how to treat customer who has already bought two SUVs from them.
TL I just bought a few days ago, but when I drive home the next day was found to have oil and water fluid drop on the ground. The problem; How do you sell defective car to me, it makes me very angry. I work busy, but also the release time to service with you pull, a push, everyone wants to escape. How to dont hide when pay.
I purchased my first Acura TL in 2002 as a leased car and then I purchased it since I was such a satisfied customer. To my dismay, my car is slowly showing signs of oxidation on the hood, rear trunk and front hood. To my surprise, I have noticed other Acuras on the road that are about the same age as my car and they too are showing signs of erosion in the same areas. This appears to be a manufacture defect. I plan to create a blog or use my Twitter account just to get a mass response from the over-public who have Acuras if they too are experiencing this problem. Before I did the internet probe I wanted to first check with you to see if you have received complaints about erosion occurring on your cars. Im told that Honda has a growing problem with cars that rust/erode based on poor construction. My car trunk leaks into the area where my donut is stored since day one. Thanks you for your attention to this. The cost for a paint job is in the several thousands.
I purchased an Acura MDX on 4/4/2019 and purchased an extended warranty for it, which is supposed to provide coverage for electrical and mechanical failures in the car. In 2020, we notified our local Acura Dealer (Pleasanton, CA) about an issue we were experiencing. Whenever we remote started the car, the heated seats would no longer operate about 50% of the time. We took videos of this occurring, and the dealer was able to duplicate the problem. They said it was an issue that needed to be addressed by the corporate office, as there was nothing the dealer could do.I have spent the last two years going back and forth with Acura over this issue, and the matter remains unresolved. At first they said it was operating normally when it did this. They also said they hadn’t heard of this issue before. An internet search revealed numerous online complaints from other customers about this exact same issue. There’s even a service bulletin put out my Acura about this in August, 2017. Bulletin number BTS 161203 Version 3. It states that the front seat heater control unit was suspected to be the culprit.Acura has refused to fix this issue, so I requested a refund for our extended warranty, which we paid $2695 for. We are experiencing a mechanical/electrical failure of the heated seats to work properly, and Acura has refused to fix the problem. Therefore, we would like a refund for the extended warranty, which was purchased entirely for problems like this.
I have 2013 Acura MDX. It was good and smooth when the mileage was about 40000-50000 but after the mileage went higher the transmission got problem, it will shake every time I tried to be from 45-50 mile per hour.
I am writing this review to improve this service. It appears that only the people who have had trouble with their Acura vehicles have left reviews. Think of how many people own an Acura. Hello people. This is only a handful of owners. I am sure there are just as many complaint with any other manufacturer. Here is a better idea. Lease your vehicle before you buy it. If you dont like it, and you bought the malfunction/replacement protection plan, you arent out anything. It sounds like most of these people are just ignorant, and like to cry about something they were too cheap to buy. You people bought a luxury vehicle. Buy the protection plan. It isnt that expensive. If you bought the vehicle, buy the protection for it. You obviously have the money. I just got my first Acura, and I feel you are just trying to scare potential buyers, because you had problems. I love my car. It is the best car I have ever owned. Its comfortable, stylish, has plenty of space, a V-tech engine, heated seats, GPS navigation, all leather interior, power everything, moon roof, and it handles like a dream. On top of all of that, I have their cheapest vehicle, an ILX. I have only had it for two weeks, so my opinion might change, but as of right now, you people sound like spoiled adults who have always got what they desired. Why did you buy it? I tell you why. You heard they make luxurious vehicles that run forever. Why have you heard that? Because they are made by the same people who make Honda, and everyone knows Honda makes great cars. If you want to whine, buy something else. You wont hurt their business. Buy a cheaply made Mitsubishi or Hyundai. Quit trying to ruin peoples driving experience, because yours was.
I am amazed at the level of service concerning issues with our 2015 TLX 4 cyl. transmission. This is not to be confused with the 6 cyl. recall. We have 3000 miles on the car. The downshift at times BANGS into gear. The up shift from standstill also BANGS into gear, feeling like you are going to hit the person in front of you. Of most concern is that - 3 times from a standstill - once you start, the car completely stops moving (almost like you threw it in neutral) then kicks in. This happened in the middle of an intersection. Very dangerous. Problem is it only happened three times in 3 months. The dealer says if they cant replicate, nothing they can do. In fact tells me I need to get used to a different type of transmission with the dual clutch transmission. I said my expectation is that when I push on the gas pedal, the car goes. Am I supposed to get used to it not going? This is a dangerous situation. When googled, I see numerous similar complaints. Again, Acura says car runs fine. I am appalled by the expectation that this is just the way this is. Glad I only leased and wont be stuck with this car after. Reaching out to an attorney to see my options.
I own a 2015 Acura RDX AWD with technology package. It features a fine six cylinder engine with six speed automatic transmission. It has been totally reliable, and dealership has been responsive to my needs.
I own a 2013 Acura RDX AWD tech everything about is perfect. Great power, great gas mileage, comfort and reliability. All the technology it has is endless. Anybody I’ve talked to who owns this car loves it. I look forward to getting in every time. The leather and fit and finish is as good as it gets.
My dashboard started cracking around the passenger side airbag. My car is garage-kept most of the time, even at work! Its obvious that this a manufacturer defect and should be replaced! In one day, I saw 4 TLs with cracked dashboards! I dont think I will buy another Acura.
I took my Acura MDX 2011 for its 1st service in Bellevue dealership. They checked and took the car into the service area. When they gave me the car back after service, there was a big windshield crack. When I asked, they said this commonly happens many times and my service manager will have to see and approve for the replacement. After 2 days, the service manager said that it happened before leaving the car for service. The guys said they did not notice it when leaving the car and noticed it after the car wash. This service manager is very rude - I cant replace it; it’s all your fault, he was asking me to claim insurance for this and saying thats what insurance is there for. When I said I will complain to the Acura Company, he said, Nothing is going to happen, do whatever you want. When I asked him to see the cameras, how it was before, he said, I dont have the time for all of this, and hung up the phone. I am thinking of going to a lawyer to handle this with that rude guy.
2006 Acura TL - I called the Acura dealer cause all of a sudden my dashboard is cracking everywhere. I know several more having same problem. This is a defect and should be recalled. They want to charge me $2050.00. I have always took care of my car and its weird not only mine in my hometown is doing it. Also my Bluetooth wont connect. I talked to Acura corporate, they told me to take it to dealer cause my system might need updating. I did that and they just brushed me off without helping me. I am very disquieted especially with dashboard cracking everywhere when I take care of it and keep garaged.
Upon purchasing my 2015 Acura TLX, I was not told that Acura and Apple iPhones do not play nice with each other. At the time I had an iPhone 5S and now have an iPhone 8 and neither work with my cars hands-free dialing. I have carefully entered contact names and voice tags into my speed dial list but when I speak the name John **, up comes a list of names starting with Mary **. Acura offers no fix. Quite the deal from a so-called luxury care.
The headlights on my Acura are already cracking in less than 4 years. What a joke. I’ve been a long time Acura customer but this will be my last one. Save your dollars and go elsewhere as this company does not have your best interest in mind.
When we purchased the 2011 Acura RDX Turbo, I asked my salesman what was the actual gas mileage for this car. The sticker said 19/26 but he said 16/22. This car is driven very conservatively and we are averaging only 13.5 to 14 per gallon. My question is what can be done about this and why would Acura produce a car that only gets this kind of mileage when all other car makers are engineering their cars for economy driving, not a gas hog? The car is a decent automobile except for my complaint. I just might sell this car and go to another brand.
I love the car that I have because it is fast, quality, and fun. It has a good radio, a good size trunk, and has a lot of space in the car so that you are comfortable and dont feel squished, and that was another big factor in choosing this car. The AC and heater also works really well. They didnt have a lot of upgrade options but I think that I got a good value for the car. The price is a big reason that I choose this car.
Acura is a really nice car, has good quality and it drives great. It also looks great on the outside and inside. It has one of a kind color, has great features and no other cars have classy looking. You can choose from up to date technology and it has great choices for your lifestyle. In addition, it has plenty of room for passengers. I have SUV so I can fit my whole family. Theres a lot of room when I go to the grocery shop or store. Overall, its a great car inside and out. I love this car and I would buy it again. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an awesome car.
I own a 03 TL. I purchased it used back in 2006 with less than 42,000 miles on it. About 7 months later, I had issues with car skipping gears. Took it to the dealership and was told I needed to get my PCM, 2 engine mounts, and transmission replaced. At this time, I had only 53,800+ miles. Had I not bought the extended warranty, I would have had to pay for the PCM and engine mounts to be replaced. Now fast forward the 2014, check engine light is on as well as TCS. Had various places check it out and they told me it appears to be a transmission problem/torque converter clutch solenoid issue and to have the dealer check it out. I was hoping that it wasnt that. They tell me my transmission is pretty much shot. Im like, seriously? Im just now getting over 173,300 miles and my 2nd tranny has failed? Very disappointed. Acura knew about these problems and they should be held responsible for this. People cant afford to replace things like that every 100k miles or so. That should not happen. Needless to say, I will not be owning another Acura.
My first warranty ran out. I am so barraged with phone calls about extending it I chose not to pursue another one. The calls are a constant irritation. Besides, after 100,000 miles with no problems I’ve already gotten my money’s worth.
Bought a pre-owned certified 2011 rdx. Well first off was told it was awd it was not. Brake warning light was on, all tires were way off the psi. It should of been after the 120 point check they must of not done. 3 months later headlight had tons of water in it. After complaining to Acura relations was told they would help out of good will but after I was ready to replace the headlight was told they wont because you bought the headlight light from a 3rd party but it was oem. I have owned 3 Acuras this is my last. Stay away from buying Acura. They are not the company they use to be.
Whether youre looking for a car with speed and lots of power or a family car, Acura has what you are looking for. They have any variety you could think of - minivans, compact cars, coupes, SUV. They include navigation systems, internal and outer cameras so you know you have a safe distance from others. You can personalize and add more options to your car such as style, color, extras included. They also have a lot of options for the right car for you. Whether you need lots of space or just a little, they have it all. I have 3 kids so I needed something with lots of space and I found exactly what I was looking for. Love these cars. Very stylish and safe family cars. Very minimal to no problems. Would highly recommend.
I am a huge fan of Acura as well as Samsung and anything about cars and electronics intrigues me. I own a TSX ACURA year of 2010, I am greatly in love with it. Acura has a nice sleek look that make it different from other cars on the road today in 2016. The best part about it that it is luxury but not too expensive, great running car and very dependable. Plus you can fit one person in your front seat and 3 in the back with enough seat belts for everyone. I like factory items on an Acura to keep it classy, however, I did spice up my TSX up with some custom wheels, black and chrome. They go great with the car and makes it look like a combination of sport and luxury. However, I have had an issue with the navigation system draining too much battery causing my battery to go dead frequently.
BUYER BEWARE! I bought the 2019 RDX about 5 months ago and just brought it back to the dealer for the 3rd time for the same electrical problem. Apparently I found out today that Acura was well aware of the situation however, let the dealers sell the cars with this defect. The dealer and Acura, who dealing with is a nightmare (Acura) stated a patch to the software had to be created to stop the problem. So why would they sell a car that they knew had a defect? So have a case open with Acura. I dont even want the IT anymore and will be bringing this to the attention of the WFSB - Channel 3 Eyewitness News so that we can make this misrepresentation known to the public (in Connecticut) anyways. There were 7 other RDXs in the lot waiting to get repaired - I dont know if it is for the same reason but what does that tell you when you see 7 2019 cars needing to be repaired. Dont say you have not been warned. This is totally unacceptable and the customer service is horrible from Acura. My case manager does not return calls and when I spoke with a so called supervisor at Acura she states, Well you need to deal with your case manager, I dont do that. So what exactly does a supervisor do? This is a nightmare!
I had the four door base model with few features other than the standard package but it felt luxurious to me. The stereo system sounded great. The car felt well put together by the manufacturer. The heating unit was quick to respond after startup. I had the black and when it was polished up would look great at night against the street lights. The all wheel drive made it great for cruising around. I really liked the radio interface. The backseat was also very roomy. I once had three friends in the back for a four hour trip and they were able to survive. There was enough room to make it comfortable.
