Buick Automobile Model 2017 Buick Verano
Never do anything like this, but if it saves someone going through the pain my family has, it is worth it. DO NOT PURCHASE A BUICK ENCLAVE. We were so proud of ours when we bought it, but have been so disappointed. Nothing but issues. Started with cracked transmission gear (which they DID fix). Then the front end issues began. Popping and rattling in the front end. Took it in and paid to have it fixed. Caused uneven wear on tires and had to replace those (and 17 tires arent cheap). Since then, have had front end done 4X!!! Finally a mechanic friend of the family told me to Google (Buick Enclave front end issues) and could not believe what I found. Evidently there are known issues that Buick has decided NOT to stand behind. Several of the complaints said that their repairs usually lasted 3k-5k miles and then came right back (at $1k-$2.5k a pop). Why do I still have it you ask? Because this issue is so known that the dealers I would like to trade with (definitely not Buick), comment on the issues. Dont take my word for it, Google it for yourselves!
I have a 2008 Buick Enclave. Has run well for the years I have had it. The engine failed a week ago. 149KM $9K in repairs and GM will do nothing about this. Dont buy any GM product. A joke to say the least.
They offer a wide variety of options for cars and SUVs and even on the same models the options the cars come with vary vastly! Many dealerships carry this brand in both new and used so you are able to choose where you want to buy your car while still having options. I own a 2010 Buick Regal that is gray with leather interior. It came with navigation and xm radio. It gets great gas mileage while still looking classy and modern. You are able to add custom rims and tint to make it your own as well as navigation and DVD capabilities. Heated seats are also an awesome customizable option. The back seat in this car is big making it easy to easily fit 3 people comfortable or even 3 car seats without issue. This is really great for a smaller car! You can fit 5 comfortably in the car. It also has a large trunk to make traveling an easy and enjoyable experience.
Let me just start out by saying I choose to lease my Buick Verano since I love to get a different car every couple of years. The car I got is a 2012 Buick Verano and I had the dealership drive to New York from Pennsylvania to get this specific color package I wanted. The car itself is Beautiful and runs ok but I have the lease until December. I really did not have any major issues since I got the car in September 2012. My husband and I tried to take it to the dealership the other day to see if we could trade it in for a New car and we found out that this car only will get a trade in value of $13,000 IF WE ARE LUCKY!!! I ONLY PUT 30,000 MILES ON THE CAR. Two years ago the cars value was $28,000 and now it only worth $13,000 trade in value, not to mention that they say I still have 10 payments left so I owe about $19,000 total (not what I have left to pay) just if I wanted out of it today. I pay $380.00 month times 10 more months is what I will end up paying. I just want to say STAY CLEAR OF BUICK-THEY HAVE NO RESALE VALUE. THANK GOD THAT I CAN JUST TURN THE CAR IN AT THE END OF THE YEAR AND WALK AWAY!! LESSON LEARNED THOUGH... Do not buy Buick or lease because they are not worth anything once you drive it off of the lot!!!! We went to four dealerships and they all pretty much said your car is not worth anything compared to what you owe. One salesman said whatever you do, do not purchase this car at the end of your lease. Not that he had to tell me that one... I already wanted to get out of the lease. I just want to warn everyone to stay clear of BUICK!!!
I own a 2009 Buick Lucerne and never had a problem with it. I have a friend with a 755i BMW and I would not trade even. I think that Buick has deserted a loyal following by deciding not to produce the Lucerne any longer. I also have a 2005 LeSabre, which I have never had a major problem with. Buick was so busy pushing the Lacrosse that the Lucerne was forgotten. The Lacrosse will never be the car that the Lucerne is. The next car that Ill buy will probably be a Chrysler 300.
Transmission issues with 2008 Buick Enclave. Called customer service and was advised to have vehicle diagnosed at customers cost. Dealership stated transmission was damaged due to faulty wave plate. Call customer service back and specialist advised me that I was in the time period but over the miles that they would not warrant their product. Dealership states that replacing transmission would be $4500 dollars. Car was maintenance property but faulty wave plate caused damaged and Buick will not assist with repair bill. Will not purchase another Buick vehicle in the future. Lost loyal customer forever!!!
I my a 2015 Buick Enclave. Even though dealerships have asked me to trade in for new model, she is such a beauty. Im gonna keep her as long as I can. She sits nicely in the road, which is to say that she owns her space. Her interior from interior night lighting to leather seats are wonderful. She is a big girl so it does take her a few seconds to hitch up her skirt for quick move, but when she does you know that she is gone. My husband gave her to me as a Valentines gift. What a WONDERFUL Valentines day present she has been. I go in the garage sometimes just to look at her and possible think of somewhere to take her. LOL
This car offers steering wheel volume control, electronic adjustable mirrors, leather seats, and plenty of leg room. I would recommend this LE Buick LE Sabre to family and friends. Its a good value for the money! Its a pretty casual looking car. Its beige, and isnt very flashy at all. It is roomy, and it would make a great family car. Overall, its an attractive looking ride! It can be upgraded and personalized, but really not all that much. Its pretty much what you see is what you get! It is a very spacious family car. Its leg/set room is its number one feature. It is great for people who are tall! Everyone is my family has long legs, so its a great fit!
My mother bought this 2008 Buick Enclave CXL with every possible option for $44,000. 75-year-old female driver only, always maintained, never abused. At 45K miles, she gave the car to me. 45-year-old male, perfect driving record, & preventative maintenance freak. At 48K miles, the transmission began slipping at various times & in various gears. Took it straight to dealer, the warranty was expired 6 months ago due to time, not mileage. The dealer charged me $212 to tell me the tranny was slipping (knew that). Said it would cost me $1,200 just to drop it & diagnose. Suggested I go with a GM rebuilt for $4,800. They said Buick would not help me with repairs or discount the parts, even with only 48K miles. I took it a couple blocks down the road for a $3,000 rebuilt tranny with a 1-year warranty. The bottom line is this was my last try with an American car. I have owned 10 vehicles: 4 Toyotas, 1 Nissan, 3 GM, and 2 Dodge. I still have 1 of the Toyotas with 94K miles & never a problem. I have never gotten to 75K on any of the American cars without major tranny or engine trouble. The opposite with the foreign brands, never any major trouble. Call it luck, I call it obvious & have finally learned my lesson. I will stay with Toyota for life.
Purchased Buick Lacrosse 2010, not thirty days in, the power begins to slow down at 23 to 24 miles. Take to dealers, they charge me 115.00 to tell me it may be my air filter and may need throttle body induction. Now in my mind, youre a Buick dealership and you have no clue of whats wrong. And Im forced to pay for that information. My check engine light comes on soon as I left, I call back. They tell me they will charge me 150.00 to put a machine under my trunk switch that advance auto uses for free to read me the codes. It is because Im a woman or dealerships are heading to hell in a hand basket. Signed dont trust ideal Buick.
Ive only owned one car my whole life and I loved this car. It was a 1983 Buick Riviera and it was definitely a luxury vehicle. It looked good, it drove well, it had power, and it definitely was a style statement. I like the air shocks, the extra insulation in the passenger compartment to reduce the road noise, and the engine. It was and still is one of the classiest vehicles on the road. Definitely my dream car and if I could find another one I would buy it in a heartbeat.
We recently bought a 2017 Buick Encore and the first time it reached about 115 degrees my acceleration became nil. Id press down from a stop light and the car would barely move (1000 miles on it then). Then coming home from work my wife was getting on the freeway, she pushed down, hardly did anything, had to punch it. When she did it moved, but the AC turned off altogether. We contacted Buick about this problem (acceleration) and they said put higher octane gas in it, it might solve the problem. REALLY!!! Come to find out after many phone calls that the Turbo in the Buick Encore cant take the higher temps and will hesitate badly when pushing down on the gas. Theyre working on it so they say.Ive even spoken with people in Detroit who say the Engineers are working to find a solution. Yet, they are still selling these cars without telling anyone of the consequences. I believe the Engineers and top Exec knew of this problem and just told the dealers to sell them anyway. We will never buy a Buick again. In closing let me say that many dont realize how many days over 100 degrees we have in AZ, NV, CA, TX and a few other states. Last year we had 99 days over 100 degrees. This year is expected to be more and yet even at 100 or 105 this car acts up. The other thing many dont realize is that here in AZ like many other western states our humidity is only about 5-15% most of the time. Thats extremely Dry and means that Sun is hotter. We dont have any moisture in the air to speak of. This is very telling on the cars and people. This is why Buick needs to DO SOMETHING NOW!!!
I dont know how well those guys have road tested the 2011 Lacrosse v6 with the 18 wheels before they put it into production, but I can tell you they did not do a good job. I am one of the unlucky owners of the 2011 Lacrosse and I am completely disappointed with this supposed luxury vehicle. The main culprit is the terrible road noise coming from the wheels. On any surface that is slightly rougher than completely smooth asphalt, the noise is very excessive. We compared the road noise with a 2002 very used Nissan Altima and found noise in the Lacrosse to be much worse. Especially on any metal junctions, such as the bridges and overpasses, and on rough cement or asphalt surfaces, the tires sound as though someone was hitting the vehicle with a hammer on the metal joints and there is that overwhelming low frequency noise like a plane flying in close proximity on gravel and other rough surfaces. The tire noise is the same on all the 2011 Lacrosses with the 18 rims. The other problem is the exhaust. The two mufflers sound like a boom box at very low rpms. We plugged one up to test where the noise comes from and found the car 50% quieter. Apparently the other muffler is just for the looks and does not serve the purpose that it was designed for; that is, muffling the noise. I did not have a chance to see if you did anything about the tire noise on the 2012 models, but I did see that they did something with the exhaust system. I am a dissatisfied owner and will most likely never buy any GM product again. I have contacted their customer service on multiple occasions, but to no avail. I only wanted them to put the17 wheels on, which are much better suited for this type of vehicle. I hope no one else gets fooled like me. I have read many reports by the owners on the web, I guess they must be deaf.
There are small to extra large vehicles available. Sporty to old man style, small engines to large engines, 2 door to 4 doors to SUV, from economy to luxurious styles with all the amenities. The 4 door mid size SUV with a v8 engine has some storage in the rear and lots of legroom and headroom. It has plenty of room for at least 5 passengers plus if need a luggage rack on top. I was also able to tow whatever is needed at that time. It has nice stereo system all power in all the right places. Its also 4 wheel drive. It has almost every bell and whistle in it for a car of that year.
Buick Century has been an extremely reliable vehicle, and the only car we have owned in the last sixteen years. We have driven it mostly in town, but have also taken it on several road trips. We like the style, shape, and exterior design of this vehicle, as well as the comfortable, easy, smooth ride. It has a roomy interior, as well as a very large trunk space. It also gets super gas mileage. While its our favorite car to date, we are not too thrilled about the quality of the car radio as it has aged - the speakers have become quite fuzzy and the volume will not hold steady. Also, a compact disk drive would be nice.
I bought a 2014 Buick Enclave. One of the most best rides, safest, great looking, affordable and best vehicle I have ever bought. I have had no problems with this vehicle, great service at dealership and overall satisfied with my choice.
Buick Rendezvous 2002 needs to be recalled. This car already broke down with a leak in the intake, with only 58,000 miles. Apparently, this is a known issue with this car! This needs to be recalled!
I was very happy with my purchase of my Buick. It has a variety features that were pleasing to me. Great mileage, interior, tires and great on gas. The Buick was a blue color, four door car, great rims, black interior leather with great stereo and speaker system, not loud, or clanky, no rust. Overall a great lasting car. Its upgrade included the very best of technology, everything is computerized and functions at its best at all given times. At least six passengers can ride in my vehicle. We all fit nice and comfortable and have enough seat room and seat belts for every passenger.
I bought a 2010 Buick LaCrosse from Ewing Buick Plano, TX on 12/29/2010 off the showroom floor. Not being told that this car was in an accident totaling $5600.00 on 10/09/2009 on the right side of the car, 2 doors and front fender was replaced. I have located the body shop manager that was there at the time and he remembers the car and what happened to it. The owner of Ewing Buick loaned this car to his housekeeper to clean his house and his mother’s house at the time. She was in an alleyway and a homeowner came out of his driveway not seeing her and hit the LaCrosse on the passenger side. The car was repaired at Ewing Buick and then back out on showroom floor to sell. When I walked into Ewing Buick on 12/29/10 to buy a car, Rosemary was my sales representative, a very nice person. She did tell us, my husband and me, that the car had a dent on the front bumper, but it was fixed so they would take off a $1000.00 for that. Also, she had Randy, the finance officer, to come in and tell me about the dent on the bumper also. I guess to make sure I was aware of it. My husband and I both said that Rosemary told us about it. I asked how it happened and the excuse given to us was that the car was being cleaned up and the porter did not realize he had hit the post. My husband and I did not think anything about it because they fixed the bumper. But this is a far cry from the wreck that really happened on 10/09/2009 that we were not told about. We found all this out because I was in an accident on 10/20/2011 this year. I was pinned inside this car for 45 minutes because the doors would not unlock. I had to be cut out of this car with the jaws of live. After I got out of the car everyone was surprised the air bags did not come out on the driver’s seat. I had the car taken to Ewing Buick for repairs because that is where I bought it from. About 3 weeks into fixing the car, we got a call from our insurance company telling us this car was in another wreck on 10/ 2009 we told them no because we had bought this car off the show room floor on 12/29/2009. Allstate pulled the VIN and said that it was in another wreck totaling $5600.00. My accident cost about $ 7700.00, replacing 2 doors and back fender on the left side of the car. I went to Ewing Buick on 12/28/2011 to talk to them about the wreck on 10/09/2009 and the General Manager was rude and said that they did tell me and my husband about the wreck. So I am now asking for General Motors to look into this dealership and how it is being run. They did not tell us about the wreck in 2009. I have now contacted Rosemary and she is willing to help us and tell that we were not told about this wreck at anytime. Also, I have Michael, the ex body shop manager, to tell everything about this car also. All I want is for Ewing Buick to make this right. I will get a lawyer if I need to and I will also have Channel 8 and 5 to do a little more on looking into this also if I need to. We are coming to them because we have always bought their cars and would want to continue.
Have a 2016 Buick Enclave with only 1,400 miles and the brakes are fading already. Took it in and they found nothing. Said they are working like they are designed to do. General Motors is walking a thin line with this. I just hope my wife never gets into an accident.
I purchased my 2014 Buick Verano in November 2014 and now have almost 7,500 miles on the car. I just love it, I have noticed like a previous comment about the transmission shifting. I asked the dealership and their response was, this is normal and if I was not comfortable or felt unsafe, they would take a look at it for me. I just love my new car and I had many GM vehicles in the past and will continue to purchase GM products in the future. I love the design inside and out. GM has a best-seller here with the Buick Verano. I just cant get over that they should have thought of this car earlier. Keep up the great work GM.
We bought the 2006 Buick Lucerne CXL 2.5 Years ago @ Taylor Automotive in Martin, TN. We drove it down the road for a test drive. I drove, didnt drive very far, possible 3 miles. The Car drove sorta good. We bought it. That Sunday night drove it to work, we worked 3rd shift. The Monday morning got in the car, it would not go into reverse. So, I put it back into park and got the rpms up. Then put the car into reverse. It went in gear. The next day Tuesday got the tires rotated. The car had new tires on it. The guy at Melvins Tire in Murray, KY said, Bobby these wheels are bent. So, I called Jermany @ Taylor Automotive. And told them. They replaced 2 wheels. Then later on I found out the car had the wrong battery on it. I emailed Jermany and told him. I Also took pictures and got on GMs website and called GM to confirm if it had the wrong battery on it. Jermany told me that it was the right battery but later on he retracted his words and told me the battery would be there Tuesday. Then the car kept on not going into gear, so I called GM and they told me to take it to the dealer. So, I did.Taylor Automotive said there was nothing wrong with the transmission. Which 2.5 years now it still doesnt go into gear right away. The dealer told me that the new Buicks did the same. I have a 1977 Chevy Nova, it will go into gear in any position. I bought one other wheel because Taylors would not replace it. There is still one more wheel which is bent. They are 17 wheels. I have it documented @ GM that all this is true. I will never buy a GM product. I am going to send one of the bent wheels to GM CEO so he knows what kind of the cars that Taylor Automotive is selling, being a GM dealership. I have more for later.
This is a very smooth ride with little to no outside noise. I love the stereo with Boise speakers. The double moon roof is awesome. The heated and cooled seats with the heated steering wheel were what really sold me on it. It comes with plenty of leg room for my grandsons that are all tall basketball and football players. I have the Enclave with a 3rd row seat. It gets good gas mileage.
The car has enough space and enough room. The passenger side is very comfortable, easy access to get in and out. No trouble with leg room and very relaxing. It rides smoothly and offers phone space and phone cord. The appearance is pretty, in a pretty beige color, and looks as if it was brand new and in good condition. No distinctive scratches or marks on the car. The color is shiny, and the inside has a very nice, good looking interior. The upgrades are nice since my stepfather did some of his own work and contributed to the car to see if anything needs to be done or worked on, which is a good thing.
My Buick has great passenger room and trunk space. I had ample room to get laid and you could easily fit 4 bodies in the trunk and plenty of leg room also. Wasnt a fan on the bench seat. It had the premium stereo, the acoustics were great. I was surprised at how good it sounded and liked it. It was great. I ended up with the Buick as the result of necessity. I didnt seek it out thinking it would help me score some tale. I didnt personalize anything. I suppose I couldve gone to a dealership and seen if there was any way we could help make the car not look like it was owned by someone named Gladys. They only make a few and I would like for Buick to make a real comeback. They are a high end automaker who has watched their sales dwindle for years. Its time for a rebirth.
I purchased my 2012 Buick Verano when Buick introduced the new series in 2012. It was fairly loaded with many options and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed that car. However I did have several manufacturer issues. In the first 2 years I had to 1. Force dealership to replace windshield because there was literally a full hand print within the windshield (during manufacturing someone touched either the glass or the safety plastic thats inside before glass was finished or fused together. It was right in my line of sight. Dealership went round and round finally they admitted they could see the issue and agreed to replace under warranty. 2. Rear window replaced. A strip in the heating element stopped working. Dealership had nerve to ask me if I could live with it... REALLY?? Its unset warranty of course I want it replaced. The factory paint job was sub par. I didnt realize it at first but it became obvious quickly. The bottom part of rear wheel wells behind where you catch ask the runoff and splash from tires started fading right away. Hood, bumper, roof all chipped way too easily... Regardless of these things I loved the Verano. It was totaled in an accident in 2015. I immediately bought a 2015 Verano. This one was way better, loved the build in wifi/ 4G LTE. It also came with advanced safety features and improved touchscreen infotainment.Only had 1 flaw that I didnt even realize. When I had it at a different dealership for oil change, I was going to buy touch up paint. The service manager was looking at my car and noticed few spots not quite right. Turned out after they flew someone from their GM headquarters out to Portland Oregon. He confirmed that my car was one of a select batch that had defective paint jobs. So they put me in a loaner for almost 3 weeks and my Verano had to be completely repainted. Since they contract that out, I was lucky enough to get a way better paint job than manufacturer. So as of just 2 months ago I finally got the car I always wanted but its usually way too expensive for my taste lol. I saw a 2014 Buick LaCrosse fully loaded and a premium pearl diamond paint job heads up display. This car was $47, 000 brand new. It was a one owner lease and had incredibly low miles on it. It still looked and smelled new. They were selling it for $21.000. I didnt hesitate I knew it wouldnt last long.. So far Im in heaven with my LaCrosse. I really cant find anything wrong with it. Its powerful, very quiet, feels sporty as well as elegant and comfortable... FINGERS CROSSED! So, obviously Ive had opportunity to change brands but I really do like Buick. I had never driven or owned one before 2012. Unless Buick introduces another great model I really want. I may most likely change to a different look and feel. I hope this helps anyone with questions or doubts.
Bought my 2017 Buick Cascada new and had no problems until June 29, 2019. Since then nothing but problems. Four attempts to repair at one dealership between June 30 and the middle of July. The dealership claimed they fixed/replaced crank shaft and can shaft three times and the issues were unrelated. Returned car to me leaking oil. Second dealership has had car since first week of August with turbo part 30 to 60 days out. GMC representative informed me that’s a parts issue not theirs and since they plan to repair it they are upholding their end of the deal. I thought the deal was a quality car?!?? Apparently the deal is provide bare minimum and expect consumer to be happy. I expected more from Buick. Should have stuck with Nissan. Less flash but a lot more reliable!
Buick has great variety. Definitely more versatile than I originally expected going to a Buick dealership. I truly enjoyed the experience and the variety. It has a super sleek and modern appearance. Much more visually appealing than the older Buick models that people usually associate with this particular car brand. The various upgrade and personalization options was amazing. I do not necessarily need a lot of gadgets and upgrades but there were definitely a lot available for other people that may want those sorts of things. It also has plenty of passenger capacity with lots of leg room and armrest plus lots of cup holders and a comfy seat from what Ive heard from the passengers in my car.
My 2011 Buick LaCrosse was the first (and last) Buick I have owned. The car is really attractive (on the surface) but has been a nightmare of mechanical and technical issues since the first day. On the day I picked it up it was raining really heavily and the windshield kept fogging up so badly that I couldnt see where I was going. Come to find out there was a recall on this, but the dealer didnt fix it before delivering the car. Within a week the drivers seat started to make this loud squeaking sound whenever I drove around a corner. After a half dozen attempts the seat has still never been fixed. Then the engine light started coming one every few weeks. This was supposed to be because of some software issue, but everything they fixed it never lasted and a few weeks later the light was back on. After 4 trips to the dealer it was finally resolved... I think. The transmission slips whenever I take off going up a hill, the front end has never been aligned correctly and the car drifts to the left, the paint is peeling off the rear bumper sensors, the transmissions makes a whining sound every time it shifts from 3rd to 4th gear and the list goes on and on. The dealer has been completely worthless in trying to fix any of these issues. Buick sent their regional manager down to my dealer to tell me the drivers seat squeaks because Im too fat. I weigh 195lbs which is not skinny, but Ive seen the other people who drive Buicks and they are not skinny either. Buicks customer service line has been completely worthless as well. Their solution was to offer me free oil changes for the life of my car... Wow! How about standing behind the car and fixing the problems? Ive been a lifelong GM customer (mostly Chevrolet) but have to say after this experience I dont think Ill make that mistake again.
I have taken my Buick Regal turbo 2011 in for repairs 19 times. The serpentine belt is squeaking again so that will be 20 times. I also have a suspension light on which they report will be a 1000 dollar repair. The lemon law gave me a small amount of cash but I think Buick should have replaced this car. It all started with 2000 miles on it. It also had a cracked turbo which needed to be replaced. The dealership has been rude and horrible. I will never buy a GM product again.
Im retired and the 2012 Buick Verano is the first Buick I have ever purchased. Now, I know why. If you enjoy the loud sounds of clunking and thumping from a vehicle that apparently does not have any type of suspension, then the Verano is for you. If not, stay away!
I purchased a brand new 2021 Buick Encore GX AWD just back in February 27th, 2021 with 12 miles on it at signing. As of May 14th, 2021 it has been at the Belleville, IL Cardinal Buick dealership shop due to a check engine light that occurred that day. After 5 days theyve yet to call me to tell me whats going on nor how long it will take to fix or replace. I only drove 960 miles and filled the tank twice since I got it. The car upon starting made a rumbly sound shaking the left side of the car violently and the check engine light went on immediately after. Not to mention the car was sounding like a 20 year old car a few weeks prior to that but no light ever went on for that reason. I never even had that car running above 3,000rpm so its not like I was abusing it.I figure it was just because its a 3 cylinder. It sounds like a rattling can after starting it. Way too loud for a new car. I noticed there was a bolt missing on the turbo block which when I checked to see if anything liquid was leaking under the hood from the rumble. The shocks and struts are terrible, too. You go over a slight asphalt repair in the road at 10 miles per hour and youre glad you got a seat belt on. Imagine what its like on the highway. They also sold me one with a flawed paint job with poorly done spot touch ups. Theres a huge scratch that looks like some moron scratched it with a key or snow scrapper by the driver-side rear window and a huge notch by the hood like a mechanic dropped a tool on it. Why a mechanic would be under the hood of an unpurchased car with 12 miles on it is something to wonder. Makes me think some previous test driver messed it up and they tried to fix it.I didnt see any of this when I test drove it due to the dealership holding us hostage there for 8 hours with our credit credentials. By the time we actually got to test drive, it was already getting dark. This is a common theme for this dealership I later found out. I asked if they could give me a replacement when I took it in to have it looked at and they said they cant because its already financed. Translation: We know we sold you trash, that we tried to mask a previously damaged car as new that we failed to report to carfax or authorities, and were not taking it back because that admits guilt and we can be legally liable and subject to possible civil or criminal charges punishable by fines or imprisonment. They didnt even give me a loaner car while its being in their shop.Im stuck paying $25,000 on this overpriced garbage thanks to the useless Lemon Law of Illinois because it has to break a certain number of times in a 12 month period. New cars shouldnt be failing at all...period. If it breaks early on that means somebody at the factory didnt do something right and theres obviously more problems lying in wait soon due to lack of quality control. I dont want it back. I only made two payments on it and it failed. I dont trust any of their products or dealerships now. Maybe I can sell it to an art museum if Im stuck with it. Experience Buick...The Trash of the Future...Today now showing at the St. Louis Art Museum.
I bought a 2006 Buick LaCrosse several years ago. Two weeks after purchase, the check engine light came on. It would take at least two pages here to list ALL the problems Ive had with this car EVER SINCE!!! I have now spent over $5,000 on repairs, and as I write this, it is powering down, and the reservoir coolant keeps leaking... somewhere not visible!!! I dont have any more money to bring it to a Mechanic AGAIN!!! The last time I brought the car in for repairs was at Auto Select at 2128 Main St., Green Bay, WI. 54302 (phone: 920-465-3790.) I had to take out yet ANOTHER loan to pay them!!! ($1,600) If A & B Auto or GM doesnt make this right, I feel personally obligated to let every one of my Family and friends know how they do not stand behind vehicles!!
For the past 8 months, I have only been able to drive my Buick for 2 weeks at a time without having serious issues. The engine light will come on and I get the following error messages: reduced engine power, max speed 32 mph, traction control off, service StabiliTrak. The first time this happened, I was on the interstate driving 75 mph! Since the end of July, I have had my car in for service multiple times at several different service centers. It has now been at Todd Wenzel Dealership in Davison, MI since January 6th (today is March 22nd), with no diagnosis. Today I was told they cannot diagnose it until the vehicle gets worse and that I should drive it until another symptom develops! They said since they cannot replicate the problem, they dont deem the car unsafe to drive.I have kept records that detail the issues I have been having and the attempts that have been made to fix it. If I did not still owe $12,000 I would have gotten rid of this car by now. I have been told: Total customer satisfaction is important at Buick. If this is truly the case, then Buick/GM should step up and make this right: either figure out the problem and fix it, or give me a replacement vehicle worth what I still owe. This is just not ok and I am at my wits end.
2010 buick enclave - After just 4 and a half years, the paint on the heater knobs are chipping off. I take extra care of my car, and for this to happen after the warranty expires is disappointing. The peeling paint on the dashboard buttons makes my $48,000 car look cheap. Oh wait, it is cheap. Buick Dealership cant fix this and have basically told me too bad. I will not buy another Buick product.
My 2006 Buick Lucerne has many issues. When getting in the car, the lite knob hits knee. Its seat plastic is cracked. The original tire has belt seam overlapped too far, causing thumping and air pressure notification to come on. One rim leaked due to flaking chrome and corrosion, its outside trim is coming loose.
Buick has a variety of cars, including smaller models and some newer SUV style models. The brand has been releasing more upscale looking cars in the last few years. The cars I have shopped for seem to have some nice upscale features such as high quality speakers, leather seats, rear view cameras (some) and the seats are pretty easy to adjust. There are some extra sound, screen, and radio features that seemed interesting. Buick seems to have average space for passengers. The driver and passenger seats feel a bit roomier, but the back seats on the model I bought are a bit smaller. Still comfortable though.
I purchased a brand new 2016 Buick Encore end of August. I had issues with the car when driving under 40 mph where it would appear to cut out or shift hard. I had researched and found where other people had the issue and it went away a few thousand miles. Then in November at 3500 miles, it happened going down the highway at 50 mph and threw me forward in the car. Then once coming to a stop, I was unable to move in reverse, it made an awful sound and would not move. It would still go in drive but again cut out heavily. The car was towed to the dealer for repair.I am now told that the tool needed to repair my transmission was just ordered last week, over two weeks of having my car, that the tool would not be received until the end of December or first part of January. I am disappointed that GM would not approve for a complete transmission replacement as opposed to repair. I purchased the car loaded with every feature and I am most upset how long I am being deprived from the car.
There are so many models to choose from. Whether you have a family, are a couple or single, you are sure to find one that fits your lifestyle. My Buick Regal has four door with keyless entry, power windows, super great air conditioning and heat. Extremely quiet ride. The factory radio even sounded wonderful and I upgraded it which was excellent. I also had special rims and chrome put on the car. I also was able to custom order the color of upholstery I wanted. You had choices of that as well. Leather or cloth. And had I wanted, I could have had the console different. I also added Bluetooth so I could talk hands free. My Regal was very spacious. I sat the oldest upfront and had a car seat and my 2 daughters in the back. They were able to sit comfortably, with plenty of room, which is very important to keep fights from occurring.
I was in search of a good sized SUV and decided on the Buick Encore. Perfect size for what I wanted and needed. Good on gas and a comfortable ride. I live in a cold weather state and the option of heated seat and steering wheel made this choice simple for me. It offered ample leg room as well as comfortable seat belt fitting. Since this was my first time actually purchasing a car I went with various updates. I picked forward collision alert, Bose surround system, lane departure warning, rear vision camera, memory seat, and remote vehicle starter. I am single but I have more than enough room to fit my nieces, nephews, and younger cousins. It does not seem like it from the outside but the interior is very roomy which adds to a comfortable fit for all.
I love that they offer a wide variety of models to choose from as well as seating options for someone with a family that can seat 6 or a single person who isnt concerned with seating. They are equipped with current technology. From satellite radio, seat warmers, back up camera. You have many options, from basic to fully loaded with all the gadgets. The vehicles are reliable for the price. Stylish but not overly flashy. The interior is sleek, very sturdy and quality made. Then vehicles are very comfortable to drive during long distance travel. The seating is spacious and doesnt feel cramped in the back seat.
I purchased a 2002 Buick Rendezvous with less than 35,000 miles in August of 2010. With normal driving conditions, the car broke down on us while traveling out of town. The mechanic in Virginia Beach, VA said the car needed a new engine. Thinking that we may be taken advantage of, being a tourist, we had the car towed 2 1/2 hours back to our hometown, where our mechanic also said the engine was blown to the tune of over $4,000!If GM knew these problems existed with this vehicle, they should have recalled them. We are out over $4,000 and I never purchase another GM vehicle and will be happy to tell everyone that I know not to purchase a GM vehicle. If this is their way of treating their customers, they should not be in business.
From color to design, each one is a little bit different which made it hard to choose. But I finally did and I love my choice. Buick offers many options from window tint to wheels and rims. There is protective coat on the paint and special stuff to prevent stains inside. It is roomy, has good gas mileage, nice interior and I love the storage area. There is enough room for the whole family as well as baggage and stroller. It is able to fit 7 people total. It’s amazing because I have two kids and I am married so I can also take other kids with me if needed and have plenty of room without squishing people.
I have a 1998 Buick Regal GS. Ive owned it for 10 years. There was a recall to address a valve cover gasket that allowed oil to leak on to hot exhaust causing fires. The gasket was fixed. The car continues to leak oil onto the exhaust and the catalytic converter. Also the car cuts out when the turn signal is used. It restarts. But when it cuts out, power steering and brakes are inoperative. Many Buicks and GM vehicles do the same according to the NHTSA complaints. Why is there no recall? This is why people buy Japanese. We were told not to park the car in the garage or close to the house.
I own a 1998 Buick Skylark. The vehicle had 24,000 miles on it when I purchased it. It now has 117,000 miles on it. Two years ago, while I was driving the car, it just stopped on me. I was told that a camshaft was broken and that it would be easier to have the engine replaced instead of trying to fix the camshaft. I kept the vehicle maintained on a regular basis. I replaced at least 3 water pumps, 3 intake manifold gaskets, 2 EGR Valves, as well as other repairs. I didnt find out about the Dex-Cool recall until 2009 when the car stopped running. This explains why I had to replace water pumps, intake gaskets, and EGR valves so frequently. Is there any help for people like myself who cant afford to keep sinking money into cars in which the Dex-Cool product caused other problems?I am without an automobile. I had the vehicle towed to a repair shop to have an engine installed but finding an engine with low mileage is next to impossible. The cost for a used engine with over 200,000 miles was $1,700. A rebuilt engine will cost $2,800. The blue book value of the vehicle is around $1,900 if its in excellent condition. The junk yard will probably give me about $100. The body of the car is in excellent condition. I have looked for used vehicles in the $1,500 to 3,000 price range and the mileage is considerably higher than the mileage on my vehicle or the vehicles history in general is in question or both.
They are amazing cars, they look amazing and they ride great. We are very happy with our purchase. They have a great look inside and out, very beautiful paint colors. I love the features of them. They are very easy to personalize and make your own designs. They have a great capacity and they are very comfortable to drive in and to ride in. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
My 2014 Buick LaCrosse has been in service with the dealership on 3 occasions for a total of 12 calendar days to attempt repair on my lack of reception and static on the FM radio stations. General Motors claims that it is due to obstructions and obstacles in the market. I have driven 6 other vehicles without any problem and work with an additional 75 co-workers that do not have any issue with FM reception. The odd part is I live in Scottsdale, AZ where there are no tall buildings, obstacles, perfect weather, no trees or bugs. Im not sure what obstructions they feel we have in Scottsdale.
I have owned my Rainier for 4 1/12 years and have recently had issues with the air suspension system. As I drive or when it’s parked, the vehicles rear end drops, which causes headaches and stomach pain from the bouncing around as I drive. I have researched this issue and found numerous complaints with the same issue. I have taken very good care of the vehicle, and feel that Buick/GM should cover the costs of the repair, since this is a default/defect in the manufacturing of the vehicle and no fault of my own. I am paying a 450.00 monthly car payment that I feel is a LEMON, and I am very frustrated, embarrassed, and dismayed.
We have a 2007 Buick with 25,000 miles on it and the GM engineers cannot figure out what is wrong. First we took the car to Richard Kay Superstore in Anderson, SC. They had it for 3 weeks, told me they called the GM engineers but never documented it. Gave us the car back, said it was fixed but the engine light came on within one hour driving the car home. Called the dealer back, they offered no solution, left us very disappointed. We decided to try the local Chevrolet dealer, Sonic Chevrolet in Walhalla, SC. They had the car for two months, replaced a number of sensors. Contacted the GM engineers, started a issue ticket with them. Sonic Chevrolet took the time with us and said if the light comes on again there are only two things left, one that will cost $700.00 and the other that costs $1,000.00. They said the engineers told them they have never seen this happen before.Well after two days the light is back on. Since we have already spent $1,000 on parts and another $650 on new tires. I should say we originally purchased the car new and always had it serviced by GM dealers and mechanics on a regular basis. We will be bringing the car back to Sonic Chevrolet in Walhalla SC. With this issue, one needs to ask, why would anyone want to buy a GM vehicle when the computer or engineers cannot find out why the engine light is on? Seems to me that if there was no computer you wouldnt need all of the sensors and there wouldnt be a issue with a engine light, and I wouldnt have had the car tied up for three months or had to spend the money on top of the regular service we had done.
No battery. Called Buick roadside service. Help came shortly. Took to Buick garage. No problem found. Must be a Poor quality battery. No replacement. Shame on Buick for inadequate battery on my LaCrosse.
You can usually go find you a decent vehicle at a reasonable price. The cars are very safe and they keep you updated on any recalls. My favorite car is the Buick LeSabre. It has been a blessing to me and my family. It has the sporty look that I love. Came in my favorite color which is black. I enjoyed the sun roof as a commodity on days when I didnt wanna run my air conditioner. The back camera on the license plate and the Aux cord was a plus too. The lights on the rear bumper view let you really see behind you. Although, I had a small car so you fit just the people I needed. The trunk has more than enough space on it. The passenger seat was heat and air conditioning in that side.
I received a letter from Buick saying that the timing chain on my 2011 Regal could break causing engine damage (Really?). They said I should not take it to the dealership and they would not do anything about it until it broke, so they extended the warranty on the engine. If I am on the interstate doing 70 mph and the chain breaks, the engine stops and I lose steering. That is a really comforting thought. I could get killed or even worse. How long have they been making timing chains? Do they not test components any more? Buick is supposed to be a quality vehicle. What has happened to GM? When I contacted Buick, they were very sympathetic and said they were sorry and hoped nothing happened. Me too.
Buicks variety is very good. They have a lot of models and colors you can choose from. Every time they make a new one they become more advanced. The appearance and the standard features of the cars are great. The inside of the car is very detailed and have an overall great appearance. It is equipped with a quality air bag. The passenger capacity is great. The leg room is amazing, my passengers never complain about little leg room. And the seats are really comfortable. However, I am only satisfied because they could have made it better but its still good. I would like if I could personalize the inside of my car before I bought it or had a better variety of colors like rose gold because thats my favorite color. But overall I would definitely recommend.
Who makes Vehicles between cars and two full size SUVs. Buick seemed to contain a sleek, stylish yet realistic look. They stay up on Trends and tend to know what the consumer is looking for. They always try to provide the best looking and the most up-to-date features that come with their vehicles. And the quality is amazing. Also, I am satisfied that my vehicle is all the features that it does have to offer. Vehicle that I bought is very roomy, and has enough room for at least up to six passengers. Its a perfect family vehicle if thats what you were looking for.
Frustrated and disappointed owner of a 2010 Buick Enclave CXL with 86,000.00 miles. I cannot begin to describe how awful my experience with Buick and this Enclave has been. Ive owned this vehicle for 3 years bought it used at 30,000 miles with full maintenance records including tune ups and oil changes. Since Ive had the vehicle I have experienced the following: I have been left stranded on the freeway 4 times with 3 small children ranging from ages 3 months of age to 5 years of age with the same recurring issue Reduced engine power. I kid you not, the vehicle begins to fail locks up and then shuts off. I cant begin to describe how incredibly dangerous and frightful that experience is of having your vehicle shut off on you while traveling at 50-70 miles an hour with small children in the vehicle. And to make matters worse its out of warranty so I have paid over 13,000.00 in repairs alone. At least once a year our beloved family car shuts off and leaves us stranded in an incredibly dangerous situation and all Buick can say is we are sorry, you have had such a negative experience with this vehicle. Maybe its just a bad batch, lets offer you a newer model. As delightful as that sounds its not something I cant afford to do when I have paid you in full for a vehicle that doesnt work. And these vehicles are not cheap. Yes its a beautiful vehicle and has great features such as on star, blue tooth, heated leather seats, full 3rd row, towing capabilities, wood trim and all the other bells and whistles but Ive spent more money than any consumer needs to pay for a newer vehicle with low mileage. Since May of 2013 Ive had the following issues, power steering failure, reduced engine power (yearly occurrence), replacing a water pump twice, fuel injectors twice and transmission issues and those AC failing on one side of the vehicle. My biggest concerns are Safety and Reliability, your vehicles are not safe. I am proof of that and I have all the towing documents and dealership repair receipts to prove it. When you hear Oh my goodness, you are all lucky to be alive from your own Buick service technicians and other customers when explaining to them why your car is not working and why you were walking in from a ride on a small and uncomfortable tow truck with 3, yes 3 small children in car seats... you might just want to reach out to your customer and offer them a replacement or reimbursement. This is not how I would handle my business, this is not the type of poor service or experience any customer should endure, especially a client who has been loyal and understanding and paid their vehicle on full. I hope this helps other very frustrated consumers like myself who do not plan on remaining silent while companies like Buick continue to make money and make mistakes that might one day cost us our lives.
I have a 2006 Buick Lucerne, purchased new and maintained regularly at GM dealership as per the maintenance manual. Last week of December 2012, a grinding noise was heard. My wife took it in to Highland Dealership in Aurora, ON and she was told after a thorough check up that there was nothing to worry about and she could drive it safely. Four days later, I took the car back to the dealership complaining about the same noise. Later on that day, they called me to let me know that the transmission broke down while they were test driving it.Again, the car was maintained regularly as per the maintenance manual at the GM dealership and they had flushed the transmission at 65K. The transmission broke down at 124K. I have never pulled or towed anything with the car. I was surprised, called in to GM Canada customer service to complain and was told by a manager that regular car maintenance at the dealership means nothing and will not elongate the life of the car. What had happened was an expected mechanical failure and is due to bad luck! Sorry, you are on your own and the dealership that repaired my car gave me an excellent deal and I should be happy. I just could not believe my ears and after all the expensive maintenance as recommended by GM at a GM dealership, it does not elongate the life of a car and GM Buick transmission is made to last only 120K?!
I purchased a 2007 Buick Lucerne for my mother. The car has had some issues. I currently am deployed to Afghanistan. Now, the car is making noise from the transmission, a suspected plastic plate on the flex plate between the torque converter and flex plate. I have been told this may not be covered, even with a warranty. I am now on a limited budget and will be expected to pay about $2800.00 for another bad design. I am a mechanic in the Navy and find it hard to believe that a car with less than 55,000 miles should have this kind of trouble. I am asking for some help to correct this issue.
Let me start out by saying that the Verano is a nice looking car. However, I have noticed that the transmission can randomly shift hard, and sometimes the car hesitates a bit when I try to accelerate. I hope this car doesnt give me any problems at all.
I just purchased a 1995 Lesabre for basically nothing so I cant complain much, but the problems Im facing is about 5 minutes after I first crank the car, it suddenly dies. It cranks right back up but the Security light comes on and about ten minutes after that, the engine light comes up. It seems to run better after the engine light comes on, which I figured is the computer trying to correct something that is wrong. Other than that the steering is super noisy, which is expected out of a 20 year old car. I love the way the car rides, its super smooth and runs great other than the problems Ive listed. The car is a 3800 with around 220k miles on it.
There were so much variety to pick from it took me a little to go through. Love the selection of vehicles. The appearance is just awesome and very sporty looking. There are so many upgrade features and you have so many options to personal features. Love every feature offering. The passenger capacity is very spacious with lots of leg room, plenty of armrest, and no feeling cooped up in a vehicle to where it is uncomfortable. Its comfortable all around. Its just an awesome company all around and Id recommend to anyone.
My car is a nice SUV and it has Bluetooth blind spot and aux cord and back up cam. Its good on gas and roomy, comes with a sunroof and the staff knew exactly what I was looking for. The Color is nice and has chrome on the side mirror, the tag plate and dashboard. I had upgrades but strip seats in. I also asked them to put a cover in the trunk so I dont sharched and chrome on the wheels and tint on the windows. It is really nice to ride around in. I have a big family and we go on road trips and everyone is just fine in the car and there is a lot of head room and leg room and a lot of trunk space.
I was forced to purchase a new to me vehicle after my 1989 Chevy CK1500 pickup truck with 750,000 miles on it was totaled when a kid ran a stop sign. On 2-21-19, I purchased a 1991 Buick Park Avenue Ultra from a farmer that parked it outside on gravel. It had 116,000 miles on it. I paid $2350.00. I had some work done by my local garage that I have been doing business with since 1988. It needed a new gas tank, shocks and a few other items. I have it serviced regularly. Due to being parked on gravel, rust has taken over the undercarriage. I need to replace the car not because of mechanical issues, but because it is rusting away. I like this car so much that I am seeking another one. **, my mechanic told me to stick with the 3600 Series motor and do get a turbocharged one. He said that you have to change the oil in the turbo unit. I agreed. I no longer have the need for speed. Im 67, I want comfort. This car never failed me. I use to drive 100 miles a day back and forth to work. It got 30mpg on the highway and 20-22 in the city. I drove mostly on the highway. The car took me to Indiana twice, Tennessee twice without missing a beat. I know how to parallel park. I can turn on and off my headlights and wipers. The problems I see here are people want all the bells and whistles. Well, there is a price to pay for all that.
Have made multiple contacts to Buick Customer Assistance Center with no resolution. I sent a certified letter with pictures of safety issue with Buick Regal seat belt. No one contacted me even though they signed for the letter. I made numerous calls to them with continuous run around on their part. I have already had to have part of the seat belt replaced once and it is still something wrong with it. You would think they would care about safety issue but it is apparent they dont care. They just tell me to take the car back to the dealership and wait. I like my car overall but after the lack of care from the Customer Assistance Center, have second thoughts. I am not asking them to fix the radio or an optional feature. It is a law to wear seat belt while driving motor vehicle.
I have a 2012 Verano. Paint started coming off hood. It has never been parked under trees. Now paint on roof and top of truck is all faded. The sides are starting to look the same. Out of my bumper to bumper warranty 3000 miles ago. It has to be defective paint. GM is going to look at it they said.
Just purchased my 2012 Lacrosse in March 2016. Its been at the dealership twice for a total of 23 days, and as of today they still dont have a diagnosis. They cant tell me that my car is safe to drive or that it isnt going to leave me stranded. Only that they dont know what causing the very loud noise thats coming from somewhere in the engine. My car only has 50,000 miles. I could have purchased a new car for what I paid for my used car but I really thought I wanted a Buick. Not...
I was waiting at a signal in my 2015 Buick Enclave, I heard a loud boom. I looked thru the rear view mirror as I heard the sound of the glass shattering then it exploded. The glass exploded into my car, landing on the front seat, mid row seat and on the dashboard. The lady behind me witnessed the whole thing. She said nothing hit my car window as we looked for signs of anything on the ground and in the car. Im so thankful my children (who love the third row) were not in the car.
I went looking for a different type of car. As I looked I saw several of this brand and they all seemed comfortable. And yet they were fuel efficient. I have found it to be both. It is not as sleek as I would like but that is due more to the age of the car than to the workmanship. I overall like the style and appearance of this type of car. I have electric doors and automatic locks are not present but that is due to age of the vehicle. This vehicle will seat 6 people comfortably which was great. Yet if there are only 2 people it is comfortable and effective than I thought it would be. It is good that it has child proof doors.
There are many different models to suit your personal needs. Everything from a classic everyday car to a more adventurous model. The prices and offers are fantastic and you always know youre getting a great quality vehicle. These cars are always sleek and modern. They look fantastic whether its just an everyday driver or a weekend cruiser. There are many different options that come preloaded. There are also many different aftermarket options you can add on to give it your own personal touch. The interior of my car is very spacious. There are enough seats to hold 5 people, with plenty of room leftover to make you feel comfortable and relaxed.
Within two years of owning this vehicle (2014 Buick Verano) we noticed what appeared to be paint looking dull on the hood, roof and trunk lid. The change was gradual and now there is no top coat left - did anyone else experience this with their Buicks? Our car is black. We do not live near the ocean.
The vehicle was approaching 95,000 km and I wanted to replace the spark plugs. I usually do this myself. I determined that the motor required rotation to access the rear plugs. I disconnect the motor mounts and crank over the motor with a crowbar. I spent $350.00 dollars for 6 spark plugs qualified my next vehicle to be rear wheel drive with the motor placed in the position that Jesus Christ intended motors to be. Probably a Chrysler 300 and GM can kiss my ***. They lost a lifelong customer.
2014 Buick Verano NEW purchase MAJOR issues owned 11 weeks. Purchased NOV. 2014. Front end has a WOBBLE at 12-15 mph that shakes the steering wheel in my hand. Taken in 5 time for this issue. WAS TOLD is a CHARACTERISTIC of the NEW car. The TRANSMISSION was deemed to have an internal leak and the INPUT OUTPUT SENSOR needed to be replace, still has WOBBLE, have a claim with GM. Dealer that sold it to me will not help me. GM will not replace the vehicle with another nor take this one back. Driver seat squeaked horrible, took in 5 times for them to repair, left car seat in disrepair. Heater in driver leather seat was all busted - had to replace. Heated seats not working, took back again for repair 2 times. Heated steering wheel not working, took back again for repair. A/C unit inconsistent temperature, blowing hot on one side ice cold the other, both set at same temp!! Would not fix, stated was not reproducible. Blower motor VERY loud with or without A/C unit operating, taking back again today!!!
Bought a used 2012 Buick Enclave with just 60k miles on it. I was told it was a great safe family vehicle (by sales associate). 3 days after purchase the #2 injector failed and stranded us. We brought it back to dealership and they took it to Buick hall and had it repaired. A week later we were stranded again for the same issue (reduced power, smoking, fumes in car, stabilitrak alert all the same symptoms). This time we took it back to Buick hall and they said it was just an injector misfire, refused to replace it. We asked about recalls and they said there were none. A few weeks later all the same things happened and we called them. They wanted 200 to test fuel system, knowing we knew what the issue was, then said if it was in fact the injectors again its eight hundred per faulty injector. I have NEVER had so many issues with a vehicle in my life. We are a single income household with four young boys, we cant afford to shell out all this money and now we are stuck in an unsafe lemon that has stranded my family on the side up the road for this same issue several times since. Total of 6 months weve had this LEMON!!!
There are several different models like hybrid and electric as well as gas. It has different colors and different styles that fit a range of personalities. The Buick is white with a nice silver trim with voice automated features, it is digital and it has mobile apps with wifi capabilities and power steering and its reasonable prices. You have the ability to customize your interior as well as the technology included you can add music apps navigation apps restaurant and even adding voice recognition. It has a lot of extra room for extra people to squeeze in and has the ability to pull cargo also a very roomy trunk space with folding seats.
Buick corporation and GM Corporation you guys have the nerve to send my a survey asking my opinion of the service from my dealership. Well lets see. You guys have had my car almost as much as I have considering my car has been to the dealership 13 times and you all still cant seem to fix it. Hire people who know what they are doing. Buick corporation you guys are the biggest ** of all. Ive contacted you all twice concerning this car and you all have basically told me keep working with the dealership even after explaining your certified dealership cant seem to fix the issue. So I will say this. People stay away. This cars are junk. They will sell you a certified lemon. It will say certified car which is suppose to mean as good as any new car. It should really have stated certified lemon garbage rolling nightmare, POS that no one will ever fix because they dont know the issue. Do not contact Buick Corp because you will be wasting your time as they true just want you to keep bringing your car in replace parts that shouldnt need replacing and by time its all said and done you could have purchased a new car because by time you truly find the problem you will have spent more money fixing the rolling POS that they certified.
Buick had a wide selection of styles to choose from, whether you are looking for a small fuel efficient compact car or a roomy SUV with towing capabilities. Their body style maintains a long standard classic feel while staying trendy with the latest features. Basic stock options are available, but there is a wide selection of upgrades available too. Deciding between fabric or leather interior, power or manual windows and locks, cruise control isnt going to be easy with the large selection of upgrades they offer. Additionally, Buick offers a wide variety of passenger capacity with their vehicles. Whether you need something small for just you or a large vehicle to transport the soccer team, you can find it with Buick.
I purchased a 2019 Buick Enclave $32,000 in March 2020. My vehicle has now been in the shop for 5 months with airbag problems and Buick can not give me a date of when the part will be shipped and my car repaired. Every week the advisor said she can not give a date and no updates. I have only driven my new car for four months, Im still making the high payments, paying the insurance etc. I ask them to buy the car back and they refused. I would never recommend Buick and they do not care about their customers.
This brand has so many different models to choose from, and so many luxurious styles for its wide variety of consumers. Buick is a brand that is loved the whole way around. This brand has a very distinct cloud of features that make the Buick stand out. It also has front facing features that make it look sad as you walk away from driving. Its so cool. Buick comes with a lot of space for any situation, whether its family, friends or just ring in general. Making upgrades or even receiving them from this brand makes having a Buick well worth it in the end. This is why I believe a lot of consumers choose Buick.
These cars should be took off the market. I paid 17000 for this 2009 Buick Lucerne, low mileage, but had not made 3 payments and this? Relay box burning, could catch vehicle on fire. I will not let my grandchildren ride in my car. Buick needs to take all of these vehicles off the road, and the car company they bought it from needs to offer them another vehicle so no one can be burnt up!
With Buick, you can have a sunroof put in, remote start, security alarm, leather seats, Bose stereo and speakers, always worth the money. DVD and CD player with USB attachments are installed too. The smooth lines of the body, the distance in the lights, without leather also, stereo, surrounding sound, feels like it had a lot of room when riding passengers. I can take myself, my mother, three other grown adults and have so much leg room to stretch out, you dont feel like youre squished, on top of each other. Park Avenue had more of a luxury feel to it, nice leather, drives easily, comfortable, feels great on the road, feels like youre in your chair at home. Definitely recommended.
Update 11/21/2019: I did reach out again to GM and again they denied any help. I firmly believe that if word gets out , they did mine, that there will be others banging on their doors with legal representationI was very professional and nice ,I stated ,and not even a percentage ,their response ,we are not changing our decision. Whats upsetting is that this is a known issue. Original review:I ordered a 2011 Buick LaCrosse CXL AWD, it is a loaded vehicle, almost every option, it has and always will be garaged, maintained by buick, it is always clean and washed, waxed, and maintained, looks like brand new. In and out, in early June of 2019, I noticed paint coming off my vehicle in flakes, I luckily have a close friend who has a auto body shop near me, he saw it and was totally surprised to see paint flaking off the vehicle on the left side rear roof area and on the right side rear defroster glass body channel area, the rear glass had to be removed for repaint, headlines dropped, and repaired as necessary, its like new, since the auto body shop my friend owns is very professional.I reached out to General Motors with pictures and a estimate, they denied any repairs due its age, and not even a percentage, buick offered and gave me $100.00 as a service voucher. The vehicle has received many compliments on how it looks and drives, this is my vehicle, my last vehicle, and I maintain it like new. The repairs actually came to $2400.00Funny thing is that it is white, and GM had a problem then on white and silver cars due to the paint flaking off due to improper application of primer, and Mary T Barra had buick executive office reach out to me, which they never did, I reached out to her, and she appeared to read a pre scripted letter on paint, little does she know, I have been around cars for a long time, from Chevrolet, Ford and I recently retired from a BMW dealership after 19.5 years and she is telling me how it is, the problem is, general motors offered nothing, not even a percentage on something that they knew and know was a problem.
It offers several models. It has the Buick Lacrosse and the Buick Regal. The exteriors of both cars are roomy and comfortable. Both are an easy drive over many types of terrain. The Lacrosse comes with heated leather seats with lumbar adjustment, free 4G wifi, and exterior has clean and bold chrome. It has a V6 engine and includes OnStar technology. It also has voice-activated technology. It has air conditioning, power steering and Bose sound surround. It has remote keyless entry and vehicle starter system plus a moon roof. It has a seating capacity for 5 people with plenty of leg and head room. It comes with a lock system for rear view baby seats. It also have headrests for passengers.
I recently purchased a 2012 Buick LaCrosse AWD. I traded in a 2008 Chevrolet Impala LTZ. After driving the Buick for several months now, I wish I had the Impala back. The Buick is a beautiful car with a huge defect. GM has designed and programmed the 6-speed automatic transmission to shift at over 5,000 RPM. At the high RPM, the engine noise is very noticeable. Perhaps the worst effect is that the high RPM sucks gas and the car gets nowhere near the advertised mileage. The Buicks engine has as much, if not more power, than the Impala so the high shift points are completely unnecessary. They will result in higher engine and transmission wear, and they are killing the gas mileage. I am seeing growing complaints from other Buick LaCrosse owners, but when I contacted Buicks Customer Service about the problem, they blew me off saying the car is performing normal. They wouldnt admit the other complaints, and refuse to discuss any remedy. When entering the highway and accelerating to highway speed, the transmission only uses three of the six speeds before reaching the speed limit. I choked when I heard the new Chevrolet Cruze TV commercial say, With the 6-speed transmission, it allows for lower shift points. If this is the way GM is going to treat loyal customers, then its time for me to check out Toyota and Honda. I dont know how Buick avoided the Gas Guzzler Tax with this vehicle. Someone must have lied to EPA.
I bought a Buick Century from my parents a couple of years ago. It was in tremendous condition, spotless. But in that period of time, the following has happened: The plastic gaskets GM uses in their vehicles deteriorated causing a major repair, the power windows failed, the catalytic converter went twice, I am told the anti-freeze used in these vehicles is faulty and is slowly eating away at the interior of the rubber hoses causing a horrible sludge problem in the radiator. And if all that isnt costly enough, the paint is literally falling off my beautiful car. Buick of course will do nothing, everything is out of warranty. I miss my Toyota vehicles that I easily got 200,000+ miles on with none of these horrible issues. I would never recommend or purchase a GM vehicle again. What a piece of **.
My full review of this 2018 Buick Enclave Avenir is yet to be made as Ive only had it for a few weeks. However, to say Im completely satisfied out of the box that answer is a big NO. All the technology on this car can be quite confusing and to make that point try and call the OnStar service to find out about those things that are not clear in the manual and theyll put you on hold to go look in the manual. Really, their support people are poorly trained and somewhat useless when you call. No auto rain sensing windshield wipers which even the salesperson didnt know as he tried to convince me that we had them after Id called and had to turn them on and off in a rainstorm wed driven through. Connect 10 Bluetooth devices including your phone yet if youre using another device other than your phone, then your phone wont answer through the car. Hands free on the phone is one of the most important features a car can have for obvious safety reasons. Im still working out what I like and dislike about the car but with a car that costs you over $60,000 youd expect the simple things to be there and to work. On one last thing with Onstar, not sure whether they outsource it or not as have talked to a few who I cant even understand other than not being able to answer simple questions. Its a comfortable ride, quiet and great space when third row seats down but many other cars have that and the above problems not there. Just a bit disappointed.
I have owned many buicks that is why I am upset that at 39901 miles I had a steering ck leak. Bergstrom buick replaced the steering gear and alignment. The cost--parts-734.16 and labor 997.50 a total for some reason of 1731.66. I was also advised by bergstrom that this repair is only warranted for 1 year. I also noted that steering problems have considerable for this model.
The 2003 Buick Century was originally purchased by my mother in 2007. I inherited the car in 2010. At the time the car was purchased, my mother needed a car that was easy to get in and out of with limited mobility. It has been reliable, comfortable transportation for 9 years. The bench front seat has been especially welcome when driving with two small dogs. Ive never owned an American car that has lasted so long. However, there is a switch for the heater and air conditioner that corrodes from condensation. The entire dashboard needed to be removed to replace it. They should make something like that easier to access for repairs.
I purchased a 2018 Regal TourX in August of 2018. On December 8th while parked the car was hit from behind. My hatch was damaged. That week the dealership requested parts. We received a call from the dealership stating that A new hatch was not available and there was no known date for delivery of the part. They asked if I wanted to have them bump out the dents and do a body and paint repair. I said no, it was a brand new car. I wanted the new part. I didn’t want to deal with corrosion down the road. The first of January the dealership called and suggested we escalate our problem to Buick Customer Service. We did. It took 2 weeks to speak to someone at customer service. She stated she would called me back within 3 business days. She didn’t. After 5 days I started calling her. I could not reach her. I left several messages over the next week and finally heard from a ‘Senior Care representative. She took the details again and said she would call me back in two days. She did not. After 3 I started calling her and leaving messages. I finally spoke with her after a few days and told her that I wanted to talk with someone higher up the chain than her. She said I could not speak with that person directly but she could. She said she would speak to him and then follow up with me within two business days. She did not. I called her and left messages. I finally spoke to her yesterday and she had this follow up information for me: the Manager she spoke with said I had been offered a repair at the dealership that was adequate and I chose not to take it. Because of that and the fact that this is not a warranty issue it’s not a high priority for Buick and they would not release a part from production for the repair. The part is on backorder indefinitely. We’ve owned 7 Buicks in the course of our marriage as well as 5 Pontiacs and a few Chevys. We build vehicles for the emergency rescue vehicle market. I can not imagine delivering a message like that to any customer. Buick, I am so disappointed in you.
Buick has a great variety of vehicles. It was a wonderful color, kinda looked black but in the sunlight it was a deep purple. It had an on dash Gps that was placed very nicely, I didnt have to take my eyes off the road to look at it. It also had heated seats, for Michigan that is wonderful. My son is over six foot tall, and he did in the passenger side with comfort. The back seat was quite roomy as well. It had a hatchback making it easy to load and unload groceries. But I would love to buy the smaller Suv they have out now. It seems very stylish and so Good be excellent on gas mileage.
Buick offers a wide range of vehicles to suit every need, ranging from mid to full sized sedans (Verano, Regal, and LaCrosse) to mid to full-sized SUVs (Encore, Envision, and Enclave). It even offers a convertible, the Cascada. You can easily build and customize your new Buick on the website. The prices and descriptions are well outlined, so you know exactly what you are getting. The images to the vehicle update in real time and you choose your options. The largest vehicle can easily accommodate seven passengers with room to spare. The Envision offers a roomy interior with a sleek, stylish look. It comes with standard AWD and a turbo-charged 4 hp engine. The vehicle offers a variety of cargo, exterior and interior color packages and interior cargo lining to prevent damage to the vehicle. It is all about interior comfort and style.
Buick commercials joke about the lines new and sleek look but the appearance is no joke. My car is a showstopper and I love seeing it parked outside stores. It offers a wide variety of models, offering a good fit for any family looking for a bigger car or retirees looking for classy elegance. It has plenty of space for my bulky car seats and wider passengers! Good trunk space too. Car seat and groceries fit, a big win in this moms book! Various upgrade and personalization options include sunroof and leather. You name it and you can get it in your new Buick. The extra touches show how Buick goes the extra mile for customers.
Buick brand cars are fairly standard looking with some full size cars and some small compact cars such as Gran Sport, Buick Century, Buick LeSabre. Their full size cars are size of the biggest cars of all brands. I recommend the passenger options for the Buick brand. They have a lot of large, spacious cars and even their sport models and small compact models are very spacious with front and back seats.
On April 9, 2015 I was in a frontal impact accident. After it hit the front my vehicle then rolled over landing on the passengers side. I did have my seatbelt on, however, my head still hit the steering wheel. The windshield was heavily damaged going into the car on the drivers side. I had to be taken to the hospital via EMS where I got 8 stitches to my left arm, and countless tests. I still have to go to physical therapy for my right shoulder. The vehicle had to be towed via flatbed truck. Windshield and airbag a huge safety concern. I have had two GM vehicles, one an 07 Malibu and this 06 Buick Rendezvous. The Malibu was part of a massive recall and I feel like GM needs to take a further look into the quality of vehicles they are selling, while placing thousands of people in harms way.
I love this car! Its safe, a clean/solid ride with low maintenance. Takes a synthetic oil and doesnt need to be changed but every 7500 miles. Its a little slow picking up speed, but its pretty good on gas. Nice starter car or one for the pre-retirement stage of ones life.
I picked a used 2013 Verano Turbo with 6-speed manual transmission. What delight to drive and has been worry free for 20,000 miles Ive owned. I set the cruise control at 70 mph and the little Turbo sees 37 mpg all day long. It is super quiet and handles like a dream. I like the Verano so I leased a Buick Encore for two years. When the short 20,000 mile lease was up I was sad to see squirt be returned. Again another flawless Buick I have owned and a joy to drive.
Its a great car and I felt its safe, too. I LOVE to show it off as well and all my friends and family like to look at it and they say they want that car too. There are lot of features like the cool seats and the doors. Maybe if I can, I might add some new ones, too, like a talking phone but I might as install a car gps. Its really cool and fun neat car to have. You can fit more than five people in it and thats really cool because sometimes I have more than three people who want to ride with me.
Buick has been a trusted car company since 1904 with the Model N all the way to today with the Enclave. They are a brand I trust and always will. They have all the latest tech for any modern person from Bluetooth capabilities to on board navigation. It everything someone high tech would need and it runs smooth and gets you exactly where you want to go without problems. It seats my whole family of 6. My partner drives, Im in the passenger seat, my parent in the back with the two kids. They all fit snuggly. Oh and uncle Gerald and aunt Millie fit in the trunk quite nicely if needed and they have no qualms about it.
My first car was a brand new 1989 edition and I like it. It was durable and I had it for 5 years before I got my next car. It had outstanding mileage and it was safe to drive. I had the complete package. The color was blue and it had sunroof top electronic Windows, AC, and alarm system. It makes me feel great. The car had a lot of room for 5 people to capacity. It was my family car. Thank you. Remember what you pay for is what you get.
The Buick Enclave for my family of six has given me nothing but problems. My check engine light would stay on majority of the time. It use to sound like something up under the vehicle was loose because it would rattle really badly. Whenever you started the truck up, it would make a loud roaring sound and grinding when making a left hand turn. My heat/air went out. All of the warning signals began lighting up. My front driver tire would always go low; but I was told by the dealership that the passenger back tire sensor needed to be replaced. The list goes on and on, but now it has been inoperable and parked in front of my garage since May 4, 2017. I had just got the vehicle used from a car lot; that had just purchased it from the dealership next door to them that morning. The downside was that it was purchased AS IS and with no extended warranty. The worst part is that it was purchased to replace a car that I had just lost, due to a total loss of being in an accident where I was not the at fault driver. I went months without a vehicle after being forced to turn in the rental. Now, my family has to endure being without a running vehicle now for almost a year. It is extremely unethical on GMs part because they were already aware of many of their plethora of models/years before they even started. Now, my family has been going in debt to pay for a vehicle that we cannot drive. I have been forced to turn down temp jobs because the strain of lack of multiple public transit routes not coinciding with job schedules. Most people in social media groups have been bragging about at last getting rid of their money pit vehicles. I wish that was even an option for me. However, if I was even able to afford to get it fixed, I would still be taking a major loss with the $4000 that I put down plus the loan payments that we are currently still making in addition to when I was still making full coverage insurance payments. That could have been going towards the loan payments, repairs, or even another vehicle.
At 76k miles, the radiator is faulty. The transmission fluid mixed with engine coolant. The radiator, all hoses, and lower intake manifold gaskets had to be replaced. The cost was $1500 and that was with discount. Also, the oxygen sensor had to be replaced (separate issue). The car is rusting and the paint is peeling off. Whats really scary is that I had minimal indication of the radiator problem, no warning lights/check engine light went on. I just discovered fluid leaking on my driveway. The engine wasnt running bad. But had I not acted quickly, within another hundred miles my engine would have blown up had the fluid got in it. This is ridiculous for a car with only 76k miles on it. I paid almost $20k for this car. I used it in December 2005 and have only put 50k miles on it! I will never buy another GM car again, ever! Its sad too because my dad retired from GM. Next time, I am buying Japanese.
Ignition module failure 8/11/2014. After 58000 miles my 2008 Lucerne would not start. Repaired by dealer for $500. Have complaint number but so far no response from GM.
