Audi Reveals Big Changes To 2023 Model Range
Posted On: April 22, 2022
Recently, Audi rolled out a release specifying all of the upcoming changes for its lineup in 2023. The point is to show us all that Audi deserves a place in the luxury segment at every level, from entry-level luxury cars like the Audi Q3 and A3, to much larger and more stately vehicles like the A8 and Q8. We thought it fitting to work through the massive list of changes to Audi's equally massive lineup. Changes include everything from paint colors to interior updates that customers will be able to see or feel as soon as 2023 model year vehicles begin rolling off the Audi production line in Ingolstadt. The A3's 2023 Updates Make It More LuxernMost of the Audi A3's 2023 updates are centered around making the car just a little nicer to be in. However, there are some more meaningful aesthetic changes as well. The latter means that the A3 now comes standard with LED headlights, door armrests in leatherette, and a wireless charger for purchasers of the Convenience pack on both the A3 and S3. Audi's Premium Plus trim also brings an LED lighting package and new birch wood inlays. Buyers of the Premium trim level can now also purchase adaptive cruise control as a standalone option for 2023. Finally, Audi has added a new 18-inch 5-spoke wheel for cars optioned with the Black Optic package. Audi's A4 & A5 Get Plenty Of New GoodiesrnFor the A4, 2023 changes mean an update to the A4's Premium Plus trim level. It'll now see the addition of a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system as standard. From there, the A4 Allroad, and the A4 40 and 45 models now get standard LED headlights and DRLs while Audi's Black Optic pack is now available on Premium Plus and Prestige trims on the Allroad. Also available is the brand's Manhattan gray paint, and 18-inch 5-spoke wheels. The sportier A4 45's Black Optic pack now blacks out the exhaust tips and rear lip spoiler. rnDon't go thinking the high-performance Audi S4 is left out either. In addition to adding adaptive cruise control to the A4 family's Convenience Package, the S4 gets a new Black Optic Plus update that includes black rocker sill blades, rear lip spoiler, exhaust tips, and Audi badges. Audi's 18-inch wheels are now 19-inchers with standard summer tires (all seasons are still available), and there's a new Audi Sport pack that includes black interior surfaces with red stitching and carbon inlays. Some paint changes have been made to the A4 and A5 lineup. Audi has replaced Quantum gray with Chronos gray, and District green is now available for the whole A4/5 lineup. Unfortunately, Audi's Turbo blue is no more, joining Terra gray in the paint shop in the sky. Also gone is the Audi RS5's Sonoma green, which has been replaced with Ascari blue. rnThe larger Audi A5 has a similarly long list of changes. Like the A4, LED headlights are here for the entire lineup, along with a Bang & Olufsen system (but only on the Premium Plus trim). The lineup will also now benefit from adaptive cruise in the Convenience package, while a new 18-inch, 5-spoke wheel is now available on the A5's coupe, sportback, and cabriolet body styles. The A5 Cabriolet also gets S line exterior changes, illuminated door sills, new grey oak wood inlays, and sportier front seats. Again, like the A4, the A5's Black Optic pack now covers the exhaust tips and rear lip spoiler. The Audi S5 Sportback and coupe also get the S4's Black Optic Plus pack and Audi Sport interior. Audi's Luxurious A6, A7, and A8 Get Their Share ToornPremium trim Audi S6, A6, A7, and S7 models now benefit from the brand's adaptive cruise and lane-keep software, for starters. Speaking of assists, Prestige models now get Audi's remote parking software. Audi has also updated some interior furnishings for the lineup, too. The S6 and S7 now have an Audi Sport pack with black leather and red stitching throughout, including red-edged seatbelts. Audi's big S-branded saloons also benefit from LED interior lighting, heated rear seats, and an extended leather upgrade with all of Audi's driver-assist software for the Premium Plus trim level. Finally, the RS6 and RS7 both get a new microfiber headliner, which makes its way into Prestige trim A6 Allroads too. The Audi A8's list of changes is decidedly less comprehensive. For 2023, remote park assist plus has been added to the A8 Executive package, as well as the S8. HD Matrix-design LED headlights are available as part of the Comfort plus package. Finally, Audi S8 now has a new Valcona leather interior option. Audi's Most Popular SUVs Aren't Left OutrnFirst, the Audi Q3. Full LED headlights and DRLs are standard for all Q3 models and trims, which is something of a theme. Audi is adding that feature to many of its models. The Q3's dated phone box is now gone, replaced with a more modern wireless charging pad. Additionally, Q3 40 models get a new 18-inch, 5-spoke wheel, and optional 19-inch V-spoke wheels, the latter of which is part of a new Black Optic package for premium trims. That adds a black rear lip spoiler and exhaust tips to existing black bits on the car. Finally, the Q3 45 gets new 20-inch wheels with summer tires as an option, but only if you grab the aforementioned Black Optic pack. The Audi Q5's list of changes for 2023 is somewhat more succinct, despite it being Audi's top-selling product. Unlike other Audi models, you won't need the Convenience Package to get adaptive cruise control. Instead, it's now standard on both Q5 and SQ5 models. Speaking of packages and trims, the Premium Plus trim level now gets a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, something carried over to other models in the range. Audi also swapped Quantum gray for Chronos gray on Q5 45, Q5 55, and SQ5 models. The Audi Q7 Has A New EnginernAudi has added its much-loved and much-used turbocharged four-cylinder to the Q7, which now makes 13 more horsepower than last year's model, at 261 hp. Again, Audi's Matrix LED headlights can be found in the Premium Plus trim, with those same lights coming as standard in the Q7 55 trim. Speaking of trims, both the Q7 and SQ7 now have remote park assist for the Prestige trim, with adaptive cruise and lane-keep again found in the 7's Convenience Package. Audi has also extended leather and leatherette surfaces on both the standard and Premium Plus models. For 2023, the SQ7 should be getting a little more quiet thanks to new dual-pane glass, but new 22-inch wheels could mitigate that effect due to road noise. We'll have to wait and see. Those 22-inch wheels will come in two different styles, in either a matte metal look or black, fitting with Audi's Black Optic pack. Each of those will be shod in summer tires from the factory. There's some paint changes as well for the Q7 lineup, with the addition of Waitomo blue, Tamarite brown, and Satellite silver now replacing 2022's blue, silver, and brown colors. Audi's Q8 Has Similar ChangesrnLike the Audi Q7, the Q8 drops its silver, blue, and brown colors in favor of new ones, identical to those found on the Q7. And, like so many other models in the range, adaptive cruise control and lane-keep are now part of the brand's Convenience package. Since Audi's LED Matrix lights are standard for the Q8, Audi has also decided to include headlight washers and the brand's signature coming/leaving home dance on the model. Like the Q7, the Q8 also now has the extended leather and leatherette options discussed above, including the extended leather found in the Premium Plus trim. A little luxury has been added to the sporty RS Q8 with electric sunshades now found on the rear doors, and a now-standard Nappa leather package. Finally, Audi's remote park program is now part of the RS Q8's executive package. Finally, we'll round off this massive list of changes with a few of Audi's EVs, starting with the e-tron and e-tron Sportback. The optional black headliner from last year is now standard, so no more mismatched headliners and material colors. Audi has also made the 22-inch wheels you see below standard on the Sportback, along with those killer orange calipers. There are some safety enhancements too, with new rear side airbags and illuminated seat belt buckles, including those Matrix headlights. Audi's Black Optic pack has also been rolled in with the Sportback's Prestige trim. Audi's sportier e-tron S and Sportback S models get a hair lighter with carbon fiber interior inlays, and the LED interior package is now standard for both body styles. The S model changes finish off with now-standard Matrix headlights. Last but not certainly not least, Audi has some changes for the Porsche Taycan-based Audi e-tron GT and its small-and-sporty Audi TT. The e-tron GT most notably now has a new body-color grille, along with a second charge port on the passenger side of the car. Happily, locking lug nuts are now standard, with all-season tires. While we're on the subject, the e-tron GT's Performance pack now has summer tires. 21-inch 10-spoke wheels in black now replace the previous year's grey ones, with the RS model adding carbon-ceramic brakes and 21-inch wheels. Also included is a toll module in the rearview mirror. Inside, all e-tron GTs now have Bang & Olufsen's 3D sound system, along with the RS getting new carbon inlays. All models also get new LED interior lighting fixtures and available heated seats via the Executive package. To top it all off, Ingolstadt has added new 18-inch wheels to the Audi TT Coupe and Roadster. That's it; the TTS is unchanged. Audi had previously pronounced the TT RS dead beyond 2022, and that seems to be true. We suspect that the changed stance is a result of production backlogs, while news on the R8 supercar will likely follow in a separate announcement. Yes, an anti-climatic end to this massive list of 2023 model year changes for the Audi lineup, but an end nonetheless. Thankfully, all of these changes will be real, tactile changes customers will be able to notice as soon as they see a 2023 Audi. Supposing the supply chain doesn't have anything to say about it.

This car will last me forever. Great high end car. Comes with all the bells and whistles like your butt to be warm. Love the leather which means I get heated seats. The sunroof is so great to have even if you only need a little air. Automatic windows are great. Could use a few more upgrade but for the most part I am happy with what I have and could not dream about getting rid of it anytime soon. There is plenty of leg room for everyone. There is even 3rd row which is nice when you ride the extra room. I would never get rid of my car.

Has to be one of the worse car manufacturers on the planet. Bought a 2010 Q5 from an Audi dealer. Dealers claim they inspect the vehicle. Have had it now for a year and a half. Put 7k miles on it. I have already spent around $5k in repairs and it is in the shop again with the dealer saying the engine needs replaced for another $11k. I now have to spend another $5k to pay it off and not have a car. Engine currently has less that 70k on it. I will never purchase another Audi/VW product in my life.

My prepaid lease on my 2017 Audi A8L was expiring. I did not receive any communication from Audi Financial that I was welcome to lease another Audi. All that I received were emails and phone calls from Audis contractor wanting to inspect my vehicle before the lease expired. When I called my otherwise good local dealer for help/advice, I was told to call Audi Financial. There is no communication between Audi Financial and the dealer. I called Audi Financial about purchasing the A8L, and was promised a mailed package that I could complete. I never received the package. It became obvious that Audi did not want to take the effort to keep me as a customer. I sold the car to Carmax for a small profit, and bought a BMW 7 series. I will not buy another Audi.

My 2005 Audi A4 purchased in December 2004 fried in 2008 due to oil sludge. My sister drove the car from D.C. to Charleston home for Thanksgiving. It had been making strange noises so she took it to the Audi dealership to have it looked at before she left. About an hour away from Charleston, the engine blew. Audi did nothing to help us even though we had the car serviced at the dealership every 10,000 miles for this exact reason. They even still expected us to make our monthly car payments. We ended up getting a new engine put in because our new car repair service had found a 2005 engine that was pretty reasonable. The same thing happened again last Friday.

I am so disappointed and disgusted with my 2009 Audi A5 that I cannot even express how bad my Audi experience is so far. I should have stayed with my Mercedes Benz. I took my car to the Audi dealership to get my window fixed and they actually caused 3 more things to break on the car and now I have to pay for it when the car is under warranty?? They put a faulty motor for my window which caused a short and now my xenon headlight is not working and they want me to pay for the headlight which they caused to break. Horrible experience with Audi service. Dealerships have incompetent and badly trained mechanics and customers need to pay for that. I will make sure I will disclose on every page I can to warn customers not to buy an Audi.

I bought a used A3 Quattro with 2800 miles in 2015. The car handles and drives very well but only if it is not in the shop. I have about 69K miles and have already had a water pump failure at 55K and now have a Gear Shift Lever Assembly issue. At about 65K the car started giving me an electronic malfunction warning and told me to stop, place the car in park and call service. I had it diagnosed to this assembly and have been told the repair is about $1700. I thought the days of poor reliability were over. I guess not! This vehicle has engineered obsolescence and is only good for the 50K warranty. I advise not buying the A3.

Ive had nothing but problems with my Audi S6 since I bought it. Dealer just replaced 2 leaking high-pressure fuel pumps and 5 fuel injectors a couple weeks ago. I was driving home after I got it back and smelt gas but didnt really think much of it at the time and thought it may have been something I was driving past. The next morning when I was letting the car warm up and getting my kids ready for school, I noticed the gas smell again and saw the car spewing gas from the engine. Car was towed to the dealer and they said it was a fuel injector failure. Called Audi of America and they basically said sorry for your issues, but just deal with them; we dont care about you or your kids, in short. This car is unsafe and Id just like to warn everyone of this failure and the way AUDI responds to the problems. The car was running with no warning that fuel was spewing from the engine! Hows that for engineering? If only someone drove by and threw a cigarette butt, or I drove the car and the leaking gas ignited. This is now 2 fuels leaks; one right after the dealer fixed the other. Oh, let me also mention that the AUDI dealer had my car for 4-months to fix the first fuel leak! They were arguing with me that it was a bad battery in the car. It was only after some techs were sent in from another AUDI dealer that they discovered the fuel issues.

Bought an A8 and it is a very nice and well appointed car. It handles and looks great. Its high-end but not as expensive as true luxury vehicles are. I usually drive either by myself or with one passenger, but theres plenty of room for driver plus four others to sit comfortably without feeling cramped. However, in recent months Ive been disappointed to find out about the mpg/emissions lies.

I have been financed 3 Audi A3s and previously have upgraded and re-financed but when my renewal came up on my 3rd I decided to pay it off & keep the car - I had no confidence in the staff & was not comfortable using them again. This is a shame as in the past theyve always been great - I dont know what theyve changed but now they are atrocious! Sales staff either have no knowledge or are not allowed to work out figures. My appointment to discuss refinance/upgrade options was booked by Audi with a sales rep. but every time we needed a figure he had to go to the manager for 10-15 mins and then come back to us to repeat what the manager had said!! I asked for a monthly figure on a particular car if I didnt pay a deposit & when I said I couldnt afford the figure his response was Its only 20 a month more than you told me you could afford, cant you find that?!!What a disgraceful thing to say to a customer, if he thinks an individual can find it, then surely an international company can work a deal so THEY find it! A few days later I called & asked if they could re-quote if I were able to pay a small deposit (if I sold mine privately and used the sale money to pay deposit), and was given EXACTLY THE SAME MONTHLY PAYMENT FIGURE as when I wasnt paying a deposit!! When I questioned this the salesman blamed me as he said I took the print out of his original quote so he no longer knew what that was!! Overall he showed no interest in looking after an existing customer & getting them to continue doing business with Audi, he had no idea what information he had previously given and left me feeling that I couldnt trust him or Audi as a company. Ive always loved Audis but Im very sad to say that based on this experience I will not use them again.

My 5 year old Audi A5 with 54,000 miles needs a new engine due to Audi having fitted a faulty cam shaft adjuster and faulty piston rings. I was getting 200 miles to a litre of oil and the top of the engine being starved of oil due to the faulty cam shaft adjuster. My cars worth £11000 approx. The engine replacement is almost £12000. Having contacted customer services who said theyll try and help with the costs and have now said they wont. The dealer has managed to reduce the cost to £10,250. Im convinced its due to the above mentioned fault recall code 15d6. Im told you cant determine when that engine was made to clarify this. I just thought Id be shown a bit more goodwill as the cars only 5 years old.

We bought a CPO 2011 Q5 from a dealer in Chicago. As we were driving it home to Ohio, I noticed that one headlight was brighter than the other. Long story short, it turns out that it had been in an accident. The dealer refused to let us return it, or have it fixed at their cost. My dream car turned into my worst nightmare. Audi customer service is by far and away the worst I have ever dealt with. On top of that my car guzzles oil (about a quart every 300 miles or so), and Im still living the nightmare of trying to have it fixed under the pending lawsuit against Audi. I would NEVER buy another Audi again.

I have a 2012 Audi A4 2.0. 80K miles. Last week without any prior symptoms my engine light goes on. I drive a few miles home the next day. My car will not start. I take it to dealer for diagnosis, dealer tells me the timing chain tensioner failed and timing jumped causing major damage to engine. Repair cost or new engine is estimated between six and fourteen thousand dollars. This is a known issue from Audi and there is a class action lawsuit for same issue. Looking for Audi USA to see if they can assist. Anyone had same issue or experience with Audi USA? Any recommendations.

I love Audi so much and its like the best thing that I have. In most cases I look at the variety because thats an important key to look at. If a car has scratches, looks old, it doesnt qualify for the look you want dont buy it. Please use your money wise. The car isnt going to last for long. The passenger capacity is good and there hasnt been any complaints in riding smoothly. We just having fun and I love it so much. Upgrade is need. Once I didnt updated my car it was in bad shape. But when you upgrade youre like very happy and proud of yourself.

A week after the refund was supposed to be mailed to me I contacted the purchasing dealership to check the status. I was told that Audi Financial Services received the refund a week prior and cash the check. The same day I contacted Audi Financial Services and was told that refund check has to clear their bank and a refund check will be mail to me within a week. Waited two weeks past the expected day of the refund. Call Audi Fin and was told that the amount of the refund was over $5000.00 and someone with higher authority have to approve the refund. I purchased a 2017 A3 in Sept 2017 at Audi Nanaimo. Ive only owned it just over a year, and purchased their Audi Care Pkg that includes 4 service appts. They recommend routine service at certain intervals, the last one being 60,000kms. I was overdue by 19,000 when I brought it in because of a strange sound while steering to the left, but still within the stated warrantied mileage. They deemed it a complete transmission failure after a $600 diagnosis and will not replace the transmission under warranty, because they said I was overdue for servicing...and the car only has 80,000km on it! They then proceeded to send me an $11,000 quote. What a scam.

The brakes on my Audi S5 failed completely at the weekend, with 3 children in my car travelling at 70 mph... and luck more than anything that I didnt have a major crash. No warning light, nothing to suggest there was a problem - one moment I had full braking capability, the next nothing. Went to Audi Uk, and because I cant prove beyond doubt that it is a car fault... they arent interested. I have bought 3 Audis new in the last 10 years - £150k spent to date and wont ever buy another one. Awful customer service! It could happen to you.

Audi has enough variety to make the whole family happy. Or if its just for yourself, you can find something stylish that youd enjoy on a day to day basis. Features are great and top of the line. Most up to date technology used in the vehicle. Safety features are very helpful, and the rest can keep you entertained. There are many upgradeable features you can put in the vehicle. You can customize it and make it your own. At an extra cost of course. The passenger capacity depends on how many people you plan to carry around with you. Whether your family is large or small. For mine, we can all fit comfortable and have a good time.

For many months I’ve had issues with the Audi website. Trying to pay my car payment online is a hassle and becomes a giant waste of time each month. The online financial services portal on their website always has issues and makes it impossible to make your payment online without calling customer service. When you try to get a hold of anyone through the phone whether it’s Audi or Audi Financial there’s an extremely long hold time, and if you take advantage of the “call back” option they have you may be able to get a call back days or even weeks later in some of my personal experiences. As I’m writing this review this issue still has not been resolved. If you are looking to finance your vehicle through Audi Financial, or care about having a good customer service experience I would highly suggest you rethink choosing Audi. So far I have enjoyed my vehicle and haven’t had any issues as a first time Audi owner, but this customer service experience will definitely be a huge part of any future decision I may make about purchasing a vehicle through Audi. Customer service and online ease of use go hand in hand with a quality vehicle, especially when it’s a luxury brand.

It has leather seats that are very comfortable and are easy to adjust. It offers great technology with built-in GPS with everything you need and satellite radio. It makes your drive a lot smoother. It offers star for emergency too and works great. The car has plenty of room for passengers and the back also has a lot of space for being a sports car.

Long story short I made the first payment of $10,000 which they lost and now claim they returned. They say the check was cashed...this was an electronic bank transfer made by my bank and the entire story from Audi makes no sense and they cannot prove how they returned the funds. I have been dealing with this for over a month and each call results in a different story from Audi Financial. If you choose to finance an Audi do so through your own bank to avoid this nightmare.

(Dealer said it was may because of bad shipment). And there was no compensation given to me. DAY 180: Safety Recalls. FIXED at Dealership at Ken GARFF, LEHI, UTAH. (Here was no compensation again). DAY 200: Tire Flats and Tire Expert (Not from AUDI) points out that Tire has torn out Heavily. Looks like Tire was not a quality one. Day 250: Windshield Breaks due to Temperature Pressure. (Wow what a quality again). DAY 260: Another Tire Burst in middle of road which should have almost lead to a major accident. (THIS HAPPENED SUNDAY 02/05/2017). (Total Miles 11500).Currently it is running on SPARE tire. I am just scared to touch the vehicle again. I have driven so many Cars and been driving for more than 5 years. But never had such a GREAT experience. That too with a NEW car which is still under warranty. DID AUDI has provided me very low quality tires and other accessories. These are costing me a ton to get it repairs... Does AUDI has nothing to do with it. This is ridiculous that after paying thousands, AUDI gives you such a quality car. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW. If something happens to me, who is responsible. (I have good driving record since day 1).

My car was taken to The Collection in Coral Gables three times in two month
My car was taken to The Collection in Coral Gables three times in two months! What a horrible inconvenience! I initially felt it had something to do with the turbo. Three times I had to rent a car and each time they told me that the problem had been fixed. Three times they told me it was not the turbo. They changed spark plugs, replaced injectors, replaced the breather valve, replaced another injector, replaced the ventilation pipe and all three times the initial complaint reoccurred! Finally, the car did not start at all and I was not at home at the time and had to have it towed. I requested that it not be towed to that service center and instead it was towed to another one, Audi of Pembroke Pines, which is about 40 min from my home but at this point I did not care. I felt that if it was not fixed this time, I would have to look into another car. Audi of Pembroke Pines diagnosed the problem. Guess what it was? The turbo! And they repaired the car which was thankfully under warranty! This has severely left me nervous about the reliability of my car. Can you imagine being told that a problem was fixed and driving long distances on interstates and the problem reoccurs leaving you scared of being stranded? Well, this happened three times. Each time I reiterated about it being the turbo and each time they said it was not. Reliability is a womans best friend. Without that, the trust is gone, my friend. I have my car back. Thank you, Audi Pembroke Pines! But I am still nervous about driving long distance on my own right now. I may have an Audi, which once I thought was the best thing ever, but I look at my mom with her Toyota or my brother with his Lexus which never breaks down and then look at my fancy car and wonder if it was worth it all. In 2011, which I dub The year of the Car, I have had, aside from regular maintenance, replacement of radiator fan motor. In July, service found them defective, worth $ 310; fan assembly worth $315. I replaced ignition coil for $64 in July, and twice in November problems stated earlier reoccurred. In December, one problems stated earlier and in March 2012, turbo has to be fixed. Now, after the turbo has been fixed, I now needed my major tune up and to replace spark plugs that were corroded and contaminated with build up that was just done in November. The cost to replace those spark plugs is $331! At the same time, my brakes needed to be fixed. This job was neglected awhile as the priority was to fix the problem with car even running, right? Forget stopping. Therefore, pads had to be replaced as well by this time as well as rotors worth $886. Great car, huh?

Audi of North America gets an F for customer service. I had the worst experience ever dealing with their representative over a new Q5 I purchased. Two phone calls (ended nowhere), I escalated the issue to a supervisor who not surprising was same useless when it comes to settling disputes between the customer and the dealer. The car came with a license plate cover on the front grill, but my state does not mandate/issue a front license plate and the grill. There are two big holes that cannot be covered by a license plate. Audi refused to replace the bracket with one that does not have the license cover despite their promise at the dealership that they would switch it. I am done with the brand!

I always feel classy and respected when driving my Audi, whether its for travel, commute or simple pleasure. I feel comfortable and safe. Four people can fit easily in the spacious interior. Theres plenty of head and leg space. No one ever feels cramped in my Audi. They also have a lot of options for personalization but once you start adding extras, they really add up. You have to pay for luxury I suppose. But I would have liked some features to have been standard.

Hello car friends, well I am here to share my experience with Audi cars. I warn you this is not going to be a good review. My first experience with a Audi was a A-6 year of 2008. The electronic problems were non stop from windows to internal lights to the motor engine lights going bad in my car seat to my power window motor failing to my radio not shutting off which yes eventually drained my battery and left me stranded. This all happen with my car just being 3 yrs old. I can’t stress enough how unreliable Audi cars can be. There is more, my timing chain, starter also went bad all within 80,000 miles. I decided to sell the car and upgrade to a Q-5. What a huge mistake this decision was as well. My repairs on my Q-5 2013 have been even more of a headache. I noticed there are other reviews on here with other cars burning oil. Well I’m also a victim as well of the car burning oil with just 70,000 miles on the car. Thankfully it was under warranty but what a nightmare of experience. The dealership had my car for 3 weeks. The dealership is in upper saddle river NJ. This happen in the summer of 2017. Fast forward to just 2 weeks ago 03-19-2018 the car just skip timing I’ve been told the car is beyond repair and requires a new engine with just 110,000 miles that’s right a new engine. Thankfully I purchased the extended warranty. I can’t wait to get my car back. It’s going for sale immediately! Audi needs to stop worrying about the look of the car and focus on the soul of the car. I’ll never buy a Audi again!!!

Overall, my husband and I have been very satisfied with the Audi vehicles weve purchased or leased since 2016. Weve owned/leased a 2017 A4, 2017 Q5, 2018 SQ5 and 2018 Q5. Unfortunately, what is very disappointing is Audis lack of customer support or loyalty. A few months ago, my husband unexpectedly passed away leaving me with two leased Audis. Understanding that we did enter into leases with strict lease conditions on these two cars, given my personal situation and that my husband and I had a good history with Audi, I still wanted to see if Audi could help me in any way as I couldnt keep 2 leased vehicles under the present circumstances. I had heard that some car companies are very helpful when a lease holder becomes deceased. Ends up Audi is not one of those car companies and they were of absolutely no help. The dealer told me they couldnt do anything and to talk to Audi Financial as they owned the leases. Audi Financial told me I could turn in one of the cars but Id still have to make the payments and that I should go back and talk to the dealer to see if they would purchase the car back. Long story short, I ended up buying out one of the cars and selling it through a car broker (at a loss but at least I no longer have to make the car payments), and will continue to lease the other car until the lease expires. At that time I will purchase something different as I am very disappointed in Audis lack of customer support or loyalty.

I bought an Audi Q7 from Audi Alto Pennant Hills and also bought extended warranty. The car has been sent back for repairs more than 3 times and still there is the same problem or new problem. The AUDI Mechanics are either poorly trained or totally not professionally qualified. Each time it is so hard to speak to someone from the service department. Every phone call, the receptionist will give an excuse that All the servicemen are on the driveway or not on their desks. I have called them 5-6 times each day just to leave my number and no one calls me back.I have to CALL and CALL! I even have to ask my friends to try calling to reach the Service Department and they too experience the same problem - leaving their phone numbers and no one call back at all. Funny thing is that I am a car owner of a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Fiat, Mercedes-Benz and unfortunately this AUDI Q7 which is definitely the WORST purchase I ever made in my life. I have never encounter any problems with my other cars at all. I will never buy another AUDI in my life again as the AUDI brand and reputation has been seriously tarnished. I own a 2014 Audi Q7 TDI and was forced to bring my car in for the diesel gate emissions fix. My car is ruined and unsafe to drive! I was promised a slight reduction in power and possible loss of 1-2mpg. I am down 4-5 mpg and over 10 mpg while towing a trailer. Car no longer has any mid-range power so I can no longer tow my trailer safely. Audi/VW deliberately understated the changes resulting from the emissions modifications from the diesel gate scandal. Anyone who owns a diesel VW/Audi resist from enrolling in the fix. It will ruin your car! The fix is a bigger lie than the original diesel scandal! The car is constantly in for service. 25 trips to dealer in 4 years. Towed 6 times. AC at 3k broke, door handle for $600, Audi lied about oiling issue, and after national class action, they did a poor job of repairing motor. Timing chain sent 3 codes while under warranty and they cleared and sent us home. At 28k/98k miles, the timing chain failed and the engine repairs were $14k... Audi did not handle our requests very well. After a lot of patience, they only offered to sell us another Audi. Only to say our $50k car was worth $5500 with 98k miles. Hi all. I own an Audi A5 2013, 1.8 TFSI Coupe, I bought this car as a second hand (used) from Trade Centre UK in Wednesbury. I thought what a great car... Test drive it. Liked it. Bought it. Few months later it went on limbo mode just like that. All of the sudden. No warnings. Nothing. Took it to an RAC approved garage (when I bought the car I was recommended to buy the premium RAC warranty which you have to pay 41.50 UK pounds per month for 3 years) and they told me that they had to replace a part that has to do with the a/c of the car (air conditioning) which cost them £1000. Then few months later one of my injectors went bad so I had to take it to an RAC approved garage again for them to fix it, when that was done and I got my car back all of the sudden the EPC light came on with the traction control on the dashboard. I thought FFS. This is some sort of a joke... Took it to a garage again, my mechanic had to replace a part that he thought would fix the car which it didnt so when he reported the problem to me he also said that he thinks it could be the control module unit of the car which is the brain of the car. Apparently, it was flooded with water, somehow the when it rains the water makes it way to the ECU but when he hired an electrician the electrician said that there was nothing wrong with the ECU so I thought great. At least I dont have to pay money from my own pocket to get it replaced because apparently the ECU is not covered under the premium RAC warranty. The electrician told my mechanic that the part he ordered and got it replaced it was faulty so my mechanic contacted the VW (Volkswagen) people (because thats where he ordered it from) and asked for another one. So he installed it and still the problem wasnt fixed so he called me and explained to me what happened and now he had to call out an Audi expert. That was few days ago. When I called my mechanic today to ask him for an update on my car, he said that the Audi expert said that there is a fault in the ECU and that he is trying to find a cost effective way to fix it instead of replacing the whole thing, I feel like my mechanic had my car more than what I did. I been in and out from garages for a good 2 months and still going. I would not recommend this car to anyone and its a huge disappointment also worth me ruining that the fuel consumption is really bad I have to top up my car fuel £65 every 2 weeks and I mostly travel back and forth from work to home for 5 days sometimes 4 days a week, 10 minutes to drive to work and 10 minutes to drive back home. I wonder what will be next.

The 2018 Audi Q7 is quite possibly the best car on the road today. It is very solidly built, extremely quiet and comfortable, and handles like a sports car in highway traffic: no sway during quick lane-changes, is not prone to over-control. The 3.0 Quattro provides tremendous power despite the cars size and weight. Plus, the 18-inch wheels provide the driver a great view of traffic ahead, a big advantage when anticipating slow-downs and congestion. A pure pleasure to drive.

I even have to upgrade my AAA membership because I have had so many service calls.

Some upgrades available on the website but were somewhat limited because of the many included features as standard equipment. A truly upscale car for the price. Seating for five passengers is the standard for this sedan. Although back seat seats five adults are more comfortable with two adults and perhaps one child.

I just finished a conversation with the Audi chat line regarding my 2011 Audi that is only hard wired for an iPhone 4 with regard to the music system. She informed me that Audi has not updated the technology to accommodate an iPhone 5. I couldnt find anything on the internet that even mentions Audi working on this. Couldnt they pull an engineer to remedy this problem or offer some way to overcome this? I will probably be making a new purchase soon, and now my car is worth less than any other Audi year because of this lack of current technology.

In 2009, I purchased a used 2008 Audi A4 S-line at Valenti Audi. I just paid off the car in March 2014. Last October, we were advised to replace the timing chain. When the timing chain goes, they said, the car will stop running. We were at 100,000 miles, so we put the $2500 timing chain in. Over the years, all service and repairs and maintenance were done at Valenti. We were very careful. The car seemed to use a lot of oil, and it ate tires, but we were told this was normal for AWD.I was very much looking forward to 5 more years of driving. A few days ago, the check engine light came on. Then there was a rattle. Then it sputtered. I took it to Valenti. They told me the camshaft was cracked and what I heard were pieces of it rattling around. The turbo had also gone. Oh - and my front drivers side tire was falling apart. That would cost, at a minimum, $4960, but it might be $9000 to put in a brand new engine. Then they revealed that on some Audi A4s there had been an extended warranty provided because of this camshaft problem - but not for my VIN number. And, they said, I have more miles on it now than the extended warranty would have covered anyway.Well, if I had known the car was going to blow up, knowing there was this warranty might have spurred me to find another car. My $7,000-8,000 trade-in has now become worth $0. Audi said they would take it as a trade-in if I bought a new Audi. $1500. And then they showed us a bunch of cars and offered us the sticker price on all of them, no discounts. They had us over the proverbial barrel. They clearly knew the manufacture of the camshaft was defective. We were not notified and were given no time to rectify this. We had the car consistently repaired at this place; they did not warn us of impending trouble. And then when it fell apart, we were told we could have $1500 for our car. Well, they said, “After all, it doesnt run. Its really not worth anything”.

I own a 2013 Audi A6. It came with a 4 year 57,000 mile warranty. My car was perfectly maintained. The engine blew up (ring failed, destroying the block). The car had only 39,000 miles. You would think no problem... Wrong. The warranty had expired by 9 months. So Audi wanted to charge me $10,000 for a new motor. I went through the roof. They then offered to pay half if I bought a $3700 extended warranty (a wash), I said, See you in court. I called corporate and they said if I didnt take the offer they would rescind it. A not so subtle threat. They came back and said, half price and no warranty. Reluctantly I agreed. The way I was treated by the dealership and the company, it’s obvious that Audi does not stand by its product. I highly recommend that any consumer stay away from Audi product. Bad company.

Audi A4 2003 original owner - After replacing our timing belt and water pump, a problem with heating begins. Then three years ago, the dealership asked us to replace the heater core to resolve the problem with blowing only cold air instead of hot through the heating system during the winter. The cooling system works fine. I was against that because there wasnt any reason the heater core to stop working at once. I changed the dealership, but they obviously had the same policy everywhere not to diagnose, only replace part in order to make money. I gave up and replaced the heater core. As I expected, it didnt resolve the problem at all. After three years of flushing the system at the same dealership, they diagnosed again that the heater core shall be replaced at my expense. It is very disappointing that a relatively good car has so bad service and looks like a not professional service at all.

In March of 2017, I walked into the Audi Mission Viejo, California dealership to have a minor repair on my leased 2014, A8. They said it would take 15-20 minutes so I took the time to look at the new A8 cars that were available. Jon, the salesman came up to me and asked if he could help – I said I was just looking because my lease doesn’t come due for another 2 months. He said, “How would you like to save a couple hundred dollars per month and get a new one today”. My first question was what happens to the old lease where there are 2 more payments due. He said that those payments would be wrapped into the new lease and even then, I would save a couple hundred dollars per month.I explained that this would be the only way I would be interested in getting a new car that day because I was actually thinking of other less expensive cars and wasn’t particularly happy with the service I had received from Audi during the current lease. Enticed by the offer, I ended up picking out a new 2017 A8, and before I left, I realized that I wasn’t even coming close to a couple hundred-dollar savings, in fact the payment was about $60 less. I just accepted this considering that they took back the other car with still two months of payments. He also told me that even if there was some minor wear and tear Audi waives that when you are leasing a new car and “staying part of the family”.Fast forward 2 years and my wife and I are moving to a new home. We are getting a mortgage and something shows up on my credit which is 820 on the FICO scale. I’m told by the bank that I need to do a conference call with Audi and an outside credit company that deals with these situations. During the call, I am told by Edgar at Audi that I still owe $3,236.74 from the 2015 lease. He explained that the amount due was because Audi took a loss when they sold the car, excess wear and tear, and lease payments that were still due. I pointed out to him that I have never seen one single bill via mail or any other form in two years. Also, while I was speaking to him, I checked my online account with Audi which showed all past and current leases and nothing showed there either. He agreed that this is a problem and I should contact my dealer and Audi of America. He also said that this does not show on my credit as something that is outstanding but then, when I pointed out that is why we are having this call, he said that should never had/have an effect on my credit. What am I supposed to do, call Audi every time I need a loan and have my credit checked? I will NEVER have anything to do with Audi or any company affiliated with Audi, they are as crooked as they come.Oh, and by the way, on another subject that you as a consumer should be aware of, several months ago I asked for a copy of the lease for my wife’s 2015 Q7, they ended up sending someone else’s credit application which had a lot of personal information like social security number, DOB, where they work, how much they make, etc. When I called back to let them know, they made the same mistake and sent me yet again someone else’s information. Third try, I finally got a copy of my lease. Bad business is the best I can say for Audi!

Do not ever ever ever purchase or lease an Audi! Heres my nightmare: back i
Do not ever ever ever purchase or lease an Audi! Heres my nightmare: back in 2010 my then husband leased an Audi in my name (the joys of marriage). About one year into the lease, we separated, both of us moving to opposite ends of California. The vehicle sat at our primary NY residence for almost two years as I would have been penalized for an early turn in. The car was only used for the limited times that I would return to the east coast, probably 5000 miles in total during that time. At just over 30,000 miles the clutch died without warning. This happened on a busy two-lane highway in a dangerous spot. Audi financial blamed it on driver mishandling. I have been driving manual transmission for 30 years and this has never happened. I am clearly capable of driving a stick shift. Happily my insurance covered it but for the deductible as Audi wanted to charge $6000 to repair. Finally, several months later the anticipated turn-in date arrives. I do everything I am supposed to: have the car inspected by Audi (which of course jacked up the damages); and turn it into an Audi authorized dealer (Audi Mohegan Lake, NY). The next day I turn in the plates and take this nightmare off of my insurance policy. I thought this was the end of my Audi dealing. Wishful thinking.Five months later I get a call from Audi Credit stating that I never paid the final bill. I advised that I never received the bill. This is because, as they explained, they never sent the bill! I told them to send the bill, which was received a month later. They are now asking for $497.35 in late return fees! Conveniently the odometer statement, prepared by Mohegan Lake Audi does not have the turn in date on it. Audi decided to wait a month to pick up the car after I turned it in. I have been back and forth with Audi Financial and Mohegan Lake and have yet to be able to get proof of the date on which I turned the car into Audi. My insurance (in deadbeat exs name) shows that I turned in the plates to the DMV and took the car off the policy on 7/2 (days after I turned the car in). I cannot find my DMV receipt, cannot get an answer when I call NY DMV, and cannot get the paperwork from Geico showing that the car was removed from the policy because the policy is now in my exs name. I am beyond frustrated! F AUDI!!!!!

I have been a proud owner of an Audi Q5, 2014 model from the fall of 2013 until 4 months ago when the “add oil” light turned on for the first time. Since then the light turns on every 2,000 – 2,500 km, more or less. My husband brought the car into the Audi Dealership in London, Ontario, Canada (the same dealership we bought the car from). After multiple investigations, we have been told this is something normal for this type of engine (Turbo 2.0L). Both my husband and I are Mechanical Engineers, car owners and avid car users and we’ve never seen or heard about this kind of “normality” with any other car we’ve owned (or not owned).Because the experts from the Audi dealership reassured us that “that’s the norm”, we decided to dig a little bit deeper and figure it out for ourselves. What we found out did frighten us indeed! The issue has been existent in 2009 to 2012 models, after many, many complaints a lawsuit has been issued and won by the Audi car owners. The problem they were having was identical with the one we are having. This proves that this isn’t the norm, it is a huge issue not resolved by Audi and the problem still exists. However, our request to be treated in the same way has been denied by the London Audi Dealership. This being said I am not very concerned about the increased cost of the oil (I could start adding the oil every time I fill up the tank with gas lol), however we don’t even need to be mechanically inclined to figure out that in not too long of a time the engine will completely fail. That’s going to be a very costly repair for an issue that wasn’t provoked by us, but it has been grandfathered through a bad design that perpetuates from one model year to another and very well hidden by the dealerships from the eyes and knowledge of the pranked customers (on their own big bucks, of course, not mentioning about the huge safety hazard they are being exposed to by being lied about the real performance of the car).I asked the Audi dealership, as well as their customer service representatives to put themselves in my shoes. I thought I was commuting to my place of work using a safe and reliable car, an Audi Q5, one of the best and safest SUV in the world as per all the advertising I’ve seen everywhere, just to find out that anytime its engine could die due to the continuous increase of oil leakage. I have been driving with the Damocles sword above my head since the “add oil” light turned off for the first time. I paid a full year salary on this car just to make sure I am SAFE. Beside scrapping it and buying another car (not an Audi, of course), what something else should I do?

Audi a5 from 2008 - 2 days before holiday on 26.04.14 the window cable mechanism breakdown, cost 225 for the part only+ labor cost 3h. On the 4th of May 2014 on our way to Venice, it was raining, a skylight take place, our central console dead (navigation, radio, media, no oil check, completely dead). Went to audi dealer in Venice, paid 80 euros to check the BUS Interface. The part need to be replace, 330 euro for the part + 120 euro labor cost, as is a UK car they need to order the part from UK. After 3 days in Venice we decide to buy a GPS for 150 euros and continue our holiday (Italian audi dealer check and top up our oil Castrol edge 5-30W ONLY SINCE the car was new 1500 km). Later on the 10th of May 2014 we arrive in a nice city call Brasov in Romania and the engine stop with no engine sign on. We call a service. They come to investigate our case and surprise they check the (ENGINE 135000 miles) timing chain and the top (plastic) tensioner. It was broken into pieces damage @ few 3000 TBC. We left the car in Romania and return to Jersey Channel islands UK by plane. The conclusion is the audi company diminish our entire holiday + 4500 into parts and labor cost. We plan to pay a visit to our insurer as we have full comprehensive insurance on the car + travel insurance, hoping they will do something for us as the car is not in the warranty anymore..... So the conclusion is what can get any WORSE than buy and drive an AUDI on a peaceful holiday .... WHERE IS THE GERMAN QUALITY????? It never been probably.

I traded my Mercedes for a gorgeous brand new 2012 Audi A8 L. My nightmares with Mercedes pushed me away from ever buying another Mercedes product. But the nightmares have returned. 3,700 miles EGV failure. Audi came and towed it to the dealer. Parts had to be ordered from Germany. 5 days, 10 days, 14 days of waiting. Wrong parts arrived. After pushing them to pull one out from another A8 in inventory they finally agreed. In the meantime, I was offered to drive a new Infiniti M series from another dealer because all of the 15 Audi loaners were out. I didnt miss my A8 much because the Infiniti was amazing (note to self...).4,500 miles and the navigation screen wouldnt rise from dash because of a motor failure. 3 days of downtime. 7,000 miles - My dash lit up like Christmas lights due to a mysterious computer glitch. Towed again. 2 days of downtime. Mechanics couldnt find cause. 10,500 miles - Trunk doesnt open due to a motor issue. 1 day of downtime. 14,000 miles - Right side Hella made headlamp housing needed replacement due to moisture build-up. This happened on my Mercedes too at 22,000 miles. I have never experienced any problems with Koito or Ichikoh headlamps. 1 day of downtime. 16,000 miles and its Christmas lights again. All lit up and no engine. Towed again. A sensor was replaced after 2 days. 18,200 miles - HVAC failure. Aluminum die cast compressor clutch cracked and needed replacement. Since then a slightly noticeable noise when operating. It used to be dead quiet. Dealer disagrees... 19,000 miles - Super annoying rattling and humming coming from passenger side door. Loose component found in window regulator. Simple fix.I guess this is a common situation with Audi quality and reliability. For a price inching near $105K, I expected a high quality product. I was wrong. My decision to ignore all the consumer review agencies was indeed a stupid thing to do. All of the repairs were done under warranty. The time without my A8 due to quality issues is ridiculous. The headaches of going back and forth to the dealer is unacceptable. Its the very last Audi I will ever own. Colleagues and friends never have issues with their Lexus/Toyota, Infiniti/Nissan, and other Japanese makes. My 2007 4Runner with 77,000 miles had absolutely ZERO problems. My 2010 997 had a few issues but nothing near my Audi. My brothers Acura TL has had zero issues. Ive decided to get rid of my A8 this month. Im going for the Lexus LS F Sport. It may be a bit boring compared to the Audi, but Im tired of wondering whats going to breakdown today! I am convinced the Germans should rely on Japanese suppliers for electronics! The Germans have the greatest ideas but theyre poorly executed...

I got everything I was looking for. If I didnt like the appearance I wouldnt have bought the car. I purchased this A4 Audi in 2012. At the time, it still had the manufacturer warranty and still does. I had several issues with the car due to Audi design of the steering and ball joints. Currently, I was having trouble with fuel door on the car opening. So I brought it in to ask them to fix it. I was told by Robin that the problem is with the comfort module due to water damage! THEY said they assumed it was water damage and it is not covered by manufacturer warranty! She tried to show me water damage; I did not see any. She said that she might have given me too much information but they cannot complete the FIX because they will not connect the comfort module because the problem IS NOT FIXED unless I pay $812. So I had to leave with the problem at hand!!!

I took in the car as the windows smash and grab gets scratched out every time I open the windows (all of them). Then they lied to me and said its the type of rubber Audi uses which scratches all their windows so they cant help me or change it. 2015/04/14 - My car is new and its not even a month old and it is flashing oil change. Response was a sorry and they took it in to be fixed. 2015/11/26 - My car went in for a service and they smashed it and had to wait until January driving a smashed car. Brand new car now turned into a smashed one and I must just accept a sorry???Response was: It is regrettable that your car got damaged whilst in for service. We do sincerely apologize for the mishap despite us taking extreme caution with our customers cars. Please understand that we do not plan these things but they do happen at all dealerships. We are transparent and accept responsibility for the incident. I have arranged for your car to come in around the 2nd week of January 2016 once everything returns to normal. And then they ask me not to rate them with Audi SA - May I please ask that you do not participate in the survey with IPSOS should they decide to call you. May I ask that you rather participate in the survey once we have repaired the damage on your car? This rating is very important to us and I think the whole experience has been tainted by this unfortunate event. Now I went over a month ago as here is a list of problems. Loud sound when I hit the brakes and go over humps, the car cuts power when I drive it, the car doesnt lock, the dashboard and speedometer switches off while Im driving, when you put the car on reverse it does the opposite and when you put it on drive it reverses before it moves forward (at my sons school when I put it on drive it reversed into another car). The soft top needs to be tightened as well, no rain sensor as well, its as if electrically it is messed up.Over a month ago they asked me to bring it in and one of their technicians drove around Sandton to listen and also said he knows what the problem is so I need to book it in and it will take days to fix it. I asked if I will get a loan car and they said ok. When we went back to their office where they said the booking agents were in a meeting and I must just leave my number, they did phone me and booked it in for the 8th of June. When the car started not locking I phoned them again as I was very worried then Ismail asked me to bring it in this Monday, I asked for my loan car and was told I will never get one as the previous guys did not even book a loan car for me and if I want to wait then they can only fix and give me a loan car in July.Clearly Audi doesnt care about the owners safety. I decided I have to take it as I fear for my life, I dropped it off at Audi on Monday morning and even today I havent got feedback as to what is wrong with the car??? I really thought the technician that drove with me said he knew where the problem is. I really want Audi to give me my money and take their car back. I seriously dont think its fair that its their technical fault and I must suffer!!! Now I phoned at 7h25 today to speak to Ismael or the dealer principal (was told Ismael is around but they cant get hold of him and the dealer principal will be in around 1 pm). I still dont know what is wrong with my car or HOW IM GETTING HOME TODAY as I had to take Uber to come to work and drop off my son.

We purchased an Audi Q7 with 92,000 km on it from Sydney. We looked at it on the 21st March 2012 and bought it for the price advertised on the 22nd March 2012 with no questions asked. We were offered 3 year new car warranty for $3,500, which we paid up with also no questions asked. On the 21st, we were asked to pick up the car at 10 am on the 22nd. We came at 10am and the car was not ready. We waited for 2 hours. There was a problem with the Audi but they didn’t tell us exactly what, they just said it’s not a big deal. The day before, we explained to them that the car must be ready at 10am as we were driving to Melbourne. We were then approached by a group manager who said that we can’t have the 3 year warranty, it was a mistake and that we can have a 2 year warranty for $2,600. We did not want to accept this. Finally, they agreed to give us as promised 3 year new car warranty for $3,500 but the lady that does that was away so they promised the next day I would get the paperwork for the warranty from Anna Marie. Of course, I never did. I called 3 times and finally got the paperwork but it was for the 2 years, which is not what was promised. Therefore, there was a lot of emailing back and forth. After 2 weeks of having the car, the seat broke and the buckle broke cup holders jammed. We did a diagnostic scan of the Audi computer which showed engine faults and other faults. Vince ** from Audi Alto NSW confirmed there is nothing wrong with the car. Since the car was under the 3 month warranty Audi Brighton (Melbourne) had to get approval from Audi NSW, which has taken 3 days and I still don’t have my car. A week ago when I went into Audi Brighton, someone looked at the car and noted all the problems and made me an appointment for a week’s time. At this point, that dealer knew that the car was from NSW and that it was under the 3 month warranty but they didn’t bother to contact anyone in the meantime. So on when I took my car in, they said it will take approx 5 hours and will call me when done but they realized that they need Audi NSW approval. 3 days has gone past and my car is sitting in Audi Brighton and they still haven’t touched it. Both the dealers are lying and making up excuses. I am fed up with this. I just want my car fixed as it hasn’t even been a full month. I don’t think that it was appropriate that Audi NSW sold me a faulty car or at least didn’t tell me about it. I have not yet experienced something as horrible as this. What can I do? What are my rights? This is just shocking.

I am driving an Audi in Hong Kong. I had some paperwork problems with my car and had to contact Audi to get the needed document. The staff is genuinely uninterested and referred me to a automobile association alleging that only the association can get the document for me. So I called the association who explained patiently that the certificate should be issued by Audi the manufacturer, which makes sense. So I called the dealer in Hong Kong again and that staff gave me the same answer, utterly uninterested, and offered no solution to me at all. I dont expect that the dealer can solve my problem quickly and once and for all but at least they can appear to be more helpful. For Audi which aspires to be a top brand in the world, they should be more careful in engaging local dealers. Some are totally unprofessional and may just ruin their reputation. In my case, I will NEVER buy another Audi (because I am terribly pissed off).

The Audi e-tron is an UNBELIEVABLE vehicle!! I would pay 300K for this vehicle. I was told I wouldnt be covered on a manufacturing defect because I didnt have a long enough loyalty history (That just means I havent given them enough money yet). When I asked how much money Ive spent with them so far, they had no idea and had to call me back after talking to my dealer. How can you rate my loyalty and not know how much Ive spent as your customer? The part I wanted them to fix was in the turbo, it costs $40.00 but the job runs $2,500 so I was looking for a discount on the incredible service charge. They didnt think it was worth it. Ill never buy another Audi again.

I bought a A4 Quattro, manual transmission, new in January of 2012 from Hiley Audi in Huntsville, Alabama. The vehicle has had the water pump and one injector replaced under warranty and the PCV valve, various modules and gaskets O rings and other items replaced at my expense as well as the shocks that were leaking more oil than the EXXON Valdez. All of this occurred after the car was barely out of warranty. The service department has actually been quite good at diagnosing the problems associated with the vehicle however the expense of having those issues rectified is prohibitive. Now with a little over 100k miles on the car, its burning a quart of oil every 600 miles. No one at Audi notified me about the class action suit on these engines for excessive oil consumption however they did notify me of the extended warranty on the cam chain tensioner which after requesting the replacement they refused to repair even while the car was still under warranty! In short, Im stuck with $6K repair bill for replacing this dog of an engine. The people that work at Audi can only be as good as the management team and in short, the management team at Hiley as well as Audi of America are terrible. On a side note, I have an ACURA RSX that I bought new in 2003 with 200k miles on the odometer that doesnt use a drop of oil and a 1997 BMW 318is with a 168K on the clock that doesnt use any oil either. Basically Audi sells cars that are throwaways after 100,000 miles. In short, if you expect Hiley or Audi of America to stand behind their products, you will be sorely disappointed.

I financed a 2006 A4 Used from Douglas Motors in Summit. In less than two weeks, the headlights keep flickering off. They change one and didnt change the other. While it was still under warranty, I decide to buy the second headlight and have it changed by my personal mechanic ( I also took pictures). I went back to the dealership because the engine light came on. To my surprise, they took a diagnostic from a Volvo and try to pass if off as my Audi, telling me to pay $700 and something dollars for a repair that doesnt belong to my car. I went to my personal mechanic plus Audi to verify. Audi told me they only deal with P codes, whatever that meant. So I ask for a copy of my original diagnostic, they said its wrong and not company policy to disclose the paper work. Right now, my oil pump failed at 64000 miles, and I bought the car 53000 miles. The dealership never change batteries, Ive changed it since I got it. I changed tires. Please, I need help on what to do with this lemon car that Im financing.

I own a 2020 Audi Q3. I bought it last July and I’ve been at the service department more than five times and tomorrow will be my 6th. I have brake issues, rotors keep getting scratched, shaking Error messages on the on the main display. They have repaired it and said that it’s all good. However less than one week later the same issue repeated. The same all over again. However this time I have transmission slip failure, driving system failure.

I own 2013 Audi A8 that has only 100000 km. It is 4.0 dual Turbo. The car is an amazing car and 2 months ago just stalled. An Audi mechanic close to my work looked at it and told me it is the turbos. I bought Audi original Turbos and replaced them and I got a call from the mechanic that they are gone again and the engine is full of broken metals. I called Audi Canada and they said it is A8 with only 100000 km so we need to know what is going on, I took it to PFAFF Audi in Vaughan and they said you need new engine. I have been waiting for many days to know if Audi Canada is going to help with the cost and the repair and I hope they will because such an expensive car with only 100000 km should not have an engine damage because of turbos. This is a shame and frustrating issue and I think whoever wants to buy Audi should think of. I do not have extended warranty as I bought it from a private dealer who bought it from Audi Canada directly. This is unfair and really painful to go through. I am now waiting for Audi Canada decision and I will post more information once I get an answer.Updated on 07/13/2018: So I had posted my problem with my 2013 Audi A8. Audi Canada answered me finally by saying, We will not help in fixing this car because you took it to an independent Audi mechanic and he is not certified by us. So, when you are stuck and your car stalled and there is a guy that deals with Audi all his life close to you, what do you do?? The 2013 Audi A8 4.0L turbo is absolutely a car that you should not consider buying as the turbos break and damage the engine. It is not worth the money to fix, $15000 just for new turbos and add the engine another $10000. 5 years old car!!!Audi is not standing behind their product and talking about customer service and the answers I got from one of the representative, he was yelling and insulting because I am not letting them doing their job. They were giving me false information and I did not like it. Their offer is to give me a voucher to use for the future if I want to buy an Audi. Huh, would you do it again???

Purchased my car in 2012 with 45,000 miles on it. Immediately it started burning through a quart of oil every 5 weeks or so. I complained to the dealership. They said it was normal. I complained again. They said it was normal. I complained again. They said it was normal. I had to burrow myself so far up their ** for them to take a look at the car. They performed an oil consumption test which it failed. They said I had to replace the engine. Thankfully, I was 475 miles under the warranty expiration. From that point forward the car never worked properly. An ignition coil change, 3 issues regarding misfiring, repair work for several diagnostic codes. All in, on top of my $450 month payment & $6k deposit, I spent about an additional $10k repairing the car.Additionally Audi USA covered another $10k worth of work. Thats $20,000 worth of repair work over 4 years. A $1,000 bill every 10 weeks. At 130,000 miles I pulled into a parking lot, car was running fine (after a $1,300 repair bill the week before). I got out of the car and realized I forgot to grab something at another store. I immediately got back into the car and pushed the key in the ignition. It didnt start. Needed to have the car towed. The dealer tells me they have to rebuild the entire engine again.Audi USA called and left a message yesterday (Ive been without a car for 3 weeks now and had a loaner for all of 4 days) that the case has gone to the highest level and there is nothing they will do about it. They said if I have any questions I can call the case handlers direct number. Seems that direct number goes directly to a voicemail void that never gets checked because my phone calls have yet to be returned. Looking at the number of issues and similar complaints all over the web I am baffled that Audi refuses to take responsibility for their poor design and the numerous faults that continue to occur on this engine model.

I love Audi the car, but Audi financial services is an absolute nightmare.
I love Audi the car, but Audi financial services is an absolute nightmare. I lease an Audi A4 in 2011. I leased a car from Audi in 2011 and promptly returned the car in outstanding condition a few days before the end of the lease. About a week before returning the car, some vandalism was done on a fender. I put a claim in with my insurance company and the car was completely detailed not on for the fender but bumper etc. It looked almost in showroom condition. BTW I live in Manhattan. The lease also allowed me to have 30,000 miles on the car. When I returned the car, it only had a little over 14,000 miles on it. If I still needed a car, I would have bought it. I even asked friends if they may be interested in buying it from me if I bought it. It was that much of a deal. Audi employs a vendor named SGS to do car inspections. The inspector spent over an hour inspecting every inch of the car. At times he actually pulled out a magnifying glass! I have leased many cars and have never had an inspector like this. I was outraged when he listed tiny scratches, a tiny ding on the side door and a hairline crack in the rear tail light. He gave me an estimate of what I need to pay for Excess wear and tear. I kept asking him do define excess wear and tear. He showed me a tiny scratch on the hood that exceeded 2/3 of an inch or something like that. I kept saying that the tiny scratch is far from excess wear and tear. Finally I just grabbed his write and decided to call Audi myself. About two months later, Audi called me asking for proof that I turned in my car. I asked her why they dont just get the information from Audi Manhattan where I returned the car. She said that Audi Manhattan is difficult to communicate with and it was easier to just get the information from me. I run a small business and do not have time to do someone elses job. I explained that Audi Financials internal problems are not my problem, but if I find the document I will send it to them. About a month later, sure enough, I found the document, made a copy and sent it to Audi Financial. I then get a bill 5 months later from Audi Financial for over $1,000. There were excess wear and tear charges AND they claimed I turned in the car 20 days late. (I turned the car in early.) So the fighting with Audi financial will continue. There are a lot of hot cars out there. You dont need Audi. I have leased from Lexus and Toyota. I had no wear and tear charges with them and never had the car put through the body shop a week before returning it! DONT LEASE FROM AUDI!!

The appearance is great and unique in its own way... I love the details in and out of the car. It runs great, comfortable and lots of room. The options for personalizing the Audi A6 is off the charts and very amazing. I love the great quality and everything else you can choose. The passenger capacity is 5 but Im pretty sure you can squeeze an extra body or two if you really wanted to... But I dont recommend it.

I wish I could rate my service at ZERO stars. In brief, returned to my car at end of work day and battery was dead. Called AAA and quickly started it with a jump. Drive for 30 minutes and picked up my dog. Got back in car and battery dead again. Friendly stranger provided a jump. Started up quickly. Drove home and parked. Lights and radio automatically turned off as usual. Locked. Scheduled Audi roadside assistance for a.m. and appt at dealership. Car was again quickly jumped and started. Drive 30 minutes and dropped off at RVA Audi dealership. Got new battery but was told not covered by warranty because power left on. Pray tell how that is possible when radio AND lights are automatic???? And, even if this lie were true, the battery, if properly functioning, would be jump started, and would then be good to go. This is yet another attempt by Audi to evade responsibility for warranty coverage. 2nd time in the short 8 months I have had this car! So disappointed in how unethical this company has become. #lastaudiforthisgal

I received the vehicle and had it scan 2 days after by my local mechanic. He found the car to have low voltage to the TB and other areas, as well as the vehicle running lean. The vehicle was accompany by a 30 day 1000 mile warranty for engine, trans and some other areas. Within 2 weeks I got a check engine light and the EPC light came on and the car will not drive above 40 MPH. Took the vehicle to my local dealer and they found wiring then was repair when the vehicle had only 10,000 miles and paid for by Audi Corp. Spoke to the Sales MGR and SVR MGR and was told there is nothing they could do. I opened a case with Audi corp and was told the same thing even though they paid for the original repair. I now have to pay to repair poor workmanship by Audi trained techs for faulty work. I will never buy another Audi and hoping everyone else will boycott their product.

Purchased a brand new 2013 Audi Q7 last April. Waited close to a month for the vehicle. Problems started since day one. The same day, the vehicle was picked up. Within 15 minute driving, the check engine light came on. Brought it back to the dealer and diagnosed to be a bad intake manifold. The vehicle was in the shop for a week. A month down the line, one day the sunshade for the panoramic roof fell off the rail completely. Brought the vehicle back to the dealer and get it fix. In June of this year, the Sunshade fell off the rail again, brought it back to the dealer, waited a week for the repair. Literately a week after the vehicle was picked up, the rail came back again, the car was in the dealer for another week. Now the problem come back again. The car is a little over 1 year old, barely driven with only 6000 miles. Went to the dealer to complaint about the issue and see how they and AUDI will address the issue. The response I got was: this does not affect the drivability or the safety operation of the vehicle. I could always bring it back to the dealer and get it fix. I am extremely disappointed in the brand and its customer service focus philosophy. Especially as a luxury car dealer and manufacture, this is definitely not the way to address the issue. 60K investment and what I get in return is constantly going back to the dealer for the same issue. Even with me addressing the issue, their response is tell me to keep going back. I dont have the time for all this, definitely not a good ownership experience. I am very disappoint in the brand and the experience. Stay away from AUDI!!!

Audi A4 A 4.2 TDI Registration No. ** Dated 04/07/2012. Within 9 to 10 months of delivery started experiencing following problems: 1. From exhaust pipe emission of heavy smoking and some sparks. This problem was attended by Audi workshop at CST Kalina. While submitting car for above repairs also verbally report slight vibration & rubbing noises while driving. However, later part of the report was not record as the test drive inside workshop failed to reveal any problem with steering. Car was handed after dealing with exhausted Pipe smoke emission.2. Eventually after some time while taking out car from our Garage the cars steering system completely ceased and started giving indication that car steering system has failed. The car was collected by Workshop for repairs. However, we were dis-satisfied with to see such high end car having such major problems within 10 months of service. After much deliberation we were given a brand Audi A4 car without any charges. This gesture of Audi is much appreciated.3. New Audi A4 14th June, 2013 Registration No. **. Now we have started facing following problem again.A. Vibration of steering & rubbing sound while driving this was report to the CST Kalina workshop representative but the test drive inside workshop did not reveal any defect with steering. However, on my insistence to verify if the vibration was not coming or not drive the car 30-40 kms as same was not happening continuously. Repair representative agreed to my suggestion and car was left in the workshop. Later it was reported to me that they did find for short while steering vibrating & rubbing noises while driving for longer time.Workshop representative informed me the shaft is defective and same has to be changed. I was informed it will take one week to get spare shaft. Eventually it took three weeks to get the shaft and replace same. During this time no car was given to me to help me out to my day to day work. Whereas while purchasing Audi car we promised while the car is taken for service we will be provided service, we will given a car free of any charges. Now there is no vibration or rubbing noises. But the point remains why such high end car should have such problem with my 2nd car as well. This raises question is there Deficiency in Quality Control or some inherent manufacturing defect. As I have Extend Warranty the renewal of shaft was done under warranty but the point remain why I am experiencing such serious problem once again. Warranty will get over by June, 2017. What happens next if after warranty steering fails once again?By this mail I put on notice Audi India and I would to reserve the right for car to be repaired free of any charges if above mentioned major failure of steering happen sometime in future. I feel quality control is very poor as following problems will indicate: A. Cars locks failing (not operating) and for overhauling I was charged although no parts were changed. Why when the car is still under warranty? Locks failed to operate again within a week after overhauling.B. Car door mirror switch breaking and charged in spite of car under warranty. My last Car was Toyota Corolla which was with me for over seven years and never faced any of above mentioned problem whereas Audi with such good reputation giving so much problem. I doubt their Quality Control slackness and very poor manufacturing control. With this I am putting Audi India on notice for serious steering defect existing in their A4 Model.

Car was purchased in Toronto in mid Oct, 2018, driven to Naples, Florida in early November and parked in a condo garage 100 yards from the Gulf of Mexico with the passenger side exposed to winds from the Gulf. In mid January a braking issue was noticed when braking at highway speeds. Audi service determined that the issue was caused by rust on the passenger side brake rotors and advised that because this was a result of outside influences the repair cost would not be covered by the warranty. Does this seem reasonable when other equivalent cars parked in the same condo location over 8 years had not encountered the same problem?

My Audi experience has been a nightmare. My wife and I bought a 2011 Q5 on April 4, 2011. When the car had 28000 miles on it, the low oil light came on. We were told it was from a defective hood latch, which the dealer replaced. The light came on again in several thousand miles and we were told this time it was a pressure regulating valve, which was replaced. The light came on a third time and we were told an oil consumption test needed to be initiated. I know its hard to believe, but the oil light came on a 4th time. Day Audi of Monroeville advised me that VW/Audi had a known defect with their 2.0 turbo engines and I would need the pistons and rings replaced in the vehicle. First they needed to send the oil consumption results to the Audi Corporation and get the work approved. Audi advised the dealer that my Audi, which only has 40,000 miles on it, was consuming a normal amount of oil, and no further repairs were needed. The dealer advised the oil light would continue top come on, just bring it in and get it topped off when it does. They also offered to buy my vehicle back at a lowball auction price. Audi is a joke of a corporation that could care less about their customers. I would never recommend a Volkswagen or Audi to anyone as a result of being treated in this manner.

I purchased a Certified Pre Owned Audi A8 with 17K miles. Audi claims they have a 300 point checklist and vigorous standards for accepting vehicles in to the program, for which there is usually a premium to pay. When I received my vehicle, it was immediately very evident, while the car was still on the transport truck that it had been in a serious accident. The entire drivers side of the vehicle had been repaired and repainted. There are still creases in the front and rear door. The paint is mismatched. Sand marks are still visible under the paint. The windshield was replaced with the incorrect windshield so the heads up display does not function properly. One tire had extensive damage and was plugged adjacent to side wall. I was advised not to drive the vehicle with that tire by our local Goodyear Tire Center. There is paint overspray on the instrument cluster and dash that simply will not come out. I can continue on - the car is a mess. The dealer isnt responding so I called Audi. My customer care experience with Audi has been atrocious. They have absolutely no concern that one of their dealers sold a car as certified but didnt check the simplest of items. The damaged tire alone should have precluded the car from being certified. The first person from Audi Customer Care that I spoke to ask me so what do you want Audi to do? Well, I guess that about sums it up. They fight tooth and nail to escalate the problem to management, and when they said they would - i had to call them back, Its been nearly three weeks. I advise you to stay away from Audi Certified Pre Owned vehicles. They program isnt worth the paper it is written on. Ive purchased CPO BMWs and Porsches in the past and had fabulous experiences. Audi just doesnt measure up. Im embarrassed that Ive allowed myself to be taken advantage of this way, and Im furious that Audi just doesnt care.

Bought a used (but looked like-new) 2004 Audi A4 1.8T. It had 82k miles on it from the previous owner of 10 years. No accidents, what could go wrong? Seemed like a diamond in the rough. Carfax said it never had major repairs done to it whatsoever. Seriously good deal right? Wrong. The dealers had left the car light on and blamed the last owner for making it a problem and having to change the battery. Dealers said theyd replace the battery before they sold it to me. Okay. Bought it, picked it up, went home. It sat there. Few days later? Dead car. Called the dealers, had them tow the car, sat in their off-the-map shop for 4 days with no communication because the mechanic was too busy and sounded annoyed the one time I tried to get in touch. It finally came home to me, only to find a scratched side mirror that wasnt there before (I have picture proof) and a check engine light. Next few days - dead again. Battery was fine, its something electrical. This is a good a time as any to mention that the car is completely automatic and locks everything. Can hardly get into the drivers side, all other doors are locked, trunk is locked, no real locks inside or key hole for truck, nope. All automatic. Huge hassle. Im getting a refund. Its more money than its worth. NEVER AGAIN.

Pete, my son who does not own this car but was driving the car at the time, had the car towed to Barrier Audi. They confirmed that the engine would not start and told him that the engine would have to be torn down in order to determine the cause and extent of potential damage. April 16, 2013 - My son received the following email from Dave (service writer) at Barrier: I spoke with Gary this morning and he informed me that you had emailed him asking for Audi to assist with this repair. Gary has asked me to get authorization from you to do some tear-down so we can determine exactly what needs to be replaced. Essentially you would be agreeing to cover the labor costs ($900) to tear down the engine. Once we know exactly what needs to be done, we can approach Audi and ask for assistance. They may help with some financial assistance but please understand that they may choose not to participate as well and in that case, if you chose not to proceed any further, you would be responsible for the costs of the tear down. Please let me know if you would like to proceed.April 17, 2013 - My son replied to Daves email: Lets go ahead with the tear-down. Sorry for the delay in response. Between work, kids, and wedding planning, things have been a little crazy. June 2013 - My son told me that he had been trying to work with Barrier and Audi Customer Experience to determine what options may be available to repair the car other than the $7,000 estimate that was provided to him by Barrier Audi for a new engine. There have been ongoing problems with the engine in this car from the time it was new, and all we were told was to put oil in it whenever the light came on. Apparently Audi refused to even have a conversation about options for assistance in this repair until he produced every receipt for every quart of oil he added to the car approximately every 500 to 1,000 miles over the 107,000 miles it was driven. He had requested service records from both Larson Audi and Jobs Audi, but received no response from either. He had no work order from Barrier Audi and no invoice. June 27, 2013 - My husband and I met with Dave, the Assistant Service Manager at Barrier Audi. We told him that Pete was not the registered owner of the car; that I was the registered owner. Dave clearly had no interest in a conversation other than Bring all of your receipts for every quart of oil ever put in the car. What we told him was that we were longstanding Barrier customers and understood that they got pulled into this when the car died. We told him that all we are asking is for Barrier to help sort it out with Audi since they and we all know that there is a well-documented problem with this engine. We also told him that we first leased it from Audi Financial and then purchased it from Audi Financial so Audi has already made a lot of money on this car. He turned red in the face a lot but would absolutely not engage in conversation. We asked him why anyone that we know would ever buy another Audi and he said he didnt know. He did not provide the Service Order or provide me with an invoice to pay for the engine tear down. He did not ask me to take the car home. We left with no further resolution.July 26, 2013 - We were told by the service writer that that there is a tech at Barrier Audi that is interested in buying the car as is. We did not respond. We are continuing to try to get service records from the other two Audi dealers. August 21, 2013 - I realized that I did not receive a monthly statement from VW Credit for the Audi. I made an online payment on August 21, 2013. September 4, 2013 - I received a certified letter from VW Credit stating that they had my vehicle and were going to sell it because I broke promises in our agreement. Since no one had tried to contact me from Barrier Audi, I was stunned. I called VW Credit and spoke with Brandon. I asked him what promise in our agreement was broken and why they had the car and planned to sell it. He did not know. He transferred me to Audi Customer Experience when I requested that I speak with someone at Audi.I was transferred to Audi Customer Experience. Andrew, the representative who took the call, did some research and told me that Careful Asset Recovery had the car. He also told me that he would have a release processed so that I could pick up the car and bring it home. He said that they would waive the Voluntary Surrender fee of $250 and that there would be no storage charges. He said that he would look into the circumstances that caused the car to be picked up and call me back. He also said that he would get the service records from the other dealers.September 9, 2013 - We had the car towed home to my house. All of my sons belongings were missing from the car. September 23, 2013 - After not hearing back from Audi Customer Experience, I received an email from Audi Customer Relations Center asking if I was pleased with the resolution of my case. I responded extremely negatively and told them that the case was not resolved. September 23, 2013 - After not hearing back from Audi Customer Experience, I found that Andrew had left a message on the wrong phone. I contacted Andrew and asked about the status with VW credit. He told me that when he contacted Barrier Audi, they told him unbelievably that they had no knowledge of the car. He had not received any of the requested documentation from the other dealers. He transferred me to VW Credit so that I could determine the status on the account there as he had no organizational responsibilities for them. VW Credit was closed for the day.September 24, 2013 - I called VW Credit to get status on the account. I found that over $1,000 had been added to my credit account. Dana did not know why and did not know why I had been charged $250 as a voluntary surrender fee when I had not surrendered the car, and in fact, had no idea that the car was being towed. Dana said that she would call me back after she researched the charges and that it might take up to 72 hours. I was told that I had abandoned the car at the dealership and that the amount of the engine teardown, which was not authorized by me had been added to my car purchase account. I have never seen the work order nor bill for the teardown. VW Credit seemed startled that I had no information nor requests for payment from the dealer, but they also clearly could not find any such communication in the records.September 25, 2013 - Dana from VW Credit called back and I asked what the charges were for and was told that they were: Collection charges (I told Dana that they could not be collection charges since the account was current. Dana agreed); Storage charges (I told Dana that they could not be storage charges since Audi Customer Experience had them waived. Dana agreed); Service charges from Barrier Audi who had said that they had no knowledge of the car (I told Dana that I had not authorized any work, nor had I seen any invoice. Dana agreed that these should not be service charges but that Barrier Audi had the amount placed on the account.)I was also told that their records stated that Barrier Audi had contacted them (VW Credit) to have the car towed. I was then told that I had abandoned the car at the dealership and that the amount of the engine teardown, which was not authorized by me had been added to my car purchase account. I told her that I had never seen the work order nor bill for the teardown. I had also not been asked to pick up the car. Dana seemed startled that I had no information nor requests for payment from the dealer, but she could not find any such communication in their records either. I asked what reason Barrier Audi gave for their actions and Dana said that they could not locate a reason in the file. I asked if they made a habit of towing cars with no reason and was told that they typically simply do as the dealer requests. I asked if VW Credit was aware that in Washington state, no one can be charged for car repairs without a signed work order. I was told that they do not know about laws in the state of Washington or any other state and that I would have to take it up with Barrier Audi. VW Credit waived the $250 voluntary surrender fee and tried to conference Gary **, the Service manager at Barrier Audi. He was not available. Dana left a message for him to call her back. He did not call her back. I did not receive a statement because VW Credit thought that they still had possession of the car. They were surprised to hear that I had the car at home. They said that they would put a rush on sorting out the account. I filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney Generals office.October 7, 2013 - I received an email from the Attorney Generals Office with a letter attached from Audi of America. They stated that since I had not provided the service records (which had been requested from the two dealers weeks before and not received) that they could not do anything. They also stated that the VW Credit issue was completely separate and not their problem. Mr. ** also stated that he had no response from VW Credit. October 9, 2013 I received an email from Andrew with two attached service orders from Larson Audi and Jobs Audi as requested by him September 4th and by me in June.October 21,2013 - I sent an email at Andrews suggestion to request a time to speak with Mr. **, the Barrier Audi Service manager. October 23, 2013 - My husband and I met with Mr. ** in his office on October 23. He acknowledged that there are three known issues with the engine that is in my A4. He detailed the issues. He stated that there were fixes for two of them and he did not know if they had been applied to my car. He also told us that Audi had told the dealers that the extreme oil usage in the car was normal and that oil should just be added every time the light came on. Audi later told them that it was not normal and that there were things that needed to be done to correct the problem. Given these problems, we were told that the engine warranty had been extended to 120,000 miles. This was the first time that anyone had told us about an extended engine warranty.Mr. ** told us that he was not aware that the car was being towed until the two truck driver showed up and asked for the keys. He said that they had no responsibility to notify the registered owner and in fact, we were told that it was not their responsibility to determine the registered owner of the car. This is notwithstanding the fact that we told his Assistant Manager back in June that I was the registered owner of the car. He maintained that Barrier did not have the car picked up. He also told us that Barrier never charges storage fees, nor do they file mechanics liens because they are onerous in the state of Washington. He also maintained that he had no idea about how any additional charges wound up on my credit account. He said that VW Credit must have initiated the car pick up. This is unlikely since VW Credit had no idea that the car was at Barrier Audi until contacted by Barrier Audi and the account was current.I asked him if he would assist us in getting the funds, presumably for the unauthorized work, separated on the credit account. He said that he would try but that he really had no influence with VW credit. I told him that I had still never received a copy of the work order nor an invoice. He said that he would take care of that right away and print it while we were there. He brought it up on his screen, looked at it for a minute and told us that he could not print it because his PC hung. We asked if he would email it and he agreed. He told us that he would contact the local Audi representative to see what could be done and that we would need to supply the work orders. We told him that we would email them which we subsequently did. I also asked if he would provide the detail of how the car came to be towed. We did not receive the work order or invoice.October 29, 2013 - I received a response email from Mr. **. He listed the additional service information that is required by Audi and told us that from now on we were to deal directly with Audi. The work order was not provided, nor was an invoice. October 30, 2013 I responded to his email and asked him again to provide the work order and invoice. I also asked him to provide the detail regarding how the car came to be towed. I received a response from him. It had the work order attached as well as the email that my son sent back in April to ask them to tear down the engine. The only detail provided regarding the vehicle pickup is:While we would have liked to contact you, we did not have any personal information of yours, Peter was our only contact. Because the car had been sitting on our lot for 4 months we found Audi Financial was the legal owner of the vehicle and contacted them. Due to privacy issues, they do not provide us with your personal information. 1 month later Audi Financial paid for and picked up the vehicle. As far as personal possessions that is something you will need to talk with Audi Financial about as they took possession of the vehicle.I contacted VW Credit following this email. According to them, Barrier contacted VW Credit in July about having the car picked up. This was shortly after the offer to buy the car by a service tech was received and ignored. They knew who the registered owner of the car was and made no attempt whatsoever to contact me about the situation. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and asked for the charges to be reversed from the account, reimbursed for the towing charges to bring my car home and the cost of my sons stolen possessions. They continue to say that it is not their problem.

Quattro is the wagon 4.2 liter inline six cylinder all wheel drive dream car I own. I wanted a sportscar with room for all the kids and cargo. This is a wagon thats an Audi! Two thumbs... only Porsche has anything close to its class (in my eyes). I find my car incredibly beautiful with a sporty look and room for everyone. Lots of horse power to the wheels and luxury everything inside. I did get upgraded rim size and style and performance in the stock rims. They actually got me a set of official 19 inch Audi touring race car rims, so I didnt mind the great but overpriced touring sport tires they sold me when they got in.

The models that Audi sells are good for driving and make everyone happy especially me. Anyone who needs a car should buy it. I love my car and it is the best ever. It is so fun to drive. I think I would never ever want to give it up for anything at all. The appearance of this car is very good. It has just enough roundness that anyone would like but has enough electronics inside the car that anyone who is technological will love it. You can have any kind of upgrades you want. If you want wifi in your car you can have it. If you want fancy tires you can have it. Heated seats yep thats featured too. Its really the Shangri-La of car dealers. The capacity is good. You can put as many people in your car that you can safely fit. The back seats fold down so you can put bigger items in your car. There is plenty of leg room and room for all your items.

I have always believed in the Audi brand - the prestige of a German enginee
I have always believed in the Audi brand - the prestige of a German engineered vehicle was something I aspired to drive. Two years ago, my mother bought a new 2012 Q5. This was when I set my mind to buying my own Audi. A little over a year ago, I bought my first vehicle, a used 2010 A4. I could not have been more thrilled, and always offered to drive friends and family around, just to show off my new ride. From the moment I purchased my A4, all I could think about was buying the next Gen version or even the new A3 that I ogled over at the Detroit Auto Show. Unfortunately my perspective on the quality of an Audi built vehicle has changed entirely. My complaint is with Audi, not the dealership. My car has less than 100,000 miles on it and has a MAJOR engine failure outside of recall/warranty. For a car to need a camshaft and 2 cylinders replaced at 4 years old (amounting to $5,500-$9,000 in repairs) signals a defective engine, not bad luck. The car has never missed a service appointment. The entire situation is completely ridiculous.I will never purchase or do business with Audi again. The level of interest shown in my personal well-being and overall desire to do the right thing is mind-boggling, and I have never in my life seen such apathy from a company towards a customer with a major mechanical failure outside of their control. I had planned for this to be my first Audi. After this debacle it is definitely my last.

Very happy with variety. There were a lot of cars to choose from within Audi brand. But I am more interested in cars than SUVs. I love my car a lot. I love the sleek look. I also have variety with radio/aux/satellite radio. The leather seats are great. I am able to fit 5 people in my car comfortably. There is plenty of space in the back seat. The front seat is easily adjusted and can be moved back or forward for more or less space. I also like the sunroof. Cup holders and automatic windows are nice. You can update car with seats, window, sunroom, radio. I enjoy having luxury things in my car. I wish I could have gotten the backup camera. But Im happy with purchase.
