5G-Equipped Audis Will Be Safer And Smarter Than Ever Before

Wireless smartphone connectivity and over-the-air updates are just two of the many ways that cars have become increasingly connected over the last couple of years. Audi, never one to shy away from forward-thinking technologies, has now taken in-car connectivity a step further through a partnership with wireless network operator Verizon to introduce 5G into its lineup. 5G will enable a host of new features for the driver and passengers to take advantage of but the tech remains a new introduction in the automotive industry. In 2018, the Kia EV Concept became the first vehicle to offer an in-car 5G connection. Since then, models like the tech-laden BMW iX have also provided 5G support. "Audi was the first automaker to bring in-vehicle Wi-Fi to customers as well as 4G LTE connectivity in the 2015 A3, and we will be among the first to bring the next generation of connectivity to our customers in the US," said Filip Brabec, senior VP, Product Planning, Audi of America. 5G is all well and good, but what are some of the features that will tangibly make a difference to future Audi owners? The obvious advantage is that passengers can download or stream videos far quicker than before, and at a higher quality. That's great news for the kids piled into the back of your Audi Q7. Firmware and software updates received over the air will be able to be completed more quickly, while infotainment and navigation systems can be improved with HD/3D mapping and video as well as cloud-based user profiles. A great benefit is cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) technology. Audi has previously tested this technology in Georgia whereby signals and alerts can be transmitted between compatible vehicles, traffic lights, and pedestrians' mobile phones to keep roads safer. As autonomous driving technology develops, C-V2X will become more and more valuable in assessing the vehicle's environment and responding accordingly. "Audi drivers will be among the first in the world to experience a new generation of automobiles, one in which their car is both a 5G mobile device and a vehicle," said CEO of Verizon Business, Tami Erwin. Select US-spec Audi models will begin receiving 5G connectivity as of the 2024 model year. We expect newer electric models like the Q4 e-tron and A6 e-tron to adopt the technology first.

I purchased a new Q7 and two months later, it leaks gasoline on the monoblock. One week later, two days after supposed repair, the same failure reoccurred. One month later, they said its fixed but I obviously have my doubts and they dont accept to exchange for a TDI to avoid the possibility of putting my family at risk again.

I must say that the Audi Q5 is a car that you feel healthy, although the German car is equipped with lots of electronic devices but rarely car seizures”. After 4 years of use, I still see the vehicle smoothness and quality as when they were new. Crisp exterior, handsome much thanks, partly angled grille at large. Generally very satisfied.

Purchased a new vehicle and was convinced by my dealer to finance through Audi in order to get a credit off the purchase price. Asked if there was a payoff penalty and was assured there was none. After the 2 month waiting period required for Audi Financial to establish the account, I contacted them for a payoff quote. This is only good for 10 days. In that period of time, I re-financed through my credit union and had them send a check directly to Audi Financial. Audi claims they never received the first check, so my credit union issued a second check which was received. Unfortunately, Audi Financial did not honor the first pay off amount so due to the interest accrual, I continued to get statements with Balance Due = $0.00.After the 3rd statement of this type, I contacted Audi Financial and they said that they had not put the check from my credit union as a pay off amount. They just put the money towards my payments and my next payment wasnt due until Jan 19, 2023 (the last payment). But my vehicle was still not technically paid off. In the last phone conversation I had with Audi Financial, I was told that they had received the first check but there was a problem with the account number so they didnt apply it to the loan - which would have paid off my loan. Seems like it was very intentional in order to get more interest from the loan/financing. Although there is not a technical charge for paying off the loan at Audi Financial, it seems that they have ways of getting the most interest possible from their customers. I love my Audi vehicle, but I will never use Audi Financial again.

After bringing my 2012 Audi S5 with 30,000 miles to Audi NYC several times, and without them being able to resolve my issues - I contacted Audi corporate offices hoping they can assist in resolving my issues with extremely squeaky brakes. I was referred to a supervisor, named Christine ** who also did not help me at all. After explaining several times to Audi corporate employees and this supervisor, my issues were brushed off and I was presented with their proposed resolution which was to lubricate my brake pads, a procedure that had already been performed on my vehicle previously without resolving the issues. This is the most unprofessional customer service I have dealt with and thanks to their horrible customer care and retention department I will be trading in my vehicle for a BMW, where the customer service actually listens to and cares for their consumers.

There are variety of models and also about engine and speed accuracy and also high technology which we are now using so it is very perfect. Nowadays cars are helpful to people because it is easy to navigate with high performance which I like more than others. Im very satisfied and while thinking upgrade and personalities options which I prefer since its very useful to us. We also have to check all the passenger seat because it is very important.

My name is Dimitri **. I leased a brand new 2010 Audi A5 from Prestige Audi of North Miami beach. With my lease, I was told to bring my car to them every time its time for service. The car said its time for a service so I made an appointment to drop it off. They called me and told me it was ready, so I went to pick it up. I took it home. When I get in to my car, I always approach the driver side. Well one day, I backed the car in and the next morning, I approached from the passenger side and I noticed there was damage to my passenger front wheel.Well, it was dented in multiple places and bowed out at the top of the wheel well plus paint damage. So I said to myself, I didnt do it, maybe I got hit but let me take it to Audi to see what theyll say. So I went there to speak with Fernando **. I told him the situation and he said let me see it and Ill tell you if we did it here. His exact quote was, Ive been working on this lot for 9 years and I know what kind of damage this lot can do and that damage was done here. He told me that where they keep the cars after they service them, is enclosed by a fence and they covered that fence with a white cloth so people cant see in and steal or vandalize the cars. And as one of the porters was parking my car, he didnt notice that a pole was also covered by the white cloth and he pulled it up as far as he could and while doing that, he hit my car damaging the front end. So they damaged the car on their lot. I have that in writing that the car was damaged on their lot while being serviced. So he was very nice in the beginning and said to bring it and they will fix it. I dropped it off on August 8 to be repaired and they said it would take four days. Two weeks later, after no phone call, I called them and it just so happened to be ready. I was like, great, Im coming to get it. I got there and I looked to see if they repaired the car correctly. As I was looking it over, I noticed that the headlight on the damaged side was sticking out more than the other side and there was still a few marks on the bumper. So I told them and they said they would fix it. Another week went by. They call and told me that if I dont bring back the loaned car they gave to me while my car was being fixed, they will charge me. So I brought the car back like they asked. When I got there, I inspected it again and I noticed that the hood of my car was extending over grill of the car. I can stick my fingers under the hood when the hood should be closed. I told them to bring another A5 to compare and u can tell there was a difference. I have pictures and videos of all the damage. If needed. I am paying more than 600 dollars a month for my lease and I take care of the car like its my baby. I leave it with them and they damaged the car. The car will never be the same once its gone to the body shop. It will never be the same and has lost value of my car. If someone checks the car, they can tell there were repairs done. I called them and asked them whats going to happen now. They said that they will do nothing to resolve this matter. Thats why Im writing you to see what I can do as Im only one person dealing with a huge company who doesnt care about the customers. Why should I keep paying the same payment when my car is not new anymore? I would understand if I did the damage, but I didnt. They damaged my car and dont care because theyre not paying for it. The manager called me today and told me to bring the car back and get my car and stop nitpicking. Is it nitpicking or do I just want what I deserve my car (in perfect condition, just like I had it when it rolled of the assembly line)? I dont know who can help me with this situation but I would love for you to help me or point me in the right direction because they dont listen to anything I say. They are trying to take advantage of me because Im young and I am a nice person. But enough is enough (plus I paid for this month and I wasnt even able to drive my car at all, so I paid for nothing).

Cars always have an appearance of a luxury car in both sides, outside and inside. It also provide the best comfort while driving, make it pretty excited to drive my car and drive with friends and it also provide the best technology for a trip. I have taken my car to install some features in the back of my car, including the exhaust pipe, I have also changed the steel wheels to make it look more pretty and luxury. The passenger capacity on my car is also acceptable. It always have been comfortable for my passengers or family when we have a trip. Its the best deal.

Five hours at the dealership to get the paperwork completed, 15 minutes of negotiations, and we were the only customers buying. The car (2016 Audi A4 quatro) is finished nicely, drives well at turnpike speeds, but in town it is AWFUL! Acceleration when needed is absolutely unreliable. Sometimes accelerates as needed, other times the engine does not increase above idle speed when power is really needed. The dealer had the car for a couple of days and could not duplicate my complaint. They then stated if this problem occurred it was my driving technique (my wife has the same problem of non-acceleration randomly). I tired of arguing with the dealer, and just accepted the fact we are stuck with this car for another 19 months when the lease expires. We are reluctant to drive the car, and after 17 months it has accumulated less than 9,000 miles. We had two Mercedes prior to this piece of garbage, had never leased a car before, and never owned an Audi. We will go back to Benz, will never lease again, and never again have dealings with Audi.

Do your research before buying any Audi. It is always a headache when things go wrong, but it is unacceptable when Audi America blames loyal customers for Audis poor engine performance. While driving on a dark 2 lane highway in Vermont our Audi engine seized without warning. My college-age son waited alone for 5 hours before getting towed 40 miles to the nearest Audi service center. The following Monday Audi service shared the news that the engine had metal shavings in it, total engine failure. The car has 61,000 miles on it and had been well maintained. With service records in hand we took the case to Audi for review. Audi conducted a sloppy investigation and ultimately let us know that we were out of Warranty. Also, they pointed to a policy where they claim only Audi can service the car. When asked to produce the policy and to fact check the information in the case history, Audi stopped responding. David Weissland President of Audi America was included on all emails and was fully aware of our dilemma. He stood by the customer service resolution. Quotes for a new engine $12,000.00-$14,000.00. My son could have been killed; Audi has shown they do not care. If you have had this happen to you please file a report with NHTSA so that we can hold these criminals accountable.

Audi has build the Q7 2007 with the wrong gaskets around the moon roof. If you check the blogs they admit it but wont pay for the damage. It drains into the SUV and burns out the electric system. Gone are your MMI etc. It starts shorting your radio, tail light bulbs, and can burn out your battery. You will also lose your total dash. They want you to pay at least 1/2 so they have no cost. This should be a worldwide recall. What will happen when your electric goes out while driving. If you are starting to replace tail light bulbs. Its just the beginning. You can also see water marks on the front floor. Join in the fight for what is fair.

I did 45000 miles service at Audi Denver. I pre-paid next service that comes at 55000. Everything was nice until then because they were getting money. Nobody told me that there is validity for Audi care and now when I went there to get the service done they told me that it is expired, nothing can be done and the money that I paid is gone. I contacted Audi America and no one is helpful. They are least bothered about their customers issue (especially when the money is paid to them). There is no escalation process. Nobody cares. Highly unsatisfied. Dont know how much this forum will be useful but want to make other aware of this bad experience that I had with them.

Car looks great and modern in every model. It doesnt look outdated or ugly and I would recommend. The colors dont make it look tacky or cheap. The shiny sleek exterior is reflective upon my money spent. The cost of buying this car is rather high and the look should appear to be classy as well. I thought it was great that this car had a variety of customizations and personalizations that fit my needs and wants. I believe that they met every standard I had set. The car does fit five people but Ive managed to fit six. I think that it does offer more space than what it seems to be. Everybody is comfortable and happy regardless.

On May 19th my five year old (under 69,000 miles) Audi A4 had a “piston failure” in which the piston came loose and eventually shattered the skirt. As a result, the engine needed to replaced. I was told by both the dealership and Audi USA that Audi never extends coverage and will not provide any warranty assistance (even in the case of potential negligence). The dealership initially refused to provide a loaner, however, after extending the expected completion of the repair four times, the dealership provided a loaner. They replaced the engine with a rebuilt-engine costing over $8,000 and completed the work on June 14th (26 days in the shop).Beginning July 1st, the rebuilt engine began leaking oil around the camshaft valve cover. The dealership inspected the car and agreed to contact the company from which they purchased the rebuilt engine. They needed to get approval from the supplier before doing any repairs. In the meantime, they told me to continue driving the car. After I called the dealership four times for an update, the dealership informed me that they needed pictures. I emailed pictures to the dealership immediately. I called the dealership four more times for an update and on July 28th, I was told that I could bring the car in August 3rd. The dealership added a high temperature sealant to the valve cover and I picked up the car on August 4th. 34 days to get the oil leak fixed on the rebuilt engine and a total of 77 days from the initial engine failure.

Some of the stories on here are similar to my own... really bad Audi customer service (after sales, of course). Ive been a customer of Audi for 5 yrs and I have to admit I do change them quite often (6 in the 5 yrs). I cash purchase. (I now know its a big no-no to buy cash!... but Id never had a problem before.)Heres just a little of whats been going on with my Audi A4...November 2012...We traveled to Audi in Carlisle and purchased an Audi A4 (61 plate ex demo) for $18,990.18th December, 2012... We had an egg smell coming from the vehicle, we called a local Audi and we were told that the car is new and the smell will disperse as the car is new and the parts sometimes burn off excess oil?23rd December, 2012... During a family day out with the children, we traveled down the A1 to see family and do some last minute Christmas shopping. The smell and heat coming from the vehicle was very apparent, but after a call to Audi, we were told to ignore it, so we did. On the return journey, the car started billowing black smoke, and the heat and smell were strong enough for us to have to pull over and require assistance from RAC/Audi Assistance... We were told that the car had a clutch failure and it had to go into Audi Teesside for repairs.**I required a courtesy car during this period and Audi Assist, who knew I had 3 children, issued me with a 2-seater Audi TT!? This scuppered nearly all of our family Christmas plans, but as my gran was over from Germany and I knew this may be the last Christmas I have with her, I was determined to get to were she was from Teesside. This was a mammoth task with a family of 5 and a 2-seater car. Two of the children nor myself got to see gran before she left, unfortunately (she passed 2 weeks later).**9th January, 2013... I received a call from Gemma ** in Audi customer services to say that my car was being delivered back to me today as it has been fixed. It had apparently needed a new clutch, which had now been done, and we were able to take it back. She had just been informed from the dealers (Teesside Audi) that the work was complete.9th January, 2013... My car was delivered back at lunchtime with an invoice stating that my car had been fitted with a new clutch, and oil had been topped up (under warranty work). So I decided to drive to my local Tesco with my little daughter. Within half a mile, I noticed the smell initially, and the heat followed. I spotted some light smoke coming from the bonnet so I pulled over. I decided to call Teesside and spoke to Mark, who had apparently carried out the work, and I told him what was happening to my car. He said the car is going through what is called a regeneration and I was to ignore it and keep driving. I also rung Gemma and she said he knows what hes talking about, and with a new part, sometimes they give off a smell and I was to do what he said...I drove another mile up the road when my car once again was smoking and other road users and bystanders where signalling for me to pull over... Completely frightened and not knowing what to do, I quickly pulled over, and as I left my vehicle, a fellow driver approached and said that looks dangerous and I was to stand back with the little one... I did so, and he and another man cautiously opened my bonnet. With that, a ball of black smoke and fire shot from the front of my car... I called RAC/Audi Assist who came to me at the roadside. It took him 90 minutes to arrive at the vehicle and he stated that he could smell my car more than 100 yards away. He wouldnt move it whilst the car was still so hot, so he left it to be later recovered by Ron Perry (a tow company)... I called Gemma to let her know and she told me it turned out that Mark in Teesside had not even repaired the car, and she felt awful that shed allowed me to take this vehicle back when they hadnt done anything to it by way of repair... Marks excuse was that he thought I was imagining it!? But he had provided us with an invoice to say these works had been carried out? Gemma said she wasnt happy with what had happened and she felt somewhat responsible, so she advised that I put a formal complaint in writing to the branch about this technician and she was doing the same on her end as she felt partly responsible, and that she was referring my case to the executive office. My car was taken to the Audi Tyneside garage where they discovered that the clutch was completely burnt out and desperately needed replacing. Richard from Tyneside said that if the car had been driven any further, it could of been much worse. (I have to add that Richard and Mark in Tyneside gave me a fantastic level of care and commitment I felt looked after whilst in there capable hands...)2nd February, 2013... I receive a call to say my car is repaired and it can be brought back to me. 8th February, 2013... The car breaks down, clutch slipped. 14th Feb, 2013... I get my car back, but during a road test, it fails and the clutch fails again.21st Feb, 2013... The clutch was replaced again, and once again, I am given my car back. We were away 25th Feb to 11th March, and upon returning, the car wouldnt start. Once again, the car is towed, and were told that the 2nd base plate on the clutch has corroded and it needs another new part (a base plate?) 26th March, 2013... We get our car back, and for the first week or so, it seems to be driving o.k.4th April, 2013... The car has started pulling to the left and the egg smell and smoke has returned, we call RAC and have it towed to a different garage (Harrogate). Maybe some fresh eyes will help and finally give us a car we can use. We receive a call to say that the vehicle may be pulling due to the tyres, so by replacing them, this may help the problem. We paid 500+VAT to have the tyres replaced, only to be told two days later that during further investigation its been found that the clutch has slipped again. We were also told that the new model of Audi has a larger gap for the clutch, but as Audis are using an older model of clutch, the clutch is able to move around and this is why it keeps slipping. A new part is ordered again to replace the small one.22nd April... My car is brought back. Im informed that they couldnt fit the new part as it didnt work. All they could do is tighten the clutch and hope for the best, but during towing it back to me, my car was damaged during transportation. The low load driver couldnt apologise enough for the damage, and after letting me see what had happened, he took it back away again to have the damage repaired... I was utterly devastated and slowly losing faith and patience.29th April 2013... The car is brought back with no damage and the drive of it seems ok.6th May... The car stalls and the smell is back. The car goes in to Harrogate which is were it is now... Ive told them Im fed up now. I spent nearly twenty thousand pounds (which I paid for in cash) for a car which is wholly unreliable. And as Ive been told on at least 5 occasions it is Not fit for purpose, I called Audi and asked what my next step is as I believe Ive given Audi more than ample opportunity to repair my vehicle, which still hasnt happened. I have done everything Audi has asked of me and some and now I cant take anymore. I cant continue to put my children into something that I dont trust and is so unreliable. On the 9th of May, I wrote a letter of rejection for the vehicle to Audi UK and a copy went to the garage I purchased it from. I dont feel Im getting any further forward so Trading Standards Tanvir has requested that he take over this whole case. Hes advising I go to the press and sue for negligence, but this is not really my thing. I just want what I paid for - a prestige car from a prestige company, and as a loyal Audi customer for over 5 years, I dont want to go down this route.Last month, I contacted Martin Winterkorns P.A., who gave me Verena ** (VWG M.D- P.A) contact details name and number, and she said they will be able to help, which wasnt the case. They are now basically saying that if I remove my complaint against the technician, they will help; otherwise, pay for further work myself... The whole thing got passed over to Lee **, an Audi exec, and he is a complete plank who doesnt care about customers... service... duty of care, so Ive sent everything over to Motor Codes and theyre investigating.Sorry, its so long-winded, but I wanted to get all the details in. Does anyone know if theres anything else I can do? Thanks, guys.

I took in the car as the windows smash and grab gets scratched out every time I open the windows (all of them). Then they lied to me and said its the type of rubber Audi uses which scratches all their windows so they cant help me or change it. 2015/04/14 - My car is new and its not even a month old and it is flashing oil change. Response was a sorry and they took it in to be fixed. 2015/11/26 - My car went in for a service and they smashed it and had to wait until January driving a smashed car. Brand new car now turned into a smashed one and I must just accept a sorry???Response was: It is regrettable that your car got damaged whilst in for service. We do sincerely apologize for the mishap despite us taking extreme caution with our customers cars. Please understand that we do not plan these things but they do happen at all dealerships. We are transparent and accept responsibility for the incident. I have arranged for your car to come in around the 2nd week of January 2016 once everything returns to normal. And then they ask me not to rate them with Audi SA - May I please ask that you do not participate in the survey with IPSOS should they decide to call you. May I ask that you rather participate in the survey once we have repaired the damage on your car? This rating is very important to us and I think the whole experience has been tainted by this unfortunate event. Now I went over a month ago as here is a list of problems. Loud sound when I hit the brakes and go over humps, the car cuts power when I drive it, the car doesnt lock, the dashboard and speedometer switches off while Im driving, when you put the car on reverse it does the opposite and when you put it on drive it reverses before it moves forward (at my sons school when I put it on drive it reversed into another car). The soft top needs to be tightened as well, no rain sensor as well, its as if electrically it is messed up.Over a month ago they asked me to bring it in and one of their technicians drove around Sandton to listen and also said he knows what the problem is so I need to book it in and it will take days to fix it. I asked if I will get a loan car and they said ok. When we went back to their office where they said the booking agents were in a meeting and I must just leave my number, they did phone me and booked it in for the 8th of June. When the car started not locking I phoned them again as I was very worried then Ismail asked me to bring it in this Monday, I asked for my loan car and was told I will never get one as the previous guys did not even book a loan car for me and if I want to wait then they can only fix and give me a loan car in July.Clearly Audi doesnt care about the owners safety. I decided I have to take it as I fear for my life, I dropped it off at Audi on Monday morning and even today I havent got feedback as to what is wrong with the car??? I really thought the technician that drove with me said he knew where the problem is. I really want Audi to give me my money and take their car back. I seriously dont think its fair that its their technical fault and I must suffer!!! Now I phoned at 7h25 today to speak to Ismael or the dealer principal (was told Ismael is around but they cant get hold of him and the dealer principal will be in around 1 pm). Vehicle (2016 A6 Quattro) has shut off while driving. Vehicle has shut off while at a stop light; would not immediately restart. Fiddled with the gears, put in park. Got vehicle to start after about 30-60 seconds. 30-60 seconds is a significant amount of time at a stop light that has just turned green. This has happened 3 times. Enter vehicle; start; put in reverse or drive to exit my driveway; car has shut off while attempting to exit driveway, 4 times; warning/Prompting me to put it in park. Brakes or rotors make a scratching noise; notice if driving close to a wall or median (to reflect the sound) when windows are down. Have had brakes checked by dealer multiple times and have been told they were fine. However, they make a constant noise. My parking sensor has been stuck in a position that makes vehicle think the passenger side front bumper is in contact with something. Will usually go back to normal by the next day. This has happened twice. Also has 2 recalls. 1 has not been completed. The other, the airbag recall, has been unable to be repaired. Dealer states they have not been sent the parts. This has been ongoing for months now.

I bought this car new in 2007 - A6. Today 80,000 miles basically 10,000 miles year, always took care of it like diamond service in time never speed, during this last 8 years I tried always find the best in the car and ignore the worst like when you love something you look only qualities. But the true is this car sucks. Today was raining. I went for lunch and for my surprise when I open the door a lake inside my car. Thats it - taking this to a Mercedes dealership. Get any money I can for it and moving to a Mercedes or something else. Audi is full of marketing but far from perfection. A car that can hold the rain is not a car.

I have purchased an Audi A6 2.7TDI in May 2010. The details of vehicle are as follows: Vehicle Type : AUDI A6 2.7 Tdi. Makers Name : Audi India. Fuel used : DieselThe vehicle is giving trouble continuously since the same was purchased in 2010. We furnish below the list of some of the major defects we noticed. The vehicle was sent for repairs to Hyderabad. 1. Water leakage problem occurred in September 2010, and the water pump was replaced with a new one. 2. The belt of the alternator was found to be broken. 3. Steering jam problem. 4. Brake problem was noticed after repairs en route; for example, Hyderabad to Nagpur. 5. Front wind shield cracked and replaced in October 2011. 6. Servicing and minor repairs in June 2012 at Nagpur workstation. 7. Fuel line problem occurred immediately after servicing at Nagpur workstation.8. During the past, the vehicle was stranded en route twice in the span of 2 years.First of all, in September 2010, we found some defects. The same was communicated to Audi India for the defects in the vehicle were water leakage, defective alternator, and defective steering jam. The vehicle was sent to Olympus Motors Private Limited, Hyderabad for repairs. While communicating the defect to you, I had already notified to please note I cannot pull on with such problems often & often in a new vehicle with only 7000 km of run. I am very much disturbed with problems like this, and as such, request you to kindly take back the vehicle, which is running with all these manufacturing defects. The vehicle was sent to Hyderabad for repairs for four times, but the problems in the vehicle continued. In addition to the above, some brake system failures were generated en route from Hyderabad to Nagpur, which was again repaired by Audi technicians, who came all the way from Hyderabad to Nagpur for these repairs. In October 2011, a crack was noticed at the left corner of the front windshield which gradually developed and was then replaced with a new front windshield by your Hyderabad-based workstation. However, every time, the vehicle needs to be sent to Hyderabad and received back at Nagpur in a closed van. The cost of transportation of Rs. 80,000 was incurred by us for replacing front windshield glass worth Rs. 40,000.The vehicle was continuously giving us trouble and was required to be sent to Hyderabad for repairs 4 times, but the list of the problems continue to be growing even today, though the same was sent for regular servicing and timely repairs at your authorized service stations. The vehicle continued to be out of order for some or the other reason. This vehicle was sent for servicing at your Nagpur-based workstation for servicing in the end of June 2012. Some or the other small manufacturing defects lead me to rethink about my decision of purchasing the vehicle and more particularly Audi-made vehicles. The manufacturing defects crop up every time and lead to dissatisfaction. After servicing the vehicle, some problem of fuel pump choke-up cropped up; and the vehicle was detained for about 20 days at the Nagpur workstation for getting certain spares. The net effect was that the vehicle remained idle for no fault of us, even if the same was sent for servicing on time. The vehicle is again sent for repairs on 21.07.2012, since the diesel leakage problem was noticed in the vehicle. It appears that the diesel tank was improperly fitted or alignment must have been disturbed. It is noted that the vehicle traveled for 30,431 km till date and remained with continuous problems with such a short run. I am very much perturbed and dissatisfied by the everyday problems in the vehicle. I therefore request you to kindly take back the vehicle. It is regretted to state that I am sorry to continue to own this vehicle any more, and therefore, Im inclined to request you to kindly take back the vehicle and refund us the cost I had already paid along with interest thereon at 18% per annum.

Car started burning oil at 95,000 miles. Dealer says they have never heard of the problem (but this is obviously not true because there are online complaints on this very issue). We usually keep our cars 150,00 miles and have done all the required maintenance and repairs (by the local dealer). Selling the car - wont buy another Audi. Very disappointed in Audi. They should do a recall and fix these problems.

I purchased a 2020 A5 sport back new from the dealer. The Audi connect services are wanting and do not work. Ive been told Audi is transitioning its service but still it has been a frustrating 3 weeks and counting to not only solve the issue but find whom to talk to and receive the support I need to resolve the issue. My advice for anyone buying a new model is to get all tech matters set up before leaving the dealer and have them agree the car will be delivered working. It is extremely difficult to get support after the purchase. It is very disappointing considering the cost of the car which lacks many features that can be found in non luxury brands.

Bought my wife a Q7 and were really enjoying it. It has a lot of great technology. Our son just got his learners permit and has been practicing with my wife in the passenger seat. We have a clay pot near the corner of our garage door that hides the garden hose. My son misjudged the 90 degree turn from our driveway into the garage and hit the pot. His speed was less than 5 miles per hour. The pot suffered no damage (if you get really close, you can see that there is a small stripe of the glazing that has lost a little of its sheen). The Q7, however, fell apart. I had no idea that the bumper and several of the front panels are only held on by clips. Also, some of the electronic sensors for the active cruise control were knocked out of adjustment. Total cost to repair the very fragile Q7 was $4,656.47. I cant imagine how costly the damage would have been if the Q7 was actually involved in a real accident with another vehicle. This is beyond a glass chin. Would its passengers even be safe considering that it falls apart so easily? Consider yourself warned and stay far away.

I am not an Audi customer, but rather a former employee of one of their stores. The store I was working at engaged in shameful practices towards customers and had such a weak employee staff it was laughable. Half the sales staff were not properly trained while the other half were vicious sharks wanting to have any and all customers landed in their hands to ensue an aggressive close. In other words, while looking at the car a customer may be with a person who has almost no knowledge of the product, but when the time comes to discuss numbers an expert at digging in your budget is presented. If any type of issue would arise that was questionable, they were experts at rearranging the conversation to avoid answering questions or resolving the matter. Most of the barely trained sales team were not even able to pretend that they had any decent level of manners or education. Multiple customers would complain about this but it was never addressed properly or effectively. The cars themselves? Lets just say that more than 30% had issues immediately after the sale. It is really hard to sell a car that a customer brings back the next day for service.

I really liked this car until something bad happened. One of the nice features of the Q7, or most any other high end SUV is the ground radar which helps you park and warns you of objects in the road. This is especially important in a large SUV where you have limited visibility. But this feature did not work on my new 2017 Audi Q7. While parking, I ran over an object that sliced open the oil pan. It looked like someone had taken a knife to a cheap aluminum beer can. I thought how could an SUV have such a cheaply made oil pan? I know one doesnt take a Q7 off-roading every day, but youd think you could do it every once in a while, no?Then more bad news when the Audi shop told me that I had to also replace the oil pump. I was stunned by this as the oil pump is up high and wasnt touched at all in this incident. I have asked and still do not have an adequate response from anyone at Audi. Does one have to replace the oil pump anytime the pan is removed?Next problem was that as I had no idea the oil pan was sliced open, I drove less than a mile back home without any oil in the engine. At first there was the typical light on the dashboard indicating that I should replace the oil. I thought that was strange with a new car but I was almost home so I continued. Then just when I was turning the last corner a larger warning came on to say that I should shut the car off as it was out of oil. Which I did seconds later. But now I am concerned that the motor is damaged and the warranty violated.Anyhow, now I have to pay a couple thousand bucks to get my new Q7 back on the road, not to mention my concern over the health of the engine in the future. I think I should junk the car, but I paid an awful lot of money for it. This whole thing is partially my fault for running over the object, but I really think that Audi oversold the intelligence and robustness of their new Q7.

Dear Customer Care, I am an AUDI A6 User and would like to express my view
Dear Customer Care, I am an AUDI A6 User and would like to express my view how AUDI INDIA is and how their Service center and how they are malfunctioning and ruining the name of Audi. I have been using the Audi A 66 past 7 years which is now 86000 kms been running but now the service centres are just malfunctioning the customers with very high price, making problems in the car and then expressing then the said parts needs to change or else they cannot do any thing.Audi India has created a customer which is just for a name sake and cannot do anything. The name says as customer care which means for customer but they are saying the words of Service centres and nothing else and also one of the executive told me he cannot do anything. Then why Audi India has created a CUSTOMER CARE. Its better you remove that and close that customer care and make it customer information centre.I sent my car for a regular service and on the receipt of the car after service i noticed that an error is showing on my cluster which says oil level is low so i immediately complained the service centre and asked them that you charged me for the oil change etc but why it is showing which was not showing earlier. Then they took the car back and after 5 days they said I need to pay Rs. 125000 to change the cluster so I am so upset that it was not there before service and after they service they deliberately make the programming in such a way that this error showing and now make money from the customer. At the outset so called customer care is also cannot do any thing. After my complaint the service team relation ship manager is calling me and saying that this error was there past one year and now showing. Is it possible? Also she is claiming that we can get it verified but the question is from where can i verify this? When i ask the same question to Audi India customer care they also says what the service centre says is right. What does this means, as I have all the rights to make sure what the problem is and get it verified but there is no answer with any one.It seems nobody at AUDI wants to address the concern and leave the customer at a mercy that either I pay or get rid of the problem or i close the issue. This is the kind of service level AUDI INDIA is doing and your dealers are killing the Audi India Image. I wish i wouldnt have purchase the Audi and it is my worst decision to buy Audi Car now. I am not going to recommend this car to any one and will also put on all the forums so that all the future buyers should understand the After sales service support that Audi India has. I also wish i would have been in Europe or USA where the law is such that the Audi India has a responsibility to answer. This is it. Thanks. Jai **

I have a 2010 Avant 4 Audi wagon that has had persistent, unresolved issues from day one, up to the point that my car, at just 4 years old, is now mechanically failed unless a new engine is put in to the tune of $15,000. I have been meticulous with maintenance on this car. From day 1, oil consumption has been an issue - was told that it was within specs (a quart every 1,000 miles - really?) - until an oil/pressure test was performed, which my car failed. Piston/rings were replaced, which still did not ultimately resolve the issue. Lost complete power in the car while driving a highway speeds (no steering, no brakes, black dashboard - in rush hour traffic) - could have been seriously injured. Towed again to Audi, which many hundred dollars later was told the problem should be resolved, but cant guarantee the repairs. One month later, car shuts down again while driving, with alarms to turn engine off - low oil pressure. AGAIN, towed to Audi - told to replace camshaft bridge and replace oil pump (almost $2,000 MORE) - only to be told that the low oil pressure light continues to come on, and the only recommend now is to replace the engine to the tune of $12,000-$15,000. Which is ridiculous. The KBB street value is nowhere near what has been invested in repairs in this car. I was told We understand your frustration, but the only thing Audi (national) can/will offer is to double the customer loyalty discount IF I buy a NEW Audi from this dealer, and my car has little to no value without the engine. I am without a car, and cant get my car back unless I pay for the $2,000 that didnt resolve the problem. It seems reasonable to me that a car, built on performance and truth in engineering should last longer than 4 years, particularly when properly maintained as mine has been. Further, dependability in a car is an assumed concept that Audi touts in ALL their media. I would further expect BOTH Audi and the dealership to stand behind their cars, but all I get is We understand your frustration, and these issues are no fault of your own, though I have to pay for them. The service department admits that my car has a history of repairs way beyond the normal range for an Audi, but theres nothing they can, or will do. I clearly have a poorly engineered car, that cant be driven, and is virtually worthless. I CANNOT believe Audi (national as well as the dealer) wont stand behind a badly produced car, and rectify a bad situation.

Buyer Beware!!! These cars have transmissions and clutch issues!!! I purchased a 2021 brand new off the lot with only 6 miles and 5 months later I started having transmission issues barely escaping off the highway alive when the car decided to shut down on me. The engine light came on stating that I had transmission failure and it completely shut off after I barely made it off onto the ramp, luckily I was near an exit, otherwise it would have shut down on the highway. People please read up on Audi’s and their transmission issues before purchasing!!! I purchased my Audi S7 as a CPO at 49000 miles. The moment I received the car I noticed it had unusual shifting between 1st and 2nd gear, and how it behaves with just stop and go movement. It would be worst in stop and go traffic where the transmission would make a clunky noise and could be felt under the floor. So far they’ve updated ECM and Transmission Software, replaced Mechatronics, replaced multiple motor mounts and control arms ball joints etc, replaced weeping coolant and transmission fluid lines... and after being the 6th week in the shop currently they will replace the Dual Clutch and hope this solves the problem. This has already been my 4th time in the shop and the car has now spent over 60 days in the shop for the same issue. I’m even hesitant to take the car back anymore knowing how hard it was to battle a transmission problem from the start. It’s unfortunate all Techs only look for Fault Codes on a Computer when the problem can be a caused by a mechanical failure. At the end of the day, it’s not a shop foreman’s car, and he will never feel what you feel with the vehicle.

Purchased 2013 Audi A5 with 2k miles no warranty. Developed a very bad vibration from front end, no damage, changed wheels and tires still no better. Seems that vibration is a common problem with this model, search any Audi forum and you can see for yourself. Replaced minor this and that up to 25k when the engine started making a diesel sound. Mechanic tells me problem; timing chain and tensioner is common with this motor and charges me $2500 to repair. Before assembly shows me where the timing chain has bore a hole in the side of the motor due to faulty part (picture).Notified Audi of America who tells me so sorry to hear that however if you want to take the car to a dealer and have them disassemble (at your own cost) we will look into it... Really? I guess a picture documenting the problem isnt good enough. Replace more this and thats and develop a clicking in the front end from both wheels, another common problem with Audi requiring more mechanical labor... Dont even care at this point, Ill keep the windows up! 45k miles and another light on the dash equals more time in the shop, this time its the Camshaft for some reason, and cant just replace one... Another $4500. They say its difficult to have brand loyalty with Audi? No kidding.Just keep getting slapped in the face from this Audi, no quality and no customer service help. The its a common problem with Audi cars keeps ringing in my ears. I saw a post on an Audi owners site that said something like If you cant afford a couple grand for a repair, youre driving the wrong car. A very true statement! Do yourself a favor and look at a few Audi owners’ websites before making a purchase, youll be glad you did. For me, Im covering this overpriced piece of junk and letting it set before it costs me anymore money to drive. The Audi experience!!

I have a 2012 Q7 with 125000 on the clock. I must say this is one of the most reliable and enjoyable vehicles I have owned. It never breaks down and just requires regular maintenance. As for people complaining about noisy brakes I find this only occurs if the pads are not properly bedded. As other posters said they are unwilling to do 5 or 6 fast stops from 60 mph to 20 in succession on a deserted road. If they did this as recommended by the Audi dealer this would bed the brake pads properly. This vehicle has high performance brakes not your cheap brakes found on most cars. I am so satisfied with Audi we replaced our Volvo with another Audi. When the time comes to replace the Q7 I will be getting another Audi.

I would caution anyone against purchasing a new or used Audi solely based on their horrendous customer service and deceptive service practices. I purchased a new 2017 Audi Q7 and almost immediately notice an obnoxious squealing noise from the front brakes, especially when they were cold. On multiple occasions I mentioned this to my service advisor at Bluegrass Audi when I was having work done on the vehicle. I was consistently told that the noise was normal and was just due to the nature of the brake pads. I recently received a notice of a Class Action Settlement, “Mercado v Volkswagen Group…: that specifically addressed this very issue and I have also learned that there were several Technical Service Bulletins (2050735/1) issued in early 2018 by Audi that addressed this issue and specifically how service departments should fix the issue. Unfortunately, my service department never addressed this issue and I am apparently stuck dealing with the obnoxious squealing. I contacted Audi USA to see what could be done and was told they could not offer any assistance and my only option would be to take legal action on my own. This is tremendously disappointing for a company that holds itself out as consumer focused.

I paid off my 2016 Audi A6. I cancel the additional products which was finance with with my loan. I was due over $5000.00 in refunds. A week after the refund was supposed to be mailed to me I contacted the purchasing dealership to check the status. I was told that Audi Financial Services received the refund a week prior and cash the check. The same day I contacted Audi Financial Services and was told that refund check has to clear their bank and a refund check will be mail to me within a week. Waited two weeks past the expected day of the refund. Call Audi Fin and was told that the amount of the refund was over $5000.00 and someone with higher authority have to approve the refund. Call back a week later the Rep told me they are still working on the refund and no other information was available at this time.

I have a 2010 A4 which has been perfectly maintained and cared for since purchased brand new from Pfaff Audi, the largest Audi dealer in Canada. At the time of purchase I was considering the S4 model but because of the price difference I was hesitant. One of the salespersons mentioned that Pfaff also have a tuning division that specializes in tuning German cars such as Porsche, BMW and Audi and I could have my car electronically chipped inexpensively and that because they were the Audi dealer the warranty would not be affected.Less than 3 years later with only 85,000 km (approx 52k miles) on the odometer when I took the car in for a regular scheduled maintenance I was informed that there was a broken piston. The dealer was quite sympathetic and acknowledged that they had never encountered this issue with such a relatively new car. They said they would make a request to Audi to defray some of the substantial costs involved in the repair.Audi replied that they would not consider helping in any way because (1) the car was past the warranty (85,400 warranty apparently is until 85,000 km) and (2) the car had been electronically chipped. Notwithstanding the fact that the tuning was done by an authorized Audi dealer and I had been assured that it would not affect in any way the warranty there has never been any suggestion that the tuning could have led to the piston breaking. In communication with Audi they completely disavowed any meaningful relationship or joint responsibility with the dealers claiming that they are independent operators. The fallacy of that assertion is obvious to all but the most credulous. It appears to me that the broken piston in such a new, well maintained car is likely a manufacturing defect. Audi refuse to acknowledge that but do implicitly admit that a broken piston is something that Audi owners may expect with no hint of apology or assistance. Quite the attitude from a so called luxury car maker. In summary I am out $10,000. On the Audi ledger they have lost 3 customers within my immediate family not to mention the scores of business colleagues and friends who are only naturally curious to know why my expensive new car was off the road for 3 weeks for repairs. Incredibly, Audi have managed to turn an Audi aficionado into someone who doesnt have a good word to say about them. All for the sake of a small contribution to my repair costs. At least BMW/Infiniti will be happy.

The issue that I have experienced was: 1.5 months back I had my 5 year old Audi A3 cut out on the motorway due to the engine mis-firing. I had RAC tow the car into Audi Nottingham where they said one of the injectors had failed which caused fuel to enter into the engine and cause this issue. I paid £1200 to get this fixed. A month later the car cut out again with the exact same symptoms, so I had it taken into Audi Sheffield. After having the car for 2 weeks they are still not able to re-produce the failure but can confirm from the vehicle computer system that the engine is mis-firing. After buying a premium car, and having it taken only to an Audi dealer for any services/repairs it is really disappointing to experience first hand the lack of quality with both the car and the service received. It occurred on: 11/06/2019.This meant that I was put in danger by the engine cutting off on the motorway. I was left without a car for 2 weeks during the initial breakdown. I was left without a car for another 2 weeks during the second week. I have lost all confidence in the car, the Audi group and the capability of the Audi technicians who are meant to be the best at what they do. I would like Audi to take ownership for selling me a car with a faulty engine and actually get it fixed. There comes a time when they need to stop looking for every excuse as to why the car engine is failing and look into what is causing the engines to fail in a car that is 5 years old with 60K miles on the clock. This is the most disappointed I have ever been with a car company or the services I have received from any car OEM! I look forward to your prompt response on this matter.

I have been a proud owner of an Audi Q5, 2014 model from the fall of 2013 until 4 months ago when the “add oil” light turned on for the first time. Since then the light turns on every 2,000 – 2,500 km, more or less. My husband brought the car into the Audi Dealership in London, Ontario, Canada (the same dealership we bought the car from). After multiple investigations, we have been told this is something normal for this type of engine (Turbo 2.0L). Both my husband and I are Mechanical Engineers, car owners and avid car users and we’ve never seen or heard about this kind of “normality” with any other car we’ve owned (or not owned).Because the experts from the Audi dealership reassured us that “that’s the norm”, we decided to dig a little bit deeper and figure it out for ourselves. What we found out did frighten us indeed! The issue has been existent in 2009 to 2012 models, after many, many complaints a lawsuit has been issued and won by the Audi car owners. The problem they were having was identical with the one we are having. This proves that this isn’t the norm, it is a huge issue not resolved by Audi and the problem still exists. However, our request to be treated in the same way has been denied by the London Audi Dealership. This being said I am not very concerned about the increased cost of the oil (I could start adding the oil every time I fill up the tank with gas lol), however we don’t even need to be mechanically inclined to figure out that in not too long of a time the engine will completely fail. That’s going to be a very costly repair for an issue that wasn’t provoked by us, but it has been grandfathered through a bad design that perpetuates from one model year to another and very well hidden by the dealerships from the eyes and knowledge of the pranked customers (on their own big bucks, of course, not mentioning about the huge safety hazard they are being exposed to by being lied about the real performance of the car).I asked the Audi dealership, as well as their customer service representatives to put themselves in my shoes. I thought I was commuting to my place of work using a safe and reliable car, an Audi Q5, one of the best and safest SUV in the world as per all the advertising I’ve seen everywhere, just to find out that anytime its engine could die due to the continuous increase of oil leakage. I have been driving with the Damocles sword above my head since the “add oil” light turned off for the first time. I paid a full year salary on this car just to make sure I am SAFE. Beside scrapping it and buying another car (not an Audi, of course), what something else should I do?

I have a 2012 Audi A4 2.0. 80K miles. Last week without any prior symptoms my engine light goes on. I drive a few miles home the next day. My car will not start. I take it to dealer for diagnosis, dealer tells me the timing chain tensioner failed and timing jumped causing major damage to engine. Repair cost or new engine is estimated between six and fourteen thousand dollars. This is a known issue from Audi and there is a class action lawsuit for same issue. Looking for Audi USA to see if they can assist. Anyone had same issue or experience with Audi USA? Any recommendations.

I was very excited when I purchased my first Audi which was a brand new 2020 Audi Q3. I had been wanting an Audi for quite some time, however this has by far been the worst car purchase I have ever experienced. I bought this car in June of 2020 and today is 8/13/2020 and today marks the 3rd time I have to drop this brand new car off for servicing. I hadnt even driven the car 500 miles yet before I got an error message stating system malfunction. I shut off the car and restarted it and few minutes later, same error message.Took it for servicing and supposedly they fixed it after a week or so but few days later after driving my vehicle, got the same error message. The second time I took it in, they kept my car for 22 days and replaced the turbo and again while leaving I was told that the issue was resolved. Got my car back and then few days later, I got the same error message. I am beyond dissatisfied with my purchase and this was least expected. I am very turned off and would never ever purchase another Audi and would never recommend an Audi to anyone. I wish I could just return this car. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED WITH AUDI AND SUPER FRUSTRATED.

The vehicle has never missed a service and yet it has had issues since the very first week it was purchased new from Audi Centre Perth in May 2010 for just over $100,000.00. See the History of excess oil consumption which is ongoing, gearbox malfunction at 62,000km, and now the catastrophic engine failure at 102,000km, due to the faulty timing chain tensioner. The most disappointing thing of all is that once you actually begin to investigate these issues it is very clear to see that Audi were well aware of these issues all along. In fact, only after legal action in the USA, they agreed to rectify these issues at no cost to owners. The oil issue is covered for an extended 8 years or 88,000 miles for 3 options of rectification, and the engine failure due to the faulty timing chain tensioner is covered for 10 years or 100,000 miles with a replacement of the engine. However by far the worst part that I find completely outrageous is the fact that there was a recall in the USA of all vehicles with this engine type to replace the faulty Timing Chain tensioner due to the significant number of engines having to be replaced, yet Audi Australia failed to even advise owners of the high probability of a catastrophic engine failure. The lack of disclosure to Australian owners denied them and me the option of even paying for a replacement tensioner, at a much smaller cost, and prevent what appears to be the inevitable engine failure and the significant cost to rectify that. The exact situation that I find myself in now.The failure of Audi Australia and the Audi Service Centre to inform me at any stage that there was a known defect in the timing chain tensioner, and advise me that it would be wise to replace it at a small cost now, rather than be left with an enormous unexpected cost down the track. The cost is one thing however the absolute inconvenience of the vehicle being off the road for 3 weeks now, combined with having to hire a car and not being offered a loan car after 3 weeks, is also unacceptable.

I called corporate to complain and they did nothing about it. I dont recommend you purchase a car from this dealership or an Audi for that matter. I purchased the car used in Late August/Early Sept 2012 in New Jersey. The car had around 42k miles on it when purchased. Within month the oil light came on and I had it in. They topped it off (no receipt) and told me to watch it. Came in again Oct 19 and at that time they updated ECM software and replaced pressure regulating valve and front crank seal and started oil consumption test. They told me that the problem should be fine now. January 2013 EPS light came on and this time it was faulty steering column control module. Oil light back on March, April and every month since. They told me to just come in every time and they would top it off with no paperwork. Over the summer of 2013 the light started coming on every 2 weeks and I started topping it off myself because I couldnt keep running back there and getting into work late. I have had the oil changes done at the recommended intervals, always at the dealer. In Sept 2013 when the light came on again, I took it in and told them it had been coming on every two weeks for a couple of months. They said they would watch it again, and when it came on every two weeks, they did the oil consumption test for the second time. I had to pay for phase 1 and wait for the light to come back on which I did. I had it in two weeks ago for phase 2 and at that time the engine light had also come on. The car failed the oil consumption test and the catalytic converter needed replaced. I have an extended warranty which covers the catalytic converter, but they said the oil consumption issue was not and now I am over the original warranty. They were going to try to get Audi to do something but that was over two weeks ago and the oil light came on again. I had to wait for the catalytic converter to come in and they dont want me to bring it in until they talk to Audi. How long does it take to make a phone call? In the meantime, I am afraid of my engine seizing, which I have heard has happened, and I am tired of having to run to the dealer every other week. I have been in that place more than any other service department combined with all the cars I have owned. I am a 50 year old professional woman who takes meticulous care of my cars and this is absolutely absurd! My son is soon to get his license, and I certainly do not feel safe having him drive around in this vehicle. I have done research on this issue and I know there are a lot of unhappy Audi owners out there. I have been waiting for a class action suit to come about. Hopefully I qualify...Just a footnote...my daughter had a VW Passat when she first started driving and we had so many problems, the dealer took it back, and sold it at auction (He was a friend of the family though)! Sorry for the tirade, but I have reached my wits end! Today, February 22, 2014, I received notice that Audi was not going to assist in any way and the dealer may pay half of the cost to replace pistons and rings? Half? First of all half of what? I have no idea what the cost is going to be... I can only imagine its very expensive. Second, this problem has existed since the day I bought it and it was still under manufacturers warranty at that time. I don think I should have to pay anything for what is obviously a defective engine. I cant even sell the car in good conscience, but I am truly at a loss here and infuriated. Where is the consumer protection here? What are our options? Help...anyone!

Audi A4 2.0T - 69k miles and Im in the hole almost $8k!! Bought the car certified pre-owned with 32k miles. Keeping up with all recommended maintenance and caring for the car inside and out, this vehicle has been nothing but a lemon. Its been on a tow truck 4 times in 3 years. In the shop 6 times outside of regular maintenance. Cylinders replaced. Pistons replaced. A/c gone twice! I can go on... I dreamed of having this car, and now I cant get it sold quick enough. Going all American! Shame on Audi for poor design putting Turbo on a 4 cylinder car and straining the ** out of the engine causing parts to weaken faster for replacement. Overpriced car doesnt even hold value. Never again! That just explains why there is so much inventory of Audis for sale everywhere. People cant get rid of them quick enough.

My 2014 Audi Q5 was 1 year old in May 2015. I purchased it from Cavender in San Antonio, TX. My drive out price $60k. Every time I do a road trip more than 1.5 hrs I get excruciating pain in right leg. Last two cars were Lexus and BMW Z4 simultaneously. Never had this issue. Have talked with service dept and salesman multiple times even an email that included the owner. Have elevated issue to Audi cust support and talked/emailed with 2 ladies. The first just wanted to close the case. The second genuinely seemed concerned for the lack of cust svc and follow through by Cavender. I didnt want spectacular deals but didnt want them making a big profit on 1 year trade in or new car but we never even got close to those details. I am now looking at Volvo and Mercedes. Very disappointing. And everyone I know is accustomed to me keeping cars for a long time are asking why and getting all the details. Too bad Audi and Cavender.

We purchased a Pre-Owned Audi Q5 from Audi-West Chester, PA that was burning a quart of oil per month by 30,000 miles. I notified the salesman and manager the same day of purchase that the add oil message had appeared on the way home. From that point on neither would return my calls or emails and were always in meetings when I showed up. By 70,000 we were burning a quart each week! All along we were told by Audi West Chester that this was normal for any 2.0T.Recently I scheduled an Oil Consumption Test to be done at another dealer that I have dealt with, Mechanicsburg PA which was a nightmare of a process. This dealer confirmed numerous times over the past 2 years that burning oil was normal while I was in for other service. When I returned to conclude the oil test I was told the engine was burning 3 quarts of oil per 1,000 miles and Audi would probably cover 75% of the repairs, but before they could submit a claim I would have to pay $289 for another engine test.Yesterday, I received a call saying Audi agreed to pay 25% of a $5,000 repair due to high mileage. The fact that I had written documentation of the problem existing at 30,000 miles made no difference. No part of this warrants the premium price paid for these vehicles. I hope the 2009-2011 2.0T class action law suit gets extended, then all 3 of my Audi vehicles would be involved in class actions. What a great company. Seeing Audi reduced the factory warranty after moving production to Mexico tells me Audi dealers know they must put on a good show in the sales department and then add some smoke and mirrors to rake in the cash for service. Great business model.

In 2007, I purchased a 2003 Audi convertible A4 - 3.0. A few months after purchasing the car with 40,000 miles on the car and 1 month after the warranty expired, the CVT transmission went out. I contacted the local Audi dealer after a lot of wrangling the dealer reluctantly advised Audi would help me with 50% of the repair cost. My portion of this bill was $2,800. 40,500 miles after the transmission was replaced, I need yet another transmission. I called the local Audi dealer and was told that they warrant these transmissions for only 1 year. I asked if Audi would cover a portion of the cost of another transmission and he said no. I called the Audi headquarters and again was told that they only guaranteed the transmissions for 1 year. The lady I spoke with told me that they covered my first transmission replacement at 75% of the cost (I was told 50% by the dealership) and by my calculations, if they covered 75%, then the replacement transmission cost was in the range of $11,200! Bottom line: Audi has a faulty CVT transmission and they should back their product. I realize nothing last forever, but three transmissions within 80,500 miles is ridiculous!

New A6 Prestige purchased Dec 2019. On February 11th 2020 the new car just dies while spouse driving on Post Road in center lane with daughter in car. Car just stops and is immobile. Audi Emergency Roadside Assistance does not show up for 3 hours despite confirms two truck being sent and numerous calls for help. Car and spouse stranded in middle of dangerous road at rush hour. Fairfield Service Center engaged yet waiting on Audi Assistance service vs actually intervening to help a loyal local customer. Explanation is they are not responsible for roadside assistance? Car towed 3 plus hours after and no explanation why brand new car died. Safety was why we were loyal Audi clients for 12 years and 6 vehicles. Lack of safety is why that’s over. Questions linger on potential dangers of new A6 (reminder of sudden acceleration issues from past). The car suddenly dying if my spouse had been driving on I95 could have been much more dangerous. Post Road was dangerous enough. Disappointed and shocked after 12 years of loyalty to Audi cars and Fairfield Audi.

I have recently learned that the terms and conditions that I agreed to are in fact not what the contract that I signed represents. I am also very upset to learn that the market value that I was guaranteed was in fact false and was grossly overstated by at least $13,000. Even more so, I am upset by the fact that after consistently being assured and led to believe that a lease contract was far better to do instead of purchasing because I was getting a much better deal, this also has now been found to be false, and that the actual purchase price of the vehicle is an estimated $7,000 to $8,000 more than what I agreed, not to mention the fees that I paid upfront that were added back into the remaining amount due.I am bothered by the fact that Ashley with Audi Financial Services stated that she would have never agreed to sign a contract like the one that I was led to sign by the misrepresentation of facts. She also stated that the amount that was calculated for my 2010 A5 was more than what the normal payment should be. In referring to my contract and the terms, she stated that she had never seen one like this before. Jim, the manager at Audi Financial Services, stated that my true intent to purchase the car instead of leasing was evident by the fact that I made a down payment of $26,124.00. He also stated that he wished that there was something that he could do, but that his hands were tied. He advised me to contact Audi USA and/or the dealership to address modifying the contract terms and purchase price based on the information that had surfaced. Since the dealership has shown that deceptive and misleading actions were conducted in order to have me agree, I contacted Audi USA.Since then, I have been working with a representative named Rob. While he is nice and very apologetic, I feel that my efforts to work in good faith are potentially one-sided. This conclusion is based on my last conversation with Rob, in which I welcomed him to please pull the recorded conversations between Ashley, Jim, and myself to verify that Audi Financial Services agreed that my contract was written to be unfair to me. He stated that he did not think that it was possible for him to. He also stated that he would try to see what, if anything, could be done to modify my contract. I advised him that since my decision to enter into a contract with Audi of Columbia was based on misleading, false, and/or undisclosed information, if I would have been made aware of the true nature, costs, and terms of the contract, I would have never agreed to sign.Based on todays fair market value, Audi USA has been paid in full, but instead, I am being informed that I, in fact, owe an estimated $23,000 more, not including interest and finance charges. I am now being placed in a situation with Audi where I am being forced up against the wall to either agree to the grossly-inflated price, or watch Audi take possession of a car that is technically paid for due to the fact that my contract ends on 06/13/13.

Variety is great. The vehicle has hands on compatibility and an amazing stereo system stock inside with bass functions of a custom audio input system. Music is great for me and I loved that about the Vehicle. You cant go wrong with a classy, luxurious look. The vehicle has these looks plus the modernization of newer vehicles. The capabilities within its representation actually complements the vehicles abilities very well. I literally never see small cars with a lot of room but the Audi is made for small vehicle, great gas but holds more passengers than most cars and is about equal to an SUV passenger. Upgrading is Automatic. It also works very well for the car. I personally believe that if you want your dream car and get it drive until it Falls completely apart with this vehicle you would be driving for Eternity. They need to distribute a new vehicle call Audi Eternity.

Audi Q3 2015 windshield is really a poor quality compare to other and seems like it didnt pass the federal minimum limit and Audi customer service and dealer says out force impact on glass doesnt come under warranty. But the question is if some sand and micro level chips make damage and that also so small sometimes you cant realize seeing normally then where the quality product from Audi, is that duplicate of Audi? Friends be sure that you get the good quality car that values the money you spend not by the brand which I feel now and not only me there are several people who is on the same boat here in this forum ** and other places I am sure.

Horrible experience with Audi Financial! Despite being a loyal Audi customer for years, owned many of their cars and (always paid on time) they treated me so bad. Charged me money after return of a lease (for change of a tire) without properly communicating with us and next I receive a letter from collection agency. And when I call to clarify they mistreated me again on the phone (somebody name Marco...). So disappointed. Dont buy Audi!

My cars appearance is very nice. I got the color that I specified. The dash in my car looks more like black wood. It has a built in CD player, GPS navigation system and digital display. Its so cool and easy to read for mileage and gas. I had pin stripping put on mine. I also got the digital panel and voice activated GPS which I love as Im bad at directions. Its so helpful. You can also add a DVD player inside or internet. Size wise, I wanted more roomy model because I have long legs. My Audi can fit 3 in the front, but that is a little cramped for space and does not leave much legroom. But you can easily fit 3 in the back seat with lots of leg room, and still ride comfortably in the back.

Ive been the owner of several Audi motor cars. I idealize the style and implied quality. I purchased my current car new. 2006 A4 2.0T S-Line. Ive been the only driver. The vehicle has 72K miles and now 10 years old. Its always parked in a garage at home, work and the airport. The point is the car is pristine. I was made aware of a problem that the Audi 2.0T engine was having with certain series of VINs. The years ranges 2005 to 2008. The supplier of the forged metal cam shafts identified a quality defect in the hardening process. There are blogs and details with VIN on the web and some vague messages from Audi confirming the problem and series numbers and warranty extension 10 years or 120k miles. As you might have surmised by now my 2006 A4 2.0T S-Line, broke down on the highway on a Sunday and needed to be towed to my local German Autowerkes shop. Audi was not going to pay for the tow 30 miles away and offered no assurance that the car falls under the extended warranty. I had to get the car repaired and which totaled $5,200. I thought AudiCare would be reasonable and offer some form of assistance. After 2 weeks back and forth with Kimberly a well trained bad news breaker of sorry sucker and thanks for being an Audi customer, she did indicate in guilt that I might have gotten help if I took it to the Audi dealer and pay $2K more. So long story short if you plan on keeping an Audi more than 3 years, dont.

Our family purchased a 2011 Audi A5 with 2.0 T engine. The Timing Chain (Tensioner) failed at 70,000 m. The engine head and pistons (predictably) are wrecked. The car was maintained according to the Audi schedule with the Dealer from whom we purchased the car. All the records are verified by the dealer. The standard warranty is 50,000 m. This engine/car has the Oil Consumption problem that precipitated the Class Action Suit. So, the car was used as designed, maintained as designed, - and it FAILED as designed! The failure is due to lack of lubrication of the Timing tensioner/chain. Something absolutely beyond the consumers control (beyond filling the engine as specified).4/5/15: The car is at the Dealership in Austin Texas - the Dealership says they have talked to Audi and both are trying to escape the manufacturers responsibility to fix the problem. It seems that the only (implied warranty) service to the customer that Audi will deliver is when threatened by a lawsuit (class action suit as prev). In summary: The engine was maintained as required; the car was used as designed; the consumer fulfilled all their responsibilities; the engine (built by a prior-respected engineering company) failed - beyond all control of the consumer within a small portion of the design life of the engine. How is it not Audis responsibility? Get decent Audi! Before another Class action suit gets kicked off.

Just serviced my 2013 A4 at AUDI Santa Monica dealership. Probably the worst experience had with them, they overcharged me by almost $300 (Paid ~$615 while last service was the same and it cost me ~$300, Service Rep claimed that last time workload was less than this time which is not true), been a hectic week for me so had no energy to argue with someone who is probably not responsible. My coolant light sometimes turns on and I have been to that dealership 3 times while car was UNDER WARRANTY to fix this issue and every time I was assured it was fixed and the issue never got fixed. Been regularly servicing my car over there (Have done all required services with Audi) during this period but I was informed that I need to pay an abnormal fee since there is an issue with the coolant pump and parts need to get replaced and it wont be UNDER WARRANTY since it is a new issue which is not the reality (Paperworks proves my statements). Had the same issue with my brakes, no one ever mentioned to me that my brakes have issues (Been following companys guidelines and scheduled maintenance) so now it is going to cost me ~$1K to fix. It is smarter to not go after $300-$1K more for someone who can potentially be your repeat client and make you more money than the change these service departments are after. (I know this since I am a Business Analyst.) Please educate your dealerships on how to run a business. GOODBYE AUDI FOREVER, from now on will take my car to a reputable decent mechanic. Will never also purchase another AUDI in my life.

Originally I had purchased my vehicle at Biener Audi. I purchased an S3 2017 Model. Brand New this vehicle came with approx. 70 miles on it. I found out that they transported it from Audi of Smithtown. I, then proceeded to take it to this location. One of my issues was the hood & the windshield. The hood is cracked (from a pebble most likely states a professional who I had examine it; they touched it up & didnt allow it to dry long enough so it came off.) Audi of Smithtown has no reglect of this happening. Another issue is inside of my vehicle, the main console buttons are sticky-like. After going back and forth with Audi of Smithtown, they agreed to take it off and look if its warranty or not. They will take it off as a courtesy. They state sticky substance is inside. They wont do anything for me. They ordered the part for me but are claiming I have to come out of MY pocket for $970 because they dont deem this as a warranty issue. Are you kidding me? This vehicle came in such horrible condition! My first Audi. To be exact my issues consisted of: Scratched up interior panels. Damaged hood/windshield from transportation. Abnormal creased seats from getting in and out from test drives. My fiancé & I clearly knew that this vehicle had been sitting on a lot for a LONG time. It was so dirty after they finished detailing it. Back bumper deep scratches. Console buttons sticking, rough. Scratched up alternator (cosmetic). Front bumper full of dings (black spots). Dings on headlights/scratched up.Im VERY unhappy and UNSATISFIED with BOTH Audi of Smithtown and Biener Audi. This was the WORST experience Ive ever had. Ive opened up a case with Audi of America (corporate) and theyve stated case has been escalated as high as possible. They wont do anything for me its up to the dealership to make it right. Please save yourself a headache. Dishonest dealerships terrible customer satisfaction. Bieners part: Some people involved were: Patrick ** (sales person). Service Manager (Stephen **). We purchased a new Audi A6 TDI in 2014. We have monitored all the court action but really just been waiting. Recently we took our car to Larson Audi in Fife for some service. The goodwill package that we had received but never activated had expired. When we called Audi to request they reissue it they pretty much told us to get lost. We did not lie, cheat and rip off consumers but they treated us like criminals, it was horrible and embarrassing. This after we had spent nearly an hour on the phone and on hold and listening to all their recorded messages. I would never buy another Audi or Volkswagen product given how poorly we were and are being treated.

Audi Q7 4.2 - I am extremely disappointed with this SUV. Every 24000 miles it needs new brakes and rotors that cost in excess of $1600. I own a 2014 Audi Q7 TDI and was forced to bring my car in for the diesel gate emissions fix. My car is ruined and unsafe to drive! I was promised a slight reduction in power and possible loss of 1-2mpg. I am down 4-5 mpg and over 10 mpg while towing a trailer. Car no longer has any mid-range power so I can no longer tow my trailer safely. Audi/VW deliberately understated the changes resulting from the emissions modifications from the diesel gate scandal. Anyone who owns a diesel VW/Audi resist from enrolling in the fix. It will ruin your car! The fix is a bigger lie than the original diesel scandal! She called me one evening and told me that the engine light came on and the car had slowed down. Luckily, she was 5 minutes from her apartment and close to an auto shop. When she parked the car, all of the oil leaked out. I had to pay for a replacement engine because there was internal damage and a hole in the oil pan. There were NO warning signs before this situation and the Audi dealership had just performed a multi inspection, but found no issues. I am so happy that my daughter was not on the road! I have leased Audis Flagship Sedan A8 in June 2013. The array of different problems ranging from complete replacement of steering system to the faulty MMI screen unit appeared shortly after. Though I was not enthused by these shortcomings, I liked the driving dynamics of the vehicle and enjoyed beautiful warm interior design. The pinnacle of this technological marvel came around 12000 miles. I have noticed a humming noise coming from the tires. I took the car to the local Audi dealership. Upon inspection of the vehicle, the service manager informed me of the following: Audi created the unique size of the tire (265/40/R20) and there are only Pirelli tires available in this size in all-season configuration. All these tires are making humming noise, even a new ones. Therefore he cannot help me. He also stated that many of his customers complain about this problem and he personally dislike Pirelli products. I was left with no choice, but to continue driving and listening to this humming symphony.By 20000 miles the noise became so loud, that it was hard to listen to the radio or talk on the phone without raising my voice. I placed a phone call to Pirelli headquarters who promptly refused to replace their product under the warranty. Taking into consideration that Ive been a loyal Audi customer for 14 years, I decided to write a letter to the executive committee of Audi of North America. I have informed them that they installed a low quality product on their Flagship Sedan and they created the size of the tire which is not available from any other tire manufacturer but Pirelli. Therefore they are equally responsible for this error in judgement. I have received a reply from so called Regional Expert shortly after. The letter was written in a monotonous standard script, which is most likely mailed to all their valued customers. The bottom line of the letter stated that I am a valued member of the Audi family, but I can take my problem somewhere else. Any other correspondence I wrote to Audi of North America in this regard and their main office in Germany was left unanswered. So, I went ahead and replaced noisy Pirelli tires with the same noisy Pirelli tires for the cost of $1300.00 and continue driving and listening to this humming noise, but to a lesser degree, while counting the days until I return this leased vehicle and forget about this nightmare.I want you all to know, if you decide to acquire one of their vehicles and you come up with a problem, which cannot be resolved on the dealership level, do not expect any help from the company no matter how many years you had been a valued member of Audi Family and no matter how much money you had previously spent on their products.

Similar to other reviews, I have experienced the inability of my Audi Q5 to hold its stereo presets. Audi has said that it is an issue with Sirius XM, but I am not seeing the same issue with other makes and models. While radio presets is a small problem compared to say, engine problems, it is that Audi has been nonchalant about a feature not working at all since the time of purchase. It, along with several other service issues in which I had to be the one to get a matter taken care of, shows the lack of accountability on Audi’s part, and will be the reason that I will never purchase another Audi and will actively prevent friends and family from making the same mistake.

Six months after purchasing a 2007 Audi A6 with 57k miles the steering control module required replacement. The cost to fix was $2,600. Because this obviously a result of poor engineering and not a wear and tear issue I wrote a complaint to Audi directly. Their response: We are sorry to learn of your issue however the car is not under warranty (they wont acknowledge the fact that this is a common issue as seen on many Audi forums) and because you did not buy at an Audi dealership and you are not a loyal Audi customer (1st Audi and last) we will not assist with repair. The point of my writing this is that their vehicles are over engineered and repair record and costs are absurd. Oh and dont even try to bring to someone other than an Audi dealership because they cannot work on them. And the dealerships know this full well!!! My 2014 Audi A6 TDI Prestige is an absolutely great car, except for the leather driver’s seat stretching and getting dye transfer from clothing less than 2 months from purchase. While other luxury cars, with light colored interiors, do not suffer from dye transfer - the 2014 Audi does. I consulted independent leather experts that informed me that the aniline leather treatment method (dyes probably from Asia) experience problems. This is not as bad as leather stretching and looking aged/worn after 2 months. The sign of a great company is not that they are 100% problem free, but rather the way that issues are handled. I was looking for a win/win situation after buying 5 new Audis, but rather experienced total frustration with our 5th purchase.Overall, Audi builds a really great car - but, Audi of America customer service is terrible. In our free market economy, the result is Audi is losing a paying customer. Sad and a pity, but dealing with Audi of America has shown my wife and me that they really dont care about after sales customer satisfaction. We are only writing about our experience and resultant decision to not buy Audi products in the future. Audi A4 A 4.2 TDI Registration No. ** Dated 04/07/2012. Within 9 to 10 months of delivery started experiencing following problems: 1. From exhaust pipe emission of heavy smoking and some sparks. This problem was attended by Audi workshop at CST Kalina. While submitting car for above repairs also verbally report slight vibration & rubbing noises while driving. However, later part of the report was not record as the test drive inside workshop failed to reveal any problem with steering. Car was handed after dealing with exhausted Pipe smoke emission.2. Eventually after some time while taking out car from our Garage the cars steering system completely ceased and started giving indication that car steering system has failed. The car was collected by Workshop for repairs. However, we were dis-satisfied with to see such high end car having such major problems within 10 months of service. After much deliberation we were given a brand Audi A4 car without any charges. This gesture of Audi is much appreciated.3. New Audi A4 14th June, 2013 Registration No. **. Now we have started facing following problem again.A. Vibration of steering & rubbing sound while driving this was report to the CST Kalina workshop representative but the test drive inside workshop did not reveal any defect with steering. However, on my insistence to verify if the vibration was not coming or not drive the car 30-40 kms as same was not happening continuously. Repair representative agreed to my suggestion and car was left in the workshop. Later it was reported to me that they did find for short while steering vibrating & rubbing noises while driving for longer time.Workshop representative informed me the shaft is defective and same has to be changed. I was informed it will take one week to get spare shaft. Eventually it took three weeks to get the shaft and replace same. During this time no car was given to me to help me out to my day to day work. Whereas while purchasing Audi car we promised while the car is taken for service we will be provided service, we will given a car free of any charges. Now there is no vibration or rubbing noises. But the point remains why such high end car should have such problem with my 2nd car as well. This raises question is there Deficiency in Quality Control or some inherent manufacturing defect. As I have Extend Warranty the renewal of shaft was done under warranty but the point remain why I am experiencing such serious problem once again. Warranty will get over by June, 2017. What happens next if after warranty steering fails once again?By this mail I put on notice Audi India and I would to reserve the right for car to be repaired free of any charges if above mentioned major failure of steering happen sometime in future. I feel quality control is very poor as following problems will indicate: A. Cars locks failing (not operating) and for overhauling I was charged although no parts were changed. Why when the car is still under warranty? Locks failed to operate again within a week after overhauling.B. Car door mirror switch breaking and charged in spite of car under warranty. My last Car was Toyota Corolla which was with me for over seven years and never faced any of above mentioned problem whereas Audi with such good reputation giving so much problem. I doubt their Quality Control slackness and very poor manufacturing control. With this I am putting Audi India on notice for serious steering defect existing in their A4 Model.

I bought Audi A4, 2008 model sportline from a dealer in Jordan. After one month, I found that there is a major problem in the engine. I went to the dealer in Jordan who said that he cant repair the engine and he dont have any spare parts for the engine. The dealer policy is to replace the engine which cost about $16,250.00. We tried to find the spare parts from the local market but we cant so our car is stopped since three weeks. I dont know how people can buy Audi car while the dealer cant provide good service and spare parts. Actually, we pay $37,000.00 for such car but we cant use it because the dealer service is very bad. Purchased 2006 A4 used in March of 2007 with 8,000 miles. Two weeks after purchase, stranded, due to bad coils. The car is towed and repaired under warranty. One month later coils fail again - Im stranded again. Car is towed and repaired. After that the car is excellent mechanically for about 75,000 miles of meticulous, by the book maintenance by an outstanding independent Audi shop. Replaced plastic center console glove box latch twice. I finally improvised with velcro. Cmon Audi cheap, fragile, plastic latch on a 30K car! The Check Engine remained lit from 10,000 miles on. The dealer and Audi shop would diagnose every tune-up and oil change but the light would come back after 10 miles or so. At 60,000 control module for auto door lock and alarm failed - quoted $525.00 repair. I decide to manually lock and unlock driver door. All other doors locked properly but the alarm would not set without manually locking the driver door. 110,000 mile driver side power window actuator, $350.00. 115,000 oil sensor/plug $690.00. Next rear fuel pump located in gas tank, $800.00. Now the car is dead from camshaft failure at 135,000 miles. The dealer quote is $11,200.00. Ive driven many makes in 40 years of car ownership: GM, Honda, Acura, Lexus, BMW. None have left me stranded by the roadside. Acura, Lexus and Bimmer easily exceeded 150,000 miles. Im headed back to Acura or Lexus after I figure out how to dispose of the Audi A4 occupying a space in my garage.

Yes. Hello! I purchased an Audi 5 Quattro in August. Recently, I was ready to turn my vehicle on when I was terrified by a loud banging on the glass. I screamed, thinking someone was trying to break into the car. I called Audis national line, and was told that they knew of no such incidents. I called my dealer, who said it had had a couple of like reports, but no breakage. The dealer just called back to say it would need the car through the weekend to loosen and lower the moon roof, as that was Audis international fix, and, indeed, breakage has occurred on some vehicles. I love my car, but I am very concerned, as I bought the car, specifically, to safely transport my granddaughter. Should I be assured by the fix? Will it compromise my vehicle? Where is Audis recall? I am seeking a proactive v. reactive response. Thank you!

In 2014 I had purchased a 2006 Audi A3 with 30,000 miles, with a clean title. It was great for the first year or so and once it hit 60,000 miles, I had absolutely nothing but problems. Around 60,000 miles, I was on the expressway, and my car started to jolt back and forth, that ended up being because the fuel rail sensor went bad. A couple thousand miles later, my alternator goes bad, without any warning, leaving me stranded. Shortly thereafter, I was on my way to class and I had a severe cylinder misfire. Mind you, this is all within less than a years time. After all of those issues were fixed, I thought everything that could have possibly broken was fixed. Next thing you know, my A/C is now only blowing cold air when Im going 80 MPH down the expressway and blowing hot air when its idling or going slower than 80. I also got my car scanned to see why the check engine light turned on again, and it turns out that I have another two cylinder misfires and my fuel pump is going bad. This car only has 70,000 miles on it and has had more problems than I ever imagined. I am beyond disappointed in Audi and the quality of their vehicles and how unreliable they are. I will most definitely not be purchasing another Audi or any German car for that matter.

Purchased 2009 Audi from Jack Daniels Audi in Upper Saddle Rive NJ about 2
Purchased 2009 Audi from Jack Daniels Audi in Upper Saddle Rive NJ about 2 years ago. Disrespect and deception seem to be the norm at this dealer, and I was soon to find out with Audi USA also. The car broke down within the first weeks of ownership. I was on my way to IL from NJ when it just died in PA. I called the dealer and they were no help saying call Audi USA. I informed the dealer I need a rental car to get home for work. Long story short, it took NJ consumer affairs action to get reimbursed. The car was eventually picked up, at my expense, and driven to IL. The car burned oil at a rate of 1 qt per 750 miles. Sometimes more. I informed the Audi dealer, they stated all Audis burn oil. It was unimaginable, this is how the car was designed. I was finally told by the dealer that a oil fix was available, and after 3 attempts, they said it was done. On attempt 4 I was told drive 100 miles and bring it back, didnt make 100 miles, and broke down on the side of the road. I was told the timing chain was no good and needed replacement, then I dont hear from the dealer for weeks. Dealer called 2 weeks later, saying rings, pistons and values need replacement, FOR EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION! 2 more weeks and I get a call from Audi USA that they WILL NOT ship the car to me in California. The car is in IL, ruined my familys vacation, and now its stuck there. Audi has even now backed out of their offer to make a deal on a new Audi even though I will NEVER buy another Audi. The car is junk, bad dealers, and horrible customer service.
