2023 Infiniti QX55 Battles BMW X4 With More Safety
[BACK]

Posted On: June 28, 2022
If you're in the market for a small luxury crossover with a coupe-like roofline, your options include the Audi Q5 Sportback, BMW X4, and the 2023 Infiniti QX55. The latter arrived on the market last year as a more stylish version of the conventional QX50 SUV, so we didn't expect any major overhauls for the 2023 model. As predicted, the 2023 QX55 rolls in with subtle changes, including new standard comfort and convenience features. Some of the smaller, less notable changes include standard auto-folding heated mirrors, blind spot intervention, four-way driver power lumbar, LED welcome lighting in the rear door handles, and a USB-C port in the rear seats. None of these changes would make us reconsider our opinion of the QX55, but the addition of ProPilot Assist across all trim levels is a significant improvement. ProPilot Assist combines adaptive cruise control with steering assist to create a comprehensive Level 2 semi-autonomous driving system. Drivers can use ProPilot in single-lane highway driving or in stop-and-go traffic. All three QX55 trims, the Luxe, Essential, and Sensory now get ProPilot as standard equipment, whereas last year's model required an upgrade to the Essential model. Speaking of the Essential, it also gains Traffic Sign Recognition and an adaptive front lighting system that was previously locked to a ProAssist Package. Unfortunately, these additional safety features don't come for free. The QX55 Luxe starts at $49,150, a significant price increase from the 2022 model's $46,500 starting MSRP. Stepping up to the Essential costs $54,250, up from $51,600 in 2022. The top Sensory grade, which adds a heated second row and four-way passenger lumbar adjustment, now costs $57,800, a small increase over the 2022 model ($57,050). Every QX55 model still uses the same 2.0-liter Variable Compression turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel-drive comes standard on the QX55, sending power out through a continuously variable transmission. Deliveries of the 2023 Infiniti QX55 start this summer, with every model coming equipped with Infiniti Premium Care, an integrated maintenance program that includes inspections, oil changes and tire rotations. These changes likely won't move the sales needle much for Infiniti, but rumors of an updated QX80 flagship that isn't just a Nissan Armada with more leather could garner more excitement.

The worst car I ever owned. I bought it brand new. It has less than 25,000 miles on it 2 years later. I have gotten stuck on the road 4 or 5 times with electrical problems (not just the battery). I also got stuck with a flat tire and found out for the first time that this $45,000 lemon did not come with a spare tire. Roadside assistance is a joke. 20 minutes worth of robot menus, another hold for a real person who asks the same questions, and then between 45 minutes to an hour before anyone actually shows and tows the car to the dealer. How do you get home? Your problem. The service department dealer, Manhasset Infiniti, manages to find a $600-$1,000 non-warranty item every time the car is brought in for routine service or a warrantied repair. Everyone is very nice and gives the appearance of being accommodating. But the bottom line is that they are handling you, not your problem.

There are so many car by Infiniti but I chose to buy g35x which is a luxury and sport all in one. This car also is a very reliable car. It is new, unique and fabulous and it has all the feature I was looking for like the heated seats and the stereo system and the pick up of the car.

So I bought a 99 Infiniti G20 with only 80,000 miles on it. I knew it needed TLC however, I had no idea the manufacturers decided to no longer make important safety parts and the dealers offered no choices other than go to a junkyard. Any intelligent person knows some things you shouldnt ever purchase secondhand!!! I was going to buy a newer one when my son graduated HS however, I no longer want anything to do with this vehicle. I have found few and far aftermarket items. I cant believe an axle assy more specifically the kingpin bearing is nowhere to be found. I AM AT A LOSS FOR BOTH ME AND MY CUSTOMERS ATM!

I will never ever purchase Infiniti again. QX60 2014. The car jerks even after they replaced the transmission. I wish I can have one of the reviewer’s lawyer number so I can get the money back.

Well, I guess I am not alone. When it comes to Infiniti, I echo the same problems being mentioned on this site (a/c and radio will not turn off) and many others. I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 with only 45K miles and I have to deal with this. I take care of my car but I now have to worry about what else is going to happen to it. Needless to say, it is not going to get fixed. I dont have the money to fix their ** ups. So if anything else goes wrong, I will just drive it until it falls apart. I will never buy Infiniti again, never. I will tell anyone that listens not to buy it. So, lets facebook this one to death, maybe they will listen.

I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan V6. The air system is stuck on auto and my audio (radio) and rear defroster no longer works. I have no control whatsoever on the entire air system. The problems started in 2009, as I lost control off, and on until about six months ago when everything went dead. I had recall work done on the audio circuit board in 2003 and now that Infiniti dealership in Guelph told me that it is the same part which is at fault. This diagnosis cost me 57 dollars. I called the Woodchester dealership in Mississauga that did the original warranty work and they told me that they no longer will back their work because the Voluntary Service Campaign Audio Finisher Circuit Board recall is over with. This is a total scam that Nissan has managed to sidestep even though they issued a recall. They replaced my part, all right, but this same part was again faulty and an obvious health and safety concern exists here. As far as I am concerned, they should once again replace this faulty part since they probably replaced it with a new one that again is faulty. How can I possibly drive this car when no front windshield air or rear defrost exists especially with winter fast approaching. The least they can do is pay for the part again since the dealership wants to charge me approximately 1700 dollars to replace both the circuit board and the radio. If I dont get satisfaction out of this I will never buy a Nissan vehicle again. There are so many people complaining about this. It is pretty laughable that no one from the government has forced the issue. I guess that will be my next step. Whats your move Nissan? Are you gonna take the responsibility for the vehicle you made or are you gonna wait till someone gets killed because they cant see the road while they are driving?

It has been nearly 2 months since I have paid off my auto loan with Infiniti on a 2008 G37S, and they have not sent me my title. I have called and called, and no one has a clue: (a) where the title is, (b) when I can expect to receive it, and (c) what the problem is. They are completely inept. Everyone I talk to tells me something different. One person told me that I overpaid (the payoff amount I was given) by $650, and that they would mail me a refund check. I have not received that either. The reason why I paid off my loan early was because I needed to sell my car since I was moving to Alaska. The person I sold the car to has had it for 2 months without me being able to provide them with a title. No one at IFS cares. Every time I call, they are trying to get off the phone with me from the beginning because they do not have an answer. I have asked to speak with a supervisor and they tell me this is not possible. So what do I do? Sue them? How can I make them give me the title to the car I bought from them? They cant get any more money out of me so they have absolutely no motivation to uphold their end of the contract and send me MY title.

I have a 2005 Infiniti FX35 with constant brake problems, a bubbled dashboard and a driver’s seat that just split in 3 different areas. Ive contacted Infiniti’s consumer affairs only to be told that excessive weight on the seat is the reason it split. What?! I weigh 115 pounds - that is not possible. I am in the process of compiling information and examples of other owners who have the same problems. I am writing a letter to my states attorney general and also to the Better Business Bureau. I dont have the finances to keep replacing brakes every 6 months and the $3,000 just for the material to replace my seat.

I am the sad owner of a 2003 Infiniti FX35. I have had so many problems with the car and I will never ever even consider buying another Nissan product. My problems consisted of a non-working gas gauge, a CD player that skipped like crazy from the start of my ownership, replaced both front end wheel bearings, replaced the brakes twice and now the final overheating. No one including Infiniti of Orland Park who charged me $700.00 for a new after market radiator can figure out the problem. After a diagnostic, technician from Infiniti of Orland Park, IL; said, I need a radiator. I was told an Infiniti radiator would cost me $1200.00 but they can replace my defective one with an after market radiator for only $750.00. I elected to have them replace the radiator with the after market one. After their Technician replaced the (defective?) radiator with the new after market radiator, I received a call from their service writer and he said that the car was still overheating and blowing out cold air.I was told by Infiniti of Orland Park Pros that it would take at least 5 hours of additional labor to figure out the problem. In other words, the attitude was come in and pay us $750.00 for nothing and get your FX35 Infiniti out of here. He also suggested the cars life was over due to the 130,000 miles I had on it.In the mean time I have been driving my beater (183,000 Mile) Ford Expedition that I was forced to buy so that I had a car while 3 auto shops are trying to figure out whats wrong with my very expensive FX35 with the 130,000 miles on it. I am a Sales Trainer for a major Mattress Company and travel throughout the USA educating large groups of Sales Associates. There is not one class that I do not tell this story to. I am and will warn everyone I ever speak to about Infiniti and tell them to never buy or even suggest one to their worst enemy.

Brought my car in for regular maintenance, was told airbag switch (OCS) needs replacing - $4,100. Airbags will not function. Told the entire front passenger seat would be replaced. No other means of repair. NHTSA issued recall 7/8/08 for this exact item. My cars make, model and year ARE listed on the NHSTA website as being covered. Infiniti Corp tells me it is NOT covered. Issue elevated to Eric ** in Infiniti Consumer Affairs Dep’t who refused any kind of assistance because car is out of warranty - ignoring the NHTSA campaign entirely. Mr. ** refuses to even discuss why NHTSA would include my car in the campaign but Infiniti does not. They will not do the repair at cost, or at a reduced price, or give it any further consideration whatsoever. Car has been meticulously maintained and all required services completed throughout life of my 2008 EX35 Journey. Took four days for Infiniti Consumer Affairs to make a decision, while dealership hassled me to return loaner car before the matter was handled by Corporate. Worst Customer Service Ever.

Its also roomy for front and back seat passengers.

My husbands QX80 died, couldnt be started, couldnt be jumped (by a tow truck). It was towed to the local dealership. Consumer affairs (another sham) says that something is wrong with the computer and it will be $2700 to fix. This car is a 2015 and under manufacturers warranty and we purchased an extended warranty. Infiniti does not stand behind its cars or its warranty! Buyer beware! I will never purchase another Infiniti again based on this experience!

For those of you that have the dreaded bubbling dash there is good news. Infiniti issued a recall on the dash problem to be repaired at no expense to the owner. I had an 07 fx35 and the dash bubbled in 2010. Had it replaced and received a warranty for 85000 miles or 8 years. The drivers seat tearing is another issue. They will not fix that, nor will they fix the power seat gear issue.

I bought a brand new 2018 Q50. Within the year I have had several problems with the tires. The tire pressure warning is always coming on. I put air in the tires and a few weeks later the same warning comes back on. This has happened to me several times. A few weeks ago I got a flat tire while driving and had to have my car towed to the Infiniti dealer because much to my surprise my brand new Infiniti did not come with a spare tire! No one told me this when I purchased the car. After spending $415 for a new tire and wheel alignment, I now have another tire with a bulge in it. I asked Infiniti to give me a new tire without charge and was told that they can’t help me and suggested I go to the manufacturer. I informed them that being that they could not help me I would not be a repeat customer and I was told that that was OK with them???

Having worked on and been a part of numerous Infiniti car company dealerships over the last 15 yrs, and now finally owning one of their products, its come to my attention that their brand quality is largely compromised. My situation is as follows. Having a late model Infiniti that was bought used, I concluded nothing is perfect and things would need to be fixed. However, I have never owned a vehicle with a melting dashboard. Having fixed numerous dashboards over the years for Infiniti on the FX models in 2009 to 2011, it had occurred to me that there are many other models with the same problem all the way up until 2012. The dash will crack and ultimately degrade to the point where it is unable to be cleaned/touched or even looked it through the window due to high amounts of glare it produces when driving (melting area becomes very shiny) understood the vehicle is out of warranty, but Infiniti has no remedy or cause for concern to fix these problem cars dashboards. I know there are plenty out there too. No wonder Lexus is the company to be.

Just purchased 2005 FX35 in 2017, after registration I called Infiniti regarding the bubbles melted cracked botched up dashboard. The name infiniti is definitely not standing behind its word. This is terrible on their rep. I cant help what the previous owner didnt do but I need this eyesore fixed. I seen a Michigan claim with only approx 300 people. Its wayyy more people with botched up dashboards in my city alone. I need help. Looks like a kids ** came up with this hook for the dash.

I purchased a 05 QX56 3 years ago and know I have nothing but problems my brakes go out while Im driving, I have to pull over and turn off truck and turn it back on, my lights turn on and off when the light switch is off, and my dashboard lights turn on... I found out my IPDM module is not working. My window motor does not work, my rear window hatch went out. My 3rd brake light stopped working. And my memory seat does not work. My cruise control stopped working. Went to Infiniti and Nissan. All they do is give me the runaround!!!

Got this JX35 in November of 2013 and have had the following issues with less than 30k miles on the car. Door molding was falling off so it was replaced as the plastic was bowed. Both sun visors fell down and were replaced with new ones. Roof rail seals came out and when I asked the dealer to pop it back in, they told me the whole rail had to be replaced. The instrument cluster and dashboard shut down and restart while driving. And it is very noticeable at night or early morning as I have no gauges to follow in the dark. So the navigation computer was replaced but has not resolved the issue yet and the dealer doesnt know what to do with it. The transmission was very sluggish and when I asked the dealer to check I got a call that it has to be replaced and it was. Now, 5k miles later its doing it again. There have been a couple of recalls in the middle, with recalls on the recalls as the service adviser put it, so they have replaced a bunch of door latches on the car again and again. The latest one is my key. Neither key will work, so I cannot get in the car using the key-less feature and I have a very hard time starting the car even when I hold the key near the start button. The GM at the dealer claims they have informed Infiniti Corporation and I have been waiting for a response for 9 months now! In summation, if I can get in the car and get it started, I may get stuck on the road in the middle of the night with a broken transmission while not knowing where I am or which way to go because all of my instruments have stopped working. Other drivers wont help because the pieces falling off my car has damaged their car and they are angry. At this point, Infiniti is jeopardizing my life and life of others around me very frequently and without remorse. I guessing this will qualify as a lemon but have to check with a lawyer!

On Sept. 2010, both headlights went out as we were driving home at night. We had to drive over one hour with high beams. As there is no Infinite Dealership close to us and the car was out of warranty, we took the car to a Nissan Dealership that has a Infinite Certified Mechanic. We found that we had to replace the whole bucket system which costs over $4000.00 for the headlights! We had it repaired and now one year and one month later, we had another headlight go out and we are looking at an estimated $1500 more for HEADLIGHTS. We called customer service and was treated unreasonably and with no help. No one should have to put out this kind of money for an Infinite M35 (2006) 70,000 miles. Rosa was the unfriendly so-called customer service agent we dealt with. We have to believe that Infinite has had issues with headlights and others have been burned with this kind of repair costs.

I purchased an Infiniti December 1, 2018 from Hanania Infiniti in Orange Park, Florida off of Blanding Road. This experience has not been one that I expected from a luxury vehicle company. Since possessing the car on Dec. 1, 2018 I made three bi-weekly payments to my credit union for my trade (a 2017 Acura ILX that was supposed to be paid off as part of the sale). Unfortunately, as previously stated I continued to make four payments via automatic withdrawal from my credit union on the following dates 1/4/19, 12/21/19, 12/7/19. I received a bill from Infiniti with a due date of January 1. Since my prior vehicles loan was not paid off until January 10, 2019 I do not have the funds to pay a January 1 car note because I can not afford to pay on two vehicles. A new payoff should have been requested if the prior was not paid off in a more timely manner. Interest continued to accrue through my bank on the loan which resulted in me only receiving back $414 although I made 3 payments. I am looking for some type of help with Infiniti lease corporation with late fees and possibly pushing my due date back because of this issue. The next payment will be due February 1 in which I am now in a hardship because of the FULL and a half month payment on my previous vehicle. In addition, this overall experience has not been pleasant. I met with John **, finance manager January 5, he told me the check was already received by my bank and he would send me confirmation of it. I never received a confirmation nor did I hear back from him. Similarly, the day after I left with the vehicle I had questions about the insurance document. It was not explained to me other than to sign so I called him and left messages for him numerous times at the dealership. He did not return my calls so I texted the sales rep Alex, who advised me that insurance is my problem not theirs although I had not explained my question or concern. Not only that but the brand new 2019 vehicle was not showroom ready for me to drive off of the lot. The car had and still has scratches and all sorts of marks on it. I asked for a car wash on the Saturday I met with Mr. ** but it was raining and he suggested to bring it back. My concern is there was no urgency, I would have expected for him to try to right the wrongs by scheduling an appointment for me to have my car washed and for sure sending the confirmation or make a follow up call to let me know that the payment was not sent to my bank yet. I was shocked and appalled. It certainly appears as if Infiniti is only concerned about making a sale then after the sale the customer is obsolete. As I stated, previously, I need help to ensure my credit rating does not get impacted, payment due date adjustments and late fees or something to right these wrongs.

I have purchased 2 Infiniti Qx56 SUVs brand new. My current 2012 has been in the shop over 10x with the same problem. The dealership explains the problem to me and how this is unique. Each time the cause is something different when they document it and check you out. Now the truck is out of warranty and it will be my responsibility if it happens again. Trust me when I say, It will happen again. Being stranded and having to be without my own vehicle for days. One time it was in the shop for 21 days, they claimed they were waiting for a part from overseas. I did contact Infiniti corporate office and they refused to do anything. I had bizarre electrical problems with my first Infiniti QX56 as well. I had it in the shop multiple times and no one could ever figure that unique problem out either. I purchased my second one because it was the new body style and it was very spacious. The sales team was very sligh about and claiming it was all revamped and no issues reported. They do have a good looking vehicle but I will never never again buy an Infiniti. For the price ($80,000) you would expect more. They are not trained in customer satisfaction, quality or customers service.

I am a third time Infiniti buyer and third time was not the charm. My car has been in the shop 5 times in the first 14 months of ownership for brake noise. Noise which is loud enough to be heard inside the house when I enter or exit the driveway. Excuse after excuse from the dealer with no real resolution. First, it was a pin, then a hose and now a spring. I have to fight to get them to reproduce every single time. Ive been told they squeak when theyre cold then they squeak when theyre hot and finally its not a safe issue. When I opened a case with customer service, what a joke. I called 4 times now, twice spoke to the rep and twice left messages. Not a single thing done as a result of my case being opened. The quality of the interior is awful. Leather seats cracking after just a year, silver trim nicks with the slightest pressure. Every silver panel on my car has dents and scratches - looks terrible. The dealer replaced one of them as goodwill and a day later, there were already two nicks on it. The new panel is worse than the old one. I am very frustrated, I wish I had never bought this car. Buyers, beware.

2006 Infiniti stalled on highway. No power steering No power brakes. I barely just missed getting into a serious accident... got the car to the breakdown lane. The most horrifying experience. Infiniti will not fix this problem. Infiniti stinks!

Breach of Warranty problem - Bought a 2014 QX60. After the 2g to 3g upgrade by AT&T for the Infiniti Connection we had problems for months. http://www.lemonlaw.com/pa-lemon-law.html. Contacted these people. They got it solved.

Ive owned my QX60 for less than three months and after less than 3k miles the bottom portion of the drivers seat no longer heats or cools, however, the back part does. I took it for warranty work to the Infiniti dealership in Silver Spring, MD and they told me that the seat immediately worked for them which I know is a lie because amazingly it didnt work after I got back in the car. They said they hooked it up to the computer and the computer showed it was working properly, however, they never showed me the computer results nor did they show me that the seat worked. In addition to the seat not working properly the rear windshield sprayer was clogged and they blamed it on the dealership who sold it to me. They unclogged it, but it still doesnt spray, it just shoots out washer fluid. Buying this vehicle was a waste of my money and I shouldve known better than to purchase another Nissan product considering I owned an Altima several years ago and the alternator went bad with only 30k miles. In addition, the CD player in the Altima would jam anytime a CD with a paper label on it was put in it. They replaced the CD changed once, but the 2nd time it happened it was out of warranty and they wouldnt replace it. Based on that I should never have purchased another Nissan product and I wont ever again. The only reason I didnt purchase an MDX is because it cost several thousand more, but it wouldve been worth paying the extra thousands because thats probably what Ill spend on the QX60 after the warranty is up.

Have a 2006 G35 Coupe. Garage kept beautiful car. Recently the entire dashboard has a crack from end to end. Finding out now that this has been a problem with Infiniti and yet they will have nothing to do with it. Has a class action suit been filed?

I have had an issue with my lease. I went to INFINITI OF RIVERSIDE and the car salesman was Tahir **. The salesman was completely dishonest and did not do anything he promised to do. I inquired about a lease since my lease was coming to an end. He continued to text me the same day and insisted I go in that very day in order to get a deal. Upon going in to look at the cars I told him I would like to return after speaking with my prior leasing company to make sure that I had all my numbers in order. I told him that I usually go with a Broker and he insisted that he was also a broker and that he can get the same deals. I then told him I was not looking to put any money down at the moment that why I didnt want to get the car that very day. He insisted we go on a test drive and we did. I didnt like vehicles color so I insisted I would come back later. He then told me that if we leased the car that day that Infiniti would take care of all the remaining payments, damage fees, and disposition fees. It sounded good but I still had a budget I wanted to stay under. The budget was that of 400.00. He then said that if we got it that day he would be able to do everything, take my old car that day and that he would take care of everything to return it, pay any fees, and I wouldnt have to worry about anything. All he said was that he would need a down payment in order to make the deal. Originally not wanting a down payment I figured if everything was going to be taken care of then it wasnt a bad deal for a 2 year lease. So I decided to try out Infiniti and so far it has been a horrible experience! He told me I could only get a 3 year lease, then he said for the down payment I would have to write out a blank check for 1,600 as the down payment. He never called Lexus to make sure they came to check the car I had to do that. I have been having to deal with Lexus since not everything has been paid off! So now I still owe Lexus upwards of $600 and I have a higher payment on my Infiniti lease because it was going to be a little higher in order to cover any cost. This is the worst car buying experience I have ever experienced and will be glad to return this car and never do business with a shady company like this! I have tried contacting Ali and all he said was that I should take car of it on my own now. And he stopped responding to me.

Upon purchase of our new JX35, wipers did not work day of purchase. Drove home from dinner in rain w/o wipers. Car was then recalled for a rotor problem. Then on Oct. 20, 2013 at 10 months with under 5,000 miles, the entire dash went blank. Our connected cell phone heated up and we drove home because we were leaving for two weeks to CA. When we returned, we called the dealer because our new car was dead! A tow truck took the car to the dealership on 11/5/2013. We were told it would take 2 days to get a part and repair. Now, Nov. 10, 2013 and still no sign of when the new 2013 JX35 will be repaired. We no longer trust the car since we believe all the electronics and wiring received extensive damage in the electrical malfunction. We have requested a buy back by Infiniti to trade for a new Infiniti. We do not know if anyone else has had any similar electrical problems. We had serviced this car at Infiniti in July for regular maintenance and had not used the auto much since that service! We are awaiting confirmation from Infiniti that they will swap the defective lemon JX35 for a new vehicle!!! We feel this should have been resolved with the dealer long before now!!

I purchased a 2006 G35X in February 2012 with minimum miles on it. In October I noticed that my car would blow white smoke occasionally when I cranked up, and it was using a lot of oil in between oil changes. I took the vehicle to the Infiniti dealership for service and I was told by the service consultant that they had to do an oil consumption test before they could do anything else. She never contacted my warranty company about the oil consumption test, so for 5 months they continued to put oil in my car without trying to determine what the real problem was. What the service consultant failed to tell me was that the car had previously been in for the same problem and that they already knew what the problem was.I dropped my car off on March 19th to finally get the repairs done. For 2 weeks they held my car and did nothing to it. I called that Friday to get an update on what was going on and I instantly started getting the run around. Every time I called to get an update, either she was not in or they had not torn my car down or the adjuster had not come to inspect the car. I contacted my warranty company and they said they had emailed the consultant so I called her back and she said she didnt get the email. After some research the email mysteriously appeared. The warranty company denied my claim because of the pictures that the service consultant emailed to them. She told me one thing was wrong with my car, but told the warranty company something else. In the process of trying to extract thousands of dollars out of my pocket, the Infiniti dealership dismantled my entire car. There was nothing left intact but the body. I have been around cars my entire life, even worked on cars before. I have never seen anyone dismantle a whole car just to say that the valves were gummed up. They then wanted to charge me $2500.00 to put the car back together without fixing it. I contacted the dealership where I bought the vehicle and they stepped in and offered to pay for the repairs as a gesture of goodwill. They asked the Infiniti dealership how much it would cost to fix what was wrong and put the car back together and the service consultant told them that the only thing they (Infiniti) would do was put another motor in the car, even though as a customer I said I only wanted the problem fixed and the car put back together. I had to have my car towed away from the dealership which they charged $1300.00 for. It took two trips for the two truck to get my whole car to another facility for repairs. The attached pictures show in detail the condition of my car when it left the Infiniti dealership. The parts were not boxed up. They were just put on the back of a tow truck and dropped off at another facility.I will never take my vehicle to the Infiniti dealership for service ever again. They are in the business of ripping customers off and then lying about it. They have deceptive business practices at the Infiniti of Memphis dealership.

I have a 2005 FX35 and it is out of warranty. There are bubbles that appeared within the last 6 month in my dashboard that look unsightly. I do not eat in my car and do not use any air freshener and do nothing else that could have caused this problem. My car is a luxury car. Corporate has called me back and told me that there is nothing they can do about this because it is out of warranty. I am rather upset because this part of my car should have held up better. As of now, I would never buy another Infiniti based on the response from this corporate representative.

I purchased a 2015 Q40. 4 months into the car I hit a pothole and my air bag deploys. I spoke to their corporate office and apparently a pothole can make your airbags deploy. I had to come out of pocket to get the car fixed. They did not want to help me with anything. No rental, no loaner car. My car has no cosmetic damage on the body. 3 weeks after the incident after I file a second complaint they ask if they can inspect the car. Their customer service throughout the entire time was horrible, they were rude every time. I will never again deal with Infiniti/Nissan. They sell you crap and expect you to just suck it up.

We paid for a wear and tear protection package with our lease at the Fort Lauderdale Infiniti Center. Now they are closed and Infiniti USA wont honor it and wants to charge us twice for that. Buy Toyota. We never had problems with Toyota.

I love our Infiniti. Its very spacious and it has enough seats for a lot of people when we go out of town, so we dont have to take two vehicles. It has a navigation, touch screen and back screen so we can watch a movie. It looks like a newer model compared to other cars that are the same year. Plus, its good on gas. Sometimes, however, its hard to park and maneuver since its too big. Its also scary to drive because I feel like Im gonna hit the cars next to me.
One thing I have expectation is quality customer service. Cochran Infiniti
One thing I have expectation is quality customer service. Cochran Infiniti has the idea that get them in get them dont pass on information that a customer could use or want. For instance I found that I was supposed to be enrolled in the portal. I wasnt. In fact the salesman was a yes man while you are there and screw you once you are gone. The Certified vehicle should not have been. I was told by the salesman things like the wheels would be fixed (rim scrapped). He lied the ashtray was going to be fixed and ready as well as the floor mats when I come in for my first service. The salesman lied, the object was to get me out the door, fast. In fact I pointed out the body punch also ignored. The culture at Cochran is not of quality but of getting sales at all cost. Tried to create an account on the customer portal after I found it existed. Unfortunately that was a waste of time. It refused to recognize my VIN and twice was rebuked by customer service. One person even told me I had to provide proof by uploading insurance documentation and registration as proof to the customer portal which I had to access to and wanted their help to create. They said not without proof. So Infiniti refused to recognize me as the owner of the Q50 of a vehicle bought at a dealer for new Infinitis which was supposed to be certified. Bought this vehicle in August. Its May 1. Infiniti has no chain of command and is not proactive and not quick to react if ever.

I purchased my I35 new in 2002 and now have 120,000 miles. It is a great car with no repairs -- maintenance only and my mechanic suggests I can get 100,000 more miles. No rust.

Paint clearly was defective and started showing and cracking in few spots just about the 4th year. Wrote to them to get someone to check it out... It took a while for a supervisor NOT to bother but to call and deny the coverage. I read that paint DEFECT is well beyond the basic warranty, however, even after my calls, anyone bothered to have me take it to a dealer to look at, although a dealer I service the car at, advised to call them originally as he was sure it would be corrected! Should have bought my son a Kia or Hyundai!!!!!

Michelle at Consumer Affairs is the most ineffective, rude person I have ever dealt with in a customer service position. Infiniti made many mistakes in the sale of my vehicle which ended up causing damage to the vehicle and they have yet to repair the damage and be responsible for the added expenses to me. I will definitely never be buying another Infiniti. A car is only as good as the company that makes it. It was a very disappointing experience!

The I30, four-door model with leather and good sound system is a mid-level of the brand but it has good workmanship in construction. Its an older model, so design was outdated to more current models. But its attractive and functional design. It also has well-rounded lines with functional interior amenities, controls and easily accessible. Since this was a basic model, it did not contain a lot of bells and whistles. The sunroof was a nice feature and worked well. A larger engine was not needed as the model performed well. The car is listed as seating for five, which was correct, but rear seat leg room was limited. The front passenger compartment was quite narrow for leg room.

I have owned an Infiniti 2004 Q45 with 62K miles that has been garaged most of the time. I intended keeping this vehicle as a collectors item. I also own another vehicle, so it has not been my main transport. Unfortunately, the vinyl around the sides of the drive seat has started to tear on its own. On inspection, the quality of the vinyl is very poor. What a disappointment for a car costing 64K. I will never buy another Infiniti product.

Consumer Affairs is a complete joke. My 2019 Q50 Red Sport has never drove straight which was bought with 49 miles on it and addressed 4 days later but was told its road crown then set up to drive this way then educated guess of bent strut and has had 3 sets of tires now. They dont acknowledge independent shops service records only the dealerships. They claim I was in a collision causing this damage however there is no evidence of it and they cant acknowledge defects. They said for months I had a bent strut when several of my own inspections said lower control arm has play.Dealership still tried claiming this part was fine and didnt see the grease seeping out of the bushing or the high pressure fuel lines leaking. Following day they magically acknowledge the lower control arm needs replaced due to the bushing. Exactly what my service records pointed to 7 months earlier. Dont trust Consumer Affairs or manufacturer dealerships. Wow guess my mechanics were right. So now they try blaming it on collision and road damage. Im paying for all repairs out of pocket and getting rid of the car that has too many problems. Dealerships cant diagnose issues properly but can break a engine cover lol.

I had a JX35 (QX60), one of my worst car ever. First this SUV drive was very poor. The car HP was too weak. It drive like a 4 cylinder car on a large SUV. The electronic panel (dashboard fell off to the floor), the electric component got rusted and needed to be replaced. The prevention collision system was malfunctioning. It activated spontaneously and make my car to stopped completely while driving and even prevented me from stop while I was driving. Even with all this bad experiences I really loved my SUV, it has all the features I wanted. I was extremely comfortable, I really liked the panoramic roof, but I got the worst experienced from Infiniti, Puerto Rico. I took the car to the dealer and after a long talk and trying to get rid of my beloved SUV. I trade my JX35 for a brand new Q60 convertible... A really bad choice. The hard top one got stuck in the upright position semi opened then the car began scratching the car while the hard top was being opened, it began scratching one side and then both side. I took my car 8 time for repair, and they say the car has nothing wrong. Today my car is at the dealer for repairs again with the scratching... I really like the car overall. The driving, the handling, the motor, the interior but these two car were the worst car ever with the worst service ever. Hoping to trade this car again for an Acura or BMW or other SUV.

I have an Infiniti with transmission problems. Visits and calls to the dealer gave no resolutions. I was told this is a manufacturer issue, but they offered no resolution. Now, the car is stuck just outside of warranty, with the same issues, and at my own expense.

After being informed that there was an extended warranty issued and Infiniti would fix my dashboard, I called, the representative told me to get a work order from the dealer and it would be taken care of. I got the work order and called Infiniti Consumers back. I spoke with a different representative and he said he would open a case and I should receive a call from someone within two business days. He also noted that he seriously doubted that they would do anything because the warranty expired in November 2012. I received a call that same evening. Of course they told me the same thing he said. I was told that they sent out letters from their office to many address on file. Which she couldnt give to me. That was strange. My address should have been updated in their system since I frequent the Infiniti Dealer for regular maintenance. I was also surprised that this was never brought to my attention by the Dealership. For Infiniti to be luxury automotive dealer, they dont value the relationships of their customers. I was never notified of this cosmetic issue and did not receive adequate details on why. This had really upset me.

I have a 2008 G37 under warranty until 9/17/2012. My drivers side floor was experiencing a leak. When I went to the Infiniti dealership of Manhattan, I was informed that the car door had either been worked on or it had been into an accident (an accident on the top of the front door? Pretty sure the Mr. ** was making up excuses to charge me). Mr. ** then proceeded to say that the window is not put in the right spot and is very complicated to get it fixed. The cost was going to be $285. I declined as I see this as red flag. He then told me I have to pay the $139 diagnostic fee, which is unacceptable. I was in no mood to get cheated as I see this as one. I then told him I did not have the means to pay for it. Luckily, he was nice enough to take care of that for me. This company policy practice is unfriendly. How can a luxury brand like Infiniti have such poor customer service?

FX30 - Despite salemans assurances that Infiniti was expanding their network and would be providing services through Nissan dealers... 7 years on and still stuck with extortionate service fees, dearer parts than you would expect for a classic restoration - cant even have the brakes changed at Quick Fit!! Even had to pay almost £200 for SatNav update as 10 year old roads were not on a 7 year old car!! At least two other comparable luxury car options out there with competitive, reputable, and nationwide servicing capability.

Im just very sad that my 2003 Infinity g35 burned to the ground while not even on and no one from Nissan seems to care. The fire department said that it looked like it started from the headlight. Im now out of car. The sad thing is that I want to buy another g35 but my pride wont let me.

Love to drive it loaded. These cars are slick with all the bells and whistles, power doors, sunroof, heated seats and leather interior. Great vehicle line up. Cant go wrong. They have multiple upgrade like special rims, tires, accessories, OnStar satellite and tinted windows but most of the line up has it all. Theyre very roomy and have legroom to stretch and a lot of elbow room and storage capacity and big trunks. Very good car or van truck. You just gotta go with what your family needs. Whatever your style its here. Hard to decide what vehicle to choose. Fast cars, family cars. Even had multiple colors. You name it Infinitis got it covered.

Re: 2014 Infiniti QX60 – MILEAGE 21213. Let me begin by saying I am a loyal Infiniti owner. I purchased a 2013 JX35 from Infiniti of Lynbrook and every experience with them was professional and delightful. Their customer service was exceptional. The only reason why I went to Infiniti of Manhasset is because Infiniti of Lynbrook didn’t have the vehicle that I was interested in purchasing. I assumed that I would receive the same great service at Infiniti of Manhasset so I took a chance with them. I am sorry I took a chance with Infiniti of Manhasset and regret purchasing my vehicle with them.On December 5, 2016 I visited Infiniti of Manhasset interested in seeing and test driving the above referenced vehicle. I was introduced to Michael ** the Used Car Manager and I explained that I was approved by my credit union and I had an Infiniti JX35 before so I was interested in a QX60. He introduced me to the Sales Consultant Benjamin **. Benjamin ** accompanied me on a test drive and we walked around the vehicle to check for dents, scratches and any other issues the vehicle might have had. It was approximately 8pm at that time and dark outside making it impossible to see all the issues the vehicle might have had.I told Benjamin ** that I was interested in purchasing the vehicle and the negotiating began. Michael ** explained that there was an $850 “Dealership Fee” and was insisting that I allow him to run my credit through his banks. I explained that I was approved and had no reason to run my credit again. Furthermore, I was unwilling to pay the $850 “Dealership Fee” and I wanted to know why he was so adamant in wanting to run my credit through the banks. Michael **s tone changed to an aggressive manner and he started explaining to me that he wasn’t making any money off of me! He said that he had many hits online for this vehicle and didn’t need my sale. I could take it or leave it. He was going to sell that car. He said the $850 is his commission and the Banks give him a kickback with every inquiry. I told him that I was in the process of purchasing a home and that I didn’t want my credit run again and that I wanted to negotiate the car price based on the listed online price $33,489. In the end $33,249 was agreed upon in addition Benjamin ** and I noticed the vehicle had a small dent and chipped paint in two areas and it was told to me that that would be fixed by Thursday December 8, 2016 when I pick up the vehicle at 11am.Moving forward to Thursday December 8, 2016 I arrive at approximately 2:30pm with my husband Marcus **. We take a look at the vehicle and there is dried gum on the back passenger side of the vehicle, the cup holders were filthy with a blue sticky paste and it was apparent that the car was NOT detailed it had been washed but no special attention was taken to present this car to its new owner. A careful review of the vehicle in the daytime revealed that the rims on the vehicle are scratched and dented. I did not notice this discrepancy on Monday December 5, 2016 when I originally saw the vehicle. I explained that I was unhappy with the rims on the vehicle and my husband asked if they could take clean rims off of another vehicle and switch my rims. Michael ** explained that he could not do that and back in the aggressive, condescending, rude tone he had on Monday said that fixing the rim would cost him money and he wasn’t doing that. He said that he would have the rim detailed the same day that he would have the chipped paint fixed. But he wasn’t spending any money to fix the rims because that wasn’t discussed on Monday. I told him that Benjamin and I didn’t see the rims because it was dark in the parking lot and that shouldn’t matter. My husband explained that he could lose the deal over a rim and again Michael ** went on to explain, continuously mentioning that he could sell this vehicle to someone who was not present in the dealership with a check ready to purchase. Michael ** repeatedly expressing how someone else could purchase this vehicle made me feel as if my money was not wanted or needed in your dealership. I was not applying for a loan I walked in with money to purchase this vehicle outright. Your Used Car Manager made me feel as if my business wasn’t wanted. Could it be because I am **? Was he speaking to me in a rude condescending manner because he could care less about his customers? It is unprofessional to tell a customer that you are not making any money off of them! I believe he made no effort to correct the paint job prior to pick up, I believe he didn’t ensure the vehicle was detailed prior to the 11am pick up time, I believe he saw the rims were scratched and dented but could care less because I am a ** Woman. I am sure if I were a ** Woman he would have never spoken to me in the manner in which he did.Michael ** made me feel like he could care less about my bank check. That I wasn’t important because if I was he would have walked through that vehicle himself to make sure that it was at Infiniti of Manhasset’s standard! His condescending tone made me very uncomfortable and I spent the entire evening regretting my purchase and wishing I went back to Infiniti of Lynbrook where I had purchased my 2013 JX35 two years prior. No one should be left to feel like they are less than or unimportant. When Michael ** left Benjamin **s office we heard him telling the other Infiniti employees that we were complaining about the dented rims and that he wasn’t going to fix or change any rims laughing about it like if we were a joke. This infuriated me! He could have at least waited until we left before he chose to talk about us. The Sales Consultant Benjamin ** was very helpful. He test drove the vehicle with me. He went through all of the vehicles features and he explained that he would handle scheduling my future maintenance appointments. I will never purchase another vehicle from Infiniti Manhasset. As a Correction Officer I fully intend on expressing my horrible experience with this dealership to my co-workers to ensure none of our over 9,000 Officers never have to deal with this type of disrespect. I fully intend on communicating with Infiniti’s corporate office and consumer affairs about my experience with Infiniti of Manhasset.

Have 4 yr old M37X. Service regularly at Infiniti dealer purchased vehicle. Headlamp seal broke down with water entering headlamp. No damage at all to headlamp. Infiniti service department said very rare, but $2000 for new lamp. Nearly 5% of cost of car. Claim details referenced and service agent not even correct. Lost customer - service and new purchase.

I called Infiniti about a bubbling dashboard on my 2006 Infiniti FX35. I am the original owner on the vehicle and have lived at the same address 25+ years. They told me it was a manufacturing defect and letters were sent out and they are not responsible if I never received it! This vehicle has been garaged the entire time I have owned it and only has 52,000 miles on it. I am very upset that I spent so much money on this vehicle and the dashboard is pretty much ruined due to a manufacturing defect that I was never notified about. I will never buy another Infiniti product and will warn everyone I know about this poor customer service and a supposed luxury brand!!!

If you have a problem with a sale that was made do not expect Infiniti to help. Even when the dealership, that carries their name, lied to make a sale. Grubbs Infiniti lied to make a sale. They seem to not want to get involved to help out. They are okay with the deception that was done at Grubbs INFINITI, in Grapevine TX. I have never had such bad customer service. I will definitely not buy another Infiniti vehicle again. This was my first Infiniti and my last. I will go back to Cadillac, now they outstanding customer service.

Last year I purchased a one owner 2008 G35 with 35k miles on it in Jacksonville Florida. The original owner kept all maintenance up to date and took it to the dealership they purchased it from. I have babied the car, always park in the shade and always use a sun visor. After one month of owning the car, the dash started cracking around the air vents and near the radio. I have also noticed the dash is lifting on some corners around the hood over the instrument cluster. I immediately reached out to the Infiniti dealership it was originally purchased but was told there was no recall or anything they could do unless I wanted to pay out of pocket.I have read in several forums that this has been an issue with the G35s. I also read there was class action lawsuit filed for Florida but owners had to have submitted their claim in 2017. I hoping there is some kind of assistance in this matter. It is very disappointing that a luxury brand, Infiniti would not stand by their product with a known defect.

Ive had my FX since 2007 and Ive been a loyal customer of the service department at Clear Lake infiniti, but up until a few years ago I had to go to another location which is about an hour away from the clear lake location. This location is the worst! You are a number get in and out and when you go for just a plain oil change I ALWAYS get that I need a clue of other services that are needed. Anyway, this last time I went and got everything they told me I needed for the car like because I take what they are saying to be a fact. So, I go to look under the hood to give my husband a jump because the battery is dead and I see the air intake hose is not connected. Its sitting pretty next to the belts. I want to whack whatever idiot over there just threw the extra parts when servicing my car. This isnt the first issue Ive had, but it will be my last.

My vehicle is a 2001 Infiniti I-30. I have this car serviced at a local Nissan dealership since I purchased the car there in 2009. The car developed some idle problems and Nissan told me that it was the ECM (the vehicles computer). I had the ECM and a valve replaced 2 years earlier at Nissan, but they indicated that they could not do anything since it was an Infiniti part, but to contact Infiniti consumer affairs because they are likely to help with the problem since this part is over $1000 and should last more than 2 years. They indicated they would do this for a Nissan part.I contacted InfinitI consumer affairs and they instructed me to take it to an Infiniti dealership and get the problem verified. I explained to them that I was just at a Nissan dealership and they are actually the same company, but they insisted. Since I needed to get this problem fixed, I took it there. They kept the car for a week and a half and after all this, they told me they couldnt help because the part was out of warranty. They knew that the part was out of warranty before I took it into an Infiniti dealer and now I was out $145 service fee which they would not pay either.I asked to speak to a supervisor and Yadiri told me there was none. When I insisted, she indicated that a supervisor was not there. When I kept up, Jeane (the supervisor) came on the phone. Jeane indicated that the warranty was not the only issue (contradicting her subordinate) and indicated that car mileage and customer loyalty was also a factor. I indicated to her that I was an extremely loyal customer having my car serviced at Nissan consistently. She ignored my remarks and repeated over and over that they were not going to cover the part. This is ridiculous. Infiniti consumer affairs is a farce. People have purchased new Infinitis because of my vehicle as Ive always loved the performance and told people about it. Even though the car was old - this appealed to my friends because it showed reliability. I will make it my goal in life to get as many people away from the Infiniti cars as I possibly can. If someone at that company was smart, they would read the reviews in this section.

I love my Infiniti sedan. I bought it used at 85k miles. I have zero problems with it. Just regular maintenance which is reasonable. It rides beautifully. It’s pretty. I would love to get a new one.

I purchased a 2013 M37S. I needed brake pads and rotors at 9,000 miles then rear brakes at 13,000 miles. Now I need brakes again at 22,000. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I have owned many cars in my life and this is the first time I have ever needed brake repairs at this rate. I will never buy Infiniti again and I also own a QX60. I am going back to LEXUS.

I lease my Infiniti QX70 2017 on October 2017. Since then I had very bad experience with their service. It start with the fact that they didnt provide my the additional tool to change my Tire. I waited 3 ours to someone to come and change my tire (I could do it by my self, but I didnt find the special key). When the help arrived he also didnt have the special tool and I was suppose to wait 7 hours for towing. Last week I heard big explosion while driving and the Exhaust fell down.I didnt bump anything!!! And when I went the the Mechanic, they blamed me to bump something and pay 1500$ to replace the exhaust. It was impossible to bump something since the bump was in the posterior part of my exhaust. I try to talk with consumer affairs but they denied my concerns. This for sure my last Infiniti ever. And of curse, all my friends tried to prevent me to lease Infiniti. I feel so bad that I didnt hear to their advice.

I love Infiniti vehicles. My last one I30 was fabulous for 286,000 miles so of course I had to get another Infiniti. The Q50 is even better. Great style, durability, and easy handling.

This is what we sent Infiniti in Aug. after yet another repair in 2 years. My car is a lemon. Since purchasing it 2 years ago, it has been in to have the brakes looked at & repaired at least 7 times! We first had the dealership that we purchased it from look at them right after we bought it in 2011 & have since had the Infiniti dealership in town work on the brakes 6 times! 10/29/2011, 1/11/2012, 4/17/2012, 5/24/2012, 10/24/2012 & recently. We want OUT of this car! The brakes were not the only problem with this car. We had the dash replaced, the rear end was replaced due to a defect which has to be addressed every 40k miles, the windshield wipers do not last past a year, the cruise control doesnt work, the air conditioning was blowing hot air, the car would lose traction in the rain etc., etc., etc. The list is so long. We just heard back from Infiniti about getting out of this car and into a new one, since the dealership says that these problems are unusual and Infiniti said that they will not do anything about this car because it is out of warranty (It has 70k miles on it). We really anticipated them realizing this car is a lemon and should not be on the road since it is a safety issue having a faulty brake system. This is the worst experience we have ever had with a car and the local dealership (there is only 1 in town) and now Infiniti itself! The car is messing up again (the engine is dragging and the gas mileage has dropped which is usually the sign we get when the brakes are going again) and it was only in to get serviced 2 months ago. Hate that the only option here is a lawsuit!
Infiniti USA has thumbed their nose at the malfunction of OCS system in 200
Infiniti USA has thumbed their nose at the malfunction of OCS system in 2009 vehicles, ours is a G37. When the OCS is not functioning it turns off the airbags when a passenger sits in the passenger seat. They do not care that your life and the life of your passenger (my husband, my grandson, my mother, my daughter) is at risk for serious injury or death as a result of their negligence. They are negligent in that Infiniti knows very well they have a problem with this system not working as intended when purchased (easy lookup on internet of many owners having this same problem) yet they only recalled back to 2010 to fix the OCS thus requiring 2009 Infiniti owners to fork out $6400 to replace their defective design or not fix and run the risk of death or serious injury. I have called Infiniti USA and their response is this vehicle has no recalls end of discussion.Every owner of a 2009 Infiniti that has problems with the OCS not functioning and turning off airbags when anyone (even my hand) touches the passenger seat should not accept Infinitis answer and file a complaint with their Attorney Generals office and NHTSA. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in June of 2016 and was in a 1999 vehicle... Had the airbags not gone off as intended I honestly do not believe I would be here writing this today so I am very aware of how in a blink of an eye you can be plowing into a vehicle and your only line of defense is working airbags. It is morally incomprehensible of Infiniti to not care for the lives of their customers (or should I say some of their customers).Knowing this I will never purchase another Infiniti and suggest you do the same because somewhere down the line you may have a problem that is not your fault with your expensive Infiniti and it may be one that could determine your safety and the safety of your loved ones and you will have to deal like the rest of the 2009 customers (victims) with absolutely no help from Infiniti.

Purchased a 2009 infiniti FX35, the car now has 60k miles. While driving the car it will rev up to 4000 + rpms shut down to idle and will not move until car is shut off and restarted. This is a MAJOR safety issue and a resolution needs to be resolved. Infiniti is aware of the problem and has a solution to fix some models of the FX35 but not all. Mine being one of them. We bought this car for reliability, while it has been a very reliable car this issue warrants a detailed response.

I bought a JX35 in September 2013. I had 5000 miles on it when the transmission began to shutter and shake between 15-20 mph. We took it back to the dealership twice before they agreed to replace the transmission. Then it started making a jarring motion while driving at any speed. It feels like it wants to stop while driving 60 mph. We have taken back to infinifi and were told it is now the new transmission. We also had to have the AC motor blower repaired. I have owned the JX35 for 9 months now and I do not feel safe to drive my family around in this vehicle. I was told the tech would have to call Infiniti on how to handle the transmission this time around. I have made a complaint with Infiniti Consumer Affairs but have not received a response yet. I paid a pretty penny for a car that is not safe to drive. I also had to bring it in for an airbag sensor recall in the passenger side seat.

For the second time in over a year I have experienced the same issue with my 2010 G37S sedan. The steering wheel locks and the vehicle wont start. Lights work, most of the common electrical stuff work, except for the windows that wont go up or down. It seems to have something related with me not starting the car for more than a week in both occasions, I have been away on work trips for over a week. The first time the car was under warranty Infiniti claimed that it was a dead battery which I am pretty confident it wasnt because I had the battery checked just before that car was taken to the dealer. Now this past Monday I got back from a work trip to encounter the same problem, only thing is that my warranty had expired a month ago. This time I call roadside assistance, they try the most common things to see if the car would start. No response at all. Steering wheels still lock, they take it to the dealer. I contact Infiniti consumer affairs to let them know to express my anger and how disgusted I am with this issue. They gave me a case # and told me that they were going to try and help me out. After a whole week my car is still at the dealer and the service crew still has no idea whats wrong with my car.

I am a SEVEN-TIME Infiniti owner. On 11-9-19 we leased a new Infiniti QX-60 from Infiniti of Columbus in Dublin, Ohio. We traded in a 2017 QX-60 coming off lease. One week after the trade in, we received a bill for $2,493.84 from Infiniti Finanacial Services, due immediately for payoff on the OLD lease, which contractually the Dealer was to have paid off. I tried to reach our salesman Stephen ** by phone several times that day, with NO return calls. I then emailed to Mr. ** as to why our now turned in vehicle had not been paid off. He replied by email that their finance/accounting department had told him that the check had been mailed. 10 days later on 11/25/19 I called Infiniti Financial Services who stated that NO payoff check had been received.I again emailed Mr. ** our salesman who again stated that he again checked with accounting who yet again verified the check had been mailed. One week later on 12/2/19 I again called IFS who again stated that no check had been received. I agained emailed and called our salesman repeatedly who no replies this time. I then called the Sales Manager Radu ** at the dealer who said he’d immediately resolve the issue. 3 days later I again called IFS and no payment had been received. I multiple times emailed and called the Sales Manager Radu ** with no replies. On 12/5/19 I then called the Finance manager Mike ** who proceeded to sort the issues out. The next day he got back to me on 12/6/19 and told me the check was NEVER ISSUED as the salesman had told me, until 12/3/19 and that Infiniti Fine isl Services had LOST the check. On 12/7/19 I received a collection letter from IFS, at which time I called Infiniti Consumer Affairs to assist with my payoff issues and lack of customer service from the dealer. I again spoke with Mr. ** the finance manager on 12/9/19 who stated he would overnight another payoff check. That same day I received a call from Austin, a Regional Manager for Infiniti Consumer Affairs in Nashville who stated he would also assist in resolving this matter. On 12/11/19, I spoke with Austin again, as well as an IFS representative who stated BOTH the lost check and the replacement checks had been received and who emailed me a payoff letter. On January 4, three weeks later I received a NEW collection letter from IFS for the original amount as well as a check from IFS for the same payoff amount made out in my name. I called IFS, who stated the account was now in collections with the loss recovery department which was closed on a Saturday. I again called Infiniti Consumer Affairs and requested that the case be re-opened. On Monday 1/6//20, I again called Consumer Affairs as Austin had not called despite my leaving several voicemails at his direct dial number. They connected me to him, and he partied me in with IFS and then the Loss Recovery Department. Austin refused to stay on the line as he was “too busy to continue helping” and stated he would call me in follow up 2 days later. I then spoke with Frank ** at Infiniti Financial Services loss recovery department with my attorney listening in, and Frank proceeded to laugh as he reviewed the case facts. Upon his review, and after spending 75 minutes on the phone with multiple people, in addition to over 4 hours spent on calls and emails prior, Frank proceeded to tell us that IFS had refunded the second payment from the dealer to me instead of the dealer, and simultaneously referred me to multiple collection agencies (several of whom had called me already earlier that day). Mr. ** explained that he indeed could NOT avoid the check erroneously mailed to me and that I had to deposit the check, and mail a personal check along with the bill and collection notice to pay off the 2017 Infiniti, and stated he would no longer pursue collection of this account and refused to e-mail me confirmation of this or our discussion. The next day on 1/7/20 I deposited the erroneously issued check from Infiniti for $2,493.84 and simultaneously mailed a personal check for the same amount via Certified Mail, return receipt requested.Austin, from Infiniti Consumer Affairs called me once on W. 12/8/19, while I was on an emergency phone call. I am a physician and was unable to take his call. Less than 60 seconds later, I called Austin back at Cinsumer Affairs and again left multiple voice mails with NO return call. I hope anyone considering owning/leasing an Infiniti will give second thoughts after reading our horrible saga of repeated failures at giving proper customer service at all levels of management.

We buy this car if we paid for a cheap nice car. Its only good way to travel around the world and pay insurance for this. Otherwise it isnt a overpaying. Its a four seat car with nice comfortable seat of black type of car and it helps seat more people in a car per travel without stress. Appearance of a car just looks pretty normal and pretty depending the bright shine and coolest looking function.

I have a 4 door sedan which seats 5 comfortably. Infiniti has a wide range of models from sports cars and coupes to trucks and suvs. Great engines with lots of power. All wheel drive which comes in handy in the northeast and a very good awd system. Very unique sounding engine along with a stylish new body which they just came out with getting away from the legacy models that have been the same for some time. The upgrades include real leather, nose speakers, sports seats, suspension and engine upgrade. Navigation is also an option, backup camera comes standard.

Infiniti is an overpriced luxury. They make minimum number of models and they all look very similar. The cars look a lot like traditional Honda or Toyota. I own a sedan and it comfortably seats 4 adults. The interior options are ok, but the styling is boring. The color choices are also very standard. The car has all the high end features but the performance of these features leaves a lot to be desired. The stereo options with Boss are nice and the nav system is offered, but the nav system performance is poor. Also, when using the car for kids, the child latch hooks are very difficult to access.

I didn’t want for it to come to this l, but I feel like others should be warned. In Aug 2016 I leased a 2016 Q50 from Infiniti on Camelback. I love my car and planned to purchase it after the lease, up until these last couple months. In the beginning of October 2018, it started running hot and overheating, on October 24th took it into Infiniti of Scottsdale for an inspection and they gave me the all clear saying they couldn’t replicate the issue and nothing was wrong with my car after having it for 2 days. The service tech told me if it continues to call them back and bring it up.On my way home from the dealership, my car was running hot but not overheating and when I looked in the coolant reservoir, it was pretty much empty after just being filled at the dealership. I called and the service tech said to email him the photos which I did and never received a call back (it was the weekend). I continued to drive my car just adding 1/4 quart coolant, if not more, a day until the “low oil pressure, stop vehicle” light came about 8 days later (800 miles). I then had my car towed to Infiniti on Camelback where I purchased the car and had them look at it for the same issue. I was told that there was sludge in my engine and I had “lack of maintenance.”Before even being asked to provide all my receipt of oil changes, they noted on my car that there was lack of maintenance. They changed the oil at Infiniti on Camelback, still couldnt replicate the losing coolant and overheating issue and once again sent me on my way and told me to continue driving the car. Fast forward to Thanksgiving Day (4 days after getting my car back), we are driving to our families in Surprise Arizona from Chandler Arizona and about 45 minutes into the drive, I try accelerating and it doesn’t do anything. I pull into the suicide lane as I couldn’t do anything else and once the car finally hit about 20 mph the motor seized and started knocking. As it being Thanksgiving, Infiniti on Camelback is closed, we called the Infiniti towing line so they could tow the car in and we would have someone just come get us so we could still enjoy Thanksgiving. We were only quoted 90 minutes for the tow, but sat on the I10 for almost 4 and a half hour. I called Camelback the next day and spoke to the service manager. They refused to give me a loaner, and said that I would need to purchase a battery for $250 and $759 to break my car apart, before they could start the diagnostic on my car. That is ridiculously high for a battery for 1 and why am I being charged labour for something that should be under warranty?I purchase a battery from Infiniti of Peoria for $150 and self installed it. They still refused to do any diagnostic unless I paid them the $750 to break my car down. As my car in the last month had been given the all clear, and now they were saying I never did oil changes and it was my fault the motor and turbos blew. The service manager was VERY rude to me and just kept repeating “your lack of maintenance,” refusing to listen to anything else I had to say or look at any of my maintenance reports.I didn’t feel comfortable moving forward with them so I transferred my car to Infiniti of Coulter AFTER speaking with a service technician who said he “doesn’t see why warranty wouldn’t approve it because it been checked 2 times in the last month and I have all my oil records. It sound like the coolant is mixing with the oil.” He told me at first if warranty didn’t approve it, but he didn’t see why they would. It would be $350 to pay, easy, told him to go ahead. I still mind you have not had a loaner vehicle. They did the inspection and to my understand they had all my service records and submitted the claim, the claim came back asking for my photo of the top of my engine which brought the charge up to $1400. I asked him what he thought was going to happen and he said he wasn’t sure but he still didn’t feel like it would be denied. After thinking about it, I really didn’t have any other choice and said go ahead.About a week passed and I heard nothing, I called asking if I would be able to get a loaner and he said yeah I should have something Thursday [on Monday]. I said okay and we left it at that. On Thursday I called to see when the loaner would be ready and he said my claim came back denied so I wouldn’t be able to get a loaner and the price on a used engine and turbo would be $14,000 or he could find a new motor but it would be about $14000 plus my $1,400 I already owe them. I’ve called consumer affairs numerous time and escalated it due to the fact they denied it “due to the sludge being in the engine it an automatic denial for lack of maintenance of the vehicle.” Well come to find out the claim was submitted with 2 service records. Of course they would deny it! I asked the service tech to attach the records so they can reevaluate and was told “no amount of service records can change their decision.”Well come back to this week after waiting since the 23rd or December for a call back from a regional supervisor in consumer affairs, I get the call telling me there will be no other communication and that I am not only responsible for a new motor but continue to pay the lease [done on Nov 1 2019] and any damaged that will be due after turning the lease in. So after paying almost $40,000 for the car, I now will have to pay an additional $20,000 for a motor and $470 a month till November. Not only that, I’ve made 3 payment on a car that’s been sitting at Infiniti with no loaner provided, lost out on not only Thanksgiving but Christmas and New Years with my family because I had no transportation to get there. Not only that but I’ve been having to rely on rides to work or paying for Lyfts. I’ve never in my life had such a bad experience with a company. I’ve personally purchased 2 vehicles from Infiniti and in the last 3 years my dad has purchase almost 6. I was a very loyal Infiniti customer but now I will never be back to any Infiniti or Nissan dealership. I’ve spoked with 3 master techs, without even telling them what’s happened to the car just showed them the videos and photos, ever since one of them have said, “there is a leak in my head gasket and coolant is mixed with my oil.” Sludge take thousands of miles to build in an engine, not only was it taken 800 miles prior and given the all clear AT AN INFINITI DEALERSHIP but the oil was changed 3,000 miles prior, and we still have the oil from that change. Not only did this happen to my car but is now happening to multiple other Infiniti’s and has (to my knowledge in Arizona only) happened to at least 6 others who have had their motor replaced already, through warranty or paying for it themselves. Mind you, I also paid for the 3 years or 45000 miles maintenance package for $499 that Infiniti on Camelback never attached to my lease.

I own a 2004 Infiniti G35 with 46K miles on it. The car is not a daily driver and is maintained immaculately. My engine has just suffered a catastrophic failure where a bolt inside the short block backed itself out and caused severe damage to the crank, block itself, sprayers, pistons, etc. The repair is costing me over $6,000 and when I contacted Consumer Affairs, they were not interested in hearing any of my issues and were not ready to stand behind their product. I even mentioned to them that I currently own 2 Infiniti cars, the G35 and a QX4, and that I have even owned a third product in the past. The whole process has left a sour taste in my mouth and a deep hole in my pocketbook. I wasnt expecting Infiniti to cover 100% of the damages, but was hoping to get some compensation.

I live in the San Bernardino Valley where the temperatures reach an excess of 106F. I frequently visit my daughter who lives in the high desert of Adelanto with similar temperatures, and I travel to Arizona where I have family. In July I was sent a recall that indicated my passenger airbag inflator has the risk of rupturing, resulting in metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants causing serious injury or death in areas with high levels of absolute humidity. For that reason, I have limited my life, and refrained from having passengers in my car because clearly I care for the life of others more than INFINITI does. I contacted INFINITI today, and to no surprise there is still no repair, or solution in sight. This is my first and last. Toyota is where I should have stayed. L60, here I come.

I have a 2005 Infiniti fx45 with a blistering/bubbling dashboard. Contacted Infiniti, they say they no longer can fix the problem because they send a notification to all the owners back in 2010 and the warranty was extended until 2013. My Infiniti was purchased on 2010 and I was never notify of this issue. What can I do?

Comfortable and a very smooth ride. Plenty of room to travel long distance with children and pets. Very powerful engine and easy to handle. Fully loaded with new technology. Incredible braking system and also a very nice sound system. It handles like a car and I also gets very good gas mileage to be an SUV. I would recommend this vehicle because it is very classy.

I leased an Infiniti 37G in 2014. My lease expired in September of this year, I visited the dealership where I had leased the car the first week of August and inquired about buying a new Infiniti AWD. I contacted the dealer several times trying to get cost and payment terms. I received two quotes, both with very different figures and payment terms. I contacted the dealer a final time the third week of September and told the salesman I had to have the information within the next two days in order to process everything before the lease expired. When I did not hear from him, I purchased another vehicle from a different dealer.I then called to make arrangements to return the leased Infiniti and was told the only person who did that was out with an infected arm. I was told he would be given a message to call me when he returned. I still have not heard from him and it is now the middle of October. I returned the car to a different dealership. Now after two months I have been unable to get Infiniti to release interest in my Personalized tags and have had to buy new tags for the car I purchased. Based on my experience, I would never recommend leasing or buying from Infiniti.

I was told at Infiniti of Cool Springs when purchasing my new Infiniti in July 2011, that if I purchased the maintenance plan it would cover all of the advised maintenance on my vehicle up to 75,000 miles. But I recently found out, not much more than a year later, that it only covers 10 oil changes and tire rotations. One year later, I only have 2 left. I was also told at the day of purchase that I needed to have my vehicle serviced every 3,000 miles, so I have tried to do this. Little did I know that I was quickly diminishing my maintenance plan that really does not cover everything that needs to be serviced anyway. I was also told that if I purchased a tire maintenance agreement that it would cover my tires if they needed to be replaced for so many miles. I was told today that this was never added. Beware of maintenance agreements at this dealership, since I would have been better off to pay for all necessary oil changes and tire rotations. This would have been much cheaper. This is very misleading!

Infiniti offers various models of cars that can fit the needs of a wide variety of people. They have SUVs, sedans, etc. Not only does Infiniti offer normal gasoline-powered cars, they also offer a hybrid of gasoline and electric fuel in order to help the environment. Infiniti has very green models. The appearance of their cars are very luxurious and definitely are appealing to the eye. The outside paint is sleek and shiny while the inside interior is soft and comfy. The overall design is smooth. The features of this car include computer controlled dashboards that allow a driver a new level of safety. There are also many options for Infiniti for personalizing and upgrading various features of the car. One can easily change the color of the interior and with the dashboard, set various messages and programs at certain times. The passenger capacity of Infiniti is perfect for huge families too. There is plenty of space for people to sit comfortable along with much-needed storage space for various things such as books, backpacks, supplies for vacations and etc. messages and programs at certain times.

Jx35 wont turn off? Dont know the consequences yet because Im still sitting in it! Been here for an hour and the truck will not shut off. Tried with the key fob over the ignition button and nothing. I suppose disconnecting the battery is next. Not sure how an already shoddy electrical system will hold up to that.

They ruined my credit over $100, because I had a typo in a single month of car payment. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and never had a clean payment history. They didn’t bother contacting me and marked me 30 days late. So now I can’t get the best mortgage rate when I’m trying to buy a house. Their customer service is also very rude when I try to dispute this.

I purchased a new, fully loaded JX35 in early 2013 and since then have had several problems with it. First, the entire front panel burnt out as we were getting ready to go on a trip. Then the back lift gate had problems. Overall, not a very good impression. Then I find out that the JX35 is being renamed. Why would Infiniti do that to its customers. Basically all the owners of the JX35 are now at a big disadvantage if we ever want to sell our vehicles or trade it in. I will never buy another Infiniti again. Previously owned Lexus and never had any problems. Will go back to Lexus or Mercedes. Infiniti can change their cars names all day long, it still will never be a true luxury car.

If your Infiniti Q50 AWD sport or non sport 19 rims with the Dunlop SP 5000 DSST CTT run flat tires will probably develop a low speed squashy sound around 10k-15k miles you will hear with the windows down. If you notice this tire noise the tires are under warranty from Goodyear who now owns Dunlop and Kelly. Goodyear Tire Company will send you to a retail tire shop and once confirmed tires are in fact bad will prorate towards a new set of run flat or non - run flat Dunlop, Goodyear or Kelly tires. I have a 2015 Q50 AWD sport with Deluxe and Technology Package my bad original Dunlop 5000 DSST CTT @ 14,917 miles, I chose the EAGLE SPORT A/S non-run flat tires that come with a 50,000 mile warranty. Very low tire noise, smooth riding, better braking, excellent in rain + dry traction-handling, good snow traction. These new Goodyear tires has definitely improved my overall ownership experience with the Infiniti Q50.

I noticed a few bubbles on my dashboard about a year or 2 ago but over the last several months, it has gotten worse and worse and is now at the point where there are thousands. I am VERY disappointed that this is happening to a car that I spent a lot of $ on and is supposed to be a luxury car -- my cousin googled it and found there was a warranty on it and Infiniti admitted to using a poor material on their dashboards which was the reason they are all completely falling apart and bubbling up. I called immediately to see how I could go about getting mine fixed and was advised my warranty expired in October of 2015 -- and that a letter was never sent to me, it went to the original owner (I bought it a year used) and there was NOTHING they would do for me. This is the worst customer service I have ever received -- Infiniti should take pride in their vehicles and should own their mistake and pay for all customers who have been affected -- they then asked me which Infiniti dealer I went to for servicing to which I replied I have gone to the one in Norwood but that was 3-4 years ago as we moved to Cape Cod which is 70 miles from the closest one and it wasnt feasible for me to bring my car there every time I needed it serviced. To replace this dashboard, it will cost around $1,500 or more -- I will never purchase another Infiniti again if Infiniti doesnt do the right thing and help out their customers -- inadequate notifications were sent out and were never followed up on, I was never advised anything of this by my local dealer, and now I am being left to pick up the pieces financially. I am disgusted by the poor customer service I have received and the unwillingness to help me as I am not a valuable enough customer since I dont utilize the dealership for my services -- if Infiniti doesnt do the right thing and pay for the dashboard that was destroyed by their poor materials that they used, not because of the fault of its drivers, I dont think I will ever recommend or buy an Infiniti again -- how am I to know that something like this wont happen with my next Infiniti --- If Infiniti wants to put their consumers first, they should be willing to pay for all of them, as it is not only an embarrassment to me when I drive other people in my car and they immediately ask what is wrong with my dashboard, but it is an embarrassment to Infiniti.

I went to lease my 2nd Infiniti and ended paying much higher than what they advertised. They will try to sell you overpriced maintenance plan to collect more profit. Although they say they are transparent but actually. I feel I was mislead into paying out than I originally planned. Be very careful dealing with this dealership. I will NOT recommend anyone buying or leasing from this dealership.

There are so many varieties. Im a very big fan of this brand and I have been a fan since the first time I laid eyes on this particular model. I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy a great car at a great price. The appearance is the best. Its interior styling is suited for anyone with class and style. The overall smooth touch of this vehicle sticks out from any other model. There are many upgrades from having a sunroof added to having leather seats put in. You can also have a front or rear camera added if needed. The passenger capacity has enough room inside for luggage and passenger. You can even carry a pet if you like. The seats adjust just fine.

My car randomly stopped in the middle of the road, which caused me to drift into the water drainage section, on the side of the road (I was the only car on the road). As I called consumer affairs to get this squared away, they transferred me all over the place and gave me 3 different answers!!! The last guy hung up the phone after I didn’t feel like putting up with his BS. Congratulations Infiniti, you will not only be hearing from my Lawyer, but I will make sure the media will catch wind of this!! Oh, did I mention, I was in my way to pick up my 7 month old son?!? Yeah, you pissed off the wrong parent!!! Parents, do not buy this machine, you and your family will be at risk!!!

I have owned 8 Infiniti models over the years from a 1991 Q45 all the way to a 2011 G37x. I could not be happier with the cars and the way I was treated by the dealership in Barrington, IL. I will never go anywhere else for service work and plan on buying a Q40 or Q50 next year.

I took my car in for service, reluctantly, thinking once they had my address it would mean never-ending direct mail solicitations. I routinely unsubscribe from junk mail such as this but Infiniti has made it IMPOSSIBLE to do so. Ive spoken with the local dealership, corporate, been bounced around to Nissan, sometimes been told nobody knows which other part of the company is sending these, sometimes promised resolution, and at the end of the day continue to receive their BS. Most recently they had the audacity to send me a mailer with a business card inviting me to contact them at the local dealership personally. I will NEVER AGAIN get service from the dealership, and will NEVER buy another Infiniti, or Nissan, as a result of their persistence and disregard of a simple opt-out. I cannot express the extent of my frustration.

I bought a cpo 2015 qx60. After a while the lift gate strut got rusted and broke. INFINITI will not cover under their warranty. And also it costs 750.00 to replace just one side. Never will buy Infiniti again..

Overall I dislike the way how they handle the repaint to my 2019 QX50. It took few months to have it take to the shop. It took me 4 times going back and forth to have it test or investigate and took many picture to convince them that it is not a rock-chip. After few months they made a conclusion that they will repaint the area that is peeling (Rear & Front) and Im happy about it but if this ever happen to Toyota or Honda dealership they can deal with it within a week or two. Just saying. Also Im disappointed on how they wont include the Apple CarPlay into 2019 model QX50. It is a new model and every car should have this as basic Apple android connection to the car. But Infiniti decided to not include 2019 model for having Apple CarPlay. My first car was a Infiniti and my thoughts about this is if you want your customer to keep be happy and loyal into Infiniti family, a simple update to Apple CarPlay should be ok and implemented into the early version of 2019 QX50. From everything I have experience, I doubt that I will be continuing being a part of Infiniti for my next car purchase or even recommend it. I dont want my friends or my family to have the same experience that I had. PS. Infiniti could at least update the radio system to have an Apple CarPlay let any other new car in the market. Its 2019 model after all. The car looks great btw but if you have this type of issue (Paint & outdated system) I think I would reconsider purchasing a different brand for a better quality of paint and system.

Infiniti QX56 has a very nice ride. Handles very good on the highway, very comfortable on the road and has things to keep my children busy and safe. Great engine and is pretty good on gas.

Infiniti offers many different models for the working family, people just wanting a durable, reliable car, for those who want to look stylish but yet affordable. Great appearance, great build, the different features the car offers makes choosing easier, not just one type of appearance but many for others to choose from so not everyone looks alike. The upgrade features on the cars are also great. Since you have many different cars to upgrade from it helps choosing better so you can get the best for your money. It has lots of room to stretch out in and be comfortable while also being in a reliable yet durable car. Function is great especially in the sedan and SUV models.
