2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB electric crossover costs $55550 on sale this summer
Posted On: June 2, 2022
Mercedes-Benz is quickly filling out its portfolio of electric vehicles and not every entry is at the top end. The latest arrival is the EQB based on the GLB-Class compact crossover. It starts sales this summer priced at $55,550, including a $1,050 destination charge. Mercedes also has an EQA based on the GLA-Class, though this model isn't available in the U.S. just yet. The EQB was first shown last fall and we'll see it arrive as a 2022 model, initially in EQB 300 and EQB 350 grades. The $55,550 starting price is for the EQB 300. Opt for the EQB 350 and you'll need to pay at least $59,100, including destination. 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB In both cases there's a 66.5-kilowatt-hour battery and dual-motor all-wheel drive. Mercedes hasn't mentioned an EPA range estimate but both grades should deliver over 200 miles. The EQB 300 has 225 hp while the EQB 350 has 288 hp. Compared to the GLB-Class, the EQB benefits from unique styling treatments front and rear, including the addition of new lights. The interior is pretty much a match with the GLB-Class, including the ability to seat up to seven, though the navigation system is designed specifically for electric mobility. It incorporates GPS data, traffic sign recognition and info from several vehicle sensors to help overall efficiency and provide accurate info on range, including calculating any required charging stops. There are 10.25-inch screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment screen, and the navigation offers augmented reality graphics. U.S. buyers will receive two years worth of the Mercedes Me Charge program, on top of unlimited 30-minute charging sessions on the Electrify America network for the first two years after activating an account.

We have a 2012 Mercedes-Benz GL350 that listed new for 80,000.00. We bought it used in October of 2018 and it appeared in Excellent condition and had a clean Carfax and great service history. It had about 97,000 miles on it when we purchased it. At approximately 108,000 miles the engine locked up with no warning. The cost to replace the diesel engine with a new engine is close to 25,000.00. I contacted Mercedes Customer service and was informed that since I didnt purchase the vehicle new and I didnt have its yearly service done at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, they would not be able to offer any assistance with the repair cost. I was informed that even if I had purchased it new and had it serviced by the book, they would probably only offer about 5-10% of the repair cost. I was then told that if I wanted to purchase a New Mercedes GLS model, that they would offer me a discount coupon of $3,000.00.A new GLS starts at about 65,000.00. I think an 80,000.00 vehicle should last longer than 108000 miles, even if the dealer does not maintain it. By looking at the vehicle it is apparent that it was maintained. POOR customer service and product support in my opinion. Now I have a vehicle that I owe 16,000.00 on, and I would be lucky to get 6000.00 in the condition it is in now. And a used motor would still cost around $10,000.00. In addition to the engine, I have had to replace the oil filter housing due to a leak at less than 100000 miles, and recently I replaced the rear air bag and sensor and the air diverter valve also. Done with Mercedes for sure.

I am having the same issue with Mercedes Benz Walnut Creek, CA. My check engine light came on within a few days of purchasing the car. The salesman Jimmy ** says that the previous owner told him that when you put gas in the light went off and sent me on my way. I came in twice more with the same complaint only to be sent away again. A short time later the cel stayed on. Eventually I had to get my car registered and have the car smogged. The smog place so the cel on and would do no more work. He suggested that I take the car back to MBWC where I purchased the car. I had an extended warranty that canceled but was told it could still be used. I was given a loaner car for a month but when MB could not get paid with the extended warranty they took the loaner back with no charge. I thought this strange. I called the general manager to discuss with him. After he spoke with his people he told me what his people said but did not have an ear for anything I had to say. My car has been at the MBWC dealership since April and after calling AGAIN general manager called to tell me they had not realized my car was still there and that after a couple of days they would start charging me storage. The last attorney I spoke to told me I didnt have a case because the amount of money I would get would not be enough to cover his attorney fees. He is greedy. I am still making payments on my car. Also result of the cel being on the problem with the transmission was missed. I now need another transmission which I got an estimate of $2200+ and the cam shaft issue $7000+. I really need help. There is a lot more but so much to type. Is there anyone willing to help steer me in the right direction?

I purchased a 2014 ML350 Bluetec and had some problems with throttle responsiveness and transmission revving. After extensive technical servicing, the problem was not resolved. I decided to get rid of the vehicle and get another same model. Within weeks the exact same problem emerged. I contacted head office customer service to help resolve. They pushed it back to dealer who did everything they could however they still expected me to pay depreciation. There is a fundamental performance problem with this model. As a result, I had to get out of the first one where I took an out of pocket hit of $15,451.41 because of depreciation. Then I get into the same issue with 2nd model and as a result of having to get out of it much earlier than desired I am taking a depreciation hit of 23, 734.85. All in Mercedes is asking me to give them $39,186.26 because of a faulty product. This is my fundamental issue. They should be taking this vehicle off my hands without any penalty to me and working to retain my business. Why should I pay for manufacturer defect? I am not interested in paying another cent out of my pocket to resolve a Mercedes defect. I guess I will have to consider moving to Audi or BMW even though I like the ML product when it works properly. Its about the reasonableness principle and that is the foundation of any customer relationship.

I own a Mercedes GLC300 2016 and I have maintained my car with regular services as per Mercedes. All of a sudden my car starts shaking to the point is unsafe to drive on freeways. I towed it to Mercedes Benz of Newport Beach and I was told that piston #1 need to be replaced and gave me a quote of 9,500 and mentioned, We are not sure if problem is limited to piston, it can be the whole block but we can’t say until we tear apart your engine $4k. This car is being serviced at the dealer and they never mentioned that early GLC300 have wrist pin issues in their engines. Mercedes denies to take responsibility for this issue.

At 2AM after being off for nearly 10 hours, the passenger seat of my 2007 GL450 caught on fire in my garage, nearly catching the house on fire and killing my dogs who were in the garage with the car. I reported this to Mercedes (MBUSA) and asked that they inspect the car because this was clearly a defect. The internet is littered with stories/complaints of GL450 seats catching on fire (Google GL450 fire). They said they would inspect it. After much prying, they never did an inspection. A friend with a GL450 called Mercedes to ask about these events that are on the internet that I had forwarded to her. They told her that no one had ever submitted a formal complaint on this, that they had never heard of that and she should not worry. This companys disregard for the lives of the people that buy their vehicles is appalling. You buy these cars because you think they are safe, yet when the company has been contacted on numerous occasions about a defect that has the potential to kill people, the company does nothing to fix the problem and lies to customers saying they have never heard of a GL450 catching on fire. Its as if they dont think we can search for things on the internet. I will never trust Mercedes again. I cannot believe they knowingly leave these cars on the road with seat heater defects that are literally like bombs going off when the car is unattended in a garage. This company has no respect for human life.

I just purchase a 2015 C63 AMG S. The moldings are falling off the car under the door. The car was taken to their body shop and the molding were replaced. A week later they started to come off again. Today I took the time to go to the dealer and talk to the shop foreman about this issue. We both agreed that the molding and lower panels are made defective and there may be no fix for this problem. I hope that Mercedes comes up with a fix soon or I will have to replace this car asap. It seems that the quality of their product has gone down the tube.

At the age of 57 on January 3, 2013, I had my 1st heart attack and decided life was too short and I shouldnt wait to buy my dream car any longer! So purely out of fear I went out and purchased my 1st Mercedes ML350 2010 @ Mercedes-Benz of Greenway, Houston, TX on January 28, 2013. Ever since I was a young boy my dream of success was to own a Mercedes Benz. I believed in the brand, quality and safety! I should have done my homework and searched the internet for any negative comments on Mercedes-Benz. If I would have known then what I know today after reading thousands of complaints, recalls and lawsuits, I WILL HAVE NOT PURCHASED a Mercedes-Benz EVER!!!Why I say this??? Because after 1 week of having this vehicle its been a sequence of malfunctions and headaches! Its been HELL and in the service department over 11 times 6 of them for the same thing!!! After so many trips to the dealer, have them check it, have the computers check it, have MB expert Techs check it, after so many conversations with so many managers, in the service dpt. at Alex-Rodriguez Mercedes-Benz in League City, TX and a case a manager Jennifer in customer service @ Mercedes Benz North America, NOTHING has been found by their computers. In other words Mercedes Benz mechanics, techs call them whatever you wish are only computer error codes readers and parts changers! They have no idea of the problems unless their PRECIOUS computer tells them whats wrong with the vehicles! I am exhausted, ready for another heart attack! Its not only all the inconveniences and stress this has caused my family, myself and my work, its also and the most important part of this problem, OUR SAFETY!!! Warning light comes on: a) Front Passenger Airbag Disabled, See Operators Manual; b) Front Passenger Airbag Enabled, See Operators Manual; c) ESP warning light also comes on (ESP stands for Electronic Stability Program)!!! The manual instructs you to take it to nearest dealer A.S.A.P. Mercedes-Benz does not want to honor their factory guarantee 4 years, 40,000 miles! According to Jennifer (case manager) at Mercedes-Benz North America Im not under factory guarantee, this vehicle today has 30,221 miles! I also have the Certified Pre-Owned warranty, this is meaningless to them! I have asked time and time again to exchange this vehicle that we are very scared to drive! God forbid theres an accident and the passenger in my vehicle get seriously hurt or worst, there is no money in the world to recompense a loss of a loved one!!!Ive asked all of them managers to write me a letter and guarantee me that the airbags will deploy in case of an accident and they all declined! I tried to speak with Mercedes Benz of Greenway (this is where I purchased this LEMON) and to add insult to misery, they wanted to make even more money off from me! They are a total joke! My salesman Rik is a total disappointment! After trying to speak to him on several occasions, he asked me to go through their legal department (company policy) all because I asked him if I should be looking for an attorney (thought for a moment there he was my friend). Nice going, MB of Greenway, make the sale and later bully people with your legal department! Now Im left with no other choice as to hire an attorney and sue them, they sold me a LEMON and they know it, theyre just making time for the guarantee to run out of time! Let me tell you people, Mercedes-Benz has sacrificed their quality for quantity, their integrity for money, their customer service for bullies!

I placed an order for a Mercedes S class through a leasing company in October, for January delivery. Having placed the order I asked the leasing company for confirmation that the car had been allocated by MB. The leasing company suggested I complain to MB and ask them to confirm allocation. I had both written and MB at that time and they seemed to be responsive to my complaint. I then had a call from a woman from MD in Holland and she confirmed that the car had been issued for production, with delivery in Mid January. I contacted the leasing company who subsequently confirmed that the dealer still had no confirmation of allocation. My attempts subsequently to clarify the situation have been a complete waste of time. MB Europe now consider that it is not a problem they will discuss because I dont have a contract directly with them and now it seems the conversation I had about delivery in January is a figment of my imagination. It never happened. In other words I am either an imbecile or a liar. The attitude I get from MB is its nothing that they will comment on. Just completely abandon any responsibility to meet their obligations and commitments. They have the nerve to challenge what I say when I have it in writing. Anyway, needless to say, Im appalled that they just couldnt give a damn.

Is MB serious with the ongoing Takata Airbag recall? I’ve been waiting patiently for over one year for replacement parts. They say... “The defect in your driver frontal airbag inflator on both driver and passenger frontal airbag inflation may cause the airbag to EXPLODE during airbag deployment and could result in metal fragments striking the front occupants, POSSIBLY CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH”. Our first Sprinter 2500 full size was a 2012 from Ray Catena in Union that was back for repairs 4-6 times prior to having 20,000 miles for problems with the DEF fuel additive shutting down the engine and leaving me stranded and towed at one time. Please lets not talk about the service department, unbelievable! Terrible! They offered to change my oil and do a Mandatory transmission flush otherwise it would void my warranty totaling out to $500.00 for both and then tried to hand me a bill for almost $900.00 and told me that the oil filter is a lambswool oil filter. When I went to my local oil change business in Eatontown, I requested the lambswool oil filter and they wanted to know why I would want that when a Mobil 1 filter came out from the last oil change at Mercedes Benz in Union, NJ. We made the mistake of buying another one a 2016 2500 Sprinter full size from Contemporary Mercedes Benz. This one had the alignment knocked out at 15000 miles and chipped up the tires to where there was patches of rubber missing and I was told that they could do a complimentary alignment but I was stuck with the tires that still shake the steering wheel. The air conditioner has not worked since we bought the truck and we have been being told that there is a fix coming any month now, since October of 2017. We are now coming into a second summer with the air not working when its over 75 degrees out and it is now May of 2018 and were told that they would offer us an extended warranty at no cost. MY QUESTION IS WHAT GOOD WOULD THAT WARRANTY DO IF THE CURRENT WARRANTY CANT FIX IT EITHER!!!! By the way we only have 23k on this new truck. I would have been better off buying a used vehicle off of a used car lot on the highway than a brand new vehicle from Mercedes Benz! What a joke.

In the dealership they told me to call Mercedes USA and after a long talk and wait from them they offer a 10% discount on the repair. A car that has always been serviced correctly and that is supposed to last 300,000 miles definitely does not. I come to make a statement of the worst auto customer service I have ever had. My wife and I contacted Mercedes-Benz dealer in Silver Springs, Maryland on January, 21st, 2017 to buy a 2017 Certified Pre-owned Mercedes GLC 300 4MATIC. After test-drive and negotiation, we decided to finance the car with a down payment. As it was Saturday evening and MB Financial services was already closed, all financial approval would be done next week.On the next Monday, January 23rd, I was informed by the dealer that in order to get the financing approved I had to cash down 50% of the value of the car and provide Bank Account statements, pay stubs, Lawful Permanent Resident ID and other documents. I was not surprised since I recently relocated to the USA and I already knew my Credit Score was low. So I made it happen by providing all documents required and by doing an International Wire Transfer to fulfill the amount necessary for the buy. As this transfer was done with urgency, I had to pay extra fees to get the money ready for buy.On Tuesday, January 24th, I was informed that the financing would had been approved and I no longer had to cash down 50% of the value of the car, but about 15%. And car would be delivered on Thursday afternoon, January 26th. In the meantime, I got the car insured and pay for the first monthly payment of it. On Thursday afternoon, Delivery Day, my wife and I returned our rental car and took an Uber to the MB dealer. Everything seemed usual until the big disappointment came. After we had signed part of the contract documents for the buy, we were informed by the manager that they did no longer had approval from MB Financial Services to our financing.Long story short, we came back empty handed, or better said by feet. We were rudely sent alway without any worry by dealer staff if we had the means to come back home. Not even a taxi was called. To conclude, together with all financial loss we had (early returning of a prepaid rental car, Uber, auto insurance and fees on international wire transfer), we suffered prejudice for being immigrants, although we are highly schooled people with Lawful Permanent Residency. The reputation of Mercedes-Benz as one of the greatest auto brands simply vanished for me and my family. The Star lost its bright!

I will be very brief. THIS IS THE WORST SUV YOU CAN GET. Having this experience now I would love to get Hyundai or 2 of them for the same price and live a quiet life with money leftover so I can go to Hawaii. Problems, problems and problems, MBUSA is a worst dealership in US which does not even stand behind their products. My local garage was more helpful than their service. Just an example (not to mention legendary brake light socket problems), both of my front doors power locks have stopped working after 15 months (could not survive one winter in New York due to cheap plastics used in actuators or something). Even my Ford Expedition truck is better quality than ML350 and I have never liked Ford quality. BUYER BEWARE: STAY AWAY FROM MERCEDES BENZ. I AM SURE THAT CHINESE ARE MAKING BETTER CARS THESE DAYS THAN GERMANS. SHAME ON THEM. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HEADACHE.

I visited the Dealership in Tampa Bay, Florida Mercedes Benz of Tampa Bay to get a diagnostic service since the car was signaling a malfunctioning alternator. I had to pay the diagnostics fee even though I still left without them telling if the alternator was the matter or not because the sales agents asked for me to buy a set of batteries for them to be able to check if the alternator was malfunctioning. The dealer fee was 149 dollars and they gave me a discount so I had to pay for approximately 120 dollars anyways. I find it very hard to believe that a dealership cannot check on the alternator by using one of their batteries if mine were not good enough for the job, which actually I have not had any issues with. I was very displeased with this treatment. I will not recommend this dealer to anyone.

I bought a new GLC 300 2020 in Jan 2020 and two weeks later the car started with weird behaviors; it was suddenly off or the battery was completely drained; the driving experience was good. Then 500 miles into the car and it got suddenly broken. The car wont even start so I had to towed it into the dealership. I bought my second GLA here in Brazil at a dealership called Itatiaia. When I picked up the vehicle on 21/oct/15, just as I was outside driving by the first block I noticed a noise coming from the front suspension. I drove back to the dealership and informed to the same person that delivered the car to me. He said it was probably a kind of dust that would disappear soon. After some days the noise was still there and I took the car to be service at another dealership EuropaMotors - that is situated just outside my home. I left the vehicle there on 29/oct/15 with 144km and it was appointed that the front left shock absorber was broken. They ordered a new part that took 3 long days to arrive.I bought a new car that came broken from the dealer. It is not a cheap car and Mercedes sold a car that was not even safe to go to the road!! (This part is essential to the security of the driver and passengers). I am very mad. After almost one week they returned me the car with the problem fixes, they said. Yesterday, the same noise appeared again. And now it is even louder!! I cant believe this is a serious company. I complained to the dealership and to the Mercedes Benz in Brazil. Nothing has been done to really solve the problem. I am now entering with an official complaint to the authorities and I hope to hear from Mercedes with a solution. I dont want to buy an expensive car and receive a broken cheap car as they are proposing to me.

Impolite then I was reprimanded that I was early YOUR APPOINTMENT IS 7.45”. Is there a charge $70.00. You’re kidding. Im not paying to have my tires put back on, WELL YOU BETTER TALK TO ANOTHER STAFF. In the meanwhile other staff are coming to work and exercising their legs getting limbered up for their job but nobody, says hello or BOO. Then Mr STAFF, came by 30 minutes later MR SHUTERMANN, non polite no effort to even come close to pronouncing my name. Then it even got stupider, Mr Staff WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO WITH YOUR TIRES. Now Im asking, “Is this a joke”, for 15 minutes’ worth of work Im there an hour now. My other issues about the car fuse cover keeps falling off and the front hood had permanent paint discoloring, when this was shown, Mr Staff YOU DONT KEEP YOUR CAR VERY CLEAN DO YOU. Now we really get bazaar. MR STAFF says YOU’RE CRITICIZING ME PERSONALLY. Wow now we’re going down a really dangerous ** path unbelievable, the ** show continues. Then Mr Staff asked me WHAT DO I DO FOR A LIVING. I expect an apology from senior Mercedes management. Completely unbelievable.

I went to the Rocklin, CA Mercedes Benz dealership to get a recall fixed on my car. I had a leak in the same place with that of the recall was in, so I thought it was that. We talked to a man named Wayne, and he helped us the whole time we were there. He said it would take an hour or a little longer, so we walked our three kids over to the park. By time we got back to the dealer, it was about 4:45-5:00. The man Wayne said he would check to see if our car was ready, then he pulled it up, leaving it running. We loaded the kids up, but my oldest was in the bathroom. So I went to get her. When I got back in the car, it was no longer running and would not start at all. We tried a couple times, and then, we got the man who had been helping us and told him what was going on. He came over and tried to start it, then he popped the hood. He started messing with the battery and said he thought we needed a new one. He said he was going to have someone come jump us. Well, that did not work at all, and as the tech was helping us, he noticed our seats felt real wet. The floors were wet too. Real wet. Still, I did not think anything of it. A few minutes went by, and another man came out, a tech one who works on cars. At that moment, they said that when they washed it, the sun roof was open a little and water got in our electrical gear and messed some electrical stuff up. So what I want to know is why did they not say that in the first place. They had to have a known cause. There had to have been water all over, when they opened the door. They had to dry it all up. They did not say anything to us and were going to let us leave. How did they know that fast what was wrong. They knew it had all got wet. I did not even know they were going to wash the car. I got my car back the next day (today). They came to my work and traded me cars, and it stinks so bad like mildew. I got a few opinions and have been told that it could never be the same. I dont know how extensive the damages are and what they fixed. They tried to get me off the lot as fast as possible, so it would not be their problem. But I know that I had my three kids and could have had my car just stop somewhere, and we could have gotten hurt. Now, I have a stinky car that I am still paying for, and I dont know if they fixed the whole problem.

I want to purchase a duplicate of my C280 1999 Mercedes Benz key, which I lost. In Bolivia, the Mercedes representative, Ovando **, says they cannot sell me the key duplicate and give me the full service, because I bought my car to the previous representative. They can only take care of the cars they sold. I bought my car from the official representative in year 2000. I kindly request your help, so that I can purchase the car key. Since I lost the car key of my Mercedes Benz, I want to find a way to solve the problem and get a duplicate. I have three children, and I am having too many problems, since I do not have transportation. Please reply ASAP.

I purchased my first Mercedes Benz, 2007 GL450 in 2010 from CarMax in Louisville. The car is very nice in luxury but has been a money pit from day one! After thousands of dollars in repairs, I still owe $12k and cannot afford to sell it with all the issues it has. I still need about $8000.00 more in repairs!Well, last night I drove to dinner with some friends. Approx. 45 miles rt. I parked it in my garage at 6:30pm. At 12:30 am I went out to the garage to take the trash out before retiring for the night and I felt heat from the Mercedes as if it had been in the sun for hours. I felt the hood and it was very hot on the right side of the front hood. So I pulled it outside the garage, in case of a fire! Mercedes does not intend to help me with this issue. I will have to call a tow truck today and be without my car. I was suppose to work in Chicago this week. Now I cannot. This is going to cost me loss in pay and tons of money. I am in fear of my life, but is need to work! I just read several reviews that this model has caught fire and destroyed homes and lives. I dont know where to turn for help. MB needs to recall these cars! ASAP! Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

I have a new 2018 Sprinter Van 3500 and because of needing a windshield repair discovered rust under the windshield on both side in the channel the windshield sites in from top to bottom. Mercedes is claiming that the rust is due to a conversion to a Class C RV as the roof of the cab was cut by the converter and metal particles caused rust to develop under the windshield and it is not a Mercedes problem. I am having a difficult time understanding how metal particles from a conversion would make their way under an already installed windshield on both side from top to bottom in the center of the channel, not at the outside edge. I am disappointed in what I thought was a quality product and the difficulty experienced with a Mercedes dealer in correcting the rust problem. Not wanting to correct the problem on this Mercedes Sprinter would cause me not to purchase another Mercedes.

First experience with Mercedes Roadside this week for a simple dead battery switch out was a cluster Got me hooked up with a 3rd party in Texas (Im in Florida). Took 4 MB customer care agents to finally arrange for the local dealer to bring one 4 hours later. Unrelated, just called customer service for recommended tire options for my S550 as the Pirellis they put on lasted 10,000 miles. Took 10 minutes to get a connection to a ringing phone that nobody ever picked up. Should have stuck with Audi. Not impressed at all!!

I was totally disappointed that GLK 250 does not have spare tire, nor run flats either. Sales person at Weber Motors in Edmonton never mentioned about this during the car walk around. During the last two weeks I got three nails and found not having a spare to be highly inconvenient. MB Canada has to make it mandatory for dealerships to inform customers about new situation with all BlueTEC vehicles. There also must be a choice for Canada to have a spare tire mounted on the rear door. Fuel economy or other concerns associated with this are not their business.

The turbo of my B Class has failed for the second time in just more than a year. The clock is on 62,000 km. Both times, Mercedes has towed the car in but didnt even ask if I need a courtesy car. I have to travel 40 km to work and back. I had to collect my car myself in Pretoria, 100 km from where I stay. Mercedes gave me a reason why the turbo failed each time and each time their comment was that it never happened before with a B class. If that is the true, it means my car is a defected car and actually should be replaced. They only give the reasons and stopped at that. Im not satisfied with just an answer from a company that is supposed to be one of the finest in the motor business. My husband bought me a Mercedes because its one of the best, but my trust in my vehicle on the road is ruined and I am scared for the next time the turbo fails, the car lost power and had a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust. Fortunately, I was near the school where Im teaching and could reach my destination. What if my car lets me down on a deserted road and Im alone? I really want somebody to give me more than an excuse and with a practical solution to my problem.

In June 2008, I bought Mercedes C 200 and until now the car did not reach 40,000 km as my use for the car is very limited (only for travel during weekends). All the regular services are usually done before the due time and only made in the official agent of Mercedes Benz in Cairo. On March 31, 2012 (last Saturday), I went to the agent German Auto Service (GAS) Heliopolis branch in Cairo to check why the car did not start properly. They found that the computer program required to be updated (which is normal and acceptable) and they found as well that the fuel float/pump is need to be changed as it might stop at any time. The senior engineer in the GAS (Mercedes agent) told me that this part should not malfunction with this few millage of the car (39000 km). He informed me that he will contact the company in Germany in order to change it for free or they might share in the cost. One hour later, the engineer came and said he is sorry, the company in Germany refused to do it and I have to pay the full 3,100 EGP. I refused to change and pay because I cannot believe that Mercedes Benz Corporation (considered number 1 worldwide) can accept not to take the responsibility of having short life part functioning properly for only 39000 km in its valuable and expensive products. I am bringing this to your attention and I am sure you will take the proper action to rectify this problem. Thank you.

I dont know yet the New Yorks > law. I think after 3 or 4 times, I should get a replacement. The dealership didnt even call me today as they promised me, to let me know what the story is and how long I have to wait for my truck. The admiration of Mercedes BENZ is a love affair of decades. The ML350 is currently ready to transport me to jazz club in Las Vegas. The auto ‘romance ‘ began in 1972 with a Fiat in Chicago. Yes! Snow, ice and one brave or silly girl. The ride, breadth, and finesse of driving is still as fresh as day one. Mercedes has my head, hand at the wheel and heart all in one. I am writing concerning my new S550 with the above referenced VIN number, which I picked up on May 16th from authorized Mercedes dealer, European Motor Cars of Devon, PA. I am a long time Mercedes owner and anticipated the continued combination of outstanding service and performance that has been the hallmark of my experience and for which Mercedes is renowned. The service at the dealership was excellent and I began the two plus hour drive home secure in the assumption that my decision to continue as a Mercedes customer was well founded. It was during this first drive that I noticed a minuscule stone strike the windshield adjacent to the rear view mirror with the result being a minute round indentation at the point of impact. I was initially alarmed that so small an object could cause such trouble but subsequent examination revealed the impact was tiny and almost imperceptible.I continued enjoying my new S550 on the daily commute from home to my medical practice until June 4th, when I was shocked to discover a new, approximately 15 inch long horizontal crack from the left side of the windshield to the passengers side. Unlike May 16th there was no observable incident or cause behind this new crack. I subsequently thoroughly examined the crack from outside and could not identify any sign of an impact site. Later that day, I called the MBUSA customer service center to report the windshield crack and ascertain what remedies were available under the vehicles warranty terms, especially considering I had the car less than three weeks. The service representative I spoke to advised me to take my car to an authorized Mercedes dealership service center where the windshield would be examined. I was also told that it was not necessary for me to return to my dealer, European Motor Cars of Devon, PA for service as long as I took the car to an authorized Mercedes dealer. The next day I made the arrangements and took my car to Mercedes of Massapequa in Massapequa, NY.The service manager examined the damage and suggested that what had probably occurred was a tiny stone had struck the windshield. He further advised me that unfortunately he sees many S550s with cracked windshields based on the high definition of the glass used in Mercedes windshields; the problem is one that Mercedes is aware of and one that Mercedes is working diligently along with their European suppliers to correct. He also advised me that based on this issue and the corresponding large number of S550s requiring replacement windshields, there is a long back order period, currently over 30 days, and accordingly I would have to wait until the end of July before my windshield could be replaced. He assured me that based upon all these issues, especially the known windshield defect, he would call MBUSA to make certain my windshield replacement would be covered under my warranty.Unfortunately, when the service manager called me back the next day, he told me that MBUSA denied his request to fully cover my windshield replacement under warranty. He told me that the approximate cost for the windshield replacement would be $2,263.00 and I was being offered a 50% valued customer credit by MBUSA with the end cost to me being more than $1,000.00. Considering my long standing relationship with Mercedes and the facts and circumstances particular to this issue I decided to call MBUSA directly. I asked for the representative assigned to my situation and was informed only that ** was my representative and that he would call me the next day. Despite this assurance I never received a call from **, and after waiting for his call, I decided to call him directly. I called several times and left several messages on his extension requesting he call me immediately to discuss my concerns. Despite this, none of my calls were returned by ** and after growing frustration I called another customer care representative to express my displeasure. It was during this call that the representative ** finally answered his phone and immediately and without provocation began haranguing me in a most unprofessional, discourteous and frankly rude manner. He claimed that the windshield is not a warranty issue and that I would be obligated to replace it myself for the full cost cited by the Massapequa service manager, without the discount previously offered. When I expressed concern with the condition of the car and the possibility of issues associated with driving the car with the windshield in its current condition until the late July date I was told when I could expect service, ** sarcastically told me that perhaps I should instead rent a replacement car from Hess Car Rental, but that I would still be responsible for lease payments in the interim. Following this reminder of my payment obligations, ** hung up on me. I have tried to repeatedly to call him again to discuss my concerns, without success, and without the courtesy of a return phone call, despite my repeated voicemail messages. After a myriad of unsuccessful attempts to speak to ** again, following my only phone conversation with him, I decided to address my concerns with his supervisor. When I again called MBUSAs customer service center and requested to speak with a supervisor, I was told that what I was asking was impermissible. I was further told that the only customer service representative with whom I was allowed to speak with was **; the same ** who had treated me so disgracefully and who had hung up on me during my one and only phone call with him. I was and remain shocked at the statement that my request to speak with a supervisor was denied and that I would only be permitted to discuss my situation with a single customer service representative, especially one who had treated me in such an unprofessional, rude fashion. Is this the policy for all of MBUSAs customers or am I, as one would suspect, the sole recipient of such shabby treatment? Since my phone call with ** I have called several authorized Mercedes service centers to inquire about the availability of an S550 windshield replacement. Every call was answered the same, no windshield replacements are available, several cars are awaiting the same service and the problem concerns a defect that both Mercedes and its suppliers are actively working to address. Since my initial call with MBUSA on the 4th a new secondary crack, approximately 30 inches long, has appeared just above the first. This new crack, along with the first, has rendered the vehicle unsafe to operate. Additionally the rising heat and humidity substantially increases the risk of further cracking and the potential for a catastrophic windshield failure, this is unacceptable. As initially indicated my experience with Mercedes has on the whole, until this most recent incident, especially the outrageous treatment by ** and the MBUSA telephone customer service center, been satisfactory. However I have previously had issues with Mercedes, issues which I was subsequently forced to address through lemon law litigation. The result of said litigation was a nearly unqualified vindication of my claim. I would prefer to resolve this current situation amicably but am prepared to assert my rights vigorously through but not limited to the same procedure. This current situation is made additionally urgent by virtue of the fact that my car is currently operating with a Pennsylvania dealer inspection sticker and has been since my purchase on May 16th. This sticker is valid for 30 days and therefore expires tomorrow, June 16th. The vehicle will not pass inspection in its current condition and is therefore now unusable. I therefore demand either my vehicle be repaired and restored to drivable condition immediately or I be provided a replacement vehicle by Mercedes without charge until such time as it is repaired and returned to a drivable condition. I further demand that any replacement vehicle provided be at least equal to or superior then my current vehicle, model S550. If said replacement vehicle is of a lesser quality, an appropriate adjustment must be made in my lease payment. I would also expect the full cost of the repairs be covered under warranty. Failure to respond and adequately address these demands will result in immediate action being taken through civil litigation, consumer protection enforcement and any and all other applicable processes. With that in mind your immediate attention and response to this correspondence is anticipated and expected. Thank you for your attention to this matter and I look forward to your immediate response.

I cannot express in words my disappointment and disgust in my recent experience with Mercedes-Benz. I will never own another model. It is certainly not what I would expect from a luxury car or a first-class dealership. I researched for several weeks before choosing to purchase and finally deciding on the GLA. The fact that it was a Mercedes made the decision easier for me as I knew it would be a car that would be flawless and have unmatched resale value. I purchase a new 2016 GLA 250 on July 18, 2016. After driving my brand new GLA for only 2 weeks, I took it in for an unusual wind noise coming from the drivers side window. I trusted that because the car was sold to me with an obvious factory default, the dealership would make every effort to remedy this problem and ensure customer satisfaction. I was heartbroken to be told that it could not, and would not, because the noise was due to the way the car was factory-made and attempting to do any repairs would void the extended warranty that I had purchased. To date, no one from the dealership or Mercedes-Benz has contacted me or made an attempt to remedy this situation. Unfortunately, because of this experience, this will be the first and last Mercedes-Benz I will ever own. The unfortunate thing for Mercedes-Benz of Beaumont, whether they realize it or not, is that my husband is a bank president in a small town about 25 miles west of Beaumont, that has three locations, and I work in a thriving school district in a town 30 miles east of Houston. Between the two of us, we know a great deal of people. We know first-hand, about customer service and how vital it is to a business, large or small. We intend to tell everyone we know of our horrendous experience with that dealership. To add insult to injury, I have since received an email indicating that I have received new inquiries on my credit, which may lower my credit score. It did indeed change my credit score by significantly dropping it several points. The report details show they are all due to inquiries from Mercedes Benz. After contacting MBUSA by phone and in writing, this is the response I have received: Hi Pam, thanks for your patience. Your comments have been shared with our colleagues at MBUSA and we regret to hear of your continued dissatisfaction. Our colleagues advise, that they have already confirmed their position with regards to your vehicle. For this reason, they will not be making further contact with you at this stage. We appreciate your understanding. Kind regards, your Mercedes-Benz Social Media Team. I have started the process to cancel my extended warranty and will be selling my GLA as soon as possible. I have reviewed the GLA on several websites unfavorably and plan to file a report with the Better Business Bureau regarding the horrendous customer service at Mercedes-Benz of Beaumont. For a company known for first class customer service and satisfaction, you should be embarrassed to have colleagues such as those at MB-Beaumont in your employ. I have since read countless reports of the same wind noise from other owners on various websites. DO NOT PURCHASE A GLA!!! As for me, I will NEVER drive another Mercedes. There are plenty of other luxury models to choose from.

40,840 Mile service on 2012 E-350. We had our 7 year (70,000 Mi.) service but only 40,840 miles on vehicle completed at Mercedes of Hilton Head which cost $785.46. All prior services, from our purchase in 2012 with 12,000 miles, completed at Mercedes of Hilton Head. They discounted this to $657.37 after I raised heck for billing me $6 for washer fluid I had just filled. The year before the annual service was $902.90. Then I got the breakdown on additional recommendations as follows 1) Replace Transmission mount found collapsed $254.09, 2) Repack and adjust front wheel bearings $518.97, 3) Reseal Left Front Cylinder Head Cover $278.27, 4) Reseal Both Left Side Cam Magnets $291.28, 5) Reseal Right Front Cylinder Head Cover $293.18, 6) Reseal Both Cam Magnets on Right Cylinder Head $395.58 For a total of $2031.37.The last year we put on 4,000 miles with no mention of any of these issues in prior years. While I understand somewhat (again usually 100,000 miles) the repacking needs, the other two items were completely a failure of the vehicle to perform properly and unusual failure (I would hope) of things that I have had cars with over 150,000 miles without issues. I called Corporate, after the dealer gave no assistance, as I thought those repairs should be covered with such low mileage and care given to the car throughout its life. They offered $600 off if all service was completed at the dealership. Ive had a Buick that was 2 years out of warranty with 42,000 miles engine replacement all the way to the torque converter because of the engine failure and cost me $100.00. I always thought Mercedes was a quality vehicle, and I was sadly mistaken. Do NOT Buy Mercedes.

I bought a new car (supposed to be), a Mercedes C180 in October 2009. After one year, the right shock absorber has been changed. I told the maintenance service provider in Alexandria, Abis that they have to change the 2 shock absorbers (as I am a mechanical and marine engineer and I have some knowledge of mechanical issues). Anyway, they changed just the right one.4 months later, the left shock absorber was damaged (and its normal). So we have to change the left shock absorber. But really, they changed the 2 front shock absorbers finally. Then 3 months later, the car didnt start up in the morning. The service said it was the injection pump. Ok, Im still in the guarantee limit. The car still didnt reach 30,000 km. They said that it is my fault as the fuel was not clean and there was water in it. Ok, I paid around 3000 Egyptian pounds. 3 days later in the morning, the car didnt start up. So the service came, and they said it is the fuel pump again. Is that logical?! The guarantee of fuel pumps is 6 months, so I have to buy it again. The car is now 40,000 km in almost 2 years and a half. Do I have to change 3 shock absorbers and 2 fuel pumps in two years and half?! Dear sir, I bought a Mercedes Benz car, not a logo of Mercedes..Thank you.

We spent all that money with an expectation of safety, reliability and the peace of mind promised by mercedes benzs multi point inspection, warranty up to 50,000 miles and the extra repair package that we purchased. Recently we noticed that when we first start driving the car has a noise on the right side, the noise is most noticeable when applying the brake and when releasing the brake. On December 2nd, we took the car to Mercedes Benz of Valencia and to say that the service department staff was UNWILLING TO HELP is a gross understatement. The service manager was derelict of his responsibility. First he said there was no loaner vehicle available therefore, no one could examine our car, when in fact I had called twice to confirm that a loan vehicle would be available to us when making the appointment. Then second he said nothing could be done to examine the noise in our car because the car had been in an accident, therefore warranty was not attached, but could not show me any of that in writing. Further, the accident was a minor one with only minor body damage which amounted to a $3,400 repair job and no engine damage was sustained. We stressed on multiple occasions that we needed to establish whether the noise was engine related or a result of accident related body damage. They eventually did agree to keep the car for examination, they called the following day on December 3rd and told us to come and get the car. Bill the service representative stated that they heard the noise when applying the brake and said there is nothing they can do because the brakes on the car are new and that they do not know what is causing the noise nor what could be wrong with the car. We are concerned and, worried about our safety, not to mention flabbergasted that the auto manufacturers employees are unwilling to diagnose the problem and are demonstrating a blatant disregard for brand integrity or customer safety. There was no report given to on what type of examination or assessment if any at all was performed on the car. There was no print out of areas examined and findings observed, it appears they kept or car overnight and called us in the morning to fetch it. Given that brakes are a very important part of vehicle operation we are shocked that the service department has displayed such a lackadaisical attitude towards a potential safety risk. We purchased the car which has up to 50,000 mile warranty or 7 years whichever occurs first and the additional repair package for peace of mind expecting to get the proper service that would address any issues and instead we were told by the vehicle manufacturer service department that there is nothing they can do and further they do not know what is causing the malfunction in a car manufactured by Mercedes and covered by a 50,000 mile warranty. There is something very wrong with that.

2012 SLK 350. MBUSA, I do not agree with your companys position. To date, we had the roof trim replaced, the roof trim brackets broken (in shop for repairs), the door panels replaced, the roof cover replaced, and we are waiting for the glove box door (the material on existing one is delaminating). In addition, there are paint flaws caused by poor handling (according to MBUSA). And, after all this, I do not hear any embarrassment or indication of compensations for my troubles from MBUSA or Daimler. I am starting to believe this is standard quality for Mercedes Benz.I agree, having an MB approved body shop do anything to the paint could reduce the cars value (if the value is not already compromised due the number and type repairs already accomplished). At this point, I feel I have the following options: 1) We can file a Lemon Law Claim or other legal claim. This option is not optimum for anyone and my wife will not let me. 2) We keep the car; but given the current position of MBUSA, it is very unlikely I will ever have anything good to say about Mercedes Benz. And my family will never buy another MB product and I will do my best to dissuade my friends, co-workers, people I meet, from buying a Mercedes Benz car. 3) We can trade/sell it and buy some other companys car. I have two very good vehicles from Toyota and BMW. Unfortunately, I fear the trade-in value of this car may be very inconsistent with the possibly overstated quality of MB. 4) We can come to an agreement about compensation/price adjustment. My wife likes the car and we would consider buying another Mercedes Benz in a few years.Honestly, I prefer option 4. You have my money and you can maintain your position, but ask yourselves what if? What if, given all the defects we forced on this consumer, we agreed to compensation of a few thousand dollars for the actual depreciated value to save ourselves more than $30K, $40K, $50K (times friends and family) in future sales. I appreciate your further consideration.

I live in NH, purchased 2017 GLC 300 in the Spring and was told I would need winter tires (which I always need on my SUVs). Salesperson did not tell me I wouldnt be able to get snow tires for this car. The tires are run flats and the size is a rare run fast snow tire size. MB USA told me I could purchase regular snow tires, but then I would have to purchase a new wheel and tire for a spare at the cost of over $700 just for the spare! Even if I wanted to buy a spare, the car is designed for run flat tires only and there is no place to store the tire and no jack, etc. I told MB that I refuse to buy 5 regular snow tires, and lug the smelly spare around in the back of my car. Additionally, it would take up all the space that I use for luggage, groceries, etc. I am insisting on returning the car. I spent a lot of time considering a new SUV, and would have immediately taken the GLC 300 off the list if I had been informed of this situation. So, here I am in NH, living on a steep dirt road without snow tires.

Thanks to diminishing quality and outrageous dealer charges, depreciation on these cars is huge. If you avoid the hand grenades like air suspension, brake issues (2003-2006), exploding early 350 motors, and are prepared to never go near a dealer, you get an outstanding low mileage used car. I have a 1999 E320, purchased in 2009 with 45K miles, well under $10k. I now have 82k on it, and apart from a little A/C work, it has been trouble free and a pleasure to drive. Yes, oil changes are expensive at about $100, but are only required every 12k miles. I also have a 2007 CLK350 Cabrio, purchased last year with only 24k miles for under $20K. I have put about 10K miles on it so far, and it is as reliable and pleasant as the E320.

I wanted to post this to hopefully let potential customers know what to ask their dealership when thinking of purchasing a GLC 300. I apologize for the long length, but, think it will give some insight into the possible multiple problems. Keep reading: My wife and I purchased a 2016 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 4Matic in March of 2016 - - our first and only Mercedes. Within 6 months of purchase, the brakes starting to emit an ear piercing squealing when in reverse. We contacted the dealership and were told that there was a design problem with the brake pads and new parts were being worked on.In the interim, the brakes started squealing in forward as well. We waited from September, 2016 until the beginning of 2017 before new pads were put on. Later in the year we began to hear tire noise inside the vehicle. We had a second maintenance service scheduled and done on December 9, 2017 and informed the dealership of the tire noise. After their investigation, we were told that we needed to purchase new tires, although, the mileage on the tires was at 18,935 miles. The Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires on the vehicle are rated for 65,000 miles. At the same time, we also experienced a clicking noise near the drivers door. The explanation for this was noise coming from the high pressure fuel pump. Not sure why we didnt hear the same noise when the vehicle was brand new. Also, the brake squealing also started again. We were informed, after having to ask, that Mercedes was working on yet another fix, but, parts were not yet available. We are still waiting for the new brake parts. This was just a prelude to what was coming. On January 4, 2018 my wife was driving home from work. The vehicle began to shake, sputter, and she could not get the vehicle to accelerate. By the time she reached home, 8 miles, the car was smoking profusely. After contacting the dealership, the car had to be towed. We were contacted the next day, January 5, by the Service Manager. We were told that a call was placed to the engineers in Germany because this had never happened before, even though there are several posts on various internet sites that dispute that statement.Due to the dealership not having a loaner vehicle available, we had to rent a car from January 5 until January 15 this was reimbursed by Mercedes. On January 15 we did receive a loaner vehicle from the dealership. On January 24 a call from the dealership informed us that the torque converter had gone bad and needed to be replaced. The mileage on the vehicle at this time was approximately 19,500 miles. Finally, on January 30 we received a call indicating our vehicle would be ready on Thursday, February 1. We met with the Service Manager upon arrival at the dealership and reviewed all the issues we experienced with the vehicle up to that point. We then began driving back home. When we were about 20 miles from home, a check oil level indicator message appeared on the instrument panel. When we arrived home, I checked the oil level and found that it barely registering on the dipstick. We were instructed to have the vehicle towed back to the dealership. They started looking at the vehicle on Monday, February 5. They called and informed us that the oil had not been touched in any way during the torque converter work, but, they needed more time to determine where the oil was going. They will continue to investigate as of tomorrow, February 3.

The button that ascends the rear shades doesnt work. As of today, Mercedes in White Plains has not called me to let me know whats wrong with my car. It appears Mercedes Benz reputation for good customer service is truly in decline. The staff has been nothing but unresponsive and inattentive to customers needs. I was enticed by Mercedes to buy this car. I was told that there would be only 150 in the United States and that you could never buy the same model with the color of the anniversary edition. That was all fine. They did not sell the color and there were only 150 made. However!!! When the 2019 E400 came out you can walk into the showroom and buy the car with the same color as my 25 year anniversary edition. Very poor of the mercedes company to do that. I have owned probably 7 or 8 Mercedes in my life, and I have bought last one I will ever buy. The car has devalued a lot because of this. I am looking into filing with the Better Business Bureau against such lousy practice of such a large company. I will never buy another Mercedes and I will tell everyone to never trust what they have to offer. So please!!! In my opinion look elsewhere before you buy and overpay for a Mercedes... Look at Audi or BMW before you trust this company.

Mercedes S550 is one beautiful vehicle. I own three of them. I just fell in love with this vehicle the very first time I saw one. Great ride, one of the best I ever rode in! Quiet ride, to the point where you feel so comfortable you want to rest instead of driving this vehicle. Now there is a good side to anything and there is the other side! Someone once said if you have to ask the price you must not have the ability to afford the cost to make repairs! First order of business, vehicle warranty a MUST! You ended up selling your first child to keep it on the road. Average maintenance cost per year $2,000 to $3,500 even if you have a good warranty. Tires, tune up, head lights for starters. The ride, the looks, the style might be worth the price to you.

Bought my first car (this being the 2020 plate 70 reg A-Class PHEV premium plus 1.3L hatchback), and unfortunately the navigation system and customer aftercare was ATROCIOUS. I was back in the Merc showroom a week after I purchased the car due to the speedometer showing 70mph on the side streets and 20mph on a motorway! There was also NO sight of the mandatory accessories that were in the car. The ENGINEERS said that a full download WASNT completed on this BRAND NEW fully fitted, TOP OF THE RANGE vehicle and even after them taking my car in for the day, its still NOT WORKING. When requesting an initial check up of the car (due to the navigation system failing and taking the longer routes around town) he told me to press the SOS system in the car which directs you to air ambulance, then a roadside engineer (both who said the whole situation has heightened due to the fault of the salesman). The inadequacy of the sales team is awful especially with their customer aftercare and ’support. When the car arrived, the salesman who I dealt with didnt bother showing me any of the cars gadgets, the car wasn’t even full charged on the electric - there was no effort made when presenting the car which was very disappointing. The car is a premium plus (top of the range) meaning that all the extra features such as the cable are meant to come with the car. When questioning the salesman I dealt with, he refused to acknowledge that the accessories came with the car and stopped replying to my messages giving no response! It was only after dealing with the engineer, we pushed for the already paid for accessories. Being a loyal customer, we had foresight of purchasing another vehicle however, due to the REPETITION OF TERRIBLE experiences with the car, customer services, problematic navigation…. I’m appalled! The whole experience was very troublesome, lack of support was given from the Mercedes Leicester team, there was absolutely no aftercare provided. The car’s navigation and speedometer is STILL NOT WORKING. I don’t recommend anyone to purchase this new vehicle, especially from the Leicester branch. Very disappointed.

My car went to Mercedes Benz Witbank in August 2011, after I received it back from Mercedes Benz East Rand. The car was involved in a minor accident. After I received it back from East Rand, I complained about a noise in the engine. I booked it in to evaluate the problem. On the day that I was supposed to take it in, the alternator packed up. I phoned road side assistance for help. They left me next to the road for four hours, and then took my car to Witbank. The alternator was replaced but nothing was done to the noise in the engine. The service manager told me that I must drive the car until the service was due, which I did. On the 19th of October 2011, my car was booked for a service. I reminded them about the noise in the engine. That afternoon, I received a call from them, informing me that the hydraulic lifters needs to replaced. I was informed that it is not wise to drive my car like that, and they will only receive the parts after three weeks. They told me that I have to pay in over R10,000.00 as part of my contribution. I contacted my insurance. They are willing to pay my share if they receive a full report from Mercedes Benz. I contacted them and asked them for a report. They told me that they cannot assist me with a report, as it is confidential information. They cannot assist me with a loan vehicle, as they dont have any. I reported this to Mercedes Benz South Africa. After many phone calls, they told me that I must come and collect my car and drive it, until the parts arrive. I phoned the service manager and asked them for a letter, stating that if I do drive my car, that there will be no additional damage to the engine, and they must take responsibility. They agreed to that. That was 13:00 today. They promised me an email in 15 minutes. At 15:30, I phoned back and they told me they are busy sending the mail to me. At 16:50 I phoned again. The guy that promised me the mail, will only be back on Wednesday. I dont know what to do or who to contact.

Dealer agreed to repaint. After 1 year its happening again (Color is Mars Red). Car went into lock mode and wouldnt start. Had to be flat bedded to dealer. Blower motor for heat/air burned out. SRS system set off trouble codes dealer. Said bad seat belt parts. Car is out of warranty and have to pay for everything. Never owned such a junk!Bought New ML250 Bluetec Diesel. Just turned 20,000 miles on 4/4/17. Driving down road and starting surging. Went a little further down road and surging again. This time smelling Diesel fuel. Started smoking from under hood. Car broke down. Had to be flat bedded into dealer. Dealer said Fuel leak and all other related damage from fuel spraying on engine is due to rodent damage and warranty is not covering anything. Want to charge me $4500 to $5000 for repair.I dont believe there was any rodent damage and the fuel leak was caused by faulty parts. We drive the car every day. It doesnt sit around. I also drove it all day on 4/4/17 and this happened at 2:30 pm after driving all morning. I opened hood on roadside to make sure it wasnt on fire. Didnt see any signs on rodent nesting or anything. The car is under warranty and extended warranty and they wont cover anything. This is terrible customer service/relations. We are done with Mercedes-Benz. We will tell everyone we know. What is the sense of having warranty when they wont honor it. Rodent or not. Fix it. Warranty it. Its called customer service. What about the oil leak recall... which we havent got. I say that ruined the wires or harness and the oil ate through and that caused the problem. MB wont own up to these problems. When the MB Rep called me back she agreed with the dealers decision. Terrible. We are talking about New Vehicles $100,000 worth of JUNK. Our lawyer will be getting informed of these issues. We also filed a complaint with NHTSA.

In Oct 2012, 1 week before Sandy, I purchased a lease from the above and traded in my vehicle. At the time of the transaction, the dealer took my vehicle and I signed a contract for my current lease. The only amount of payment indicated on the contract was my first month payment. Ive recently experienced unacceptable and despicable customer service regarding that purchase. I was temp displaced from my home following the weather events. Upon my return to my home, I received notification that I was responsible for a lease penalty for over mileage in the amount of $2500. At the time, I figured Mercedes did not update their system to reflect the new lease purchase. This was during the second week of Nov. I had my license plates put on my new vehicle on the 16th of Nov and inquired about the notification to Claudio **, the salesman who sold me the lease. At that time, he explains that I have to work that through Mercedes Financial or I could have had that rolled into my new lease payment. I spoke to his boss, Peter, on 16 Nov. who told me there was nothing that they could do although they wish they could. On 17 Nov., I had to travel out of town for work and then came the holiday. I contacted Claudio last week, and asked to discuss this matter with the district manager. I was told to call him this evening. His name is Scott. Scott explained to me that I missed a window of opportunity after I spoke with Peter. I had 24 hours to respond in person. That opportunity consisted of redoing my contract so that the $2500 which was never brought to the table during the deal process could be rolled into my new monthly payments. However, when I spoke to Peter, I was told that there was nothing he could do so this window of opportunity was in fact never presented to me in writing nor verbally.I explained this to Scott who seemed surprised. I have asked Scott to send me all of this information in writing explaining that a window of opportunity was presented and it is no longer valid. No other options have been presented to me. I am a disabled veteran who has been a loyal customer with Mercedes since 2007. Now that the deal has been made, Im being treated poorly because the entire terms of agreement at the time that the deal was made, were not explained to me either verbally or in writing. I only went into this new lease agreement because according to the terms of agreement that were laid out, that I was informed of, it was a great deal. I have since been blindsided with the omission of a lease penalty I would be responsible for upon accepting the deal. The fact that the $2500 lease penalty or any lease penalty for that matter fee was never brought up during the entire deal process is a tremendous error on that entire sales team. I am kindly requesting your assistance for a viable solution because this type of treatment is unwarranted and completely unprofessional.I have since contacted the CEO, Mike Morais, and received a response from him in Dec 2012 apologizing and informing me that he would look into this matter and get back to me. I have sent follow up correspondence as there is not a listed number for him to no avail. I have informed Mercedes Benz Financial from beginning to end about this matter. They too have tried contacting the dealership to no avail. Ultimately, I am responsible for full payment and this is a hardship which I have explained and have attempted to work with Mercedes Benz Financial to make payments to avoid delinquencies. However, my account was recently submitted to a collections agency as I was unable to make the minimum amount requested by Mercedes Benz Financial. I did work out a plan with the collection agency that is within my budget constraints. However, this situation should have never come to this. My vehicle to this was in mint condition and the only reason why I traded it in is because I was tricked into a deal. Thank you for your time and attention.

As a first time lease owner of my fist Mercedes C-class this was a huge disappointment. Prepaid for 2 services at the beginning of the lease just to find out that they expire 2 years after and not by the end of the lease how they made me think. Was only less than a month after my expiration that I took car for service B and now on top of my already paid $500 I must pay again. This is beyond dishonest and most terrible customer treatment Ive ever encountered. Called the office and spoke to Juan who was only able to get a partial credit for the service I now have to pay for the second time. How would you like paying for service twice? Also, on the phone with Mercedes customer service I was blackmailed by Juan (phone number: **) not to write my honest review about this situation or they would take away even the partial credit they just gave me that only partially covers my second charge for the same service I already paid for when I signed up for the lease! It was so unprofessional and disgusting to be blackmailed to stay away from writing this honest review that made me even more compelled to do so because I want to warn all future unsuspected new customers of how they will be treated as well. I will not be buying my future vehicles from them and so is my family. I only want to give my business to places that truly appreciate their customers and with lots of great competitors out there it will be easy to do. You dont want to be tricked, lied to, especially as a first time customer into something that will screw you later and they wont even care about it. Everyone should know before becoming a customer of theirs that they treat their customers in the worst possible manner without any care and with great amount of unprofessionalism by blackmailing them to speak the truth. Did not expect this coming from this car maker of this magnitude but be warned and stay away.

Purchased a new 2015 GLA250 4matic. Had nothing but problems with the car. Last Saturday it was not drivable at all anymore (so much for a almost new car). Roadside assistance from Mercedes made me wait 4 hours after they decided not to show up at all. Me, my friends called them several times. We got hanged up, put on hold for a total of 75 minutes. Had to go back on Sunday so they finally could tow it. Called customer service and they did not care at all. Too bad. My last Mercedes and also as a shareholder I am disgusted by their behavior.Updated on 11/07/2016: My now 2 year old GLA has to go to the dealership for the 5 time for repairs. The car is an absolute nightmare. The quality of MB has gone down badly and they are truly not worth the price. For 40000 I could have gotten a super equipped x1. I have to say again: after my lease is over I never go back to MB.

We purchased a 2010 GLK 350 with around 70,000 miles on it. It performed well for several years although the headlights do not light far enough down the road. The driver seat MB-Tex upholstery failed in two places very quickly. $1100 repair. At about 100,000 miles the car would not start. The electronic ignition system had to be replaced for $2000. It had Takata airbags so my wife refused to drive it while we waited a year or so for them to be replaced. While waiting, the passenger door lock stopped working so that the door would not open. $1000 repair. About the time the airbags were replaced during the last year two other messages occurred on the dash. Problem with driver seatbelt connection and problem with the passenger seat sensor. $2400 to repair. We are ready to sell it to avoid more repairs.

I leased a Mercedes ML350 in 2012. We loved it, so we purchased the 2012 (husband drives it) and ordered a 2014 ML for me. From day one we have had so many electrical weird glitches on the 2014. It has an automatic lift gate that worked when it felt like it for almost two years. I took the car into the dealership constantly and of course they said all was fine and they could not find the problem. Particularly helpful is for the lift gate to not go up when you have your arms full of groceries. Finally, one day (2 years later), the lift gate got stuck halfway open. Went to the dealership and this time they said that the motor was defective. Really??? The lift gate door still doesnt always release and open but at least it works 90% of the time. The automatic unlock on the 4 doors also worked intermittently since the day I picked the car up. I brought the car in countless times for all these issues. Finally they did something to the doors and it is better now. I would say it works 80 to 85% of the time. And, I am pretty excited about that! I still have to dig my keys out of my purse which again is generally when I have packages in my arms or late at night in a parking lot. As I write this I realize that these are first world problems but when you pay upwards of $65,000 for a car, you expect the quality to be there and your features that you have excessively paid for, to work. My favorite thing about the car is... it has a forward collision warning system that senses a car in front of you has slowed down or stopped and if you do not slow down it gives a very loud beep, beep, and a flashing warning on the instrument panel. The first time this engaged was on a country road where I was the only person on the road going about 50 MPH. No one in front of me for miles and then the load beep, beep and flashing red triangle appeared. It scared me to death!Mostly it engages when no one is around. Randomly, loudly and making me jump out of my seat. One time that feature actually engaged when it was appropriate. Today I was driving home and the traffic came to a complete stop and I was slow to notice it. But of course, neither did my car. I slammed on my brakes and all was well. I have taken the car in to see if they could fix this problem and of course they NEVER find the problem. I have cup cooling and heating (yes, first world problems) but that doesnt work either because the fuse that runs that and the cigarette lighter blow constantly whether I use the items or not. Well, I dont smoke but it would be nice to use my phone charger. In the two and 1/2 years I have owned the car I managed to coordinate once having a hot beverage that I wanted to stay hot whilst driving and the heating cup holder actually working. Finally at the dealership they gave me a bag of fuses so I could change them myself. NICE!!! How about we fix the the problem!!! My complaints have fallen on deaf ears. There is a lot of talk at the dealership about taking care of the problems but they never do. I am now convinced that when I service my car they take it back to the bay and park it and dont really try to do anything to it. Mostly I am so extremely disappointed in the Mercedes product. Shortly after we purchased our leased 2 year old 2012 ML with 38,000 miles on it, the drivers seat MB-Tex wore out and started tearing. We had a ten year old Mercedes with the MB TEX that had over 120000 miles on it and the interior was pristine! We had another ML AMG that had 168000 on it and that leather interior was perfect. I think the product has seriously deteriorated. I dont think my leather in my 2014 will make it to lease end date. The service department at our local MB dealership is deplorable. Our family has owned 5 Mercedes but this is my very last one. I fear that our 2012 wont make the 50000 mile mark. I CANT WAIT TO GET RID OF THIS CAR! I strongly suggest you buy ANY brand but MB.

I leased a brand new vehicle GLA250 that has a random ghost acceleration that cannot be fixed. The front differential had to be completely replaced at 4,700 miles on it. Then the tires went bald at 5,000. Then the gym service manager Mark ** says the cars drivetrain can’t handle potholes and these types of problems are common with Mercedes Benz. Their insurance recommendation also refuses to cover this car. It’s been a nightmare as I also ran over the neighbors child as the car suddenly accelerated. Was told to leave the car running for 2 minutes before driving which obviously made no difference. The only excuse is they cannot replicate so they cannot help.Their insurance company says it makes no difference whether they can replicate the issue and should pull the unsafe vehicle from use. But instead they sent this email notifying me that they won’t help or resolve or even respond to the safety concerns “no guarantee that assistance will be provided.” Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is currently reviewing your request concerning the 2016 GLA250W4 bearing vehicle identification number **. We want to set a clear expectation that there is no guarantee that assistance will be provided. Our review process typically takes 4 to 6 weeks; during that time we will be evaluating a review of all repair orders, the number of down days related to those repairs, the overall repair history and your individual state’s statutes.

The Mercedes E350 has been around since 2006. This engine is a true workhorse, which is featured on a variety of body styles. I have owned two of them, the first on a lease and the second one a purchase. Although my current E350 is a 2013 model, it still looks new in style and condition. I have found it extremely reliable and with the MB Certified warranty, a wise buy. There are a number of great improvements to this model each year, but my current 2013 is as good as them all. I will not hesitate to recommend the E350 to anyone seeking a great-looking, luxury car. I found it to be very cost effective to purchase a Mercedes.

My vacuum pump and hydraulic system on the trunk locking mechanism has failed. Cannot open trunk with any of the three methods of design. The Dealer laughed at me and said it would cost me over three thousand dollars to fix everything and that was a guess. No help at all other than they said I had to drill out the key hole with tumblers and try to manually open it that way. So I drilled out the mechanism on a car that cost over 120,000 thousand dollars to get into my trunk. Now the problem is the dealer would not code my key to a used lock and said I had to buy one from them at over 500 dollars and they would key that one to my lock. Then I would still have to pay to fix the vacuum pump and hydraulic pump to use my trunk. Frustrated due to the fact of price gouging and poor design from the engineers to make a trunk that is very difficult to open. I cannot lock my car or trunk because it has a smart key that is extremely difficult to use. I will never buy another Mercedes-Benz car again. I will also encourage everyone I know not to buy one.

Luckily it has happened close to my home. The first time MB replaced the wiring harness and a control unit. Was fine for 3 wks then happened again. SAME THING. They kept it 2 wks... Told me it was safe and fixed!!! I received the repair order w/ nothing done to the car on it. Now it has happened again. I will NEVER purchase a MB ever again. I dont feel safe in this vehicle. I paid a lot of $$$ for a STAR emblem... and nothing more.

I bought a used 2012 C300 MB from a dealer with 24,600 miles. The vehicle has 4 years 50000 miles warranty. The ac on the car stop working no cold air. I took the vehicle to MB South Orlando to repair the ac. The vehicle was involved in an accident on the left front fender and was repaired and they leave out some missing weather strip rubber when the repair was completed. The car had 29,300 miles and still under warranty when I took it to this money hungry dealer. The service technician said the warranty on the vehicle will not cover the repair due to missing parts under the hood that has nothing to do with the AC and I have to pay for 3 hours labor at $150/hr to diagnose what is the reason for no cool air.I took the vehicle to my local mechanic shop and in less than 5 minutes he found out the condenser was bad. I had him replaced it for a cost of $497.00, just a few more than the cost for a so called certified technician to find out what was wrong in the first place at the dealer. I contacted MBUSA and the fool I spoke to also resonating the same sentiments the service adviser at the dealer told me. So I said to him if I buy a car at the dealer upon driving it out to the road the car was hit that means the warranty is void? He said no, so I was very confused with this fool as well. I have 5 vehicles and all warranty job done on them I did not had to pay a penny to have the repairs done at the dealers. Both MB South Orlando and MS USA are all thieves. I told the person at MB USA the way warranty works is you take the vehicle in to a dealer, they find the problem, the warranty dept. is contacted and they pay the dealership for the repair cost. This ** about diagnostic cost is all a scam. All you MB lovers out there beware, do not buy cars from this dealership and do not buy Mercedes Benz vehicle. They are overpriced, the dealers and corporate office provides the WORST customer service ever and all you are left with is the bill to pay. In short they suck. If I had purchased a used vehicle from MBSO with warranty on it I assumed they would have fixed it. I guess they were not happy I bought the car from other dealer. This is the last MB I will ever own.

Many people seem to complain as just read on this site about MB. I currently own a 95 SL500, a 2004 S55, and a 2017 GLC300. If you search for an SUV of the small size like the GLC, you will see that there are many choices and the price seems to be all the same. We looked at GM as I also have a 20 year old Tahoe that I use to tow stuff. For the money the MB is comfortable and particularly nice looking for a car of the type (I will have to say kinda common) but it still has the status of driving a Mercedes. But in many cases we found it cheaper than other brands. As for my 21 year old SL it has 45k on the odometer and I have done all the maintenance like it was being driven every day and I havent thought twice to get in and take a long trip. It cost 102k 20 years ago and my house was a few bucks more, you have to treat it as a car built for speed and handling so expensive is the word to describe the car. Even though you can buy one for 4 thousand bucks, it is still a 100k car.The S55 is simply a great pleasure to drive with so much power and 3 feet between the front seats and the back seat. My only complaint is the model prior was in my opinion better looking but again you expect the car to perform as new and it will with proper fluid changes, brake, cooling etc. This car is as new and handles that way, if you wait for items to break then usually because of engineering many other parts will need repair. The best thing to say is taking care of these cars and learning how to do the maintenance will save money and also let you see problems that are required for a repair. Enough said.

I purchased a 2016 “Certified” Mercedes Benz GL550 with low mileage. Like maybe 22,000 miles? This is my 4th Mercedes I purchased and got serviced through MB dealerships. Two were new. Two were certified pre-owned. I did not even haggle with Silver Star Mercedes in New York on the price. I purchased a number of upgraded warranties, bringing the total up almost to $80,000. This vehicle was advertised as “certified.” That includes a 27 point checklist on the exterior of the vehicle. When the vehicle delivered to me, I sent pictures to the dealer within an hour of receiving it.There were a number of issues. I sent pics and contacted them, including the owner. The GM, Rob, got back to me and left a message. I tried contacting him back many times, left messages and never got hold of him. Finally, I left a message suggesting he text or email me a time he is available to speak. No response. So I contacted the owner again. No response. I live in Pittsburgh so I couldn’t just go there. Finally, I called a Mercedes Benz US customer service. They said I have to work through the dealership to resolve it. I told them I have tried and they won’t respond! So I tried to call Mercedes a Benz Customer Service another day, hoping another employee would be more helpful.Again, he told me I had to work through dealership for resolution. I said AGAIN that they won’t get back to me. They wouldn’t even call them for me and ask them to please respond. Like I said, this is my 4th Mercedes, with each getting more expensive! I was considering buying a G-Wagon, but forget it! I’m DONE with a Mercedes! I’m going back to BMW. I NEVER in a million years expected such a terrible experience from Mercedes! The damages were only about $1,500 to fix. My local dealer was appalled and got me an estimate. Never buy a Mercedes if you are buying a certified vehicle that you hope the company stands behind!

Ive just purchased a 2012 ML350. Though the ride and the overall quality of the vehicle is nice, the door lock on the passenger door came defective. Weve had to wait over a week to get the part to fix the problem, but the auto-lock function does not work. A company like MB cant even get a simple thing like the door lock. Its going to be serviced again, which my car will be in service more days then driven. This ruins the new car buying experience. I bought the car through Dez at Long Beach MB. I had the service done at House of Imports in Buena Park, CA. Not only I had to wait over ten days for the part to arrive, when it arrived some parts were missing, so I had to wait over the weekend and then some to get my car back. When everything is thought to be fixed, it wasnt. The consequence of this defective part and questionable workmanship is having the new car buying experience ruined and it ruined the image of MB. This is my third MB, and this is not something that happens to supposedly one of the most luxurious brands in the world. ML may not be their best car, but it may well be their most important vehicle this year. I cant understand how this could happen to a MB vehicle. Id understand if it was made in China like vehicles.

When we purchased this vehicle new and picked it up the problems started. The speaker fell out of the wall while I was driving home. I fixed it before my wife gets upset about quality. We took the van to Disney and water started pouring into the van from the roof. Took it in and they fixed it and left a dirty shop towel inside the AC unit, plus dirty finger prints on the panels. Door adjustment on sliding door was not correct. Door would rattle while driving. This was repaired at dealer when oxy sensor went bad. Then the egr valve went bad. Then the AC compress clutch failed and was replaced. They made us pay the labor. AC condenser cooler totally disintegrated and fail into the parking lot in a little pile of aluminum fins. The hide lines stayed intact. This was repaired as well.Paint on the vehicle at 8000. Miles started to chip off every time a bug hit it. Now it looks bad. I used touch up to hide it. They said they would fix it and repainted it, but they never did. Now the serpentine belt and pulley and tensioner are being replaced at my cost. This cost 800 dollars, but they were supposed have fixed this with the AC compressor repair. Anyway, there is more. My van only has 38,000 miles on it. Can you believe this. Mercedes has refused to assist and we have purchased 6 vehicles from them through the years. I guess the German quality is gone and they dont care either.

I recently (Nov 2014) traded in my C-300 (2012) for the new C-300 (2015) at the London dealership. After a few weeks my daughter complained that her door (left passenger door) would not close properly. We unfortunately ignored her and continued driving the vehicle. Later in January, whilst driving with my family the rear door alarm came on, in a panic I asked my daughter to hold the door while I parked in the emergency lane. On inspection I noticed the door handle awkwardly open, even with constant pushing the door would not close!I took the car into the London dealership where the car was inspected (I also pointed out other quality concerns which I still feel have not been addressed). Later in the evening I was told, We have checked the back door and oiled the mechanism/door lock and this should fix the problem. On my further instance I was told the whole door locking system would be replaced as a precaution until then I could drive my car as it was safe to do so. Happy that qualified Mercedes Benz technical staff had given me a green light to drive without fear of safety concerns I returned home. One week after, the same incident repeated itself with my family in the car! I called the team at service adviser and informed him of the incident. I expected to hear something reassuring but was told the parts were on backorder, I will get back to you tomorrow on how we can solve this for you. As Mercedes Benz, I would expect a much higher standard of product quality and customer care, both of which are absent. Does Mercedes Benz not care about serious safety concerns on their cars? I fear not only for my safety but the safety of other families that may experience this or worse. Please live up to the promise you make to your customers.

I never leased a car, I always bought it, but this time I have a lease and this car has given me problems from day one. I have complained to no avail; they try to tellme that it is normal for the car to drive the way it does. Well guess what if that is true then I will never drive another MB again. I would rather drive a Hyundai because this car gets me car sick to drive it and not only that I am afraid to drive because I might get into a car crash because of the way it drives. They say that the turbo is making it stop and go and shake. We have a brand new Porsche and it does not do what this car does. When I am at a red light and the light turns green the car stalls. I have taken it back several times. I am tired and I believe that I should just go through the Lemon Law because no one seems to want to help. My CLS550 only has 60k miles. The check engine light came on and the dealer has informed me that it is due to a faulty balance shaft. This is a known issue and a class action suit was filed. Mercedes settled out of court so they would not have to issue recall notices. I was never notified of the situation so I have been driving the car, not realizing that I was in danger. Now that I am aware of the issue, Mercedes is only willing to cover 37% of the $6,000 it is going to cost for the repair. How can any company think it is ok to use faulty parts, not inform the consumer and then not stand up to their responsibility? I drive a 2011 Mercedes Benz E350. The extended warranty is expired but it only has 89,000 kms on it. First issue, the air conditioning gives me heat instead of cold air. I had sensors to replace after checking warning light codes. The main issue Im having with Mercedes is there is a tear in the leatherette seats in the drivers side. The car has only 89,000 km. I can understand the other issues and how I would be out of pocket, but I would expect a much higher quality standard for an $80,000 dollar car. I had assumed the seats were made out of real leather and would be stitched properly. This issue I expected Mercedes to resolve. However, after many attempts the best they offered was to pay for half the material (about 25% of the total cost). Mercedes is not the quality of vehicle that their image portrays. I would not buy another one in the future, back to BMW for my next vehicle.

They wanted to charge for the tire replacement second time and charge for the wheel alignment - again the dealer maintains the car. My conclusion is that the tires are defective or not suited for driving in the city. This is the last time I will buy a Mercedes - poor quality, poor overpriced service...

I purchased a 2015 CLS 400 4MATIC with less than 7500 miles. After driving the vehicle for a week, I noticed a small grill for the dash temperature sensor missing. I took it to MB of Boston in Somerville, MA. I trusted that would be cover under factory warranty because I purchased this vehicle with an obvious factory defect, the dealership declined the warranty repair, instead quoted me $1200 to replaced the small vent on the dash without no explanation, the dealership make no effort to remedy the problem to ensure customer satisfaction. I was heartbroken to be told that it would not. I reached out to MBUSA customer relations, I was told a number of time theyre going to call the dealership to work it out with them and get back to me. Since then Ive been trying to reach MBUSA no one from the dealership or MBUSA has contacted me or made any attempt to remedy this situation.

Rotor/breaks were changed after the car failed to stop on the highway. The
Rotor/breaks were changed after the car failed to stop on the highway. The car (Mercedes 2015 C300 4matic) has 2k miles. The vehicle didnt display any warning messages or lights indicating something was wrong with the car. This is the second time car has been returned to dealer. How I got here? When car was returned the first time, February 2015, the car had about 700 miles. My complain: It doesnt feel right driving the car. The worse is when I drive down in the parking garage in a deep decline as I am turning right I hear the cracking/squeaking noise. Dealer repaired exhaust; it was not mounted correctly from the factory. Also, I was told the car is new and rotor needs to be used - give the car some time. After I picked up the car, by the end of February 2015, I called and informed the service department that exhaust was not the problem. Car has the same issues. I called and followed up with the service department in several occasions, texted and even e-mailed a video of the problem to show in real time that the cracking squeaking noise has not been fixed and I as explained back then, it is getting worse. It felt driving in the wrong shift. Dealer said they will get back to me, but never did despite the fact I called several time. Car was not used March-April 2015 due to personal reasons. Early June 2015, brakes failed as I am driving on the highway @50 miles/hour. I live and drive in the city, usually about 10-30 miles/hour (rush hours). After the rotor/brake repair, I asked if this issue had to do with my prior complaints. I was told that there is nothing in the file to suggest that the cracking/squeaking noise was not fixed the first time car was returned, nor shows any calls or correspondence with the service department. I was told that I didnt complain about the brakes. I am not a mechanic, nor I pretend to be, I said to dealer. When I complained about the car, I expected the dealer to identify the problem. I even took a video as I was driving so they can see and listen to cracking squeaking sound of the car.Although dealer has replaced brake and rotor, I have not heard a word about the cracking squeaking sound. Also sometimes when I reverse the car it dials somehow SOS call center. Yes, a new 2015 C300, 2k miles, several issues including major safety concerns ones. Anyone is experiencing this issues? I am a woman, and the reason I have only purchased new cars is so I dont have to worry about things I dont understand. Instead, I feel trapped and scared. I have contacted MB-USA. Looking forward to hearing from them.
