Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of the Japanese automaker Toyota. The Lexus brand is marketed in more than 90 countries and territories worldwide and is Japan's largest selling make of premium cars. It has ranked among the 10 largest Japanese global brands in market value. Lexus is headquartered in Nagoya, Japan.

Even though the 2021 Lexus ES is a sedate offering in a segment dominated by legitimate sports sedans, it delivers what a certain group of luxury car buyers are looking for in terms of comfort, ride quality, and effortless cruising capability. Three powertrains are offered: A V-6 engine with 302-hp, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with all-wheel drive, or a hybrid setup that delivers fantastic fuel economy. As for luxury, the ES's cabin is a lovely space that's lined with fine materials, supportive seats, and plenty of technology features and connectivity options. What's the downside? The Lexus doesn't deliver the same level of driving satisfaction as the sportier luxury cars it competes against. But, for the price of an entry-level Audi A6 or Mercedes-Benz E-class you can have a well-loaded ES—which makes it an unbeatable value in this highly competitive segment.

I have a 2008 Lexus is250, I'm original owner - 36,000 miles on car & Navigation System stopped working? I have not been to the dealership yet because I wanted to do my research before talking with them. This has been talked about & an issue since 2010! Why has there been no recall? I found out that all dealerships can do a certain amount of free repairs at their discretion! With the low miles, the fact that it's a known problem & I can't control my heater or air conditioner without it, making it hazardous if I need immediate window defrosting & that I will take all my info in front of a judge, hopefully they do us both a favor & just fix it for free! Has anyone else taken Lexus to small claims court? I guess I may be the first??? I can print out at least 500 complaints about issues with the Navigation System failing!!! Why hasn't Lexus done anything about this??? There's a FB page dedicated to "Why hasn't Lexus recalled their Nav System yet"!!! I'll update as I move along in this process.

Lexus has very wide range of multi purpose vehicles, there is a lot of different everyday car models as well. They also have several supercar models. They are very sleek and stylish, very high quality looks and designs. You definitely can tell what the quality is like by looking at it. I just have the base model and it's very well equipped with CD, air conditioning and great sound quality from the speakers. You can also very easily fit 4 passengers in it, one in the front and three in the back, it's surprisingly roomy in the back. The passengers can be seated comfortably.

I bought a car from someone which still has extended warranty until 180,000 km. I brought my car to Lexus Dealership to fix the noise. They asked me to call Lexus Canada to transfer the ownership & warranty and I did that on the phone. They told me all's done. Afterward I was been able to fix my car at Lexus Dealership with no charge. And today I am going back to fix the VSC light engine turn ON. They told me that my extended warranty is expired. I called Lexus Canada and they told me that I did not transfer the ECP warranty when transferring the ownership and my extended warranty is no longer valid. The person that I talked on the phone said that he could not let me talk to his supervisor, and he could not give me his last name. His first name is Christ and his Employee No is ** or **. He talked to me very rude and impolite. I just came back from the States. I have been driving Lexus for the last 12 yrs (2002 LS430, 2005 SC430 and 2009 ES350). My family & I are very pleased when we have to go to a Lexus Dealer fixing our car, because they treat us so nice and with respect. I am very disappointed with Lexus Dealer in Montreal.

No customer service at all. I would like to express my disappointment about the recent experience I had at Lexus of Rockville on December 21, 2016. Initially, the Service Manager, Andy and Supervisor, Jose were courteous & respectful. They provided me with a loaner vehicle while waiting for my insurance rep to come and look at my car. This took about five days. The dealership completed a diagnostic on my car as well. After approximately a week and half I received a call from the service Supervisor (Jose) and he instructed me to return the loaner back, which I did, that same day. Upon returning the loaner, I was notified by the Service Manager (Andy) that he and his staff were instructed by Peter ** (GM) not to service my car. When I asked why, they could not provide me a reason, refused to provide service to my car, treated me with extreme disrespect and escorted me off the property like a criminal. I did nothing to merit this type of treatment.Throughout the incident I remained calm and courteous despite their mistreatment I received. My vehicle has been serviced at this location many times in the past without any issues. As an ** man, the interaction was humiliating beyond words and not worthy of the Lexus (YES WE CAN) brand. In this day and age where respect for individuals and cultures has become lost, I expected more from Lexus. This unsatisfactory Customer Service experience was further exacerbated by the lack of service I received after reporting the incident. When reaching out to your corporate office, I was assured by the front desk person at that time someone would get back to me on this matter and discuss the issue, I have yet to receive the simple courtesy of a call or email from Sonic Automotive. I hoped to hear from Sonic Automotive or Lexus Corporation soon to bring a resolution to this extremely disheartening situation.

I recently made a purchase of a 2008 RX350, from Meade Lexus of Lakeside. I decided to go with the Lexus, with the hopes of landing a depending vehicle from a company that cared about their customers well being and to make future purchases. Received the vehicle in Aug. and within 30 days needed a new battery, which is not the end of the world, although unexpected. This weekend however, I took my 11 year old son to Chicago for his birthday and the vehicle started smoking and stalled on me on the 94 E expressway. I had the vehicle towed to a repair shop only to be told that the vehicle that I purchased 7 months prior, needs a new engine!! I tried to contact the dealership as well as had the vehicle taken to another repair shop for a second opinion, after the second shop, gave me the same results. I can not believe that this dealership is selling unsafe vehicles to the public. I did all of my research prior to this purchase for this to happen to me. I too, cannot believe that I am making a complaint about a brand that I put so much trust into. My next step is to contact the attorney general office about this situation.

Getting close to 50 years old, I decided to purchase a "reliable, safe, easy to service car that will last until I can no longer drive." Bought a 2004 Lexus ES 330 with only 18K miles, certified pre-owned. Online reviews were glowing, mechanics said, "You'll be bored, but just have oil changes up to 100K miles." Hah! At 20K miles, the dealer insisted that I needed new brakes ($1500?) ''before they score the rotors." Having owned MBZ, Jaguars, Alfa Romeos, and other temperamental exotics over the years, I am familiar with cars and when things should fail. I took the Lexus to an independent mechanic, and found the brakes were almost new, good for another 20K miles, at least (did brakes at 50K for a reasonable price). Scratch dealer servicing forever. The Lexus was always a compromise... noisy, rough ride compared to the Jags and MBZ, but I figured reliability and no drama was worth it. At 65K miles, struts started leaking... $1,000 ($3000 at dealer). I let them leak. Now, 70K miles, right after an oil change using synth-blend, not full synthetic oil, the valve cover gasket started leaking. Repair is $1,300, which includes timing belt, water pump, pulleys, etc... Cheap, compared to dealer, but still 25K miles too soon. Minor problems, but it seems that prices for simple maintenance on these Toyota/Lexus cars has grown to be as expensive and frequent as the exotics used to be. Might as well lease a BMW or Alfa with full service plan included, and flip it every 3 years. That, or an old classic that increases in value as it gobbles up your wallet in repairs. Like they used to advertise, "You asked for it, you got it, Toyota." I sure as ** did! Nothing special about Lexus. Anyone want to buy a well maintained 70K mile ES330 needing 90K mile service and struts?

My car was dead in the driveway. I called Lexus Roadside 800 448-1505 and asked them to send a repair truck WITH a new battery. A AAA tow truck arrived. He said he could not sell me a battery; he can only tow or jump the old battery. I want to make this very clear, I was very willing to pay for the new battery. And although he had a battery on the truck he could not sell it to me. After speaking with 'corporate', Lexus admits that the contract specifically states that service is tow or jump only.

On December 2011 I took all my savings to buy the best luxury car to drive and enjoy my Golden years. After receiving various recommendations and reading the reviews I decided to buy a Lexus RX 350. I went to Lexus of Wilmington and purchased Lexus RX 350. The dealership assured me this car would easily last for more than two to three hundred thousand miles if I changed the oil in a timely fashion. On September 21, 2019 the temperature gauge showed my car was overheating, I immediately took it to Newark ToyotaWorld. They found no leaks and there was no warning code or indication on the display panel of any malfunction. I have religiously done maintenance as recommended based on the professional advisement of Lexus from the date of purchase. All maintenance records can be obtained through Newark ToyotaWorld. After taking the RX350 to Toyota on September 21st, I was told by the Newark Toyota dealer that my car needs a new water pump and engine replacement. The cost to replace it with a used engine and no warranty is $8,049.49 and the cost to replace for a new engine is $14,985. I was told to remove my car from their parking lot within a few days. I talked to Lexus customer rep Cindy and Lis ** complaint #**, she told me to get my car towed or transported to Lexus of Wilmington to further analyze the engine malfunctions (I have already spent $120 diagnosis fee, and $100 in towing charges). Why I need to further waste more money for towing to Lexus of Wilmington, plus their diagnosis fee, when it has already been determined by a professional Engineer that there is no compression in the engine, Radiator is leaking, water pump and battery is discharged.Since I no longer have any reliable transportation, I have turned to public transport to go to doctor's appointments, and receiving rides from my neighbors to run daily errands like food. I have depleted my savings funneling money into this so-called world class Lexus, now I have no money left to buy any new vehicles. My dream of enjoying my golden years driving a dependable luxury car has become a nightmare. I wish I had gone with a competitor’s product in hindsight. I feel I was cheated out of my money, knowingly I was sold a Lemon by Lexus of Wilmington. Company/dealership has defrauded and I can do nothing.Zubair
