Our 2019 Chevy Trax LT is so much fun to drive. It sits high up like a typical SUV but small like a car. It has lots of features in it like electric start, an app that can find you car and lock it remotely. It’s great on gas mileage and can really pack a lot in it because the seats lay down flat. I like there is an actual spare tire and so many air bags. The seats are very comfortable even for long drives. Also there are plenty of cup holders for all the drinks you just have to have to go on a drive. I think the Trax would be a bit small for a family with teenagers. Our kids are grown so it’s not an issue for us.

Its the best car I ever owned. The longest car I ever owned, hardly no major problems and good gas mileage. I wish they still made this one but the fact is they dont. Its been a god-send. I need a new one but that isnt going to happen. I love this car.

I always loved pickup trucks and it features four-wheel drive and weather resistant tires as well and state of the art heating and air conditioning. Also the tires are great. It has been reliable and fuel efficient too. The total price has been reasonable as well as the payments. And the color is simple and exciting. When buying the vehicle the staff was extremely helpful. But I dont like the eroding the paint gets from the salt on the road during weather. I also dislike the radio which is oversimplified and doesnt get a good signal.

My Chevrolet is one of the worst vehicles ever built. It has inherent manufacturing issues that were ignored and the cars were sold anyway without any regard for the failures that were known by the manufacturer to occur. I hate everything about it. There isnt one thing that was built to last. The production should have been stopped immediately... no that didnt happen. GM just sent all the cars to be sold to consumers with the built in defects.

We have always chosen Chevrolet. We traded our 18 year old Trailblazer last April. It was hard as we never had to worry about buying big items. Our children have moved on to their adult lives and its just the two of us. We purchased a Trax and are very pleased with the size and comfort.

Like most auto manufacturers Chevy has lowered the quality of their engineering and increased the cost of their automobiles. Chevrolet is my favorite American brand automobile, but because they have outsourced so much of the parts that go into their vehicles, I think it gives way to a conflict of interest for the competition.

I have always said Chevrolet was the best vehicles; but I was wrong. My next car will NOT be a Chevrolet. I bought a 2019 Chevrolet Malibu in 2020 with approximately 40,000 miles. In November of 2021 the car just died as I was driving. My mechanic finally discovered the issue. An electric modulator went out. Since I bought the car used, Chevrolet refused to cover the cost. Thanks Chevrolet for nothing. Won’t waste my money again.

Fraudulent sales. In late October I purchased a vehicle from Herb Easley Chevrolet in Wichita Falls. I found the car online. I talked to a salesman and we reached a deal. The deal was 3%+ interest, 300+ per month for 60 months. I was out of town. The salesman mailed me the papers to my job site. When I received them, the note was for 72 months. My wife texted the salesman and said that was not what we agreed on. We wasn’t buying the car for 72 months. The salesman stated it was a financial department mistake. When we come to get the car, the papers will be for the 60 months. We show up to sign the papers and get the car. The financial guy had the papers printed out. I looked at them and they were correct and then I signed. They were as stated above for the 60 months. He went to put the papers in a folder and said he was out of folders, for us to go with the salesman and have him show us about the car while he found one. After the salesman showed us the car, another salesman brought us the paperwork in the folder. I never looked at it again. I went to pay it off and the bank said the note was for 72 months. This is what I claim the dealership did. They had the 72 months paperwork, then, they printed another paper with the 60 months as well. They showed me the 60 month one. I did not calculate the 60 month and the payment to see what it totals. The totals were the same on both contracts. Like everyone else, I just paid attention to the monthly payment and amount of payments. Once signed, they shredded the 60 month one and put the 72 month in my folder they had to go look for. This is all possible because they don’t have financial contracts that are put together. They use single page typing paper. I told the dealership I could show her exactly how they did it. She claimed their dealership would not do that. Strange that both employees somehow don’t work their anymore and they are under new management since I was in there. It’s not rare salesman come and go, but the financial guys usually stay a long while. I strongly recommend you not shopping at this dealership and I hope General Motors will investigate as well when I notify them.- [ ]

I have had several sub-compact SUVs and the Trax is one of the better ones. It has a good ride, handles well, and has enough of power. Good full mileage for an AWD vehicle. Price is in the ballpark with the competition. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone in the market for a sub-compact AWD.

This is my very first car purchase. A car that I fell in love with and built myself down to the features in this car. Car purchased 8/16/17 drove off the lot with 30mi on it. About a week after having the car it shut off on me and has been happening since. For a brand new car why is it shutting off intermittently? This car has been in and out of the shop since I got it. The dealership Carl Black of Kennesaw finally witnessed it after having my car for about a month in January and replaced the fuse block which they thought was the issue. 2 week after getting my car back it shut off on me again! Brought them the car back the following day for them to keep it for two weeks and put over 1000mi on it. This is beyond ridiculous. Chevy is telling me they cant buy my car back because its under warranty. But dont safety issues qualify my car as a lemon?! If this car dies on me on I-75 and I get into a car accident will GM/Chevrolet really want to deal with this type of lawsuit?

Im really pleased with my Equinox. Drives GREAT. Good gas mileage. Zero things to dislike about the car. Buying it, and dealing with Chevrolet has not been satisfactory. Problem 1: Chevrolet wants to sell On-Star. Fine. I dont want it. Eventually, On-Star called me one day when I started the car. I couldt shut it off. Chevy was broadcasting an add into my car, without my consent. I was so mad. They got me to press the button. I tried to be nice to the operator. But, told them no, and dont do that again. And, yes, someone can contact me about this. No one every has done so. Bottom line: Chevy could not PAY ME to own On-Star. (Ive designed electronics for 40 years. I bet I can disconnect the antenna).Problem 2: I love the multi-media center. But occasionally, they lock it up with a text message. It is a warning that I should not look at the screen while driving. And, I must acknowledge by pressing OK to release the screen. How hypocritical that I should read, and acknowledge a long text before the screen functions. I would like to punch the attorney whose idea this is in the nose, and then in the groin (hypothetically, of course). That is a piece of software that is broken!

It was a very dissatisfying experience at Kingdom Chevrolet in Chicago, IL. A 2018 Chevy Camaro 1LT was advertised as $17,695 on their website and seeing that I called Kingdom Chevy and confirmed the car availability and price. They were affirmative for both. I traveled all the way to their place for 2 hours and met the representative and he said there wont be any changes in the price and $17,695 is the final price plus TTL. We did the test drive and because the price was confirmed, I accepted for their credit run to know the APR that I will receive though I have an offer from bank. I gave all the confidential information and they ran my credit check. Now the manager comes and say, the price on the website was including some rebates and he can offer the car for $25500. Manager started asking me if I am in military or a student or a teacher, etc. How could a customer browsing through the internet know if rebates are applied or not. I was thinking $17,695 is a right price as 2019 models are already on the roads and they are trying to get rid of 2018 models and hence the price. I do not have concern on Chevrolet brand but the dealership is fooling the customers with false prices on their website.

Being a Chevy family for years I am very disappointed to find out that they hide problems with their vehicles from their customers. They can send out flyers to purchase new car mats or upgrades for cars, yet when a part is bad on their vehicles are bad. On our Trax our pvc valve cover went bad and Chevy had known that on the 2013-2017 Trax, Sonic and Cruise this part had been malfunctioning. It would have been under warranty from my dealership had I know when I was home to take it in.My warranty is not valid anywhere but there. Of course they never told me that either. My family decided to see our son who is in the Army 3.5 hours from our home. Car was not covered. We were stranded for 3 days because the strike caused a lack of parts throughout the country. Dealerships were closed because it was a weekend so we went to a Pep Boys. Chevy acknowledges this is an issue but refuse to reimburse me because I didnt go to a dealership in the town we were stranded in. Which by the way couldnt find the part we needed a Kia dealer had to find it! We will be trading in our Chevys by the end of the year and getting a different brand who believes in customer service not just making a buck!

So far so good, except when we had to replace the tires because they were dry rotting and a sensor needed to be replaced. Other than that the car is comfortable to drive and has good pickup speed for a four-cylinder. Also, seats are comfortable, mom was the one that chose it. She had seen and advertisement in the paper and wanted to go look at it. After test driving it, she asked me how I liked it, then she bought it. However, I dont like the fact that it is made in Canada, should have been made here in the USA. I also dont like having to reset the clock when daylight savings time goes into effect. Also would like a full-size spare tire instead of the donut.

It has been so far a very comfortable and easy riding easy driving vehicle. The color, the style, more room inside. Keyless ignition and doors. Power seats. Power windows and doors I love. The all wheel drive was main feature but the overall appearance helped. But it is a little high up off the ground. A little hard for me to get up into. It could be a little easier on gas compared to what I am used to. But it is getting better as it gets broke in.

Items replaced or repaired so far: radio, door release cable, engine belt tensioner, passenger seat handle, visor with built-in garage door opener, safety recall to reprogram something, engine makes rattling sounds at low speed. Now GM dealer Best Chevrolet says they need to go inside the engine and replace cams and lifters. The car only got around 10,000 miles. Otherwise that would have been really bad. I wish the gas was a little better and that it didnt sound like a go cart. I also wish my windows worked better and had the GPS in it. I am writing to complain about my Chevy Cruze 2016 Limited Lt. I have nothing but problems with this turbo. The fan sounds like the car is going to take off. This happens when you run the air conditioner. The car surges and the car goes through a stage where it takes a minute to reset. The turbo has acceleration issues where it will be running OK then slow down to barely doing the speed limit. I have had it in the dealership 3 times. They always tell me everything is OK to have it back and it is doing the same thing all over again. I dont want a car with a turbo anymore. Too many problems. I feel that I cant get the answers Im looking for. If I contact the dealership they will just tell me how everything is OK. I pay good money for my vehicle and if it is going to continue to be a problem maybe they should let me trade it for another vehicle. I need to know who to talk to so I can get this problem fixed.

The build quality seems to be good but not perfect. The same with performance. I love the Chevy Volt. The battery gives us enough range on a full charge to get almost anywhere during the average day. Its quiet and runs smoothly with lots of power. There have been problems, of course. While the software is generally great, the entertainment center software had big problems. 2018 TRAVERSE VIN # ** Mileage: less than 10000 (ten thousand). Export version only. Country: COLOMBIA. Many small issues and no fix yet.1. Shift to park. When you park the vehicle ask you to put it in PARK and it is already. Dealer is working on that as I write this thread. Tech found a recall or bulletin from manufacturer to repair or possible replacement of some parts.2. SERVICE STABILITRACK. In many and random occasions this service light comes on and 20 seconds later goes off. When stopping at a light. Dealer unable to duplicate and no fix yet.3. Fuel economy system, it does not work right now, and it happened twice before. Does not turn off when you stop at a traffic light. Dealer has updated software in order to remedy this issue.4. Locking audio confirmation. When you manually lock the doors it gives you an audio or lights confirmation. It does not work anymore. Dealer looking into this issue.5. Electric parking brake. The electric parking brake activated itself while driving in traffic. Heavy traffic situation 5 mph and the E. brake came on and stayed on. The vehicle did not move forward or backwards. Turn the engine off several times, put in parking, neutral etc etc. After 5 minutes of blocking traffic had to force the vehicle to the shoulder. Almost did not make it. Turn vehicle off and called the flat bed. While waiting 15-20 minutes later turn vehicle on and SURPRISE!!! It was fixed. MAGIC. The E brake was off and the vehicle was free. While this was going on the E Brake light (red) was on, and Service Parking Brake light (amber) was flashing all the time. Dealer did an update to the system and not sure if it will happened again. But this is the THIRD time this happened. Once at my house about six months ago but it took about 1 minute and it fix itself so I did not pay attention to it. The second time it happened to my wife at a shopping center but she left it in the lot and went back shopping and when it came out it was fixed. The dealer down here works hand to hand to a place in Mexico (Chevrolet help center for dealers). Mexico looks at the issue and tells the tech in Colombia what to do. He does and reports to Mexico. Anyone knows anything about this? Thanks for your help....

I bought a 2018 Colorado ZR2 in April. Last night the oil cooler line failed. I called Roadside and they towed my truck to the dealer for repair. This is a common issue from what I see on many forums. I called the dealer and they told me they don’t have the part and wouldn’t be able to get one from Denver until Tuesday. I then called GM customer service to find out what they can be done. My situation, I’m from Las Vegas and I had to drive to Lander Wy to help out my mother and father. My father has to have surgery Monday. Earlier this week my mother was hospitalized and needed help to take care of my father and get him to his appointment on Monday. I drove up to help out and on Friday the oil line failed. I have to get him to his appointment and return to my family and job. I asked GM what could be done and they told me I could get a rental but I couldn’t leave the state. Expressed the gravity of the situation and they said they would have to get with the senior supervisor but he won’t be available until Monday. Unacceptable. He then told me he would patch me through to his supervisor and put me on hold. I have been on hold for an hour and a half so far. I have only owned GM products, this will be my last.

I come from a family that prided itself on owning Chevrolet trucks – trucks that ran for 200K+ miles. That came to an end for me today. I own a 2016 Suburban LT thats used as our primary family vehicle. At just over 64K miles, the car started to show signs of a delayed shifting between P, R, and D. It would hesitate and then jump into gear. The vehicle would also shake when on the highway and shifting between gears. The dealer first suggested re-programming the transmission and a fluid flush at a cost of $700, but the symptoms persisted. Upon further investigation by the transmission technician, I was presented with a price of $7,000 to replace the transmission with a remanufactured one.Visibly frustrated, the dealer suggested that I could approach GM about cost sharing of the repair, but only after performing a tear down of the transmission which was another $1,500. The dealer suggested that they needed to tear down the transmission so that they could identify precisely what went wrong and then report back to GM via a software application (not person to person interaction). Also, how convenient for GM and the dealer to have my vehicle taken apart before presenting me with a cost sharing proposal. GM already knows that the transmission needs to be replaced - and after its replaced, the broken transmission is sent back to GM to be remanufactured and sold to another dissatisfied customer whose transmission has failed because of poor mechanical craftsmanship. After several conversations with GMs Sr. Advisor and a Supervisor, which knew very little about transmissions or repairs in general, I was told that they would not consider any cost sharing until the tear down was performed - and it was my full responsibility to pay the $1,500 for tear down. So, before even knowing the full cost of repairing the vehicle, I need to pay $2,200? GM doesnt need the transmission torn down to address my issue. The Sr. Advisor and Supervisor should have had autonomy to escalate and do what’s right – which is be highly empathetic; own the mechanical flaw in craftsmanship; problem solve with me; and tell me that they’ll pay a certain percentage of the total repair cost to replace the transmission with one that’s been remanufactured. But, they didn’t do that; they didn’t stand by their product or their customer commitment. To me, it’s disgusting to see on GM’s website that they pride themselves on ensuring an exceptional ownership experience”. It’s a poor product and terrible company – that’s why they reduced the power train warranty from 100K in 2015 to 60K in 2016 – and have a class action lawsuit against them on the Yukon XL (not sure why Suburban is not on here, but will investigate). Ford may not be any better, but that’s where I’m headed – and that never would have happened had GM stood by their craftsmanship issue and done everything that they could have to satisfy me as a customer.

I love my Malibu. It has served me well. I am 80 yrs old and it is perfect for me. The ride is smooth and it handles easily. The display panel is convenient for me, and I enjoy all the options. The seat adjustment has come in very handy on those occasions when I have had knee issues and needed room to get a straightened leg in the drivers side. I liked my Malibu so much, I converted the lease to a purchase!

It is a hatchback. Easy access to loading things. Popular model, silver color. Comfortable to sit in. Space for 4 adults. Back seat lets down for more cargo space. I have greatly enjoyed owning and driving this car. But it has too much technology stuff in it that I do not use.

I would give them 0 stars but they do call you and check on the issue, but they dont fix the issue. I have a 2017 Chevy Cruze LT and the check engine light recently came on so I took it to autozone and had the codes read. The code came back for a knock sensor and since I have a warranty on my car I called to check to see if it was a covered part with them and confirmed that I have 1 hour free diagnostic and the part was covered but the check engine light went off and stayed off for a few weeks. It came back on not too long ago and this time the codes reads intake airflow system performance so I just take to Chevy because at this point I am just done with the car and dont want to cause any damage driving it. The problem Is that I have been in contact with Chevy corporate for 2 months on this issue asking for assistance because if the part is something that was not covered under my warranty I didnt think I should be responsible for it. They have done nothing to help out with trying to solve the issue.

The acceleration is great, the ride is comfortable even at 6 and 250 pounds and the controls and features are those youd normally find in more expensive vehicles. I was rear-ended in my 2014 Volt by a Dodge Challenger and, although my Volt needed $6,500 in repairs, it was obvious that the Challenger was heading to the crusher in a boneyard.

Chevy would only tow 25 miles for roadside assistance tow, I find this very unpleasant. Many other brands offer roadside towing and as long as it goes to a branded dealership for service, they dont care if its more than 25 miles, of course I dont expect them to tow it 500 miles but when the dealership within 25 miles says that they cannot take the vehicle for service before a week, I think its a valid reason to use a dealership which is 13 miles more than 25, and roadside should cover, its one of the reasons ill never buy chevy again, on top of the reason that the water pump blew after 16 months and less than 20k miles.

This is what could happen to your new Chevrolet Suburban Premier. I’ve owned a 2011 and 2016 Suburban LTZ. I’ve also owned two 2018 Suburbans but I was never prepared for what happened to my 2018 Chevrolet Suburban Premier. I purchased a used 2018 Chevrolet Suburban Premier and the engine went out after a little over 100K miles. I understand that it is out of warranty based on miles, but since it’s a one-year-old car I reach out to GM leadership for some assistance.I sent an email to Mary Barra and all the VP listed on their website to get some form of assistance but GM flatly refused. It’s very disappointing that a $65K car, which I always service at a GM dealership monthly, needs an engine after 100K miles. I told them I would never buy another GM vehicle. If it were a company that purchases large quantities of their vehicles they probably would do something. Big companies don’t need assistance; a small guy like me is more in need of their assistance. It’s costing me well over $7000.00 to replace the engine at a Chevrolet dealership.

Of course I keep the oil change and do regular maintenance on the car. My husband bought this truck new because he wanted something that a female could drive due to its midsize. The biggest issue with this service department was the time it took for an oil change and tire rotation, 5 HOURS, but I have listed all the details below. Pros: - Service was completed- Service consultant was pleasant Cons:- Timing. It took this service department from 10:15 am to 3:15 pm, 5 HOURS, to complete an oil change and tire rotation. I scheduled my appointment online and was told when I arrived that it might take up to 3.5 hours. I was not happy but needed the oil change today and assumed it might include something like a basic exterior wash for the time. At the 4-hour mark, I called the service department to get an update. After a few moments of not being able to find my car, I was told to give them another 1.5 hours to complete the service. - Price. When scheduling my appointment online, the dealership was offering a coupon for $29.95 + tax. The only fine print, directly from the coupon, was, “Tire balancing, tax, and more than 6 quarts of oil extra.”. Since I did not see a line item for tire balancing or more than 6 quarts of oil, I asked why I was being charged $12.89 more than the coupon, before tax. I was told that prices have gone up and they could not honor the coupon price. If that is the case, the coupon needs to be removed from the website. - “Shuttle”. I advised the service department I would be waiting there for my car. It was at that point they offered a shuttle, via Lyft, within 10 miles of the dealership. I opted to take them up on the offer, but just across the highway to the mall. At 4.5 hours, I ended up walking back to the dealership since my phone was about to die so there was no way I would be able to coordinate the shuttle back between the dealership and Lyft. At the time of payment, I see a charge for, “Incidental Reimbursement” in the amount of $5.67. I can only assume this was for the “shuttle service” they would take care of within 10 miles. - Lack of attention to detail. When I received the bill, I noticed a charge of just over $22 for 2 bolts. I knew I would have to pay for the bolts but remembered the conversation advising it would be around $4 and change, per bolt. I had to ask why the charge was so high before they even noticed it. Lastly, upon getting in my car, I noticed in the 5 hours they had the vehicle, no one could be bothered to reset the oil life indicator.

The purchase of this SUV was record-breaking in that it was my first SUV and the newest vehicle I had ever owned. Within a year and a half I learned that GM believes that the engines in their vehicles can only be expected to last 5 years and that it is too bad, so sad that the engine in my vehicle stopped working. Anyone I spoke to found it inconceivable that a properly serviced vehicle would need to have the engine replaced at less than 100K miles.GM believes that since I did not have one of their dealers handle the repairs for my vehicles, there is nothing they can do as only their dealership can accurately diagnosis the cause of the engine failure and due to the age of the vehicle (barely 6 years old) it is solely my responsibility. The non-GM explanation as to the cause of the engine needing to be replaced was that the number one cylinder had grenaded damaging the electrode on spark plug.

Reported problem: Full Charge mileage range reduction from 238 plus miles t
Reported problem: Full Charge mileage range reduction from 238 plus miles to ~156 miles. Courtesy Recall ** Loss of propulsion High Voltage Battery Without Notification. Complaint: The normal vehicle range of 238 miles is reduced 35% to 156 miles. After the courtesy recall the range was further reduced another 27% to 115 miles. GM acknowledges this reduction in range but is calling it normal. When the vehicle was delivered to Jack Evans for service, I reported the issue with decreased range. I noted that I drive ~150 miles round trip for work daily, with the decreased range I was unable to use the vehicle for the intended purpose as there was insufficient margin. I feared not being able to get home. The dealer agreed that the vehicle was reporting range of 157 miles with full charge but were unable to find any issue with the battery. They contacted GM Technical support for advice and were provided no additional information on the problem. Sarah the Service Manager at Jack Evans told me that GM tech support advised her to report the issue on the invoice as “Customer Concern Not Reproducible” and the decreased range is due to customer driving conditions and connecting my Cellphone to the infotainment system, what I am seeing is normal. After completion of the courtesy recall the vehicle was connected to a charging station, with zero miles driven. On 50-degree day the full charge range decreased from 157 to 115 miles. The Service Manager again told me this is caused by my driving style and environmental settings. The reduction in range after the service recall happened with no changes to driving or environmental settings. I was again advised to unplug my phone from the infotainment system as this could reduce range expectations. If I did not agree with the information presented, I should contact GM Customer Care. The dealer did not report the additional service recall related range reduction to GM Tech Support. GM Customer Care Case ** called in on 2/13/2019 was escalated to a Customer Care Manager. After receiving no further contact or status I contacted GM Customer Care on 2/21/2019. I was promised a status by end of the day. With nothing heard I again contacted GM Customer Care on 2/22/2019 only to be told I would be contacted in 2 or 3 business days. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that would also take 2 or 3 business days. I contacted GM Priority Care where I was forwarded to a Customer Care Manager. I was again told there is no problem with the vehicle. After some time reviewing the record, we determined the information I had been providing was not being documented, such as the reduction in range after the service recall. I was also told that Jack Evans service department reported no problems with the vehicle. As noted above, Jack Evans service department told me that service code was at the direction of GM technical support. My dispute with GM Customer Care is based on GM advising Jack Evans on how to report an issue then telling me there is no problem based on what was reported by Jack Evans. Further background: I drive the vehicle ~150 miles daily, charging the vehicle every night for the next day. I drive the same path every day, my environmental settings are set for 70 degrees, heated seats and steering wheel heater set to off. From April to November my typical range exceeded the estimated range of 238 miles, more likely around 300 miles. On the coldest day (5 degrees) with headlights on the reported range was ~185 miles, after 150 miles the system reported ~50 miles to go. The decreased range of 156 miles no longer allows me to use the vehicle for my daily work commute as intended. The further range reduction to 115 miles will not allow commuter use at all. General Motors Customer telling me the range reduction is normal when I know from experience this is a significant change from routine use is not acceptable. Usage and environmental settings are no longer an issue as I can no longer using the vehicle other than for errands. When I purchased this Chevy Bolt EV there were only two vehicle manufactures making an electric vehicle with a range above 200 miles between charges, one being Tesla, the other GM. With issues being reported and ignored by GM, there is only one remaining.

The Chevy Sonic LTZ Turbo 2015 gets great gas mileage. Its reliable, its small and in the backseat area it has a video player in radio. It also has bluetooth radio connections. I own a used 2004 Chevy Tracker. Up to now it’s been reliable. The body doesn’t have a spec of rust and the engine and transmission are still running strong. The issue I have is with the integrity of Chevrolet Motors. Recently while driving on the highway my left front wheel became unresponsive and the front end vibrated violently. My mechanic informed me that the front cross member/subframe had rotted out. After doing some research on the internet I discovered this is a known problem and the warranty was extended to 10 years or 150k mile. When I contacted Chevrolet Customer Service to see if they would still honor the recall they refused because it was past the 10 year warranty. This is disturbing because it is a known and documented SAFETY defect. My realization is that Chevrolet still puts economics ahead of the safety of its drivers & passengers. So if you’re an advocate of Chevrolet please check the internet for any recalls or complaints for your vehicle model on a yearly basis because our safety appears not to be Chevrolet Motor’s priority.

I bought a brand new 2016 Silverado in 2016 and have put 72000 (highway) miles on it. Took it into my local Chevy dealership because of a transmission shudder and whine right before shifting to the next gear. Torque converter is failing sending metal shavings through my transmission and destroying it. A bill of greater than 5500 for this transmission is absurd but not as crazy as a 3 year old transmission failing. Must be why they lowered the drivetrain warranty from 100k to only 60k. Have been a Chevy guy all my life, now looking into other brands due to their lack of standing behind a crap product.

Chevy silverado 2009 - $800 mirror replacement for a right front turn signal bulb out. A poor assembly in the right side mirror needed to be replaced to make a right turn signal, in the front only, work. Its GMs issue, no fault of mine. GMs consumer affairs is less than accountable. Out of warranty, yet no damage other than the wiring, and 60,021 miles. Proof in the mirror I have. They caused the issue, but its mine. Caveat Emptor.

I love the Chevy truck me and my boyfriend have. Its safe overall and hasnt really had any major problems. The truck is easy to keep clean and havent really had problems with it. We like the heated seats, how it looked. How it drove and Ive always loved Chevys and will probably always buy them. The fact how safe it is and that it will be a great family truck and we will be able to give it to our daughter one day. However, I dont like how much parts cost to fix it but other than that my whole family loves it. We bought the truck lifted, so the tires and most everything else cost a lot to fix or replace but it still doesnt ruin the truck for me. I would totally recommend this truck to anyone or my family. Its going to be a great family truck when our little one comes in June.

Ive been driving trucks for 15 years and the last 9 Ive had a GMC. I loved that truck and when the transmission started to go I decided to buy a new Chevrolet. I decided to buy a Chevy. The truck was dropped of to me by someone at the dealership and had 300 miles on it most of witch from the drive to my house. From the moment I took my first drive (after I already owned it) it was shaking. It always shakes but sometimes its really bad and dangerous. I told the dealership right away and they fed me a lot of lies. They 100% agree its shaking but wont fix it or do anything for me. They changed my tires and my truck drove worse than before. I filed 2 claims with Chevy. One asking for a buy back and they denied my claim. Also one for some kind of trade assistance and they offered me $1,500.00. This truck has had other issues since I got it. The check engine light has come on twice and had to be turned off by the dealer. Also the steering wheel tilts to the left even after being aligned multiple times. I would not suggest buying a Chevy. Not only are they not good quality. Chevy does not stand by their products and warrantys. This had been a terrible experience and its nowhere near over.

The Chevrolet HHR was an OK summer car and its cute. Bought it brand new and it had thousand miles on it and the engine doing nothing but problems with our body. Ive never buy a Chevrolet ever again and I would not recommend it to any other person that Im post to friends or family. It was complete garbage. I would definitely improve the motor aspects of the car itself in the whole body. It was very weak and needed much replacements during the time Ive had it. But other than that, the seats are comfortable and clean. The radio was nice and I love the bass and the option to change the sound for each song if needed.

I sold my Mercedes CLS500 to buy a VOLT, it broke my heart but I found it necessary at that time. And I like the Volt, in sports mode it will outrun anything, the mileage is great, barely needs service, but it has one big downside - propulsion problems. At any given time theres a good chance your Volts little gas engine will start howling up like crazy, you will drive max 20 mph and sit (roll) and wait until the car gets over his propulsion power reduced moment... what can be very inconvenient if not dangerous on a freeway or driving up a hill. You might give it to your dealer for software updates, as this is the only service this car needs :) But the problem will come back. Also the initial 45 miles on a battery will get less and less, mine is currently 27. How much that all annoyed me? I bought my Mercedes CLS back and now we have 2 cars that could not be any more different form each other. Guess which one I drive most....

My 2019 Chevy High Country has been a nightmare. Within my 1 st week owning my High Country I began to experience transmission problems. It would shift very hard between gears 3-5 up and down. I got hold of my dealer, Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield Mo, informed them of the issue, a shop foreman took a ride with me and Agreed it was not right. We set an appointment for one week out, I thought this strange to wait a week for such a serious defect, the truck got much worse during the week. I then took truck in, after 2 days I called to check on it. The dealer had not even looked at the truck, I expressed my extreme displeasure in this, my truck is my work truck and need all my tools to do my job as a home builder. I then thought it important to contact Chevy, I called customer care, they opened a case # and said a specialist would call within two days, 3 & 1/2 days later they had still not called. In the meantime I learned the truck I traded in was still at dealership, I called them and Chevy customer care and stated I am extremely unhappy with my brand new $65,000 truck having transmission issues within the first three weeks of ownership and wanted to unwind the deal. I would buy my old truck back and give them back their lemon truck that I had purchased, Reliable Chevrolet refused to not sell the trade truck, Chevy customer care, stated they would reach out to Reliable Chevrolet and see if they can help us get this resolved. In the meantime Reliable Chevrolet finally got my truck in to service and said it needed a brand new transmission. They contacted Chevrolet and they agreed and said they were shipping a new transmission. Would take 2 to 3 days for it to arrive & another day to install it.I called in in three days later to check and see if they had received the transmission only to find out that Chevrolet engineers had change their mind and said it needed a modulator part to work correctly. I was very displeased because as stated above they told me to continue to drive the truck for a week, it’s smoked, I could smell the transmission oil burning, and the hardness of the shifting had to be doing permanent damage to the truck. I have been a loyal customer of Chevrolet, for all of my personal truck and my company vehicles for employees have been Chevrolet’s. In the last 10 years I’ve purchased 25 brand new Chevrolet trucks. With my experience from this 2019 Chevrolet High Country, and the way I was treated by Reliable Chevrolet Springfield Missouri, and the very poor customer service from Chevy customer care who never did call me back until after week after Reliable Chevrolet returned my truck, I will never again purchased a Chevrolet vehicle or deal with Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield Missouri. My best advice is Buyer beware. My only voice With a large corporation like Chevrolet and this dealership which is very large in six states, is my buying power, they will no longer enjoy my business or have me or my company as customers, I have always spoken very highly of Chevrolet and actually argued with Ford owners about quality and service and brand loyalty, no more.

My Tahoe LTZ is all and more they said it would be. It is very stylish and beautiful. It has snap when you press on the gas at zero and even snap at 60 miles per hour. There is plenty of room for 6 people but I will say that the 2 sitting in the very back need to be agile or of the younger generation. Overall, I love my Chevy Tahoe LTZ. I purchased the 2019 Chevy Silverado Custom 4 door crew cab about 1 month ago. After seeing several of the other models and comparing the Trail Boss, the LTZ and others I went for what I thought was 1 grade below but, still above the work truck. The vehicle I wanted was being used by the dealers fleet dept. After taking a quick peak of the outside they took the truck to clean while I went to close the deal. After a few days of driving I realized the center console did not even offer storage. The truck drives heavy and lacks some of the great features my base 2015 Ram truck offered. Last week I jumped in my friends 2018 Ford F-150 work truck and it blew my 1500 custom out of the water with features on the steering wheel and stereo that come standard. Chevy is nickel and diming their customers. I will never buy one again and can not wait to get rid of it!

Never take the Dealership extended warranty on any car: They will do as little as possible, to the extent of blatantly making ridiculously accusations that actually insult your intelligence while looking you straight in the eye!!! They must be trained at this! Most of the time they try to insinuate that youre at fault and you should pay for the repair! Or the problem is a figment of your imagination! Not just with GMC/Chevy, Also w/ Honda. Most vehicles are built well enough to just get them pass their extended warranties! All in all my GMC 3500 extended Savanna van has given my family and I two wonderful trips From Jersey to Key Largo towing two Wave runners, Full Scuba equipment for three, Fishing poles and tackle! We removed the seat behind the front seats out to give us more room for traveling (great idea!!!). My friends l take on fishing and golf trips seats six w/ one sleeping in the rear seat!!! The one in the rear seat love it!!!

I got the Chevrolet for cheap and was in need of a vehicle. The parts are not expensive and easy to find as well. And Vermont is where I live and there are plenty of Chevy dealers around and mechanics dont mind working on Chevys so thats a plus. Everyone loves American made cars. Cheap and easy. The car stereo is not very great though. And there is nothing electric about the car. The windows even have manual rollers on them. The windshield wipers kind of are not very good either but that doesnt really have to do with the model car. The wheel baron is going and that sucky. It has minor problems like the window and door wont open but the rust under it I dislike the most. Still, it has been one of the best cars I have owned even though its old. It has lasted me much longer than I thought it would. If I had to drive a Chevy again I would definitely choose a Chevy over many other car models out there. The engines on Chevys like to run for miles and miles.

I dont drive much but its held up well despite being 15 years old now. It was a stylish car when purchased. I have had a good experience. Its been a sturdy and affordable car with only minimal repairs needed. This car has worked well for both city and country driving, for family trips and also as a great work car. Dependable, affordable to buy, to insure, and to repair, handles well during Iowas four seasons. However, the body paint hadnt worn the best, car does show some rust. But it has worked ok for family but on the small side for use with car seats and booster seats.

In 2015 I bought a brand new Chevy Sonic so that I would not have to put money into a car besides maintenance. Well since the car was under 2 years old I’ve been spending thousands of dollars and 1 part breaks every year for the last 3 years and GM refuses to do anything about it. They told me it’s cover, well the part is covered. Still that’s $55 but the labor is not which is over $400 dollars. I’ve took my car in the shop because it continuously jerks. I spent about $1400 2 shop visit plus a new purge valve which they only charge me for the part because they missed it. (This is also the same valve that has broke for 3 years straight) But they said that’s why the car was still jerking. The valve was missing. But got it home it was doing the same thing but worst so I personally called GM to do something about their brand of car. Do you think they did anything? NO they direct me back to pay another Chevy dealership $160 for another diagnosis. I will never in my life support this business and I will make sure to tell all my family and friends to never buy a Chevy.

I love my Chevy Silverado 4x4 truck. I am a realtor and it is so comfortable when I go to show houses. Does not matter if I am driving in the city or highway, no more back pain at all. This full-size truck has spacious interior and exterior and strong V8 engines. I think the Silverado has a nicer interior and it also rates slightly better for reliability than other trucks. It is very quiet and rides great. Nice tight ride and handling. The biggest change for me is the mileage. Real-world driving city and highway on the very first tank 17.5 mpg. The best so far was 21.8! I will never look at another truck again, I am a Chevy girl for life!!!!

I purchased the Malibu brand new with 52 miles in March 2016. The first 6 months was good. The gas mileage did not meet what was specified but it wasnt bad. Towards the end of the year my car wouldnt start after stopping at a local grocery store. I had to wait till 2 hours later for it to mysteriously cut back on. Once it did the air was stuck on high and the radio wouldnt come on. Took it the following Monday to the dealership that determined the computer needed a reboot. Everything was fine for a few more months then the car cut off again. This time the dealership could not find anything. The car continued to cut off randomly at times while driving. Each time two different Chevrolet dealerships could not find the problem or cause. I am concerned for my safety as this occurs while driving. This makes me rethink and question the brand Chevrolet.
