Mercedes-Benz, commonly referred to as just Mercedes, is a German luxury automotive marque. Mercedes-Benz and subsidiary Mercedes-Benz AG are headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Mercedes-Benz produces consumer luxury vehicles and commercial vehicles.

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz SLC is a spry convertible with an elegant design and a punchy turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Not only is the rear-wheel-drive SLC entertaining to drive, thanks in no small part to its agile handling, it’s good on gas and offers enough trunk space for a weekend getaway’s worth of luggage. Pack heavier, however, and you’ll need to keep the top up. That’s because, when it’s lowered, the retractable hard top takes up about half the available trunk volume.

Product Reviews:

Our 2015 S63 Coupe has leather that is peeling back and shrinking on the dash. Granted this is partially my fault because we leave our black car in the South Florida sun for long periods of time, but a car that cost us $194k plus taxes should hold up a little better in the heat. Even though the car is still under warranty, Mercedes Benz USA will not cover the dash. Needless to say we will not be purchasing another Mercedes in the near future.

I purchased my 2018 C300 a couple of months ago from a dealer about 90 miles from where I live and it is still under warranty, I am having a sensor light come on and the dealership says it’s not covered.

I love my car...HOWEVER, the price to get it worked on at a Mercedes dealership is absolutely ridiculous! They will try to get you to change your windshield wipers and charge you several hundred dollars when you can buy online and spend 50. I don't know if the upkeep price of the little things that go wrong are worth the hassle and cost. You really need someone who is Mercedes certified to work on your car. I brought mine into a shop to get an alignment and they couldn't do it so I will have to bring to the dealership.

I recently purchased a 2016 GLC300 and am appalled by the Navigation System. The GPS gives a one mile prompt when giving turn instructions. I was in the left lane of a 4 lane highway and heard the prompt "prepare to turn right"... no distance stated... no arrow on GPS screen to show mileage before turn. The prompt is ONE MILE from the turn. I was almost in an accident trying to get from the left lane to the right exit. If anyone uses a GPS on your cell phone you know there is an arrow with mileage stated for your next turn. The GPS on the Mercedes does not have this so you have no idea when your next turn is coming. Then the next prompt is 1/4 mile from the turn. Way TOO little notice for safe driving. It's embarrassing to be driving an expensive car with your cell phone in the cup holder utilizing another navigation system because the Mercedes is SO INADEQUATE. If Mercedes wants to market to younger drivers, they have to catch up with technology. Oh... and another thing... my home address isn't in the GPS system. I was told the system is only updated every year to year and a half. Again... a cell phone Navi system is updated to the minute. Get with the 21st century, Mercedes!

In the past few months I have had four flat tires on my 2011 E350. It seems that I keep getting flats from slight pot holes or even slight cracks or uneveness in the road that I drive on. I have become wary of driving my car as I may get stranded. The tires are fairly new and suddenly I am getting these complete flats (not from nails but driving in a slight pot hole or uneven surface) in the past two months. I have had this car two years prior without issues. Wondering if anyone else has tire complaints on the E350 and give me suggestions of why this could be happening.

5 months into my 2011 MB E350 BlueTech lease the front left tire blown on a highway. The tires are run-flat Bridgestone Turanza EL400-02 MO Extended 245/45R17 95H. I stopped the car and saw the rim made a cut in a sidewall. Not repairable, I had it replaced. 45 days later, another front tire was again blown on a highway the same way. I put on a spare and ordered replacement. 2 days later, the third tire blows the same exact way. All incidents were on the roads. I travel for 10 years and never had any issues with my previous cars. I complained to local dealer and was told it was caused by my "way of driving". Ridiculous! The tire repairman told me these run-flats are not flexible and have a very thin sidewall so it gets punctured by the rim. I feel MB should compensate me for what I paid replacing their tires.

My experience at Euromotor Cars in Bethesda, MD has been dismal. I had an accident and I took my car to the dealership/body shop to be repaired. The damage was assessed and I was asked about a dent on the other side of my car. I explained that that dent was not part of my accident claim. The employee asked me if I wanted it fixed for $100. I agreed to have it done and to pay for it out of my own funds.Over a month and a half later, when my car was finally fixed, I inquired about the work on the other dent and I was told that the quote was incorrect. It was really $2000! When I complained about the quote, I was told that they just made a mistake and that I was trying to get something for nothing.I explained that if I was trying to be dishonest, I would have included all of the damage in one claim. I added that although I lost my 6 figure job and was now working for 60% of what I formerly, I still pay Mercedes every month and that my husband and I own 3 Mercedes and SMART car. I was told that I should have sold my car and driven a $200 clunker. I was trying to explain that I live up to my obligations and that I felt Mercedes should do the same. So much for being a loyal customer who tries to do the right thing. I guess Mercedes doesn't value my business. The dent in my car has not been fixed and I have made a formal complaint to the National Consumer Service Center.

I have a 2006 ML350 that has 100,000 miles and is worth about $13,000. The check engine turned on so I took it to the agency and the estimate to fix it is over $9,500. In the dealership they told me to call Mercedes USA and after a long talk and wait from them they offer a 10% discount on the repair. A car that has always been serviced correctly and that is supposed to last 300,000 miles definitely does not. Mercedes knew that those parts were defective and changed them on future models but they will not be fixing what they sold that is defective. I would definitely be thinking again about buying a new Mercedes in the future.DON'T BUY MERCEDES.

Suspension drive air not as portrayed. The vehicle is claustrophobic for the rear seats. Suspension plays a major roll in terrible roads or off road drives. Tech does not adapt to the harsh environment. Displays and feel are totally different and nerve racking as to the investment.

I recently (Nov 2014) traded in my C-300 (2012) for the new C-300 (2015) at the London dealership. After a few weeks my daughter complained that her door (left passenger door) would not close properly. We unfortunately ignored her and continued driving the vehicle. Later in January, whilst driving with my family the rear door alarm came on, in a panic I asked my daughter to hold the door while I parked in the emergency lane. On inspection I noticed the door handle awkwardly open, even with constant pushing the door would not close!I took the car into the London dealership where the car was inspected (I also pointed out other quality concerns which I still feel have not been addressed). Later in the evening I was told, "We have checked the back door and oiled the mechanism/door lock and this should fix the problem." On my further instance I was told the whole door locking system would be replaced as a precaution until then I could drive my car as it was safe to do so. Happy that qualified Mercedes Benz technical staff had given me a green light to drive without fear of safety concerns I returned home. One week after, the same incident repeated itself with my family in the car! I called the team at service adviser and informed him of the incident. I expected to hear something reassuring but was told the parts were on backorder, "I will get back to you tomorrow on how we can solve this for you." As Mercedes Benz, I would expect a much higher standard of product quality and customer care, both of which are absent. Does Mercedes Benz not care about serious safety concerns on their cars? I fear not only for my safety but the safety of other families that may experience this or worse. Please live up to the promise you make to your customers.
