Audi Automobile Model 2021 Audi TT / TTS

2021 Audi TT

The Audi TT was an instant style icon when it first debuted decades ago, and it remains a design-focused, somewhat sporty two-door today. The standard TT is available as either a coupe or a convertible, while the more powerful TTS is coupe-only (we cover the highest-performance TT RS separately). While it’s not as performance-oriented as some sports-car rivals such as the Toyota Supra or Porsche 718, the TT handles well and is reasonably fun to drive. It comes standard with a 228-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, and the TTS bumps that engine’s output up to 288 hp. Both models come standard with all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission—no manual is available.

It is safe and others should have it to not be in danger when this is a great car for almost everywhere to drive through such as off roads, some highways, streets in neighborhoods, the roads off at the stores, also the drive thrus. I would say it has a nice appearance and should be recommended for others so they can appreciate the looks of the car and how well it is for people to drive with barely any problems having to be on the car at all.The various upgrade helps it get lighter and to be more safer they add protection inside the car also which is very great for kids, children so they wont have any technical difficulties as the other fast supercars that dont really have any protection inside, within or without it. An Audi helps gets people to places like an average car. The capacity and the weight the car takes on is incredible because it still holds against heavy people such as myself and my other family members who are always entering my car to go to places wherever. For others it would helpful so there would still be a engine functioning.

I leased a car with Audi in Dec of 2015 and prepaid my taxes. In May of 2017, the car was stolen. There were injuries to the driver. Audi came back to me in 2019 trying to collect property taxes again. At no time did Audi attempt to make the situation better nor did they even discount the second lease. They also failed to turn in the car as stolen in 2017 with the assessment. And then they turned me over to a collection agency after coming forward two years later.

We purchased a new Audi A6 TDI in 2014. We have monitored all the court action but really just been waiting. Recently we took our car to Larson Audi in Fife for some service. The goodwill package that we had received but never activated had expired. When we called Audi to request they reissue it they pretty much told us to get lost. We did not lie, cheat and rip off consumers but they treated us like criminals, it was horrible and embarrassing. This after we had spent nearly an hour on the phone and on hold and listening to all their recorded messages. I would never buy another Audi or Volkswagen product given how poorly we were and are being treated.

Getting an A4 was a dream come true. Got the sport package and the quattro which were standard in the car I looked at. You could go with less but why would you? You look at this car and you know this is a great vehicle. Looks good and comfortable yet performs like a true performance car. The dealer will help you add any little feature you want. I want satellite radio which was not in the car I looked at. Also, they immediately got me a radio in the car I wanted. Was very impressed with the passenger capacity. I am a tall guy so plenty of leg room in the back seat. Also love the seat memory function. When you get in it adjusts to your weight. Heated seats are also a great add benefit as well.

Back in 2017, car had EPC light illuminated, would lose power while driving, would idle roughly and then not turn on. Had it towed to Audi Honolulu. Found electrical wiring burning through to the gas tank (couldve blown up) and so they replaced the gas tank and the wiring at their goodwill more like to save a lawsuit. Anyways April 2019 now, same issues with EPC light, idling and losing power then it not turning it on. Got it towed to Audi El Paso. Apparently, cylinder 1 and 2 in the engine are at 0 psi compression and we need a new engine.Mind you every service has been done at an Audi dealership and its only got 60,000 miles on it. Told they wont be covering any costs and told by Henry at Audi El Paso he wont even provide a loaner vehicle unless we agree to pay $10-13k for a new engine. What a joke. My thing is why wasnt this issue found in 2017 when the car had the exact same issues? Its their job to fix the car right. I am going to be taking my claim further until I get results. Googling the same car and I see so many people with the same issues. When will Audi take customers seriously? Makes you wonder how many Audis are a safety hazard driving around and could blow up any second. My families safety comes first and it should come first for Audi too.

I purchased a 2005 Audi A8L a year ago (Jan. 18, 2011) from Checkered Flag Audi. This was supposed to be my dream car, but it’s a nightmare, a lemon. This was not an impulse purchase as I own a 1997 Audi A6, which is the perfect car with no major problems. I’ve always purchased new cars, but the A6 was my first used purchase. I like the look of the A8, but not the new A8 price. So for months I looked for the perfect used Audi A8 with reasonable miles and nice features. So I didn’t hesitate when I found the 2005 A8L at your dealership. However, it has been the worst mistake I’ve ever made. The car has spent over (200) two hundred days in service since I purchased it last year. I’ve been making car payments on a vehicle that I can’t drive because it’s in the service department on Virginia Beach Blvd. The last time I saw my car was Dec. 16, 2011, and it was broke down on the side of the interstate. Here’s a list of some of the things that have been replaced, repaired or broken by the Audi service technicians. The list may not be complete since I’m not able to locate the car and retrieve the service records in the glove compartment. The front end replaced (a problem when we initially purchased the vehicle).New radiator, which we had no problems with until we took it in for service.New water pump (scheduled maintenance).Electrical system (MII). Had problem during test drive and took 2 trips and over 80 days to diagnose and fix.Lock and lug set (dealership lost when diagnosing front end work).Serpentine belt (scheduled maintenance). The whole pulley and belt system due to improper install. This caused my car to break down on the interstate on December 16, 2011 and it’s still at the dealership. I’ve not received any communication since the 1st week in January 2012. A dent in the rear bumper while being serviced. This happened while the car was being service.Damage windshield reservoir due to frontend work (damaged when the front end was serviced and has not been replaced).Cracked center console due to MII replacement (damaged by Audi technician during installation).Bad rear air shock, which is a problem we discussed with Alan **, Mark (the car salesman), and the business manager when I signed the contract. Alan assured me that since the car hadn’t been serviced they would diagnose the problem and fix it. I was told it was not a covered repair and they packed it with grease.Battery replacement--during one of the many service appointments the battery ran down. It was in the shop for over a month when I received the call. I was forced to pay $186.00 to replace the battery and it was clearly not something I caused. This is an excessive amount of repairs. I would understand and expect to have these problems if I purchased my car from Charlie Faulk or The Auto Connection. However, I purchased my car from Checkered Flag Audi, a so-called reputable dealership. I found out that the car was not service prior to me purchasing it. That explains the problems during my test drive which the manager (Alan) assured me that everything would be taken care of (the problems would be minor). I guess they need to make the quota for the month at my expense. My car has been in the shop on every major holiday, except for Thanksgiving. We can’t take it out of town because it will not make the trip. I bought this car for my wife, and I don’t ever want to see her stuck on the side of the busy interstate again. I’m paying car payments on a car that I don’t have; more important, the car won’t live pass the loan amount. I only have a year left on my warranty and I fear that I will be stuck with an unusable car because you sold me a bad product. Checkered Flag Audi should be ashamed to sell such a poor product. I purchased my car from your dealership because I wanted a quality used car from a reputable establishment. This is not the case.I believe I’ve been very patient and cooperative in this matter, but enough is enough. I’ve left many messages for Alan and my calls have not been returned. I will be seeking legal counsel or better yet 10 On Your Side to expose the type of dealership that I purchased my car from.

There were plenty of models for me to choose from and packages were varied. Also the pricing on models allowed me to consider different options. Many on site vehicles to test drive. Very sleek look. Regardless of the model they all were very well design. Loved the options of the interior. Leather looked great and tan leather was awesome. Also color variety was nice. Was excited to get heated seats and a navigation system for a great price. Seats an average amount of people. There was decent leg room in the back and the passenger seat allowed for quite a bit of room. Also enjoyed the mobility of the back seats.

The Audi has a lot of different models and they range from the more affordable A3, to the luxury R8. Theres something for everyone whether they need a sedan, SUV, or sports car. The smallest sedan (A3) still comfortably fits five people and the luxury sedans are very spacious and the SUVs even more. The R8 is pretty spacious even for it being a sports car. Audis also have a very sleek and beautiful design. Lights can make or break a car, and Audi lights are very nice. The shape of the car is very recognizable and distinct. They have a lot of different upgrades to choose from too. You can personalize the color of the exterior and interior, upgrade your radio, camera, GPS, etc.

I recently paid off my 2011 A4, financed entirely through Audi Financial Services. I needed the title to purchase a new A4 Prestige. I called Audi Finance to get the title. I was told that they had sent it to my home address after the last payment had been made. When I said I had never received it, the customer service rep said they would look into sending a lien release letter so I could go to the DMV and pay for a duplicate title... so I could buy another Audi. I then asked for them to send me a duplicate title. After a long wait she said they could do that for $25 and it would take 4-6 weeks. Which is amazing since they never sent the title, I never missed a payment, and I was eager to go to the local Audi dealer to finance the purchase of a 2017 A4 Prestige. Thats not going to happen. I loved my A4 but Im not going to pay Audi Finance for the privilege of being treated like garbage. The BMW 330ix looks pretty nice...

UPDATED 1/12/2021: I bought a brand new Q7 from Audi 3 yr ago with 5 miles on it. At least 2 of those yrs my truck would say down 1 quart of oil at least every couple months and I would always take it in to Audi then it started being monthly. It would read down 1 qt of oil and I still would take it in thinking that this was normal :(. So now my Q7 dash saying down 1 quart of oil. It’s been 3weeks and when I took it in to Audi I demanded to know why is this happening :(. I was informed that I need my engine to be rebuilt which will cost $19,000 and that my warranty just expired a few months ago @50,000. I complained BIG TIME then Audi said they will pay 75% but I’m responsible for $4980 which I still feel is crazy. How do I go from $89,000 new truck to a piece of junk in 3 years. I HATE I choose Audi to invest my money with cuz this was a waste. :(ORIGINAL REVIEW: I save my hard earn money for 5 years to be able to put a down payment on my Dream 2017 Audi Q7... I was so excited. I dotted all my is and crossed all my t’s just to end up with a Lemon. :( I did research on my Audi truck before purchasing it and when the time came as a single mother I was so excited to finally for the 1st time purchase me a brand new truck with only 3 miles on it... This new Truck quickly went from Dream truck to nightmare truck. :( About a month after I bought my new truck I was hearing a squeak from my breaks. I immediately called the dealership and they told me that was Audi new braking system and with a lil more wear & tear on my truck it would go away. But it never did. :( 3 months later I took my truck to Audi dealership because the squeak From my breaks got louder to the point when I leave for work @5 am my Neighbors could hear me which was so embarrassing as a 1st time new proud car owner... (I’ve had 5 used vehicles in my life all which were a piece of crap always need’n work... I thought my dream Audi truck would be different.)So when I took my truck to Audi they acknowledged that they can hear what Im hearing But at this time there’s nothing that could be done because their system is not showing nothing mechanical is wrong with my truck. So I’m like, You hear this loud ** noise But youre gonna stand here in my face and tell me nothing can be done at this time to keep putting wear and tear on my new Q7 and it will go away? And Audi was like YES.On another occasions I called and complain that the noise is even louder and someone in the service department told me the next time I drive my 2017 Audi Q7 put some speed behind driving then hit breaks real hard and that should fix the problem. Uhhh, I said, that don’t seem safe. I was pissed and felt like I had been had by this premiums upscale car company. So I call corporate and again to my surprise They ask me, What did the dealership say when you took it in? And in so many words the lady says, We can’t do nothing about your truck unless the dealership says it’s a problem. I couldnt believe my ears. I was so hurt. I felt like I was dealing with a slick talking used car salesman. So my complaints and taking my trucks back to different Audis hoping to get this problem fix went on till right now as I write this complaint. And I have yet to still get anyone at Audi to do anything to fix my problem. Its like I NEVER had a brand new vehicle because from the beginning It was a problem... My prayer is that someone learn from my mistake in putting your trust in where I bought my brand new 2017 Audi Q7 and where I’ve communicate with them about this noise on numerous occasions. Audi Financial located 2490 Skokie Valley Rd Highland Pk, IL 60035. I’ve also complained and Have taking my Truck on a few occasions to Audi Orland Pk 8021 159tg St Tinely Pk, Il 60477.As a single mother you hear all the time about how salesmen and dealerships take advantage of women and I do feel like that’s whats happening to me. When I’ve spoken to my Pastor, friends or co-workers about this issue Im having with my truck everyone is shock that Audi is treating me and my truck situation like they Have over this year. My Pastor told me, It’s not that something went wrong with your vehicle. That’s the big thing. It’s how youre being treated about the whole thing... with no respect or not standing behind Audi name. I will continue to write letters & complain about Audi till someone Listens and helps me... Thank you for your time.

A garage door crushed my rear window. The car has been in the dealers body shop for 10 weeks. I was informed that they are waiting for a part that will be shipped from Germany. The body shop told me that this happens with new model cars. Perhaps buyers should be told that this may happen to them. Meanwhile I have been renting a car for 10 weeks and have not been offered a loaner. Poor service in two counts. R **.

We purchased a Pre-Owned Audi Q5 from Audi-West Chester, PA that was burning a quart of oil per month by 30,000 miles. I notified the salesman and manager the same day of purchase that the add oil message had appeared on the way home. From that point on neither would return my calls or emails and were always in meetings when I showed up. By 70,000 we were burning a quart each week! All along we were told by Audi West Chester that this was normal for any 2.0T.Recently I scheduled an Oil Consumption Test to be done at another dealer that I have dealt with, Mechanicsburg PA which was a nightmare of a process. This dealer confirmed numerous times over the past 2 years that burning oil was normal while I was in for other service. When I returned to conclude the oil test I was told the engine was burning 3 quarts of oil per 1,000 miles and Audi would probably cover 75% of the repairs, but before they could submit a claim I would have to pay $289 for another engine test.Yesterday, I received a call saying Audi agreed to pay 25% of a $5,000 repair due to high mileage. The fact that I had written documentation of the problem existing at 30,000 miles made no difference. No part of this warrants the premium price paid for these vehicles. I hope the 2009-2011 2.0T class action law suit gets extended, then all 3 of my Audi vehicles would be involved in class actions. What a great company. Seeing Audi reduced the factory warranty after moving production to Mexico tells me Audi dealers know they must put on a good show in the sales department and then add some smoke and mirrors to rake in the cash for service. Great business model.

I have a 2014 Audi A6 3.0 and was reading the comments on this website when I came across the comment from one person indicating that on his A6, he experienced transfer of clothing dye to the seats. I have exactly the same issue with my A6. I complained to the dealer and got nowhere except that the dealer stated that they could remove it if I wanted them to. I just told them to forget it and DID it myself. The problem with this issue is that I owned a Subaru Legacy prior to the Audi (Subaru is much cheaper car), with perforated leather seats and never had this problem with the Subaru. Other than this problem and a couple of programming issues that I simply disagree with, I am totally satisfied with the Audi (The rating above refers only to the seat issue).

The car is constantly in for service. 25 trips to dealer in 4 years. Towed 6 times. AC at 3k broke, door handle for $600, Audi lied about oiling issue, and after national class action, they did a poor job of repairing motor. Timing chain sent 3 codes while under warranty and they cleared and sent us home. At 28k/98k miles, the timing chain failed and the engine repairs were $14k... Audi did not handle our requests very well. After a lot of patience, they only offered to sell us another Audi. Only to say our $50k car was worth $5500 with 98k miles. Great looking car, Audi just isnt worth the poor service issues...

I purchased an Audi A5 Cabriolet after owning an Audi A4 Cabriolet. The A5 is built without a trunk release inside the car. There was no way to open the trunk other than with the key fob. I am a new Audi customer and definitely did not expect this company to be so incompetent. First off, the app is a joke. It doesnt really do anything useful so we never use it. I also had a hard time connecting my Audi account to Audi Financial Service in order to set up an auto-pay. I tried numerous times but the website seemed to have an issue all the time. When I called the customer service to get help, there was a long wait about 20-30min in a Thursday morning around 9am PST, which shouldnt be the busiest time of the day or the week, and the representative who came on the line was very disrespectful and not helpful. He sounded like a high-school kid who wasnt motivated to do anything at all. So the only way at this moment to set up an auto-pay is to fill out the paperwork and mail it to Audi. Unbelievably old school. Ive only owned the car for 3-4 months but already regret it. Ive owned a few cars in the past from different makes, but Audi is definitely the worst.

Bought a certified pre-owned 2009 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0 in December 2010 and within two weeks the oil light came on. Brought it back for service, thought it was a simple oversight and that it had been fixed. Little did we know then how that yellow check oil light would come to dominate our lives, limit our use and enjoyment of the car, and empty our wallets. Within the first three years we had the car serviced so many times for excessive oil consumption that we finally took to the internet and found we werent the only ones with this issue. After 43,000 miles and countless service visits, we demanded that Audi rectify the problem and (because the car was still under warranty), they replaced the pistons and rings at no cost.Fast forward two years to December 2015, and, at 91,000 miles (just outside of warranty, of course) an ominous turn off engine immediately and check oil warning appeared on the dashboard. Brought the car in for service right away and found that the engine had a leaking intake manifold. Dealer replaced manifold at cost of $1K. One week later, check engine light went on. Brought the car back to Audi and this time, the water pump needed replacing (another $1K). A few days later, that ominous turn off engine immediately and check oil warning appeared again. Brought the car back YET AGAIN. Service department informed us that they had found metal shavings in the engine pan, indicating that engine parts were grating and the engine was compromised. They told us that we needed an entirely new engine, at a cost of almost $11,000!! We were livid. Dealer went to Audi North America and they offered to pay for half. Now we are stuck with a dead car and the prospect of having to pay another $5300 (for a total of $7300 since December) to make what is now a lemon drivable. We believe that Audi should take full ownership of this, as they replaced the pistons and rings on an engine that they knew was faulty. And, we are left wondering if the replacement of the intake manifold parts somehow compromised the engine, resulting in the engine failure (the timing of the engine failure was just a bit too coincidental). We bought this car for what we thought was exceptional Audi performance, reliability and service. Its unbelievable to see here how many others have suffered the same substandard customer service for what is clearly an inferior, shoddily manufactured car. Perhaps theres another class action suit against Audi- this time for engine failure- waiting to be brought to light. My hope is that by writing this, others will steer clear of all Audi cars, both new and used. Maybe once Audis bottom line is affected, theyll start paying more attention to quality control and the real people who drive their cars.

This is an Australian review of a sale conducted in Australia and this matt
This is an Australian review of a sale conducted in Australia and this matter is due to be hear at a tribunal hearing later this month, but thought I would share my experience as l am sure, well l am certain it happens by default to many others. Purchased the 2013 Q5, fully optioned for around $90K AUD, as a tempter to buy from this dealer, they gave me the Audi Corporate Package - (3 years free service and invitations to corporate events, race days, family days etc.). Noticed in the first 3 months when I went out on long drives, the Sat Nav was giving out inaccurate road directions, wrong time estimates for arrival, in some cases up to 2 - 3 hours difference. On a highway that a bypass built some 4 years ago, when I was on that bypass, it didn’t exist on my maps, according to the Sat Nav on was driving on farmland, but clearly I wasn’t - it was obvious the Sat Nav had software that was many years old. When I went to book my first service - I was told that the first service was going to cost me $1000 (this was some 9 months after I purchased the car), I said NO I get free servicing for 3 years, he said NO, I can’t see anything, so you have to pay, so I showed him my Audi corporate card and then he says, oh yes okay, it’s free. I tell him that the Sat Nav needs an upgrade because it’s so old - he says, that will cost $800 - I tell him the car is brand new when I purchased it - in fact it wasn’t even on the lot, l was waiting for it to arrive from Germany, that’s how new the car was - he said, it’s a spare part and so you have to pay $800.I speak to the sales guy who sold me the car - he sympathizes, says he will see what he can do, but invariably the expectation is the consumer needs to pay - I never hear back from him. I call the General Manager of the dealer and he bluntly states, it’s a part you have to pay for it - that they sold the car as is from the manufacturer. So I call Audi Australia and they say it has nothing to do with them, that the sale was between myself and the dealer and I have to take it back there.I call Australian consumer affairs, they send out an officer and he negotiates a compromise that I pay 50% of the retail price of the upgrade - I refuse. Matter is before a tribunal hearing later this month. I call Audi Australia and say in 11 months, I have never been invited to any Audi event, any family day, race day, corporate function, yet it was part of the purchase price of the car and influenced where the car was purchased from. Audi Australia calls back - oh yes we see we didn’t do that, well we will make you a priority for the next event. To this day, priority has not equated to definite, nor have I been told what event, or when it’s at - nor by virtue of the fact that I hold a valid corporate Audi pack, that I should be invited to attend that event anyway so nothing was been offer to compensation the last 11 months - so now the hearing will be on 2 counts. I am told by Audi, that Audi upgrade their software on the Sat Nav every 4 years and I purchased my car on the 24th of December 2013, and the global upgrade happened on the 14th of Jan 2014, so it was just bad luck for me.One of the many claims is that a product was sold that was not fit for purpose and the selling a car as is, doesn’t apply to a new car, it needs to be fit for purpose and the reasonable intention of purpose. I would never of thought a company like Audi would conduct itself in the manner above, I am quite appalled and hence the litigation - this issues themselves aren’t big issues, but the conduct of both the dealer and the corporate company are appalling and rely on the fact that over here, people may think it’s too expensive or not worth the time to take them on - well game on Audi! Having said that, the Q5 is a fantastic car, one of the best I have ever had, but will never buy another one again!

I live on Long Island, New York, the Audi navigation could not find Laguardia Airport. Popular department stores are non-existent in navigation. Towns such as Woodbury and Baldwin also dont exist. Ive been back to dealership 3 times (they give a nonsense tutorial). They also state that most people use their phones instead.

I purchased the car used in Late August/Early Sept 2012 in New Jersey. The car had around 42k miles on it when purchased. Within month the oil light came on and I had it in. They topped it off (no receipt) and told me to watch it. Came in again Oct 19 and at that time they updated ECM software and replaced pressure regulating valve and front crank seal and started oil consumption test. They told me that the problem should be fine now. January 2013 EPS light came on and this time it was faulty steering column control module. Oil light back on March, April and every month since. They told me to just come in every time and they would top it off with no paperwork. Over the summer of 2013 the light started coming on every 2 weeks and I started topping it off myself because I couldnt keep running back there and getting into work late. I have had the oil changes done at the recommended intervals, always at the dealer. In Sept 2013 when the light came on again, I took it in and told them it had been coming on every two weeks for a couple of months. They said they would watch it again, and when it came on every two weeks, they did the oil consumption test for the second time. I had to pay for phase 1 and wait for the light to come back on which I did. I had it in two weeks ago for phase 2 and at that time the engine light had also come on. The car failed the oil consumption test and the catalytic converter needed replaced. I have an extended warranty which covers the catalytic converter, but they said the oil consumption issue was not and now I am over the original warranty. They were going to try to get Audi to do something but that was over two weeks ago and the oil light came on again. I had to wait for the catalytic converter to come in and they dont want me to bring it in until they talk to Audi. How long does it take to make a phone call? In the meantime, I am afraid of my engine seizing, which I have heard has happened, and I am tired of having to run to the dealer every other week. I have been in that place more than any other service department combined with all the cars I have owned. I am a 50 year old professional woman who takes meticulous care of my cars and this is absolutely absurd! My son is soon to get his license, and I certainly do not feel safe having him drive around in this vehicle. I have done research on this issue and I know there are a lot of unhappy Audi owners out there. I have been waiting for a class action suit to come about. Hopefully I qualify...Just a footnote...my daughter had a VW Passat when she first started driving and we had so many problems, the dealer took it back, and sold it at auction (He was a friend of the family though)! Sorry for the tirade, but I have reached my wits end! Today, February 22, 2014, I received notice that Audi was not going to assist in any way and the dealer may pay half of the cost to replace pistons and rings? Half? First of all half of what? I have no idea what the cost is going to be... I can only imagine its very expensive. Second, this problem has existed since the day I bought it and it was still under manufacturers warranty at that time. I don think I should have to pay anything for what is obviously a defective engine. I cant even sell the car in good conscience, but I am truly at a loss here and infuriated. Where is the consumer protection here? What are our options? Help...anyone!

The car is very different from other vehicles and the model options are great. I would buy again. Car fits all my needs. I prefer Audi sedans for my needs but they have other model types. The appearance of the car is very high end. The color choices are great too and they let you choose the colors of the car and let you do any upgrades you think would be better for the car. I also love the fact that I can suit it to my style and that it looks sporty but is also a great family car. Typically you can only hold one other passenger in the sedan models but they all have SUVs which hold more people so its good for families.

I bought a brand new Audi Q3 2015 last year. Audi was my dream car before, but after buying this car I am feeling guilty of buying this car. I had a service @ one of the dealership last year. They had done wheel alignment and rebalance last year. The service was bad and when I gave the car for routine maintenance at different dealership they wanted me to pay again for rebalancing and wheel alignment. I have contacted Audi to complaint on the bad service. They took a complaint but never called me back with resolution. One of the customer care representative told me that I have to reach out directly to dealer and they wont help me in this issue. I dont understand why I need to buy a luxurious car who dont even take care of their customer concerns properly. I will never buy this car and planning to sell this car in near future. Bottom line - its not my dream car anymore.

We had a horrible experience with the Q7 TDI Diesel Buyback program (2012 Audi). The process was long, hard to figure out and not very customer service friendly. I felt I was treated like I did something wrong. All I did was buy a Turbo Diesel Audi. My family of 4 were left without a car for 3 days, before we had our buyback money to buy a new car as we only have 1 for all of us. Everyone was rude to deal with. When you spend this amount of money on a car you expect a certain level of customer service, we did not get treated well. I would not recommend Audi to anyone I know. And I will not buy another Audi.

But the question is if some sand and micro level chips make damage and that also so small sometimes you cant realize seeing normally then where the quality product from Audi, is that duplicate of Audi? I leased a brand new car from Audi Queensway in Ontario in February 2015 because I thought Audis were awesome cars and naturally assumed the service levels would be too. After I purchased the car I found it to be noisy as if it was not sealed properly and took it back to Queensway. They looked at it several times and advised me that what Audis sounded like. I had a 20k Dodge that sounded much better. After a few more months, I was still unhappy and then took my Audi to Oakville on 03 September. I booked it in a week in advance and explained the problem. After a service person drove the car, he told me he suspected that the tire was causing this. After waiting the entire day, I called Audi to find out whats happening and was told that the tire needs replacing at my cost as its wear and tear. I explained to them ad nauseam that this was a new car and I reported this problem from the time I got this car. They werent interested nor helpful. They suggested I take it back to Queensway as its preowned. I then had to convince them that the car was bought brand new as they assumed its pre-owned. I also mentioned to them that I had purchased every possible warranty and insurance so that I do not have to have any issues.Audi Oakville was adamant that Queensway should sort out the issue. I explained that I bought an Audi and warranty and any dealer should be able to sort out the issue. After speaking ad nauseam to the service manager and admin person, no help was offered other than this is my fault and if I wanted the problem resolved, I should pay for a new tire. I was asked to pick up my vehicle (with the fault not rectified and bring it back another time). I explained that I needed my car for work and that I had taken the day off to get this service done. My wife took time off work and drove me to Audi to drop the car off. Now I also needed to get life to fetch my car. I was also given a lecture by the service manager about how my driving may have caused this issue. After explaining to him again its a new car, I discontinued my call due to his condescending nature. No loan car or hired vehicle was offered to me.I then called Audi head office to explain my dilemma. The first service person after listening to my issue then told me it will be sorted out the next business day. I told her I do not have a vehicle. She told me it was the end of her shift and could not help further. Apparently because she took the call, she could not get anyone else to assist. At 4 pm, she advised that she will arrange with Oakville to provide a hired car. We called back many times and this was not done. After many more calls to her, she had the audacity to hang up on my wife. She also advised no supervisors were available. After many more calls, another assistant directed us to a supervisor who was available named Sunny. Sunny was helpful and we then explained the entire story to him. HE advised that his boss is aware of the problem and at 6 pm last night advised that she will call me this morning.I called 4-5 times this morning and she did not answer. At 12:50 when I called again Audi head office was closed. Yes, now head office is closed and Audi Oakville who I called said my car is ready to pick up with the problem unresolved. I must pay 1500 Cad to have my wheel alignment checked and done and also pay for a new tire which they cannot do anytime soon. So here I am. Audi will not arrange for me to be fetched. I will take a taxi to fetch my car as my son starts school next week and I was asked to drive my car away from the dealership without a fault being repaired.I will advise my insurance company as I assume Audi will assume liability if anything happens due to the related problem. The service manager at Audi Queensway was helpful and has offered to look into the matter sometime next week. I was also advised that certain tires provided by Audi wears differently and this may be the issue. This was communicated by Audi Queensway and Audi Oakville. Imagine that a brand new car with less than 18000 km and I may have tires that wear easily.I spoke to my salesman who sold me the car and apparently I dont have much recourse in terms of returning my car. Ive owned Fords, BMWs, Volvos, VW etc. in the past and Ive never encountered such pathetic service. Never was I constantly given excuses of what cannot be done but rather how can they help me. I regret this purchase and wish I could cancel this transaction without financial consequence but assume now that my monies have been paid and my warranties are paid I am stuck with this vehicle. I will get rid of this car as soon as I can and will certainly go with another brand.

My 2010 A4 consumed oil from the moment I bought it used at 63,000 miles. It used 1 qt every 1000 miles and according to Audi thats normal. Using their math and Mobil 1 I would never have to change oil as I would have added 10 qts before it was time to change the original 5 qts in the pan. Audi said they fixed the car before I bought it but will not release the service records from the servicing dealer in Florida or from Audi of America. How can you comply with Class Action Settlement if you cant have access to the records. What are they hiding? Never mind, the car broke an engine valve at 101,000 miles, just after my extended warranty expired. Been round and round with Audi Customer No-Care, the Audi Customer Experience they call it. More like a nightmare. After providing all my mileage logs and records, service records and all the receipts from the auto stores from adding oil they say it is with Customer Retention and Resolution. I have filed complaints with several state attorneys general, the EPA and safercar.gov. Next will be letters to the Wall Street Journal, Car & Driver, Road & Track and Consumer Reports. We have to stand up to their arrogance and disregard for US Laws and our rights as owners and consumers. I cant afford a $7,000 repair and still make payments on a car I cant drive.

I lease an Audi A3, 2018. Within 11 months the car starts to lose power, while driving the car would be going 65 miles then randomly drops to 5 miles then starts back up, in 20-30 seconds. Went to Audi with the problem. They can’t find the problem or mimic the problem so they have the car back. It did it again while driving on the highway??? The car lost power and the driver behind me, switch lane to avoid me and ran into another car. I brought the car to Audi for over 5 months, and nothing can’t be resolved. Spoke to Audi of America, spoke to Terice and she was trying to help me, then she told me the same thing Audi tells their customer, The problem can’t be mimic, so they can’t do anything about it. I leased a new 2015 Audi A3 Cabriolet from Audi Palo Alto in October. A few weeks back as the car was climbing a hill enroute to Lombard street in San Francisco in Traffic, it started slipping backwards and refused to accelerate upwards. The cars behind me naturally honked and drivers were mad at my car not only blocking traffic but slipping backwards. When I switched off the car and tried restarting it would not start for 10 min. After 10 min, it started again and went up 100 feet and again slipped backwards. Somehow after an hour long traumatic experience, I got out of the hill. When I contact Audi to service the car, I was initially asked to take an appointment and no one at the dealerships service team took my call. Finally I found them and after testing the car, they told me there was a fault in the cars mechatronic system and that the part had to come from germany. After 2 weeks, they said they got the part and completed the repairs. I took the car and when I tried starting it after a few days, I got a transmission error message again. Weirdly, with my other set of keys, the car worked fine. When I tried contacting Audi, again no one responded. The service agent I worked with ** never answers to my voice mails. Overall I feel cheated and disappointed with Audi with a bad car and pathetic service... I am trying to get my lease terminated!

I own a 2014 Audi Q7 TDI and was forced to bring my car in for the diesel gate emissions fix. My car is ruined and unsafe to drive! I was promised a slight reduction in power and possible loss of 1-2mpg. I am down 4-5 mpg and over 10 mpg while towing a trailer. Car no longer has any mid-range power so I can no longer tow my trailer safely. Audi/VW deliberately understated the changes resulting from the emissions modifications from the diesel gate scandal. Anyone who owns a diesel VW/Audi resist from enrolling in the fix. It will ruin your car! The fix is a bigger lie than the original diesel scandal! I really dont know where to start. I can fill pages and pages showing what bad company I trusted when I bought an Audi Q5. The car is extremely bad, no quality at all. Many problems with the gearbox, the breaks squeaking, steering wheel making bad jerking movements, and the list goes on. But what is really the worst is not the extremely bad quality of the car but the unbelievably bad service. I never took my car to the Audi dealer and they actually knew what was the problem. It stayed one time a full month at the dealer and they were not able to know what was the problem. Now I am facing a problem with the ignition, they told me we need to update the software and we need to get the software from Dubai and I have been waiting for that for a month now and still nothing. Very bad car, extremely bad service and dealing with the Audi people is like dealing with crooked con experts. My car is by the way only at 40000 Km and I hate it already so much. My advice to all: DO NOT EVEN THINK OF BUYING AN AUDI.

Please be aware that Audi subcontracts out their Roadside Assistance. I was stranded for 2 hours with a flat tire. The Jack Rabbit company Audi uses accepted a call to assist me. I waited 2 hours. They did not show up. When I called to ask where they were they stated they do not change tires. No one called to let me know. Audi then called a different subcontracted company who sent a teenager who was unable to change my tire because he could not locate the wheel locks. He was never inserviced on its location.I had to call Audi back and after 3 hours they sent a flat bed to tow my car to Audi. I paid for this poor service for 3 years. They do not notify their customers that Roadside assistance is subcontracted out to multiple incompetent poorly inserviced vendors. In addition a Audi subcontracted company inspected my car at lease end. It received a score with no issues that I was responsible for. Within 48 hours I had 2 tires with nails in them. One had blown out while driving. Did they truly inspect the car thoroughly? I hope this helps all who read this and please do your own due diligence to verify their Roadside Assistance Protocols.

In 2009, I purchased a used 2008 Audi A4 S-line at Valenti Audi. I just paid off the car in March 2014. Last October, we were advised to replace the timing chain. When the timing chain goes, they said, the car will stop running. We were at 100,000 miles, so we put the $2500 timing chain in. Over the years, all service and repairs and maintenance were done at Valenti. We were very careful. The car seemed to use a lot of oil, and it ate tires, but we were told this was normal for AWD.I was very much looking forward to 5 more years of driving. A few days ago, the check engine light came on. Then there was a rattle. Then it sputtered. I took it to Valenti. They told me the camshaft was cracked and what I heard were pieces of it rattling around. The turbo had also gone. Oh - and my front drivers side tire was falling apart. That would cost, at a minimum, $4960, but it might be $9000 to put in a brand new engine. Then they revealed that on some Audi A4s there had been an extended warranty provided because of this camshaft problem - but not for my VIN number. And, they said, I have more miles on it now than the extended warranty would have covered anyway.Well, if I had known the car was going to blow up, knowing there was this warranty might have spurred me to find another car. My $7,000-8,000 trade-in has now become worth $0. Audi said they would take it as a trade-in if I bought a new Audi. $1500. And then they showed us a bunch of cars and offered us the sticker price on all of them, no discounts. They had us over the proverbial barrel. They clearly knew the manufacture of the camshaft was defective. We were not notified and were given no time to rectify this. We had the car consistently repaired at this place; they did not warn us of impending trouble. And then when it fell apart, we were told we could have $1500 for our car. Well, they said, “After all, it doesnt run. Its really not worth anything”.

Audi has reinvented itself by being the first to present the bolder grill style now seen in all brands. Current models appeal to both young and old buyers in a way few brands can. Their models tend to be less sleek and more assertive than competitors. Ultimately, their lineup portrays conservatism with a understated power and style buyers want. Audi is excellent in personalization under the hood and in performance enhancements. Most models are available in trim packages that include significant improvement for power, handling, ride control and braking. Their interiors are currently without equal and need little to no upgrades. Their technology options are current but not overly cutting edge.Depending upon the category of vehicle Audi general is average to above average in passenger capacity. Passenger comfort is more of a hallmark than capacity. They have everything you could want except hybrids. Audi has class leading small, medium and large cars. They have competitive SUVs and trendiest sport models. They are only rivaled by Mercedes for variety in performance models and upgraded trim packages.

I brought a new Audi A4 in 2013 and it has less than 50K miles on it as of today. Last year in June, the car doesnt accelerate and starts shaking while moving. I had to get it towed to the service shop where and after 3-4 days of tests, they informed me that they would need to fix the engine which would cost anywhere from 5-8K. Given that it was out of warranty, they expected me to bear the costs. It was ridiculous to even think that a premium car like Audi runs into such issues with less than 40K miles (at that time) and that they talk about warranty. It was really shameful and after several calls and discussions, they fixed the issue. However the fear of recurrence has always stayed and I have not been confident to take it for any long drives. And I got it serviced 3-4 months ago (450$ bill) and was praying that it continues to work fine. And again yesterday the car wouldnt start. The EPC lights turn on and again I had to get the car towed to the servicing shop. They now inform me that I should first get the starter plug replaced (845$ - parts and labor) so they can diagnose further as to why the EPC light is on. I dont know what else they are going to come up with tomorrow and the mere thought scares me. So much for a premium car. The car wouldnt even last 50K miles without an issue though I have been getting it serviced on time with Audi service center only. What are my options to pursue further with the Audi care team?

I own a 2014 Audi Q5 TDI that I had driven from Pensacola Florida to Kansas City Missouri to see relatives. During weekend of June 13 a warning came on dash of AdBlue fault, car will not restart in 400 miles. I called Molle Audi in Kansas City first thing Monday to try get car in for check and repair if necessary. I was told they had no appointment openings but they would try to work it in as quickly as possible. I informed them I MUST have car back the next week as I planned to drive back to Florida. After not hearing anything for two days, I called them on Thursday for status. They had not touched it and said they would try the next day. They did not touch it that day but promised they would get it the next Monday. It had sat for an entire week even though they knew I needed it urgently. Monday they did diagnose it as bad AdBlue pump and absolute soonest they could get it in would be Friday the 19th. I was told Audi policy was to not expedite shipments for any reason. The car did finally get repaired and I received it on Tuesday June 30. My complaint is that they do not care whatsoever about customer needs and will do exactly what they want when they want no matter the situation. I will NEVER darken the doors of that dealer again, nor will I ever purchase any German brand auto due to their arrogant, insensitive attitudes and business practices.

I was on my way home from work when my 2007 Audi Q7 died on me. Took it to the dealer (who of course was gonna ** me with parts and labor prices). Told me engines out of time and I need a new one. I am paying 600/month for a broken p.o.s. German engineering, super pricey car and my parents have an older Jeep running past my Audi... What a joke.

Hello car friends, well I am here to share my experience with Audi cars. I warn you this is not going to be a good review. My first experience with a Audi was a A-6 year of 2008. The electronic problems were non stop from windows to internal lights to the motor engine lights going bad in my car seat to my power window motor failing to my radio not shutting off which yes eventually drained my battery and left me stranded. This all happen with my car just being 3 yrs old. I can’t stress enough how unreliable Audi cars can be. There is more, my timing chain, starter also went bad all within 80,000 miles. I decided to sell the car and upgrade to a Q-5. What a huge mistake this decision was as well. My repairs on my Q-5 2013 have been even more of a headache. I noticed there are other reviews on here with other cars burning oil. Well I’m also a victim as well of the car burning oil with just 70,000 miles on the car. Thankfully it was under warranty but what a nightmare of experience. The dealership had my car for 3 weeks. The dealership is in upper saddle river NJ. This happen in the summer of 2017. Fast forward to just 2 weeks ago 03-19-2018 the car just skip timing I’ve been told the car is beyond repair and requires a new engine with just 110,000 miles that’s right a new engine. Thankfully I purchased the extended warranty. I can’t wait to get my car back. It’s going for sale immediately! Audi needs to stop worrying about the look of the car and focus on the soul of the car. I’ll never buy a Audi again!!!

Variety is great. The vehicle has hands on compatibility and an amazing stereo system stock inside with bass functions of a custom audio input system. Music is great for me and I loved that about the Vehicle. You cant go wrong with a classy, luxurious look. The vehicle has these looks plus the modernization of newer vehicles. The capabilities within its representation actually complements the vehicles abilities very well. I literally never see small cars with a lot of room but the Audi is made for small vehicle, great gas but holds more passengers than most cars and is about equal to an SUV passenger. Upgrading is Automatic. It also works very well for the car. I personally believe that if you want your dream car and get it drive until it Falls completely apart with this vehicle you would be driving for Eternity. They need to distribute a new vehicle call Audi Eternity.

Audi 2007 Cabriolet-Takata air bag recalls - Advised of Takata air bag recall by CARFAX (not Audi) on 3/10/2016. I immediately called and emailed dealership who advised they were not aware of recall arrangements but would get back to me when parts might be available. I subsequently did received notice of driver side airbag recall from Audi on 4/5/2016 with the letter indicating no replacement parts were available and I would be advised when they would be. I now have received another notice for the passenger side airbag with same note that no parts are available and I will be advised when that would occur. After 5 months, does anyone think (from a product manufacturing standpoint) that this is acceptable? Note to Audi USA--lack of definitive communication and action will always drive away your customers!

I drive a 2012 Audi TT RS. Life got in the way and the vehicle sat on my driveway (not running) for 540 days. During this time not a drop of water entered the vehicle cabin. BONE DRY!!! I finally got around to bringing the vehicle in for service. They replaced the battery, flushed the A/C, brakes and performed an oil change. They also performed an exterior and engine bay detail. Within 10 days the vehicle had 3 inches of water in the passenger side floor.I immediately called my dealership, Audi Sewell North Houston, and their response was, Oh, yeah I know what is going on. This is common on the Q5. Apparently there are two drain holes in the engine bay just below the windshield to allow water to drain out of the engine bay. These drains WERE NOW CLOGGED. The dealerships response was that they must have been clogged before. I find this assertion ludicrous as it SAT ON MY DRIVEWAY FOR 540 DAYS WITHOUT A DROP OF WATER IN IT!!!I took the issue to their GM, Jackson **, and he basically told me the exact same story I got from service. Which means he did no actual work and just regurgitated what he was told from service. I then took the issue to Jacquiline **, managing director, who did not get involved. I then took the issue to Audi of America who again repeated what the GM and service tech told me. So, I am stuck filing a claim with my insurance and having a vehicle with diminished value to flooding and both Sewell and Audi refuse to accept any responsibility. If you value your money I would stay as far away from both Sewell and Audi as possible.

I had terrible problems like delay, extra charges, poor service, etc., while buying Audi Q5 from Pashankar Auto, Audi Pune, India. And I was promised by Audi Pune that they will compensate this with an efficient service. After 6 months, my car had problems with the accelerator automatically increasing after 3 hours of continuous driving and engine temperature raising to 100 degrees Celsius. I made a complaint to Audi Pune to get it checked and to be provided a courtesy vehicle as promised by them during purchase. But even after 3 days, they are unable to provide a proper courtesy vehicle and take the vehicle for servicing. First of all, how does a car like Audi Q5 - 3.0 TDI had this problem after only 3000 km of driving and how can Audi Pune offer this kind of lousy service?

Although the appearance is quite good for the most cars, I would say more than average. The cars look also luxurious and modern at the same time. Also, it is a lot more expensive to fix compared to Japanese or Korean made vehicles.

I bought this car new in 2007 - A6. Today 80,000 miles basically 10,000 miles year, always took care of it like diamond service in time never speed, during this last 8 years I tried always find the best in the car and ignore the worst like when you love something you look only qualities. But the true is this car sucks. Today was raining. I went for lunch and for my surprise when I open the door a lake inside my car. Thats it - taking this to a Mercedes dealership. Get any money I can for it and moving to a Mercedes or something else. Audi is full of marketing but far from perfection. A car that can hold the rain is not a car.

Audi offers no help; no solution. The fix for me would be circa $1K. What could that possible mean to a rich organization like Audi. For me, however, because Im now retired, its not an option. Im one very disappointed customer in Audi brand and this will haunt me for the rest of my life and I doubt the credibility and integrity of Audi. Customers mean nothing to Audi in my view. My car has been lying in the Audi Polokwane branch for the past 5 months, I gave the dealership authorization to fix the vehicle on the 8th of February and they have never contacted me to give me any update on the progress since then no loan vehicle in the 6 months. Im still paying for the vehicle on a monthly basis and have to make alternative travel arrangements and also save money towards the hefty bill of approximately R67 000 initially R103 000. In all this Audi doesnt care how their loyal client to survive. My service history shows you that I depended on the vehicle because I used to service it on average every 3 months (15 000km). Its my only vehicle. Im struggling to carry on with my daily duties and AUDI JUST DOESNT CARE. To them it seems it was just GOOD RIDDANCE to rubbish when they sold me the vehicle. This A6 is my second Audi but honestly after this treatment I doubt I can ever buy this brand again. Now I doubt everything about the brand from Customer Service/Quality/Integrity/Reliability/the ability of mechanics (I meant why would an overhaul take 4 months, when its new parts) to Durability. A 2.5-year-old vehicle requiring an engine overhaul whilst my family has a 24 yr old Toyota Corolla still going strong, maybe Im comparing apples with bananas, a good strong well-built quality affordable Japanese vehicle with an expensive poor quality German vehicle I dont know.Below is a statement from the Audi South Africa website and honestly to me none of it, is true looking at my situation. e.g. Vehicle has no quality, I mean it essentially requires a new engine at 130 000 km, I get no support, I dont feel respected either. Our relationship is just based on me losing out in many ways. Also I dont think the cars are revolutionary but quick fix to last 2 yrs or less.Audi After Sales - Quality and Prestige - The day you purchase your Audi, you dont just buy a car. You become part of a legacy that is characterised by innovation and beauty, prestige and quality. You begin a relationship founded on mutual respect and admiration that progresses into the bonds we form with you through our valuable services and aftercare support. That is why we dont stop at designing revolutionary cars, we also go on to design outstanding support products specifically created to meet the exacting needs of the discerning Audi customer.Im a very dissatisfied customer and I strongly believe this vehicle had a factory problem though I may not be able to prove it. How can an injector which is part of the fuel system fail without warning? I believe its taking forever to fix (4 months) because it was never assembled properly and I was used to get rid of it, its an engine rebuild at my costs nogal. As I mentioned above, it was just a case of GOOD RIDDANCE. I believe this problem on the vehicle is probably unheard of on this models but Audi just wont admit. Otherwise it could have been sorted in 2 weeks at most. Its a factory fault. This is poor customer service of the highest order. This whole experience has left me traumatized badly. It has also changed how I perceive Audi considering I was such a loyal customer having bought my 1st Audi in 2011 (A4 1.8T).

In winter 2016 I have bought brand new 2017 Audi A4 Premium Plus for 47k. It was this new version with cool digital gauges and new technology. It was rather exciting. I was thinking at the time that this small luxury sedan was worth the money. Then in December 2020, I got the message that my car doesnt support any more Google maps and from December 31 will stop working. Really after 3 years my car is obsolete and exciting feature that I have chose this car for is no longer available. I have contacted dealerships right away to see if I can upgrade my car, but answer was no, and I should probably get a new or newer Audi in order to have that ability. So 4 years after I cough up 47k for this Audi and planning to keep it in the family for longer, this car lost one of features that was their top selling point. I had a numbers of Audi cars so far in my life A4, A6, Q5 and Q7. I can tell you one thing. I will never ever again buy a Audi. It is like throwing away you money for something that will be obsolete in 3-4 years. Really sad from company that I had a the time on top for my vehicle needs.

I found the Audi Q5 to be a very attractive car compared to other models that I had reviewed. It has a lot of features that I wanted in a car and the price was within my budget. I chose the Audi because of safety ratings that it has, it rides great and it had most of the features that I wanted. The car has GPS, which comes in handy often. It has WiFi and drives smoothly to be an SUV. The SUV has lots of power and acceleration is great. I enjoy the fact that it has Bluetooth and Sirius Radio as well as heated and vented seats. However, it does not have a convenient USB port and the GPS system took some time to program. I would change the location of the cup holders. On the 18th September 2011, I attended their showroom at Audi Centre Sydney and inspected the above vehicle. The following date on the 19th September 2011, I purchased the vehicle from them at a price of $28,000. I was never at any stage offered by the salesperson (George **) to test-drive the vehicle and was only told that Audi Centre Sydney had thoroughly checked the vehicle. After having taken delivery of the vehicle, I immediately noticed the Gearbox of the car had problems. Also, the brake was scratchy when I applied it.Two weeks later, I called Audi to have the vehicle looked at. One of their technicians drove the vehicle and agreed that there was a problem with the gearbox and the brake that would need couple days to rectify the problems. Upon consultations with **, Head of Service Department, my vehicle was booked in for the 14th November 2011 as a loan car became available then.On the 14th November 2011, I was given a loan car but returned it the very next day because the loan car carries a hefty $3,300 accident excess, which I found uncomfortable but on the same day, I was informed to pick up my vehicle as it required a new modified clutch to rectify the problem. However, the new modified clutch would not be available until the New Year 2012 and I was advised to contact him in January 2012.As requested, I made contact with ** in the first week of January 2012 only to be told that the new modified clutch had to be ordered from Germany first. Why wasnt the new modified clutch ordered sometime after the 14th November 2011? **, Head of Service Department informed me that the new modified clutch would be available in Australia by the middle of February 2012. Accordingly, the vehicle was booked in for the 28th of February 2012 to have the works completed to rectify the problem. However, on the 27th of February 2012, I received call from Ryan in the Service Department informing me that the new modified clutch had not yet arrived due to the new modified clutch has not been released yet and so the scheduled time of the 28th February 2012 was cancelled. In addition, they were not certain when the new modified clutch would arrive.I immediately called **, Head of Service Department, and was told that the new modified clutch may not be available until the end of March or early April with no certainty of the delivery date. In addition to this whole saga, I have been offered by **, Head of Sales Department to pay $5,000 for a replacement vehicle which I find totally unacceptable as I would not spend any more money on a product I do not have any confidence in or else wait for the new modified clutch seemingly indefinitely. As we are now in April 2012, nearly seven (7) months after having purchased this vehicle from Audi Centre Sydney at a price of $28,000, the present position is totally unacceptable. Having regarded to the fact it would seem that the vehicle was defective from the time of sale, the only satisfactory outcome to this drawn out frustrating period is that I return the vehicle to them and receive full refund of $28,000 that I paid for this faulty vehicle. If I have not received their immediate response within seven (7) days from this email to my satisfaction, I will lodge the matter with the Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal under the Motor Vehicle Division for their determination.

9 days ago, my engine warning lights came on, and the car had ZERO pep, could not go over 30 mph-drove the 6 miles to my home. Parked it and had AAA flatbed it to the Audi Dealership. My car, a 2008, A4-learned that the 2005-2007 had camshaft defects/recalls but the 2008 models were fixed. The tech crew at my dealership are top shelf, wonderful guys, and professionals. They say this is the first 2008 with this issue-problem. I need a new engine now, and at 160,000 miles, Im way past any warranty. And given that 2008 did not get this recall, I am in a bind. I have contacted Audi USA to see if they can help me or work with me. Ideally, Id like them to help me with a new engine, cost, labor, etc. I am awaiting their response, but I think they are looking at the potential of giving me a discount, should I opt to buy a new Audi 2015 - and at this point, I am not overly happy with the manufacturer.

Bought my wife a Q7 and were really enjoying it. It has a lot of great technology. Our son just got his learners permit and has been practicing with my wife in the passenger seat. We have a clay pot near the corner of our garage door that hides the garden hose. My son misjudged the 90 degree turn from our driveway into the garage and hit the pot. His speed was less than 5 miles per hour. The pot suffered no damage (if you get really close, you can see that there is a small stripe of the glazing that has lost a little of its sheen). The Q7, however, fell apart. I had no idea that the bumper and several of the front panels are only held on by clips. Also, some of the electronic sensors for the active cruise control were knocked out of adjustment. Total cost to repair the very fragile Q7 was $4,656.47. I cant imagine how costly the damage would have been if the Q7 was actually involved in a real accident with another vehicle. This is beyond a glass chin. Would its passengers even be safe considering that it falls apart so easily? Consider yourself warned and stay far away.

Purchased 2006 A4 used in March of 2007 with 8,000 miles. Two weeks after purchase, stranded, due to bad coils. The car is towed and repaired under warranty. One month later coils fail again - Im stranded again. Car is towed and repaired. After that the car is excellent mechanically for about 75,000 miles of meticulous, by the book maintenance by an outstanding independent Audi shop. Replaced plastic center console glove box latch twice. I finally improvised with velcro. Cmon Audi cheap, fragile, plastic latch on a 30K car! The Check Engine remained lit from 10,000 miles on. The dealer and Audi shop would diagnose every tune-up and oil change but the light would come back after 10 miles or so. At 60,000 control module for auto door lock and alarm failed - quoted $525.00 repair. I decide to manually lock and unlock driver door. All other doors locked properly but the alarm would not set without manually locking the driver door. 110,000 mile driver side power window actuator, $350.00. 115,000 oil sensor/plug $690.00. Next rear fuel pump located in gas tank, $800.00. Now the car is dead from camshaft failure at 135,000 miles. The dealer quote is $11,200.00. Ive driven many makes in 40 years of car ownership: GM, Honda, Acura, Lexus, BMW. None have left me stranded by the roadside. Acura, Lexus and Bimmer easily exceeded 150,000 miles. When the car had 40,000 miles and was over the time part of the express warranty (but not the mileage part) a light went on and I was told a valve in the turbo charger (that was redone and improved by Audi) needed replacement. This fixed the problem, but Audi only paid for the part not the over $300 of labor to replace the part. Given the history, they should have paid for the entire repair. They do not act like an upscale brand seeking to create a positive Audi Experience.

I purchased this A4 Audi in 2012. At the time, it still had the manufacturer warranty and still does. I had several issues with the car due to Audi design of the steering and ball joints. Currently, I was having trouble with fuel door on the car opening. So I brought it in to ask them to fix it. I was told by Robin that the problem is with the comfort module due to water damage! THEY said they assumed it was water damage and it is not covered by manufacturer warranty! She tried to show me water damage; I did not see any. She said that she might have given me too much information but they cannot complete the FIX because they will not connect the comfort module because the problem IS NOT FIXED unless I pay $812. So I had to leave with the problem at hand!!!

I purchased Audi Q7... The brand itself shows its worth, but I never thought that this would happen with my dream car. Only @ 60000 km, Engine Breakdown. Is it Audis actual car? Just after 60000 I have to spend Rs 699,883.76. Called customer Services Gurgaon India, wanted to lodge a complaint on Audis official website. A representative called Heena picked the phone and declined to give me the complaints address for Audi. I dont know is this the cost of using a Brand like Audi. Me and my elder Brother have Audi Q7 and probably we are looking to buy another, but dont think after such a poor experience and service quality as well as such a poor customer services we would recommend Audi to someone else. I would like someone to revert back to my complaint and WANT A DIRECT COMPLAINT EMAIL OR TELEPHONIC COMPLAINT Number FOR AUDI.

Beware if you are an Audi owner. I love their cars but their customer service sucks! I have had the same part on my vehicle replaced every year for 6 years. No one could find out the problem so I assumed they would just keep doing this. Wrong! If you have ANY repair service done, even at the dealership, make sure you call up Audi Customer Service and get a Case ID number. The repair on your vehicle, even through a dealership, is NOT accessible to anyone else. In other words, unless you call up Audi every time you have an issue they will not accept that it even occurred. Receipts dont help.My dealership was repairing the part out of what they call goodwill. What is that? I thought they were repairing it because of a design or part flaw on their part. It should be expected to be replaced. I shouldnt have to be grateful they fixed my car! This last time the repair lasted a year and a half so the warranty on the vehicle and that part is over. Its only $1100 to fix a door seal! Maybe because they should last the life of the vehicle.

I have never regretted anything more than my purchase of the 2019 Audi e-tron. The only upside is that I leased the thing and I am now anxiously counting down the next 33 months (2 more of which I likely wont even see the car), until I can get rid of it. We bought the car on December 30, 2019. I had the car a week and the entire back end lighting system failed. They had no idea what the issue was, so it took a few days to figure that out. Then, they had no replacement part, and no estimated time for when one would be received. Communication was awful and we had to beg for updates. Finally, my husband called Audi USA after multiple different stories from the service department, and told them if this is how this was going to be we wanted to get rid of the car. Magically, the light bar showed up to the body shop the next day! Had the car back two weeks, and someone rear ended me while sitting at a light. Not horrible damage, but not trivial either. Again, no freaking parts to fix the car, and no idea of when they might have any. Again, begging everyone for information and getting the run around. Another call to Audi USA and still no parts (they were able to find a few, but there are still several outstanding with no ETA). The car has been sitting at the body shop now since 2/13/20, and there is no end in sight. How, how do you sell a car and not have the appropriate parts to fix it??? No communication, no apologies for how awful the whole situation is. Basically, just a your out of luck attitude. Several people at my childs school have asked me about the car, and I have given them every awful detail, and have persuaded several to look for something, anything else!!!! So, I am now paying close to $1000 for an electric car that I cant drive and likely wont for a minimum of 3 months, and have the pleasure of driving a rental that I am filling with gas pretty much negating the point of the electric car. Thanks, Audi for literally the most awful service I have ever had the displeasure of paying for. Let me leave you with a wonderful piece of advice a college professor gave me in the event anyone from Audi reads this, Proper prior planning prevents poor performance.

They had an absolute huge selection of family friendly vehicles for me to choose from, which made it a really hard choice to pick a specific vehicle. Each of the vehicles were spectacularly invincible looking. They had a really nice glow to them and caught the eye right away - of myself, my spouse, and my child. Seeing all the upgrades made me want personalization, and there were a lot of choices to personalize a vehicle of my choice - color, seating, doors, etc. Having a young child, safety is my number one feature to look for. Since I have a one year old and a newborn on the way, seating is a huge factor in my buying a car. So having at least a five-seater is mandatory and that was available which was nice.

I bought my 2016 Audi Q5 in air day weekend of 2016 and Ive had 3 separate issues and now 3 recalls in the car within a matter of 9 months. 30 days in my sunroof started to rattle so bad it sounded like the glass was going to fall out. Take it to have it fixed and issues with getting a courtesy vehicle. I got a small A3 which is not comparable to a Q5... Just pointing out the obvious! Also they werent very thrilled about giving me a car even though that was used a sales tactic because that was one of the things I liked about their service and having a luxury SUV! They had to take out the sunroof and put something around the whole thing so it doesnt rattle. Issue was fixed and hasnt come back.Came back in probably 2 months after that when other random rattle sounds started to pop up. One in the back trunk area and one by the dash. Again did not want to give me a courtesy vehicle and again I had to insist. Im a mother of a small child, that time is precious to me and Im not sitting in a dealership with a small kid, no thanks! Trunk issues resolved, front they couldnt figure out and I hear from time to time. Now the final one is my window makes a high pitch screeching sound when I roll it down. Seems to happen in hotter weather. This is getting looked at this week and the 2 out of 3 recalls! This car has been plagued with problems and not the safe luxury SUV I spent $50,000 on to keep me and my daughter safe! Im so disappointed and disgusted with Audi and how Ive been treated. This is not the service or car I expected from them at all!! I called Audi America today and was told they couldnt buy my car back because it had recalls! Really? Why do you think I want to see it back to you, Audi??? Im not safe in this malfunctioning car you sold me!!! And now you dont want it back? SHOCKER! As for the dealership, they can care less and are so rude it blows my mind! Huge mistake buying an Audi! Shouldve stuck with Infiniti!

Previous owner of a 2012 Q7 (and other Audis), loved it, not a minutes trouble, never an issue. Anxiously awaited new Q7, saw one at dealer, made a deal and said I would be back the next day to close the deal, I would be in a rush as I had to pick my kids up, make sure everything is ready to go (paperwork printed etc). My Admin Assistant tells them the same thing, make sure paperwork is ready. I buy a vehicle for business 3-4 times a year, I typically am out of the dealership before they can even fuel the vehicle up when they print everything in advance. It didnt happen, ended up being better than 3 hours so I missed picking up my kids, had to get other arrangements to pick them up while I am in dealership. I should have walked out. My fault, but I will never go back there again or buy another Audi. I finally get the car, 12 miles on it, no sooner than I leave dealer lot, warning light goes off. Early the next morning, another warning light, low tire pressure, tire goes flat with 55 miles on it. Nothing visibly wrong, put air in it. Next morning, same thing, flat tire, I tighten valve stem, problem solved. I work on second row seats to kill that warning light, put seats in every conceivable position, wont go out... I email dealer and call and leave a message tell them I am not happy, give me my old car back... No response, but believe me, they knew I was mad so they know who I am.Next day I drop my kids off at school, car wont come out of park in drop off line. Lots of angry parents behind me!!! Restart car several times, finally it will shift... and seat warning light goes out too, bonus!! Little while later the low windshield washer fluid light comes on... Open hood, its full... Then the low tire warning on again, I call dealer and say I am on the way to an appointment, can I swing by and you look at it. Sorry, you dont have an appointment and it will be a minimum of an hour before anyone can look and then dont know how long it will take and we dont have a loaner. The lady knows my name from my earlier complaints so you think they might make an effort to get me in quickly???Then the windshield wipers default to service position and will not operate nor will they reset to normal when you unclick the service position switch... I get out and push them down, they wont work, dead... I get home and call dealer again, left message for GM too, email them again. Then I call Audi care... What a joke! I am in business and understand good customer service, but as I voice my frustration, the lady says you need to take the car into dealer, to which I say I have tried but they have not been able to see me yet, I will take it there and leave it there! She says no, you cant do that, you have to work to the dealers schedule, make an appointment first. I reply back, what about customer service??? I say with previous Mercedes the dealer would come pick the car up and leave me a loaner for the day, that is customer service! She said I am just trying to lower your expectations so you wont be disappointed. Really??? The call went downhill from there, but I will never buy another AUDI ever again and this was a car I was anxiously anticipating getting. The entire Audi experience from the sale to the service to the car sucks...

So I own a 2013 Audi A4 with 83000 miles on. This car is very bad and unreliable. The car burns lot of oil. Last time when I went to the dealer and told them about the issue the guy was like, That not our problem. This issue is a thing that Audi must take care of. I believe as we consumers should pay a dollar because many people have this problem and Audi should recall their A4s.

I would like to know how to lodge a formal complaint about my Audi S3 and the dissatisfaction I have received from Audi roadside assistance and Audi Service Centre in Parramatta. When I first walked into the Audi Parramatta dealership when purchasing my S3, the level of service and communication was outstanding! I was so pleased with how I was informed every step of the way and the progress on when my car was being built. It all went downhill from there as soon as I left the dealership.About 8 months of owning the car the centre console panel started to flack up and peel exposing the aluminium underlay of the part of the car. Shortly after that my car overheated and the warning light came on for me to turn off my engine and put coolant in the car. I was stranded with my 1 year old and my 3 year old. I called the Audi roadside assistance and was told that someone would be there within an hour. 4 hours later no one turned up so I was forced to drive the car myself with my 3 year old and 1 year to the Parramatta service centre for them to add coolant to the car. Then I was emailed a survey about the roadside and because I gave them a 0 mark they called me the next day asking why I had marked them so low. I explained that I was left stranded for hours on end with my 2 kids under the age of 3 and had to drive my overheated car to the service centre myself. I was told by the person on the phone that the job was not logged and that is why no one came or called. Then when I booked in my car for the service I was told I had to wait close to 2 weeks for the new part to arrive. I waited weeks and no one from the Parramatta service centre got in touch with me so I had to call them to follow up with them to confirm my appointment and confirm the part had arrived. I dropped it off and had arranged a loan car. I inquired about the terms and conditions of the loan car agreement. I was told by MASON that I would have to pay $2500 excess regardless if I got into an accident and it was not my fault. So I couldnt even utilise the loan car which is why I asked for the loan car so I could use it for work. I missed an entire days work because of this information that was wrong! I was mislead and deceived into signing this legally binding agreement. Then to top it off after missing an entire day of work to have a part in my car changed, I was called at 3:30 PM to tell me the part had been damaged, mind you the car was dropped off at 8:00 AM that morning. There is no way it was damaged when leaving the factory in Germany, clearly it was damaged when the staff opened it. I know this because the Assistant Manager Chris told me that the part comes wrapped in bubble wrap and layers of other material to protect and it gets delivered in a box. I was then told I have to wait another week and a half for another part to come in.2 weeks later I am yet to hear anything from Audi Parramatta service centre. The website clearly states that first class service to Audi consumers when clearly that is not the case. What is the point of having an Audi if the staff cannot even communicate with its consumers, when they cant even advise its consumers of correct information on an agreement, when my car over heats and parts are damaged and when roadside leaves its consumers stranded? It is a joke that I have spent all this money on this car and to be so dissatisfied. No one at the service centre offered any sort of compensation or help with anything. Not even a sorry.Today after waiting 2 weeks for the new part to arrive I dropped my car off again to Audi Service Centre to have the part changed. I wasnt even called to pick it up even though I left my mobile number with Jeffery, instead my husband was called and when I got to Audi to pick my car up I had to wait 20 minutes as Jeffery was too busy to see me. He told me that he had delayed his lunch and that he had been waiting for me, what kind of employee at a service centre even says that to its customer? On top of that my car not only got damaged whilst they changed the part, the part they fitted doesnt even fit correctly and the installer has now damaged two parts of the console of my car. The worst experience Audi has delivered, worst service and lack of due diligence is unbelievable. I now have to wait even longer to have new parts brought in and I am told Chris or Jeffery will be in touch but it will be a while. The worst Service Centre ever!!!

Audi car models somewhat look the same but I am okay with that and would maybe recommend it to someone. The driving is good but the verity is lacking a little bit. I do not think that there is actually a way to customize the car. I just drive it because I have to. The car is small and usually only holds about 3 people but we can all squeeze together. It is kinda nice but I wish it had more space to move around and carry people around with it. I like bigger cars but my spouse wanted this brand of car. I would probably choose a different dealer next time and get a car that is bigger.

We recently purchased an Audi Q3. The car has been with us for 5 months and has a 5000+ plus on it. Suddenly, the front wheel developed bubbles. Now all wheels have alignment problem. They informed us that bubbles are due to potholes. As far as my recollection goes, there has not been any major potholes that we encountered. I am extremely unhappy with the way the car has deteriorated in standard over the past few months. I believe I am talking about premium luxury car whose features had been put to vast testing and certified of performance that has enabled them over the years to set such high price value. But if a tire alignment could change and develop bubble if the car goes through a pothole, I am seriously wondering the kind of test they have done to certify it. How could I trust this car when I travel in snow? I am extremely disappointed with the car. I had once liked Audi so much that we did not look at any other brands hoping it would be truth in engineering as promised. But now I regret my decision.

I own an Audi A4 Quattro that with less than 60.000 miles started with a metallic sound from the front wheels, it turned out that the bearings had to be replaced... I had a extended warranty which Audi refused to honor. It is very disturbing that a company that is so proud of their 4-wheel drive would have such premature problems with their wheel bearings. To add insult to injury, the dealer had not updated the history of the car with the repairs done, the brand said there must have been internet problems. To me, it seems like a deliberate effort to hide problems that may affect other owner, which is the reason I am posting this complaint to ConsumerAffairs.

I have purchased an Audi A6 2.7TDI in May 2010. The details of vehicle are as follows: Vehicle Type : AUDI A6 2.7 Tdi. Makers Name : Audi India. Fuel used : DieselThe vehicle is giving trouble continuously since the same was purchased in 2010. We furnish below the list of some of the major defects we noticed. The vehicle was sent for repairs to Hyderabad. 1. Water leakage problem occurred in September 2010, and the water pump was replaced with a new one. 2. The belt of the alternator was found to be broken. 3. Steering jam problem. 4. Brake problem was noticed after repairs en route; for example, Hyderabad to Nagpur. 5. Front wind shield cracked and replaced in October 2011. 6. Servicing and minor repairs in June 2012 at Nagpur workstation. 7. Fuel line problem occurred immediately after servicing at Nagpur workstation.8. During the past, the vehicle was stranded en route twice in the span of 2 years.First of all, in September 2010, we found some defects. The same was communicated to Audi India for the defects in the vehicle were water leakage, defective alternator, and defective steering jam. The vehicle was sent to Olympus Motors Private Limited, Hyderabad for repairs. While communicating the defect to you, I had already notified to please note I cannot pull on with such problems often & often in a new vehicle with only 7000 km of run. I am very much disturbed with problems like this, and as such, request you to kindly take back the vehicle, which is running with all these manufacturing defects. The vehicle was sent to Hyderabad for repairs for four times, but the problems in the vehicle continued. In addition to the above, some brake system failures were generated en route from Hyderabad to Nagpur, which was again repaired by Audi technicians, who came all the way from Hyderabad to Nagpur for these repairs. In October 2011, a crack was noticed at the left corner of the front windshield which gradually developed and was then replaced with a new front windshield by your Hyderabad-based workstation. However, every time, the vehicle needs to be sent to Hyderabad and received back at Nagpur in a closed van. The cost of transportation of Rs. 80,000 was incurred by us for replacing front windshield glass worth Rs. 40,000.The vehicle was continuously giving us trouble and was required to be sent to Hyderabad for repairs 4 times, but the list of the problems continue to be growing even today, though the same was sent for regular servicing and timely repairs at your authorized service stations. The vehicle continued to be out of order for some or the other reason. This vehicle was sent for servicing at your Nagpur-based workstation for servicing in the end of June 2012. Some or the other small manufacturing defects lead me to rethink about my decision of purchasing the vehicle and more particularly Audi-made vehicles. The manufacturing defects crop up every time and lead to dissatisfaction. After servicing the vehicle, some problem of fuel pump choke-up cropped up; and the vehicle was detained for about 20 days at the Nagpur workstation for getting certain spares. The net effect was that the vehicle remained idle for no fault of us, even if the same was sent for servicing on time. The vehicle is again sent for repairs on 21.07.2012, since the diesel leakage problem was noticed in the vehicle. It appears that the diesel tank was improperly fitted or alignment must have been disturbed. It is noted that the vehicle traveled for 30,431 km till date and remained with continuous problems with such a short run. I am very much perturbed and dissatisfied by the everyday problems in the vehicle. I therefore request you to kindly take back the vehicle. It is regretted to state that I am sorry to continue to own this vehicle any more, and therefore, Im inclined to request you to kindly take back the vehicle and refund us the cost I had already paid along with interest thereon at 18% per annum.

Ive purchased a brand new 2013 Audi S5 Cabriolet and took delivery from dealership in middle of 2012 with 4 years/50k warranty. 22 months into the ownership (at 9,500 driven miles) car started to pull to the side and required a wheel alignment at a cost of over $550. I was told that although the mileage was low, this wheel alignment is considered normal wear and tear. Although I strongly disagreed, I ended-up paying for it. Last week while driving, my front left tire completely deflated. After removing the tire in order to replace it with a spare I noticed that the inner part of rubber is showing steal metal belts. Next day I took the car to dealership and was told that:a) Car needs another wheel alignment (it currently has 19,300 miles on it). b) All 4 tires are under 3/32 (as measured by Audi Service Consultant) and need replacement even though they are rated for 50k. Since the car is still under warranty and since this is very odd that another alignments is needed and that I also now need to replace 50k rated tires on a car with 19,300 miles on it I called Audi Corporate office and opened a Case # ** with request for FULL reimbursement of expenses.Unfortunately Audi decided to decline my request, citing wear and tear. Im beyond of being disappointed and strongly disagree that this is normal wear and tear. After consulting with my legal counselor who has advised me that I have over 90% chance of successfully getting Audi to reimburse me for wheel alignment and tires and therefore, in addition to filing this complaint with bbb.org I will also be taking Audi to Small Claims court and will publish verdict with details of the case on as many blog sites as I can find. After all Im certain that Im not the only customer with similar problem and will make other consumers aware of possible issues/pitfalls they may be facing if they buy an Audi! Lack of responsibility by Audi after selling a luxury and expensive automobile in unacceptable and will not go unchallenged.

My Audi experience has been a nightmare. My wife and I bought a 2011 Q5 on April 4, 2011. When the car had 28000 miles on it, the low oil light came on. We were told it was from a defective hood latch, which the dealer replaced. The light came on again in several thousand miles and we were told this time it was a pressure regulating valve, which was replaced. The light came on a third time and we were told an oil consumption test needed to be initiated. I know its hard to believe, but the oil light came on a 4th time. Day Audi of Monroeville advised me that VW/Audi had a known defect with their 2.0 turbo engines and I would need the pistons and rings replaced in the vehicle. First they needed to send the oil consumption results to the Audi Corporation and get the work approved. Audi advised the dealer that my Audi, which only has 40,000 miles on it, was consuming a normal amount of oil, and no further repairs were needed. The dealer advised the oil light would continue top come on, just bring it in and get it topped off when it does. They also offered to buy my vehicle back at a lowball auction price. Audi is a joke of a corporation that could care less about their customers. I would never recommend a Volkswagen or Audi to anyone as a result of being treated in this manner.

Bought a used (but looked like-new) 2004 Audi A4 1.8T. It had 82k miles on it from the previous owner of 10 years. No accidents, what could go wrong? Seemed like a diamond in the rough. Carfax said it never had major repairs done to it whatsoever. Seriously good deal right? Wrong. The dealers had left the car light on and blamed the last owner for making it a problem and having to change the battery. Dealers said theyd replace the battery before they sold it to me. Okay. Bought it, picked it up, went home. It sat there. Few days later? Dead car. Called the dealers, had them tow the car, sat in their off-the-map shop for 4 days with no communication because the mechanic was too busy and sounded annoyed the one time I tried to get in touch. It finally came home to me, only to find a scratched side mirror that wasnt there before (I have picture proof) and a check engine light. Next few days - dead again. Battery was fine, its something electrical. This is a good a time as any to mention that the car is completely automatic and locks everything. Can hardly get into the drivers side, all other doors are locked, trunk is locked, no real locks inside or key hole for truck, nope. All automatic. Huge hassle. Im getting a refund. Its more money than its worth. NEVER AGAIN.

The options for personalizing the Audi A6 is off the charts and very amazing. I love the great quality and everything else you can choose. I bought a used A3 Quattro with 2800 miles in 2015. The car handles and drives very well but only if it is not in the shop. I have about 69K miles and have already had a water pump failure at 55K and now have a Gear Shift Lever Assembly issue. At about 65K the car started giving me an electronic malfunction warning and told me to stop, place the car in park and call service. I had it diagnosed to this assembly and have been told the repair is about $1700. I thought the days of poor reliability were over. I guess not! This vehicle has engineered obsolescence and is only good for the 50K warranty. I advise not buying the A3.
